Chapter Five:

It's Not Over Yet!

The local pony fire department in Canterlot put out all fires throughout Canterlot. Twilight and Luna were smiling that it was over but were very tired due to the amount of magic that was drained from them. But Celestia wasn't smiling. She had a frown on her face.

“Princess, what's wrong? We won! You should be happy.”

“”No we didn't win Twilight. We didn't win. We just delayed their massive attack for a period of time. Who knows how long we have delayed them. As we speak they are beginning to plot another attack on Canterlot. We only have enough time for so long to ready ourselves.”

“I thought you said we teleported them to the other side of the planet Tia.”

“I did but they aren't going to be defeated that easily. We must prepare ourselves for the worst to come. Unless we act and we attack head on!”

“It sounds...doable but do we really have the technology to compete with theirs? I mean do we have guns that can knock out giant walking robots or huge creatures that come from under ground?”

“Possibly sis why don't we ready our soldiers and have them open the vault for the first time in years.”

“The vault?!”

“Princess what is the vault?”

“Its where we store all of our weapons and military vehicles. I never wanted to have it come to this but I knew one day it would. And it will cause lives on both sides of this war.”

“Where is the vault?”

“Follow me.”

Princess Luna and Twilight Sparkle walked with Celestia towards this old shack outside of Canterlot but was still on the mountain.

The three ponies walked inside the small shack and Celestia used her magic to press a button next to her. The door the shack closed and they heard a noise outside of them and they saw them sinking into the ground since they saw the door getting higher and higher until it was above them.

They rode the elevator down for about one minute and then the elevator came to a halt. The double doors opened slowly and Twilight saw a lot of high tech machinery like she was never used to seeing.

She say tanks lined evenly next to each other and helicopters lined evenly next to each other. Also fighter planes were lined up. The vault seemed to have run for ever into the mountain but it was actually more then one mile long.

“Princess this is the vault? I would think that it would be smaller then this.”

“Luna.”

“Yes Tia?”

“Tell the commander to ready the assault ponies.”

“Yes Celestia.”
