Two more chapters left to go and this fanmake will finally be done for. It's a long road since Halloween but the time will finally be here to finish it. VISION-KING, I decided to use a bit of your earlier suggestion.

Chapter 13: The True Darkness

 

The group goes further into the throne room. Megan notices Nyx sobbing while looking down. The girl pets the little one while saying, "Nyx, we must go on. Your parents would want you to go on."

"I know, I know..." Nyx said while wiping her tears off her face. She stood up and glances to Megan who held the Discord Staff while Golden Heart held the Blunderbuss. "Grandma has gone too far. We got to kill her!"

The throne room looks a big Tartarus as the group enters. They saw someone waiting on her throne which is made out of pony bones. It's very beautiful female alicorn with long flowing light blue/green, and purple mane and tail, a golden tiara on her head, a golden collar with a jewel in the middle around her neck, and golden hooves. Her coat is normally white but she is now flaming orange with tentacles coming out of herself. She is Princess Celestia, the ruler of Equestria, Twilight's teacher, Cadance's aunt and Ben Mare's mother...the one who was destroying this world.

"Celestia..." Megan mumbles to her former friend and adopted daughter.

"Mother," Alpha Prime said as they walk to the evil alicorn, her face appears to be seemingly frozen (hell, she appears to be smiling). Celestia chuckles sinisterly to them.

"Who am I?"

"Time to die," Celestia exclaims madly. Suddenly she flew up as her face, which is a mask, fell off her, showing her face of madness.

Celestia, while appear to be floating, has a tentacle on her back lifting the alicorn while the ground around her breaks around. The group yelps as magic blasts fire at them.

"Yipes!" The Changelings exclaims as they dodge the attack.

"We got to take her out now!" Sweetie exclaims in alarm.

"But how," Apple Bloom ask Sweetie while dodging a tentacle.

"Time to use the Discord Staff," Megan exclaims as she fires a beam at the corrupted princess. Celestia screams in horror as she flew down, sending down a blast at her former friends and relatives.

Megan and her pals dodge her attacks. Celestia tries to grab one of them with a tentacle in hopes to grab them out of thin air. Pinkamena however cut the tentacle.

"Wow, how come she knows how to fight all of a sudden?" Rainbow asks her friends in surprise.

"Whadda mean?" Megan asks Rainbow a bit puzzled.

"Look out!" Golden Heart yells out as Celestia fires a missile at them. The alicorn quickly knocks the attack away in time then fires the Blunderbuss at Celestia, hurting her hard.

Celestia gloat, "And just what do YOU plan to do, Megan? You can't exactly use the Elements of Harmony against me and THAT'S the only magic powerful enough to stop me."

Megan comments, "Who said anything about magic, Celestia? All I need to beat you are brains and courage."

The ground shakes as spikes came out of the floor and are sent right at the group, who ran to dodge them. Nyx looks furiously as some of the spikes almost nick the Cutie Mark Crusaders.

"You...you bitch! YOU KILLED ALMOST MY WHOLE FAMILY! I SHOULD'VE LEFT YOU ON THE SUN!" Nyx exclaims to Celestia in fury at her former grandmother as the filly begins to glow. "IT'S ALL YOU'RE FAULT! I HATE YOU, I HATE YOU!!!"

Nyx flashes around and hits Celestia in all sides with her powers that came from out from out of nowhere. The corrupted princess groans then screams as Megan fires a blast with her staff.

Celestia screams as she fell to the floor as Megan and Nyx lands nearby. The group came to the corrupted on. Megan sighs, "Celestia..." Just then some white essence glow, coming to the girl as she smiles a bit. "Looks like I'm healed."

"Looks like Celestia is defeated." Rarity said in concern. "Looks like..."

Suddenly the group notices something: Celestia begins moving around and around...and suddenly she pulls right into the throne. They look a closer look and saw that it's really a mouth of a monster.

"Celestia," Megan gasps a bit.

"Wait, what the hay is that?" Rainbow assk a bit startled.

Soon the throne broke open as everyone fell to the floor. Soon they saw a creature spitting something out, glaring at them. Megan gasps as she saw it to be a creature unlike anything they had ever seen. The bottom was that of a pony; four legs, hooves, and a tail. The bottom half was covered with steel-grey fur, and where the Cutie Mark would be, there was a strange white arcane symbol. However, what was really disturbing was the top half. Stuck to where the head would be was a muscular torso that led up to shoulders with arms and hands. On top of the shoulder was a vile head, surrounding by almost a lion-like mane of steel-grey hair. Out of the hair extended dark-grey horns that curved skin of the torso, arms, and face was a reddish brown, and a metal breast and shoulder plate was worn by the creature. The monster looks like a centaur of legend...one thought to be destroyed centuries ago.

"Megan..." The creature growls to Megan evilly.

"Tirek," Megan gasps in shock and worry. It can't be but it's true. This monster is the same one she and her pony friends destroyed centuries ago...the lord of Midnight castle.

"Tirek," The Cutie Mark Crusaders gasps in surprise and worry.

"The monster of legend," Pinkamena ask in surprise. "But I thought he was dead."

"I was dead, foolish pony, but I waited all these centuries for revenge!" Tirek hisses evilly to the ponies. "I waited but I got my chance..."

"Of course, that explains everything!" Megan exclaims to Tirek angrily. "You were the one who corrupted Celestia, possessing her and making the princess do all this."

"Of course! These foolish ponies believe all these years that their princess has turned evilly, but it was me all along! This world was meant to be ruled by darkness and fear."

"You monster," Nyx cries out to Tirek in fury. The alicorn filly is now relieved that her grandmother is not the real evil but is furious that Tirek is the true cause of everything. "You possessed grandma! You made her hurt everypony I know and loved...even mommy and daddy!"

"Yes, but your friend Megan here got some credit." Tirek explains, giving an evil grin to Megan while startling her at the same time.

"What do you mean?" Golden Heart demands to Tirek with a frown.

"Well, some big darkness invaded this world not too long ago...one that I team up with to make this possible. But if you want to meet her, here you go!"

Tirek opens his mouth. Megan and her friends gasp as they saw what appears to be Pinkie's head in it. That pony then opens her mouth to reveal a horrifying sight: Megan's head!

"Oh crap! We are all screwed!" Fred yelps in worry.

"Is that...me?" Megan asks in surprise, getting a bit shaken up.

"Megan; that is your darkness," Alpha Prime explains to Megan in realization. "It invaded Equestria centuries after your tragedy...it took over Equestria and help Tirek corrupt mother."

"Leave now!" The creature spoke in a mixture of Megan's voice with that of Celestia's and Tirek's. "I rule Equestria alone! You will not interfere any longer! This world is for the grownups." The voice soon became warped, "Raw, well-ordered, ruthless, careening on the jagged edge of reality! Self-pitying dreamers like you are not wanted here, they cannot survive here!"

"Leave Megan alone," Ed exclaims to Tirek angrily.

"Yeah, stop being so mean to her!" Fred snaps to Tirek in agreement.

Tirek/Megan's darkness ignores the Changelings, shouting to Megan who begins to cry, "You are scared of the truth, you live in the shadows! Your pathetic attempts to reclaim your sanity have failed. Retreat to the safely of your self-delusions or risk total destruction! Destroy me and you will destroy yourself! But if you leave now, some hollow part of yourself may survive. Stay...and I will break you down! You will lose yourself forever!!"

"I...I..." Megan pauses then saw her friends looking at her friends. The girl frowns as she took out her Staff, snapping, "Shut up, Tirek! I do not care what you say or do to me now. I am not going to let words like yours affect me anymore! Everyone depends on us to stop you once and for all!"

"Wabout all those you failed to save, eh? Your friends...your family," Tirek taunts as he shows images of everyone that died during the adventure. But then Megan fires a blast at them, destroying the images.

"Not this time! Those who die would want me to move on...and kick your sorry flank back to Tartarus!!!"

"You know what Tirek, your number just came up." Pinkamena remarks creepily as she took her knives out, laughing madly.

The heroes smirk as they run to Tirek who pulls himself back into the hole. Megan and her friends find themselves in area where most of the planet looks destroyed. The monster roars, preparing for the final assault.

"Megan, get ready to face yourself." Golden Heart said to Megan sternly. "You must do so so you will end Tirek once and for all.

Tirek roars as everyone moves from one platform to the others. Rainbow calls out, "Move it!" The centaur fires a huge blast at the group who dodges it. The ponies and the Changelings assault the monster while Megan fires a beam from her staff.

"Everyone, keep it up!" Megan exclaims to her friends in determination.

Rainbow kicks at Tirek while Nyx uses her new found powers to hit the centaur in the table and tentacles, making him roar in pain. The filly's anger due to the lost of her loved ones is fueling her enough to help put an end to Tirek.

"Use 'de staff, hurry!" Apple Bloom calls out as she uses the Jacks to hit Tirek. "Yew don't wanna Celestia because Tirek's possessing her but we ain't got a choice here."

Megan nods as she rose the staff and aims at Tirek who tries to attack everyone. The girl aims creatures then fires a full blast at the centaur who screams as the attack hits him. The heroes perform the same tactic as Megan kept getting more Essence, firing each round.

Tirek appears to be getting more weak but he appears to be getting better. The centaur fires a rainbow blast at Megan's allies, knocking them down. Pinkamena exclaims, "Whoa!"

"I don't know if..." Megan begins to hesitate. No matter how many blasts she gave her, Tirek came back, more stronger than ever.

"Please, Megan..." A familiar voice came out of Tirek, making Megan gasp in surprise.

"C-Celestia?"

"Use the Elements...destroy Tirek."

"But I don't know where the Elements are!" Megan exclaims to Celestia as her friends look at her in concern. How will the girl uses the Elements if she doesn't know where they are.

"Summon them...I hid them before I became corrupted. Only the original owner of the Rainbow of Light came do so." Celestia's voice explains to Megan, the girl looks silence. "I know you don't want to destroy me, you will be losing the last of your family. But please...let go. Destroy me to destroy Tirek..."

Suddenly Tirek shakes a bit while roaring normally as he takes back control, "Nothing you can say will save you now, Celestia! I am in charge of this world now..."

"No, no, you're not...I won't let you harm anyone, anymore!" Megan snaps in determination as he holds out the hands, "ELEMENTS!!! COME FORTH!!!"

Suddenly a flash appears, almost blinding Tirek. Everyone else gasps as six trinkets of power appear, going to Megan. They watch as the items strapped themselves to the girl...the Elements of Harmony has been summoned.

"The Elements of Harmony," Rainbow and Rarity exclaims in surprise and amazement.

"Whoa!" The Changelings exclaims in amazement.

"No, it's impossible!" Tirek exclaims in horror as Megan, now wearing the Elements of Harmony while holding the Discord. "You can't use the Elements! And don't you know what happens when the Discord Staff comes in contact with them?! Never mix things that keep things in harmony with something that causes disharmony!"

"Doesn't matter; we are all in agreement...Celestia, I'm sorry. Goodbye." Megan said, saying the last part softly. The Elements glow as they and the Discord Staff fires a huge blast at Tirek.

Tirek roars as the blasts hit him, causing him to glow in a huge explosion. A familiar voice calls out, "Thank you, Megan..."

The magic goes into a crazy overtime, effecting everything; The Space around them, the Time that has pass, even Reality that has shaped itself to the present, all ends up becoming a chaotic mess before..."Zoop!" The light shrinks down like a star about to go out, and implodes like a supernova, flashing its unstoppable magical force all around.

Suddenly the fire and stone stone flashes, changing into a familiar grassy plain. Three familiar ponies wake up, alive and well. Spitfire exclaims, "Whoa! What happened?"

Luna looks around and gasps as she saw Lorcan, "Lorcan!"

"Luna." Lorcan said as the two lovers hug each other. "You're alive...and so am I."

"I know. They did it. They must've stopped my sister...or whoever is responsible."

"Luna...I'm...I'm sorry...I..."

Luna smiles as she kisses Lorcan, saying softly, "It isn't you who've done those terrible things. It was Discord and something. It was never you."

"We are all alive! But what happened to our friends...and Celestia?" Spitfire asks her friends in amazement and concern.

Equestria begins to be restored back to normal, with town and cities being rebuilt and flowers and grass growing back. In the Flutter Province, the Flutterponies and former corrupted ponies are restored, waking up.

"Where am I?" Nexus ask in surprise, looking around. He saw Queen Rosedust and Morning Glory coming. The unicorn gasps, remembering what he has done under the influence of darkness, and bows, "Queen Rosedust! I...I'm..."

"It's okay. You weren't yourself." Morning Glory said to Nexus with a smile of assurance on her face.

"What matters is that our world is safe again...thanks to Megan." Queen Rosedust said with a happy giggle.

In the woods where Spike was killed, the dragon, normal size, coughs and woke up while mumbling, "Man, where am I?" Spike looks around then smiles. "Megan, Rarity, thanks...I better get to Canterlot."

In Ponyville, the whole place is restored to normal as is the ponies who cheer in happiness. Zecora looks around, smiling as he said, "Megan, friends, thank you."

At Canterlot, all of it begins to be restored to normal as the Moochick smiles while saying, "Megan, you did it. Thank you."

In front of the former corrupted throne room, two familiar ponies woke up, Twilight's head back on. The purple unicorn gasps in amazement and happiness, "Ben, are we..."

"We're alive. They did it." Ben said with a smile while hugging and kissing his true love. "Megan and her friends had destroyed the true monster. All of Equestria is saved!"

"Yeehaw, there yew are!" A familiar voice exclaims. The two turn to see three of their friends galloping towards them. It's Applejack, Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie; the first two are back to normal while the last one is alive and no longer mad (no more to the point of killing).

"You three are back to normal and alive!" Twilight exclaims while nuzzling her friends. "Pinkie, you're back to your cheerful and nice self again!"

"Yay! I don't wanna make ponies into cupcakes anymore!" Pinkie exclaims happily while bouncing up and down. "This calls for a party!"

"Pinkie Pie, you are so random like Rainbow said."

In front of the palace, the statues begin to change, restoring the Autobots back to normal. Optimus Prime gasps as he exclaims, "We're back to normal! Equestria is saved..."

"But what about the others; the ones who saved us all," Bumblebee ask his fellow Autobots in concern. "What happened to them?"

All right! Tirek has been destroyed and Equestria is restored, everyone who was killed is restored back to normal. The final chapter is coming up so read, review and suggest.
