The drive back to Elementals HQ was an awkward one as Twi and Dash tried not to look n the backseat at Chrysalis and Nala. The Changelings tried their best to avoid eye contact as well, everyone keeping silent until Dash pulled up to the hotel.

"Here we are," she said, breaking the silence. She then got out. "I'll let the boss know they're here," she said as she ran inside.

Twi watched her leave before looking back at Chrysalis, who wasn't moving a muscle. "It's okay to be nervous."

"I'm not nervous," the queen replied as she crossed her arms.

"It's okay to be not nervous, too," Twi replied with a light smile.

Nala actually cracked a light smile as her queen opened the car door and stepped out. Twilight let out a sigh as Nala followed her queen, before getting out as well. Closing her door, she walked passed the two Changelings as she led them towards the front door. When they were close enough to open the doors, the doors opened and Celestia stepped out. Twi had to quickly step aside to avoid getting hit by the door as Celestia and Chrysalis stared at each other.

The white alicorn slowly began walking towards the queen. At first, Twilight thought Chrysalis was about to get a fist to the face. Instead, the alicorn held out a hand. Chrysalis eyed it and looked Celestia in the eyes for what seemed like an hour. She then reached out and slowly shook it.

"Welcome back," Celestia said with a smile.

The Changeling leaned in with a frown. "I'm not back... This is only temporary," she said, before walking passed the alicorn as she and Nala headed inside.

Celestia smirked and eyed Twilight. "She's back."

Twi stifled a giggle as they both heard Chrysalis yell, "Not back!"

"She is," Celestia said a little more softly as she and Twilight both headed inside.

Fluttershy was eating a veggie burger in the dining room, her ears twitching when she heard voices in the main hall. Glancing over her shoulder, she looked out of the open doors and saw Chrysalis being lead to the stairs by Celestia. The queen suddenly looked over at her, their eyes meeting for a second before Shy gasped and looked away. She then held her chest as she felt her heart rate quicken, probably due to the fact that the one she had a crush on was actually here. When she looked back, the Changeling and Celestia had left. The shy mare then looked back at her burger and sighed as Angel hopped up onto the table.

"Oh, Angel bunny... This just became easier and harder..." she whimpered as she took another bite of her burger.

Celestia sat down behind her desk as Chrysalis sat down in a chair in front of the desk, crossing her legs as she leaned back.

"So, I assume you are aware of what exactly is going on?" Celestia asked.

"Yes, Twilight mentioned a Succubus."

"And, you believed her?"

The queen smirked. "Look at me, Celestia... Changelings were once thought a myth... No more, it would seem. And, besides... I have an unusually large amount of respect for your... new pet..." Chrysalis said as she tried to find the right term.

The alicorn nodded with a light smile. "Well, this Succubus has only killed once and it was at night time. This leads me to believe she only attacks at night."

"That does make sense..." the queen agreed.

"So, you will help us?"

"If this thing is a Succubus... then, she feeds off love..." Chrysalis explained. "I may feed off love as well but I also have a large amount of love towards my only child. Remember her? The one you didn't kill?" Chrysalis said with a glare.

"You mean the only one that you did not get killed?" Celestia said, glaring back.

The queen let out a yell and quickly stood up, her fists clenched but did nothing. She then turned her back to the alicorn and light crying could be heard. Celestia's expression softened as she got up, before slowly walking around her desk. Once she was close enough she reached out and gently rubbed the queen's back, only to have it swatted away. She then placed her hand on her shoulder and stepped right up to her.

"I am so sorry..." she said sympathetically.

Chrysalis eyed her with watery eyes, sniffling. "It's all my fault," she whimpered.

The alicorn quickly pulled her into a hug, the queen hugging back. "Oh, Chryssi... I am so so sorry..." she said softly.

Both simply hugged each other for what seemed like forever before the queen broke the silence. "This doesn't mean I'm back..."

Celestia chuckled softly. "I know, Chryssi... I know..."

Fluttershy was heading back to her room and was about to walk passed Celestia's room when the door opened. Chrysalis suddenly stepped out and closed the door before Fluttershy bumped into her.

The queen quickly turned to face her. "You?" she asked. "Staring at me wasn't good enough? You have to go and bump into me?"

"I-I-I'm so sorry, I..." Fluttershy whimpered as she took a step back. "I-I didn't have enough time to react, and..."

"And, I-I-I don't have time for this shit," the queen snapped, mocking the shy girl's stammering. "Now, if you'll excuse me, I got a basement to go make into my home..." she said as she pushed passed Shy.

The girl stumbled only a little and watched Chrysalis leave. Every fiber of her being told her to stay away but she knew she had to try.
