Pinkamena was whistling a tune to herself as she walked down the sidewalk. As she passed an alley a white-ish blur dove out from it and slammed into her, both mares falling to the ground.

"Derpy?" asked Pinks, rubbing her head. "What's wrong?" She asked, before opening her eyes and noticing the mare atop her was pure white with poofy yellow hair. "You're not Derpy... You're... really white..."

"You gotta help!" The white mare exclaimed, quickly getting to her knees beside the pink mare. "Th-There's bodies!" She yelled, pointing to the alley.

Pinks tilted her head and got up. "Wait here..." she said to the white mare as she stepped into the alley. "What the fuck?" She asked as she saw a blue colt with a hole where his heart should be and a headless black colt, whose head was a few feet from the body. The pink mare tilted her head and walked up to the side of the building where there were bloody hand prints on the wall. "Looks like another succubus victim..."

"Did you see them?" Asked the white mare as Pinks left the alley. "Did you see all the blood!" She gasped, clearly in shock.

Pinks quickly stepped up to her and covered her mouth. "Shhh..." she said, putting a finger over her lips. "Not so loudly... Don't wanna cause a panic, got it?"

The white mare nodded her head before Pinks pulled her hand away. She then took out her phone and speed-dialed Celestia's number. "Yes, hello? It's Pinks. There's two more bodies. Huh? No, I'm with someone else. Umm..." She then looked at the mare. "What's your name?"

"Surprise!" The mare cheered, throwing her arms out to the side with a large smile.

Pinks raised an eyebrow. "That your name, or... you doin' a thing?"

The white mare kept her pose and smile "My name," she cheered.

Pinkamena nodded. "Yes, Celestia. I'm here with Surprise. Yes, ma'am, I'll wait right here with her.

Chrysalis was walking down one of the hotel's basement's halls when she heard a voice from behind her.

"Chrysalis!" Came a gentle voice.

The Changeling looked over her shoulder to see the butter mare running down the hall towards her. She let out an annoyed sigh and turned to face her as the mare slowed down on approach.

"What do you want?" asked Chrysalis as the pegasus panted lightly in front of her.

"Th-There's... something I wanted to... tell you..." Shy panted.

"Yes, I was able to figure that part out on my own," the Changeling said, sounding annoyed. "Now, tell me what it is..."

Shy waited a few seconds till she could breathe normally again. "B-Before... when you were pretending to be Luna... I sort of... I dunno, I... W-Well, I, uh..." she stammered, blushing heavily as it was clear she was embarrassed and nervous.

"Spit... it... out..." Chrysalis growled through through her teeth.

The mare whimpered a little. "I... think I... sort of... started to... like you..."

"Like me?"

"I think..."

"You think..." Chrysalis repeated. "Well, thanks for the chat... Now, if you'll excuse me..." she said, starting to turn away.

"Wait!" Shy gasped, grabbing the Changeling's arm. "I think I really--"

She let out a gasp as Chrysalis whipped around, grabbed her throat, and backed her into the wall roughly, holding her in place.

"Listen here, you stupid bitch!" the Changeling growled. "I never liked you! I was only using you to feed off of and gain power... Those times we fucked... It was for the fun of it... IT WAN'T BECAUSE I LIKED YOU!!! NOW, GET THIS THROUGH YOUR THICK SKULL AND LEAVE ME THE FUCK ALONE!!!"

She quickly released her grip and the mare dropped to the floor, choking. The Changeling then turned and began walking down the hall.

The shy mare coughed and sniffled, starting to cry softly. "B-But..." she muttered to herself. "I-I think I... really... loved you..."

The Changeling was almost at the end of the hall when she suddenly clutched her chest, feeling a surge of energy. She let out a soft gasp , going slightly wide-eyed when she realized where it came from. She slowly looked over her shoulder at the crying mare and gasped again.

"No fucking way..." she muttered to herself. She turned back around and looked down at her chest. "Impossible..."

She couldn't believe she was receiving actual love that wasn't forced in any way. It also felt stronger and better than any she's ever felt. Was it possible that someone finally loved her for her? If so, she was stuck on what to do next. She had an image to keep and she also had a reputation at being a bitch... but, this mare actually had feelings for her. True feelings.

Fluttershy whimpered and cried into her knees, holding them close to her chest when she suddenly heard the sound of approaching footsteps. She sniffled and looked up to see Chrysalis standing above her. To her surprise, the Changeling knelt down to look her in the eyes.

"You don't... think I look... ugly?" the Changeling asked.

Fluttershy sniffled and shook her head. "No..."

"Scary?"

Shy shook her head again. "No... I think you look... enchanting..."

Chrysalis leaned back a little in surprise. "Enchanting?"

"Mmm-hmm..." Fluttershy replied with small nod and light smile. "Like something out of a fairy tale..."

The Changeling gasped softly and looked down at the floor. "No one's ever... said I looked... well... not scary..."

Fluttershy smiled a little more and leaned in, lowering her knees till she was in a kneeling position. "You know... you look cute when you're not all... frowny..."

Chrysalis eyed her through her own hair without moving her head. "Cute?"

Shy nodded, smiling more. Chrysalis smiled back and slowly reached out, gently placing her clawed hand on Shy's cheek. The pegasus nuzzled it before leaning in more and wrapping her arms around the queen. Chrysalis gasped softly before hugging back, gently placing her hands on Shy's back before nuzzling her neck.

Both held each other close in a loving hug, not saying a word. As they did, Chrysalis' veins began to glow a faint green. The shy mare smiled and ran a finger up and down Chrysalis' back.

"That's so pretty..." she cooed, admiring the queen's glowing veins.

"They only look that way because of you, Fluttershy..." Chrysalis explained. "I'm so sorry I treated you like shit earlier..."

"That's in the past..." Shy cooed.

The Changeling let out a chuckle. "You mean a few minutes ago?"

Fluttershy chuckled as well as they both nuzzled each other some more, both feeling really happy that they found what they were looking for.
