Chapter Six:

Preparation and Determination

A large crowd of ponies were gathered in the center of Canterlot. In the front of the crowd were the pony soldiers. The pedestrians were gathered out side of the large crowd waiting to hear Celestia's speech.

Twilight Sparkle and Princess Luna got a great view of Celestia. Luna knew what her speech was going to be about. She didn't want to say what was going to be the plan because she hated it. But now in the situation everypony is in, it will have to be called for.

They were on a balcony above Celestia looking down on her, listening.

“My little ponies, today I gather you here for an important event. This will be the most crucial turning point in pony history ever. I gather you here, because I saw you ponies train everyday in the military court yard. You were specifically supposed to be trained to protect Canterlot against all evil. You were supposed to protect me your princess and my sister Luna; your other princess.

But now, I call you all to stand against our enemies we have seen here yesterday. I assume that you all know what we are dealing with am I right? It was kind of hard to miss because it was right outside all of our doorsteps. But why I really gathered you here today is for the fight against our enemies. My plan is to you either choose to go on the mission to confront and destroy the last of our enemies into unknown territory or you can stand here and defend the ponies from an overwhelming attack. The choice is yours my little ponies so choose wisely and let my sister's and my power be with you in battle. You all have one week to decide, after that, we will be waiting for you to join us. That is all you may go now.”

“Princess Luna, is this really going to happen?”

“Yes Twilight, it is, but I wish it wasn't.” Luna replied with a worried look on her face.

The huge doors opened to the vault on the side of the mountain with a squad of fighter planes ready to take off.

A unicorn was in front of them using his magic to wave glowing sticks at the fighters.

The squad of fighters took off and climbed up into the air. They circled Canterlot to make sure no enemies were going to attack Canterlot.

Tanks and transports were driving out of the vault and into the streets of Canterlot. They were preparing for the offense tactic. The tanks were slow but they were faster then the transports.

Artillery trucks were coming out next. Medium sized machines but were the slowest and the weakest but very effective at long range.

The military vehicles stopped at the edge of the city. Princess Celestia and Princess Luna were there giving their soldiers good luck.

One hundred thousand pony soldiers were marching through the streets of Canterlot to the transports. Gunships have lifted off and transported some of the soldiers to the transports but the others had to walk there.

Some pony citizens were a little scared to see huge machines driving through the streets. Especially the transports.

The transports were huge since they could transport about one hundred ponies not including the ponies that could on the top on the 10 machine gun turrets. The transports were about 14-15 feet tall and 30 feet long.

The pony soldiers got into their transports or assigned vehicles and they drove off into the unknown world.
