Author's note
Here we go, the final chapter of the fanmake and once it's done, so is one of my late Halloween fics. Hope you folks are excited.

 

Epilogue: Return of Equestria

 

"Megan? Megan?" A voice spoke up. Megan groans as he wakes up and open her eyes. She saw her friends with the girl smiling to her. Golden Heart, the one who spoke, exclaims, "You did it!"

"We did, didn't we?" Megan asks her friends with a smile as she was helped up to her feet.

"Yes...you did." A familiar voice spoke up. The group saw a familiar alicorn trotting over to them, alive and well. Some of them gasp as they saw it to be Celestia...no longer corrupted but is restored back to life

"Celestia."

"You did it, Megan." Celestia said with tears in her eyes while nuzzling Megan. "You have saved us all...revived the ones who were killed and even change me back to the way I was. I knew you would be the one who can use the Elements to do so."

"But I thought only the Element users can use them!" Sweetie exclaims, making Celestia smiles.

"True, but they were once the Rainbow of Light...which means Megan, as long as she got all the Elements in her heart, can use them as well. I saw the corruption overtaking me so I hid the Elements before I was consumed, hoping that someday that Megan can save us all."

Megan smiles a bit. Celestia is right, thanks to her, the Elements have restored all of Equestria and those who were killed all thanks to Tirek and the human girl's own darkness.

"Princess, everyone," A familiar voice exclaims. The group saw Twilight, Applejack, Fluttershy and Ben coming into the throne room.

"Mommy, daddy," Nyx exclaims, tears of joy came out of her eyes as she rush over to nuzzle her own parents. "You're alive, you're alive again!"

"I know, its okay, Nyx. We're back." Twilight said while nuzzling her daughter, Ben hugs Nyx. A family has been reunited.

"Applejack; Yer're not a robot no more!" Apple Bloom exclaims happily while nuzzling her sister.

"Eeyup an' Ah am ready 'ta buck some apples as a celebration feast!" Applejack exclaims with a smile.

"Don't forget to save them for my super duper 'Equestria is not corrupted and grim any more' party!" Pinkie exclaims while bouncing up and down. Then she saw Rainbow, feeling guilty about what she tried to do to her before. "Dashie...sorry about...I didn't mean to..."

"Awww, forget it, Pinkie Pie." Rainbow laughs while hugging Pinkie, giving her a noogie. "That wasn't you, just a ripoff. I'm glad you're alive and not wanting to do that anymore by the darkness."

Pinkie grins happily, excited that her friend has forgiven her. Fluttershy blinks to Pinkamena while asking, "I hope you don't mind me asking...are you Pinkie's twin sister?"

"Well, I could be...nah!" Pinkamena exclaims to Fluttershy confusing her a bit.

Celestia looks down to her student and her son, feeling miserable that she killed them before thanks to Tirek. The alicorn said softly and sadly, "Twilight, Ben...I'm sorry."

"For us; For killing us," Ben ask his mother, noticing her sadden face.

"I wasn't myself thanks to Tirek. I killed you both without a moment's thought! Oh, what kind of mother would do that to her own child? Or worst, what kind of..."

Suddenly Twilight and Ben hugs Celestia, interrupting her. The purple unicorn said happily, "We already forgive you. We knew you wouldn't kill us. We're glad to have you back."

"As are we," A familiar voice spoke up. Luna and Lorcan came into the room, alive while the dragon is back to normal.

"Luna! Lorcan," Scootaloo exclaims with a grin. "You're alive..."

"Yeah, we're both alive." Lorcan said with a chuckle, then rubs the back of his head while saying, "Megan, Rarity...sorry about what I said to you before, especially the others. I was angry and...Discord did something to me later and..."

"Hush. We already forgiven you, Lorcan darling." Rarity said with a chuckle then sighs. "I just wish that Spikey Wikey is here to celebrate with us..."

"Then consider your wish granted, my lady!" The familiar voice of Spike exclaims as the baby dragon came into the room with a smile. The others gasps in happiness and delight. Their friend is alive!

"Spike," Lorcan exclaims, tears in his eyes as he and Rarity rush over to hug Spike, being reunited with their no longer dead friend.

"Spikey-Wikey," Rarity exclaims while kissing Spike. "You're alive! I miss you so much!"

"Yeah, I miss you too. I feel like being in limbo after my death, where's it lonely and all that." Spike said with a smile to his true love.

Pinkie looks down sadly, remembering that she killed Spike earlier. The Earth pony said, "Spike...please forgive me for stomping on you! I should make myself into cupcakes for doing so and killing you and..."

"Pinkie, as far as I'm concerned, I forgive you and you weren't yourself; let's move on, please!"

"Okie dokie lokie!"

"Well, she didn't take long to recover, did she?" Rainbow jokes to her friends who laugh along with her.

"Hey, is this a private party or can any bot join in?" The familiar voice of Bumblebee spoke out as the Autobots came in, much to the happiness of the ponies, Megan and their friends, especially Nyx, "Nyx!"

"Bumble Bee." Nyx said as she jumps into Bumble Bee's arms. "I'm so happy you're back my BBBFF."

Celestia looked down, getting depressed once more, regretting what she did to the Autobots while under the influence of Tirek and the darkness. The alicorn spoke to her love, "I'm sorry for what I have done and what I have put you through. Can you ever forgive me?"

"Do not worry my love." Optimus assures Celestia as she held her hoof. "I knew it from the moment I last saw, I knew you weren't acting of your own free will."

"I can't hate you. You're my mother." Alpha Prime said.

Celestia wrap her wings around her son to hug him. Twilight turns to Ben while asking, "Feeling a bit worried?"

"To be honest, not really; I will just let mom have her own happiness. She needs it after what happened." Ben said to Twilight, nuzzling her a bit.

"Come on! Let's have that party! My treat," Pinkie exclaims happily and anxiously.

"Yeah, I want to party too, come on, please!" Pinkamena exclaims, giving cutesy eyes to Golden Heart.

"Oh brother and once again you give me those cute like eyes, Pinkamena." Golden Heart said uneasily, making the others laugh in amusement.

The Changelings look nervous. Ed spoke up, "Uh, Princess Celestia?"

"Hmm," Celestia ask, glancing at the Changelings and recalling them to be part of Chrysalis's Changelings army.

"What you gonna do with me and Ed here? I mean we did help the others save Equestria and all that crap." Fred said nervously to Celestia.

"Cut them some slack, Celestia." Luna said to her sister with a smile. "They did help us out..."

"Well, I do have one idea in mind." Celestia remarks, giving out one mischievous smirk.

"We have to help out in the party?!" Fred whines a bit as he and Ed assists Pinkie and Pinkamena out in their party back in Ponyville. Celestia insists on the two Changelings helping out.

"Well, at least we get to set up the camera." Ed said as he sets up the camera. "Too bad we have to time it."

"Oh, I am happy to see my old friends." Fluttershy said with a giggle while hugging her animal friends, especially Angel. "It's great that the nightmare is over."

"So what shall we do with the Elements, princess?" Twilight ask Celestia curiously.

"They shall go back to their previous place...until the next time they would be needed." Celestia explains to Twilight with a smile.

The princess is relieved to be welcomed back into Ponyville. The ponies learn the story of how the darkness took her over and forgave her. Granted, there are some who won't forgive so easily but the progress can be a bit slow.

Ratchet spoke up to Optimus, "Optimus, I just talk to Cybertron. Things have been quite except for two Decepticon attacks. But nothing was stolen and there were no casualties."

"That's good news." Optimus said with a nod.

Bulkhead then spoke up, "Well I think it's time for us to go home."

"Perhaps you're right. But me and Alpha will stay for a few more days; To spend some time with Celestia. The Council can handle Cybertron for a little longer."

"Can I stay too? I haven't seen Nyx for some time." Bumblebee requests to Optimus Prime hopefully. The Autobots leader glances to his friend, noticing how anxious he and Nyx are.

"Permission granted." Optimus said with a smile behind his metal mask. It would be a shame to separate Bumblebee and Nyx now.

"All right, ponies and everything else, get ready for the picture!" Ed calls out as he times the picture.

Megan stood along with the Mane Six, Ben Mare, Spike, the Cutie Mark Crusaders, Nyx, Celestia, Luna, Lorcan, Alpha Prime, Golden Heart, Pinkamena, the Autobots, the Flutterponies, Nexus, the Moochick, Derpy, Dinky Doo, Zecora, Shining, Cadance, and some ponies wanting to be in the shot, including two Royal Guards (no longer corrupted), Berry Punch, Caramel and more friends. The Changelings rush into the shot and trips a bit.

"Oh brother," Shining sighs a bit. The Mane Six gathers around Megan and hugs her, making the girl smile. Everyone did their poses as the picture was taken.

The picture is inside a familiar book on a page that said 'Happily Ever After' on the top. Below it are the words '"MEGAN, you did it! You've saved us!" And Megan did more than saved her friends...she has saved herself as well; The End'.'

"The end," Megan said with a smile as she looks up to the sky while leaving the asylum. With her sanity restored and the darkness gone, the doctors declare her fit to leave at last. True, Megan will be send to an orphanage to stay at and to work, but at least she isn't suffering much anymore.

Megan smiles as she saw a familiar cat waiting for her and picks the feline up. She smiles and left the asylum. The nightmare is now over...

But for Megan, her trip to dealing with her childhood tragedy lives on...

The Discord Staff is on the battlefield, long forgotten until some pony grabs it; Somepony with a four digit mechanical claw and a robotic laugh…
