Twilight flipped through a book as she sat down at a table in one of the city's many libraries. Dash paced back and forth behind her as she tried to think.

"Vampires?" The cyan mare suggested. "They drink blood, right?"

"Vampires only drink blood, Dashie," Twilight said as she flipped a page. "They aren't required to fuck their victims and they certainly aren't that... messy..."

"Why is the fact that the body was found nude so important?" Asked Dash, not quite understanding why her unicorn friend was so hung up on this.

"I dunno..." The purple mare replied, flipping a page. "It just feels important..."

Dash let out a sigh. "Alright, then... What kind of creature seduces its victims before killing them?"

"The only ones I've heard of are Sirens and Mermaids... but..."

"But, what?" asked Dash. "If we got a case of Sirens then we gotta do something before we're overrun, right?"

Twilight eyed her as she flipped another page. "The book says there's only three, Dashie... So, unless they've been having orgies..."

"That would explain the sex, though..."

"That body was just the first, Rainbow. A lot more would be needed to overrun us." Twi then smiled. "Besides, the book says they're large, serpent creatures. If there was one, let alone three Sirens slithering around Ponytropolis... I think we'd know."

"And mermaids stick to water..." Dash said through her teeth, hoping she was on to something.

Twi started to flip the page before stopping and reading a page. "No, it can't be..."

Rainbow placed her hands on the table as she leaned in. "What? Find something?"

Twi simply passed her the book. The cyan mare looked down at it, reading the title of the chapter: Succubus

"A succubus?" Asked Dash, reading the page. "But... it's a demon... Those aren't real..."

Twilight held her head and closed her eyes tightly in thought. "The facts are all there... They seduce their victims, get their energy from the semen... and then eats them to satisfy its hunger..."

"Shit..." the cyan mare replied as she closed the book. "Well... fuck, what do we do?"

The unicorn hesitated in thought before leaning back in her chair. "Well... if we're dealing with a real life succubus... then, we're gonna need some help..."

"Help?" Asked Rainbow. "From who? And, who would be crazy enough to help us?"

Twi thought before smiling. "Someone who has nothing to lose..." She then slid her chair away from the table and stood up. "Someone who understands lust," Twilight said before turning and heading to the exit.

Dash thought for a moment before going wide-eyed, running after her. "Wait! You can't mean..."

Octavia let out a groan and found herself in her bed. She let out a gasp and gripped the bed sheets, pulling them up over her ripped shirt and looking around.

"What the hell?" She said, shuddering as she was still freaking out. "Did... Did I imagine her?" she asked herself, trying to figure out if the red mare she saw was real or not. "If she was, then... how did I get back here?"

She then heard a giggle. "You talk to yourself."

Octavia let out a yell and looked up on the ceiling. The red mare was sitting on it, upside-down as she looked down at her. "Y-You! You're real!"

Ruby looked herself over and nodded. "Yes."

"Wh-What are you and why didn't you kill me like the others?!"

Ruby tilted her head before crawling across the ceiling and disappearing into the living room. She then returned, her tail wrapped around the handle of the cello with the strum in her mouth. She then set the instrument on the bed and opened her mouth, letting the strum fall on top of it.

Octavia stared at her before her cello. "What the..."

The gray mare slowly came to the conclusion that she wasn't in any danger from... whatever this mare was. She then slowly slid into a seated position against the pillows and gently slid the bottom of the cello off the bed. While still holding onto the handle part she slid her legs over the side of the bed and sat beside her cello, getting into position to play it. Picking up the strum, she looked at Ruby, who was now sitting beside her on the bed.

"You want me to play, don't you?" asked Octavia, placing the strum against the strings of the cello. Ruby smiled and gave a single nod. "Alright, then..."

Octavia then started playing, a sweet, relaxing tune filling the room as Ruby closed her eyes and swayed slightly. She was clearly enjoying the music as the gray mare smiled. If this mare liked her music then maybe others would, too. She then became filled with determination and self-confidence. It was as if meeting this mare was part of her destiny. A sign saying she was doing the right thing.

This made her smile wider and close her eyes, now getting into it as she played and played, her left working the strings as her right moved the strum. The red mare was still smiling and swaying... until Octavia suddenly stopped playing.

"Say... How exactly did you know where I lived?" She asked.

Ruby opened her eyes with a smile. "Smells like you."

Octavia blushed lightly, thinking the mare meant she smelled. She then realized that this mare seemed almost animalistic, by the way she crawled across the ceiling, and concluded that she simply meant her scent. Giving the mare a smile, she went back to playing.

Twilight pulled out her phone and speed-dialed Celestia, placing the device to her ear. "Come on... Pick up, pick up, pick up, pick up, pick up..."

"Give her a minute, Twilight," Dash told her from the driver's seat as she drove her car towards the docks. "She's probably busy."

"This is sort of important, Dash," Twilight said, almost in a scolding tone. She then gasped and smiled. "Celestia! Sorry for the outburst, but we found out what caused the murder."

"WHAT caused the murder?" Asked Celestia, clearly wondering why Twilight was implying that a thing killed the colt.

"Yes. A succubus."

"A succubus? Are you positive?"

"I'm certain of it. The facts all add up. Victim had sex and was then torn apart. Succubi seduce their victims to gain energy from the semen and then eats them to satisfy their hunger. I'm telling you, we've got a succubus problem."

"If you are right, then this is very bad... Any ideas where it came from?"

"None. But, I have an idea on how to find it."

There was a slight pause on the other end. "How?" Celestia finally asked.

"This may sound rash, but I think we should recruit Chrysalis. She knows more about lust than anyone."

"That is exactly what I thought you were going to say..." The alicorn then sighed. "A Changeling would be useful against a succubus... Oh, dear..." There was another slight pause. "Alright, but... be careful... I will prepare everyone here for her arrival..."

"Thank you, ma'am," Twilight replied with a sigh, fearing Celestia would deny her request... but, also feeling a little worried.

Chrysalis may seem different but it was still Chrysalis. The unicorn then hung up and sighed. "All right, Dash... Continue on..."

"We're really going to get Chrysalis?" The cyan mare asked, wanting to triple-check their situtation.

Twilight nodded. "We're really gonna get Chrysalis..."
