Chapter 7: A Difficult Choice

The gang got to work as they begin motioning the drivers to drive slowly. As the song "Shut Up and Drive" plays, Gwen and Trent ends up hitting Heavy's knees, causing him to yelp and hop while clenching them in pain. Some of the others chuckle in amusement by that.

I've been looking for a driver who's qualified

Heavy and DJ are behind the drivers, motioning them to continue. Of course, the drivers ends up reversing, hitting the poor two and knocking them to the ground. The drivers tried once more, only to accidentally ram them again. Ouch.

I'm a fine-tuned supersonic speed machine
With a sunroof top and a gangsta lean

The injured ones hid behind the stalagmites in hopes to avoid getting hurt hard. The drivers zooms a bit, looks like everything is doing fine...until Gwen hit a big stalagmite, causing it to break and hit Heavy and DJ once more, causing them both to scream in pain.

The Freelance Police and Heavy helped the racers in maneuvering the fake cones. For a moment, looks like they won't get hurt again.

So start me up and watch me go, go, go, go

The racers smiles on, they are actually learning how to drive here! They look at their friends who motions them to go ahead. Gwen, Mike and Zoey didn't waste time in pushing their start buttons. Heavy and the Freelance Police run a bit before letting go. The trio and the ones not racing watch the ones who are...turning too quickly and hitting a chocolate chip. Gwen spits out a tooth and smiles, holding up a thumbs up to assure them that she's okay!

Hoagie and Stitch took some time off to watch some TV with another clip from "My Little Heroines" which is the final battle against Beetlejuice himself.

"Great job, Blossom. And not a moment too soon." Obi-Wan said, smiling to see Blossom and her friends are here.

"Yeah, we, Snow White, Captain Ferdinand, the Justice League and the Avengers all working together managed to just EQUAL his power." Anakin explains with a nod. "Unfortunately, during the battle, well nobody got killed but the Justice League and the Avengers got pretty badly banged up and Snow White and Captain Ferdinand were just too exhausted to continue."

"Well, it took a while to get the others back to normal, but we did it. And now it's time to finish the fight." Blossom said, preparing to end this madness once and for all.

"Yes. Finish the fight together." Obi-Wan said in agreement. This time, no holding back!

As the Main Seven, Obi Wan and Anakin all stand against Beetlejuice, the villain smirks in amusement as he taunts Blossom, "So, Blossy, back for another pathetic try?"

"Another try, yes. Pathetic, no." Blossom said in determination.

"We're back to normal now. Your shenanigans couldn't wreck our friendship for long." Kim said in agreement. BJ got the girls' guard down the last time. Not this time.

"Stop lying to me, Kimmie. I'm the one who taught you how." Beetlejuice remarks, rolling his eyes at this. Is Kim trying to lie to him? Suddenly the Main Seven all start firing off blasts from their Elements, with Beetlejuice barely dodging a few Harmony blasts. "Yikes! Okay, so you're NOT lying." The Ghost with the Most starts pulling the Element Bears toward him, but Blossom, Shirley, Obi-Wan and Anakin all combine their power to teleport the group to relative safety and manage to get a protective field up.

"Friendship is not always easy, but it IS always worth fighting for!" Blossom exclaims in defiance to the villain.

"Well said, Blossom." Obi-Wan said proudly to his student.

"Okay, shift it." Heavy said to the racers who shifts the gears, "Right!" Keep going and shift it again!"

Cos I'm zero to sixty in three point five

As the drivers zoom through the area, they laugh in glee. Gwen, Mike and Zoey are finally learning how to drive! They could race after all!

"Told ya racing is in my code!" Gwen calls out to her friends with glee.

The gears shifts some more as the racers zoomed through the area. The ones watching laughing in amusement.

"Ja, we're going to get that medal." Heavy said with a light chuckle. If Gwen and her pals keep this up, the medal will be recovered in no time!

"This is awesome!" Mike exclaims excitedly as he keeps on moving his car around.

"I know!" Zoey exclaims with a squealy voice.

"Hey, Heavy, watch this!" Gwen calls out to her friend with a smirk.

So start me up and watch me go, go, go, go

Once the gears shift, Gwen zooms off the road and crashes right through a gate that is near some bridge that wasn't finished yet, shouting with joy. The girl is enjoying herself!

Upon spotting the unfinished bridge, Gwen gave out a smirk as she sharply head towards the broken keys. The ones watching this looks alarmed. Is she crazy?!

Cos I'm zero to sixty in three point five
Baby you got the keys-

The ones not driving gasps in horror as they saw Gwen trying to jump the bridge, glitching with her car...and she is heading right to the Mentos!

"LOOK OUT!" Everyone else calls out to Gwen in horror.

Gwen saw where she's heading, causing her to duck in time. Her car ends up hitting some of the Mentos before the driver crashes right onto the ground.

Heavy's group yelps in alarm as they run off as Mentos fell right into the cola, causing more of the lava-like cola to splash around a bit like mad.

"Hot cola, gah!" Heavy screams out in terror as he and the others dodges the cola.

As the song comes to an end, the racers came back to Heavy's group who has recovered from the madness that they've endured.

Now shut up and drive

"So...how did I do?" Gwen ask with a smile as she turns to her pals. They can see that her hair is a bit messed up. Gwen sure went through some hard racing today!

"Well...you almost blew up the whole mountain." Heavy admits to Gwen. Another Mentos fell, making a bit of lava and causing some of the others to yelp. "Ja."

"Right, so that's a good note."

"And us?" Zoey ask the others with a smile.

"You guys are ready and so am I." Trent said with a smile of satisfaction. "I just hope Hoagie and Stitch are ready for this race."

"Ih, as long as weega drove fast, we can kick some butt!" Stitch exclaims with a smile.

"Right, we sure drive fast, enough to go above and under the speed limit!" Hoagie explains eagerly as he rubs his hands excitedly. Nothing will stop the heroes from winning the race and recovering that medal!

"But you've better get that glitch under control, Gwen." Heavy said to Gwen with a frown. He's worried that her glitch like status would be a problem in the race.

"Right, if you do so, you may use your new powers to your advantage." DJ said to Gwen, being a bit wise for someone who is somewhat of a coward.

"Okay, fine, I will." Gwen remarks with a sigh. "So, and then you guys think I got a chance?"

Heavy ponders a bit, then made a motions while answering Gwen's question, "Eh, tiny." This made Gwen hops around excitedly. Even to her "tiny" means a chance for her!

"Yes! I'm going to win, I'm going to win, I'm going to win; I'm going to win!"

"Top shelf!" Hoagie laughs as he held out a fist, causing everyone else to bump it.

"Top shelf!" Everyone else exclaims in determination.

"Yay! Weega are going to win and eats lots of candies!" Stitch exclaims excitedly.

"Best of all, nothing bad will happen now!"

Unknown to everyone, however, an evil plan is about to get under way as the cops drove towards the palace. They know that their king isn't going to be happy with what they're going to tell him.

Inside, Myx paces in worry as Chef Hatchet frowns while fanning him with a lollypop. The king tries to keep his mind off the problems by checking out his TV which is show "Clue: MLP Style".

"Well, I'm not going to wait around for my secret to be exposed." Spike said in concern, knowing of what he must do now to keep Cadance from exposing him.

"What do you mean?" Photo Finish ask Spike puzzled.

"Well, I work directly for the Princesses and, well, I'm non-straight."

Most of everyone looks shocked and a bit disgusted by the confession, especially Cadance who scoffs as she looks through her papers for the information about that.

"Really? You're not just making that up." Upper Crush said, arching an eyebrow at this.

"Well, it's not that surprising considering the number of fics depicting the one who hatched you as non-straight." Doctor Lizardo jokes at this, despite annoyed glare from Boris.

Spike adds, "The Princesses themselves already know, but nobody else - well, other than the one who is blackmailing me. I feel no personal guilt or shame, but I still have to keep it a secret for security reasons."

Just then, in reality, the doors in the throne room opens. The officers looks depressed as their heads lay low while holding their helmets. Myx gasps in worry, fearing the worst.

"Well? Did you find her? Tell me you found her." Myx spoke up urgently. The guards shake their heads at this. "Wait, you didn't? And the Users?" The officers shake their heads once more, causing the king to laugh hopelessly in worry. "Oh no. Hee hee. Go, leave me, now."

Sam and Lightning yelps as they leave the room. Once they closed the castle doors, Chef Hatchet groans, "Face it. The whole game had been searched and there isn't any sign of them! It's hopeless, we may as well give up now!"

Myx pauses as his brow rose up as he looks in determination. Desperate times called for desperate measures, so the king rushed out of the room, causing Chef Hatchet to follow, fanning Myx who went behind a curtain.

The two goes through a pair of automatic doors while entering a wired looking area. This is the one place that only Myx and Chef Hatchet knew that is a doorway that goes further into the game itself. As the king marched inside, his henchmen peeks as he took out a piece of paper.

Chef Hatchet looks worried, Myx would never come in here unless he's very desperate. And the last time he did...was a big nasty move on Total Drama Rush itself. The assistant glances at the glowing wires then quickly follows Myx.

The two soon arrives at a NES controller which is the password thing to get into the heart of the candy. Myx press the buttons while reading the code off to himself, "Up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, B, A, start."

Once Myx is done, Chef Hatchet tied his king up with some rope while the door opens up. Myx enters some sort of strange chamber, which is the code, the sweet life blood of the game.

"Ah, the code. The sweet life blood of the game." Myx said with a cruel grin. The king swim to boxes of a sort which all glowed while having wires on them. The imp got to work on looking through the boxes, each one is for each part of the game. "Where are you? Stadium, nah; Jumbotron, no, it's..."

Myx gasps, finding what he's looking for, "Aha ha! The Winner's Cup! Yes!" Indeed, the king found a glowing box which is marked "Winner's Cup" and taps it, which shows some boxes which has the words labeled "Medals". He spins them around. "One of these things are not like the others."

Myx finally found Heavy's medal and the golden ball, taking them while laughing, "It's you! We're going to give you all a nice new home."

Myx proceeds in going up to a big box which is marked with his own name on it, along with his icon. After tapping it, Myx opens the box that shows many programs inside. The king smirks devilishly as he put the two icons inside the glow before they were instantly glowing and attached to the box. Soon, Myx saw a familiar medal around his own neck with a familiar golden ball.

"Success, yes, ha ha ha!" Myx exclaims in success. He then pulls the rope, signaling Chef Hatchet to pull him back to safely. "Chef, I'm going out! You're in charge of the castle until I get back."

"Fine, so what happened if anyone comes looking for Heavy and the Users?" Chef Hatchet ask his king with a frown.

"Deal with it!"

The door is closed, sealing off the room. Nearby are a couple of unattached boxes which are marked "Gwen", "Mike", and "Zoey". They appears twitching and in the emptiness of space...as if for some time now....

Once Hiccup and Wander was able to get the pod fixed, the newcomers flew through the game to continue their search for Heavy, the Freelance Police, Sev and Scorch. Astrid was looking at the radar for any signs of the Heartless.

"This is hopeless, we won't find that Heartless in time!" Pleakley explains in worry.

"Relax, sibling. It won't hatch unless someone touched the egg." Fixer assures Pleakley, but pauses to think a bit. "Of course, I may have a guess that may happened."

Astrid notes Hiccup blushing and smiling at her. The girl sighs, "I think your face is still red. You may wanna hit it with Wander's hammer."

"Oh, that isn't blunt force trauma, madam." Wander said with a light chuckle. "That's the honey glow in his cheeks."

"Oh."

"Yeah, he's right. You're cute when you're like this." Hiccup said to Astrid with a light chuckle.

"And Sylvia is not so bad either." Wander comments to Sylvia. This causes the dinosaur to look surprised, blushing as well.

"Well, hey, thanks." Sylvia said with a chuckle. "No one ever said that to me again."

"Well, while we look for the Heartless, how about we go looking for our pals too?" Numbuh 5 suggests as she looks down for any signs of her friends.

"Right, don't forget, we are here to find them too." Angelilo reminds Astrid and Sylvia of another reason why they're all here: to look for their missing friends.

"Yeah, we haven't forgotten." Sylvia assures Angelilo with a nod.

"And I see some weird imp guy that looks like he isn't from this game." Numbuh 3 said happily as she spots someone driving on the road below. "Hey!"

"No time to chit chat with the locals!" Astrid snaps to Numbuh 3 as she covers her mouth. "We got a Heartless to find and your friends and my soldiers to recover, and maybe that big ugly guy to punish."

"Well I gotta tell you..." Hiccup said to Astrid with a smile on her face. "You're one dynamite gal."

Upon hearing, Astrid gasps in horror as memories of her past came flashing back.

Flashback

In a memory, Casper and Astrid are at a gun shooting range. The man watches the woman fires round in her cubicle. He then turns towards her, saying, "You are one dynamite gal."

In a café, the lovers are sharing a sundae together. Casper sighs, "You are one dynamite gal."

-------------

"Dynamite gal." Casper said as the lovers are having a picnic together. It looks like nothing will ever tear them apart.

-----------

"Dynamite gal." Casper said as he proposes to Astrid, making her happily accept.

------------

"Dynamite gal..." Casper said on the big day of the lovers' wedding...until that Heartless bursts in, causing the two lovers to scream in terror.

End Flashback

"Wait, Astrid, calm down, calm down!" Sylvia exclaims in worry, sensing that Astrid is about to freak out and is trying to calm her friend down.

Too late. Astrid screams in terror as she ends up doing a barrel roll. Everyone screams in alarm while the others tries their best to hang on with their lives. And as if that isn't bad enough, one of the windows is still broken, causing the User groups to fell right out of it.

Fortunately, some candy broke their fall, causing the Users to land right on the ground below. Numbuh 4 spits some out while scowling, "Ugh! Man! I really hate this game!"

"Hey, what's this?" Someone in a car asked as he came to a stop. The driver, known as Myx, spots the group who are recovering from the fall.

"Just some folks looking for a fat boy, an alien, two soldiers, and Heavy." Numbuh 5 explains with a sigh. Needless to say, this causes Myx to gasps in shock and alarm.

"Wait, Heavy?! I take it you know that guy and his friends?!"

"And who are you supposed to be, ugly?" Numbuh 4 snaps at Myx with a frown. "Gilbert Gottfried."

"I am King Mxyzplk, the king of this world...and you will tell me what you know of Heavy's friends!" Myx exclaims furiously to the newcomers. These must be users, it's the only explanation.

"Oh, evil genius doesn't know much about soldiers, but the others are fat human boy and Experiment 626." Jumbaa explains with a shrug, but yelps as Myx made his big cannon comes out. "Hoo boy."

"Come with me or I'll blast ya!" Myx demands to the group wickedly. "I got plans for you."

"And what if we say no?!" Angelilo demands. She isn't going to be imitated by this freaky king who is up to something that involves Heavy, Hoagie and Stitch!

Myx presses another button, causing rope to be send out of his cart and being tied around the group. Pleakley gulps in worry, "Oh, that what if."

The pod finally came to a big landing. Astrid glares angrily at Hiccup and Wander as she demands, "Get out; get out the both of you!!!"

"Why? All he said that you're a dynamite gal!" Wander exclaims in worry and concern, wondering what Astrid said that set her off.

"I SAID GET OUT NOW!!!"

Hiccup, worried and heartbroken, got out of the escape pod. He can't believe it, his chance at love and he blew it.

"Yeah, you will have to leave too, Wander." Sylvia said to Wander in concern. "Astrid gets upset when anyone said those words around her, reminds her of her dead lover. You may not want to be around us right now."

Wander looks shocked but nod sadly in understanding as he got out of the escape pod as well. Sylvia is asking him to leave to avoid upsetting Astrid further.

"Sirs, I'll stay with them just as added security, and if I spot the Heartless, I'll radio you." Boss said also getting out of the ship. "Fixer, stay with the commanders"

"Got it, sir." Fixer said nodding and remains seated.

Once the ship hatch closes, it departs, leaving the trio behind. Boss notes how depressed Hiccup and Wander are right now. Their loves has rejected them big time.

"Oh Jimminy jamminy..." Hiccup said sadly as he and Wander slowly heads off to the castle. Perhaps someone could've seen where Heavy, Hoagie, Stitch, Sev and Scorch are at.

"Boys, it's all right. Give the commander some time. Astrid will calm down." Boss said calmly to the two as he follows them to the castle.

"You should talk. You haven't been rejected by someone you wanted to be with even though I just met her."

"Well, okay, that's true."

Inside the ship, Sylvia tries to speak, "Uh, Astrid?"

Astrid was silent, still sitting at the controls. Sylvia then noticed a tear sliding down the girl's cheek.

"It's okay." Sylvia said as she puts a hand on Astrid's shoulder.

A while later, the group reaches the castle door that has a candy door mat marked "Welcome". Wander sighs as he knocks on the door, the ones with hats removed them as it opens up.

"Yeah?" Chef Hatchet ask as he glares at the newcomers.

"Hey, sir. My name is Hiccup, from the game "Fix It Hiccup and Wander"." Hiccup said, introducing himself to Chef Hatchet while trying his best to be polite.

"Yeah, I'm Wander from the same game, and this is Boss." Wander said as he introduces himself and Boss.

"I ain't interested in buying anything!" Chef Hatchet snaps at the newcomers in annoyance.

"Oh, we aren't selling anything. We're wondering if you had seen our pal Heavy?"

"Wait, as in "Wreck It Heavy"?"

"Yes, that's him." Hiccup said to Chef Hatchet with a smile. Looks like he has seen Heavy after all!

"Ugh! Why didn't the king locked that big jerk when he had the chance?" Chef Hatchet ask upset, still recalling the trouble that Heavy have caused.

"Locked him up? What did he do?"

"He, along with two other Users are causing trouble in Total Drama Rush."

"Oh, you must mean Hoagie and Stitch!" Wander exclaims with a smile to Chef Hatchet. "We're looking for them too!"

"And I'm looking for two troops one with yellow highlights and another in red." Boss told Chef explaining why he's here.

"Oh, so you mean those other two soldiers with them! They are supposed to be locked up!" Chef Hatchet remarks, narrowing his eyes as he grabs a handle nearby. "And no way am I making the same mistake with you three!"

Before the three could react, Chef Hatchet pulls the handle. A trap door opens up beneath Hiccup's group, causing them to yell as they fell in. The assistant peeks at the hole which closes back up.

That will hold the three for a while.

The gang laughs as they leave Mt. Chrismore with Heavy, Hoagie and Stitch pushing the carts out. Gwen and her pals are now trained, knowing how to race.

"Come on, time is wasting, come on, Heavy!" Gwen exclaims excitedly.

"Wow, I'm excited that we took our time." Trent said with a grin while nodding.

"Ih! Stitch can't wait to race! Plus, it's 2 in the morning and none of us are even tired!" Stitch exclaims excitedly. He pauses a bit, adding, "Why is that?"

"I'm guessing we got big health, little buddy." Hoagie admits to his partner with a smile.

"This is it, this is really happening! I almost don't believe it!" Gwen exclaims, glitching a bit. "Oh, I have dreamt about it for so long and now...oh, I think I'm going to puke...well, I think I might. You know, like a verp?"

"What?" Some of the others asks, puzzled by what Gwen just said.

"Don't ask."

"Well, looks like you will finish the race with your boyfriend." Hoagie said, chuckling as he nudges Trent who blushes a bit like mad.

"Come on, stop, it isn't like that!" Trent protests as he blushes a bit.

"Wow, this is so exciting!" Gwen exclaims with a happy smile, applauding a bit.

"Ja, it is. It is very exciting!" Heavy exclaims as he nods to his friend. The big man knows how excited Gwen is about finally getting to race after all this time of being denied.

"Best of all, we will be in the stands rooting for you." Scorch said to Gwen with a smile.

"Yeah, am I ready to be a real racer? Wait, Heavy? What if the gamers don't like me?!" Gwen ask Heavy, getting nervous. She is worried of how the players will react to someone like her.

"Aww, who doesn't love a Goth girl with dirty hair?" Heavy ask Gwen with a chuckle. Despite the assuration, she just looks down in doubt.

"Come on, I'm sure folks will like you, no matter what." Mike said to Gwen, cheering his pal up.

"Yeah, who knows? They may be real nice to you." Zoey said, agreeing with her boyfriend.

"Ja, they're right. Those people? They will love you, as well as Mike and Zoey, and as well as Trent." Heavy said, assuring Gwen once more. "Why? Because you're a winner."

"I'm a winner." Gwen said with a smile.

"And you're adorable!" Sev exclaims to the racers eagerly.

"I'm adorable." Mike and Zoey said excitedly, getting all hyped up.

"And everyone loves an adorable winner!" Hoagie exclaims with a smile.

"Yeah!" The racers exclaims as they threw their fists into the air. Their new friends couldn't help but smile. That is enough to give them the confidence needed.

"Now listen, if any of you get nervous, just keep telling yourselves: "I must win Heavy's medal or his life will be ruined"." Heavy said, reminding Gwen's group as to the deal in place. "Otherwise? Have fun. Got it?"

"Got it." Gwen said as she and her pals hop into their carts.

"Listen, Stitch and I will go out to make sure that Myx and his pals aren't around." Hoagie said as he and Stitch got into a cart of their own.

"Ih, be right back!" Stitch calls out as the Freelance Police leaves the area to search for any signs of Myx or any of his goons.

Before the other cars took off, the racers just remembered something, causing Mike to exclaims, "Whoa, I just remembered something!"

"Oh yeah, how could we be so stupid?" Zoey ask, slapping herself on the forehead as she remembers what the others were going to do.

"Wait, hang on." Gwen said as she steps on the brakes. The racers got out of their race carts as they rush back to their hideout. "Hold on!"

"Right, can't believe we almost forgot." Trent said with a smile. "Don't move, okay?"

"Where are you going?" Heavy ask puzzled as the four racers dashed off.

"Like we said, we forgot something. Be right back!" Gwen calls as the four racers heads into the mountain to get what it is that they've forgotten.

"We will follow and make sure they get it." Sev said with a chuckle as he heads into the mountain. "Come on, Scorch."

"Right, sir." Scorch said with a nod as the two soldier heads into the mountain after the racers.

"Ah, kids..." Heavy said with a light chuckle. DJ nods while smiling. Looks like everything is going to be okay.

That is until the duo hears a car engine along with a horn honking. They saw a familiar cart heading their way as the driver, Myx, waves while exclaiming, "Heavy, DJ; Ha ha ha, there you are! Hello!"

Myx hops out, preparing to speak but Heavy just frowns, growling, "You!"

"Wait, wait; hang on. I came alone. Unarmed." Myx insists with a nod. The guy yelps as a piece of a big cherry was tossed right at him by DJ. "Whoa, hey!"

"Got enough of you, big head!"

"Right, get away from us and our friends!" DJ exclaims furiously. He can't believe that Myx was even called king in the first place!

Heavy opens fires at Myx who moves around, dashing towards the big gumdrop. The king taunt, "Those $200 bullets aren't so hot when they don't hit anything, are they?" Myx yelps as a shot almost connects. "Now, calm down, calm down!"

Myx frantically tries to go around the gumdrop, only for Heavy and DJ to block him. As the big man lifts the thing up, he snaps, "We're going to beat the filling out of you!"

Myx backs away and put on a pair of fake glasses. He quickly exclaims, "Now, you wouldn't hit a guy with glasses, would ya?" Heavy frowns as he grabs the glasses then hit the king over the head with them. As Myx takes the glasses back, he groans, "Okay, you hit a guy WITH glasses. Yeah, saw what you did there."

DJ comment, "When we get through with you, Myx, you're going to wish you stayed in the Fifth Dimension."

"How in the world did you get that idea?!"

"Lucky guess!"

Heavy then picks up the king then pinned him to the sprinkled donut area. The villains demands, "All right, Myx, what do you want?"

"Now now, I just want to talk to you." Myx insists innocently to the angry Heavy, assuring that he wants to talk instead of assault.

"Non! Heavy isn't interested in what you have to say!"

"And I agree! You have been terrible to Gwen and her friends and the Users too!" DJ exclaims sternly to Myx. "Go ahead and have your guards locked me up. You don't deserved any respect from me! So why should we listen?"

"Look, how about this? Are you interesting in these?" Myx ask innocently as he took something out: a familiar medal and golden ball.

"What the...?! Are those..."

"My medal!" Heavy gasps as he drops Myx to the ground, stunned to see his medal. "How did you..."

"Look, it doesn't matter how I got it or the golden ball. They are yours, go ahead. You can take them." Myx said with a smile, much to the duo's concern. They thought that the medal itself is gone forever and the king is offering it to Heavy?

"Whoa..."

"Just on one condition: please hear me out."

"About what?" Heavy ask Myx, frowning. Whatever the king has to say, may have something to do with Gwen, Trent, Mike and Zoey!

"Yeah, look, we didn't earned the items, we want to wait until the race is over." DJ said in concern and suspicion to the so-called king. "What gives you the idea that we will take the medal and golden ball back just like that, huh?"

"DJ, please listen. Do you know what the hardest part of being a king is? It's doing the ring thing, that's what." Myx explains to the two with a sigh.

"Ja, get to the point." Heavy demands impatiently to the imp.

"Point is, I need your help as well as DJ. As sad as this may sound, Gwen and her pals can't be allowed to race."

"What's the big deal?!" DJ asks in annoyance. "Why are you heck bend on not allowing Gwen, Mike, Zoey and Trent to race? They have their hearts set on doing so!"

"It's not that I hate them, heck no! I'm trying to protect them all and...well you wouldn't understand." Myx said, looking away as if explaining the next part is too difficult and hard for Heavy and DJ to understand.

"Wait, understand what?" Heavy ask Myx. The big villain is now concerned, wondering what the king is trying to say here.

"Look, think about this, why don't ya? You know what would happened if Gwen, Mike and/or Zoey were to win that race? They would be added to the Race Roster for tomorrow!"

Dream Sequence

In a dream sequence, it show the kids as avatars on the consoles with Gwen being chosen as a racer. Myx narrates this, "It means that the gamers will chose either of them as their avatar. However, once they see her, Mike or Zoey glitching, twitching, just being themselves..."

The kids are show glitching over the tracks like mad, concerning the humans in the dream sequence.

"...well, the Users will think something is wrong with our game and declare it broken."

Soon an Out of Order sign is slapped onto the consoles, as a result of the "glitches" in the game.

"We will be put out of order for good."

Inside the game, the subjects, with the game being unplugged, rush into Game Central Station for safety.

"All my subjects will be homeless. Unfortunately, three cannot escape, because they're glitches."

Gwen, Mike and Zoey tried to escaped, but they can't leave their game. Soon they scream while being suck right into the vortex, "NO! NOOOOO! SAVE US! SOMEONE HELP, PLEASE!"

"And when the game is plugged...well, they will do along with it."

End Dream Sequence

Heavy and DJ looks horrified. They didn't realize about the possibility. If Gwen or any of her friends were to race and win, the game will be risked being unplugged and Gwen and her pals will be gone.

"No...but what about Trent?" DJ ask in worry and concerned, remembering that Trent isn't a glitch.

"Oh, I hate for him to see what he would do if anything were to happen to his Gwen." Myx said with a sigh, shaking his head. It seems that the king fears what Trent may make himself do should anything happens to his love.

"No, not good! We can't let them be on the roster, Heavy! They gotta forfeit!"

"Wait, what about Hoagie and Stitch?" Heavy ask in concern, remembering that Hoagie and Stitch are Users, therefore won't be effected much by this.

"Well, they're Users, right? We don't know what happened if Users are sucked into oblivion. May not be pretty." Myx said with a sad nod. "Look, DJ, I am a jerk sometimes, yes, but even I gotta make hard choices. Haven't you made any hard choices that will make you regret forever?"

"Well, besides what the real me did and..."

"Then you two must do the right choice."

"Well, wait, you don't know if that will happen." Heavy said to Myx, trying to refuse that this possibility would happen but most of himself is caving in to that. "The Users, they may love her."

"And what if they don't, huh? What then?" Myx points out to Heavy who looks at his medal and the golden ball in concern. "Listen, it's tough. But heroes have to make the tough choices, don't they?"

"And...what about Hoagie and Stitch? They aren't here."

"Relax, I will make sure to find them and tell them about the problem. As far as Gwen and her friends are concerned...well, neither of them will listen to me. So can I count on you both to talk a little sense into them?" Myx ask with a hopeful look. Heavy and DJ pauses to think, then sadly gave a small painful nod. They don't want to dash the four's hopes of racing...but the two don't want them dead too. "Very good. I will give you some time alone while I look for your pals. Trust me, it's for the best.

With that, after giving the medal and golden ball to Heavy, Myx hops into his car, heading off. Heavy and DJ sighs as the former looks at his medal...then they heard a pair of goggles dropping, causing them to turn around. They saw a horrified Trent who just left the hideout...and he must've saw the whole thing!

"You didn't...you sold us out? YOU SOLD US OUT!!!" Trent exclaims to the duo in shock and anger.

"Wait, Trent, you got to listen..." DJ said, trying to speak to Trent but the racer pushes him in anger.

"I can't believe you two! You sold us out to that lying king! Ugh, you are both liars and sold us out for that...UGH!" Trent angrily hops into the car as he leaves. "Well, I'm outta here! You better not sell Gwen and the others out or else!"

And thus, Trent furiously drives away from the duo. Heavy and DJ looks more guilt-ridden and worried. What would they tell Gwen, Mike and Zoey?

Heavy sadly looks at the remaining carts nearby, spotting the autographs on them, especially his own. The villain looks at his medal, sighing in regret. He knows what he must do, even though it means betraying his new friends to do so.

Just then, Gwen, Mike and Zoey came out, with the first girl calling out, "We're back."

"Did you miss us?" Zoey ask Heavy who hid the medal and the golden ball behind his back. The big man wants to break the bad news to them gently as possible.

"Sev and Scorch are staying behind to secure the place so no one steals anything." Mike said as he looks around. "Say, where's Trent? He went ahead of us."

"Oh...he left...to do something." DJ said in hesitation and regret. The racer don't have the heart to tell his friends that Trent have abandoned everyone because of Heavy and DJ selling the glitches out to Myx.

"Right, ja, can we talk for a second?" Heavy ask with a nervous uneasy look on his face.

"First, kneel down." Gwen said with a smile as if she got a big surprise for Heavy.

"What? Non, non, we really..."

"Just do it!"

"Ugh, fine." Heavy groans as he kneels down. The big man wonders what Gwen is going to do now.

"Now close your eyes." Zoey said with a smile to Heavy while glancing at DJ. "You too, DJ."

"Gwen, Mike, Zoey, listen." DJ said trying to get to the explanation.

"Shush, close 'em." Gwen snaps to DJ, who groans as he and Heavy closed their eyes. Soon the girl put some item around Heavy's neck.

"Now you can open them!" Mike exclaims with a smile, he can't wait to see the looks on Heavy's face when he saw what he got.

Heavy finally open his eyes and saw what is now around his neck: a handmade heart on a string that is marked "To Stink Brain". The big man frowns as he reads it, "'To Stink Brain'. Ja, thanks..."

"Turn it over." Zoey said with a smile. Heavy turns the heart over and saw the words 'You're My Hero' on the other side.

"We made it for you. So that even if we don't win, you're still our friend." Gwen said to Heavy who looks rather down and more guilty. "Of course, not saying that isn't a remote chance of that happening."

"Right, we made more for DJ, Hoagie, Stitch, Sev and Scorch but we're saving them as a surprise." Mike said with a chuckle. He notices DJ's painful look. "Oh, right, sorry. Ruin the surprise? Perhaps we should've brought your heart out too, DJ."

"Wow, it looks...nice...right..." DJ said, rubbing the back of his head in sadness. Even Heavy looks more upset. Now what he must do is going to be more difficult.

"Err, what's wrong? Don't you like it?" Gwen ask Heavy in concern. She notes the upset look on the big man's face and is worried that he may not like it.

"Non, it's nice...it's just...thanks, listen..." Heavy begins to say in hesitation. He better get to the explanation and action before it's too late. But seeing this is going to make it really difficult now.

"Now come on, my royal chump! I've got a date with destiny!"

"We've got to move if we wanna catch up to Trent and the others!" Mike laughs a bit. The glitches prepares to head on out, but they stopped and looks puzzled as Heavy and DJ aren't moving. Now this is more concerning!

"Hey, Heavy? Come on, move your bottom!" Gwen insists to Heavy with a frown. What is he just sitting there? Doesn't the big guy believed in her still?

"Oh, well, I have been thinking..." Heavy said, beginning to say what he must.

"Wow, very dangerous."

"Oh, well, who cares about stupid race, right?" Heavy ask with a weak smile, trying to break it to Gwen who just chuckles.

"Uh, yeah, that isn't funny, Heavy." Zoey said with a frown. She doesn't like how Heavy just said that, especially in that tone. It's like...he's hiding something.

"Non, non, Heavy is serious. It was really fun to build kart and all...but maybe none of you or Trent should do it."

Gwen, Mike and Zoey are shocked and confused. A while ago, Heavy is supporting them all the way, and now, he wants to no longer want any of them to race?

"Err, hello?" Gwen ask uneasily as she knocks on her friend's head. "Any chance Heavy is in there? Yeah, I want him out please."

"Look, what Heavy is trying to say is, you can't be a racer." Heavy said seriously.

"But we want to race!" Mike protests to Heavy in concern. "We..."

"Oh, well, you want to ruin our game which will killed all of you, then go ahead!!!" DJ exclaims in horror to the trio, making them shocked and alarmed.

"What? Who told you that?"

"Is this a lie? Look, I am not in the mood, okay?" Gwen snaps to DJ in annoyance. To her, the racer is lying just to get her, Mike and Zoey, as well as Trent, to back out.

"Hey, I wouldn't lie even if I was forced to!" DJ insists to Gwen desperately.

"Are you saying, if we race, we...no way!" Zoey exclaims frantically as she and Gwen glitch a bit. "I mean, I don't want to end it all, but I also don't wanna not race either!"

"Guys, I don't understand." Gwen said in confusion. Heavy and DJ are now against the whole idea of the three and Trent racing now? What's going on here?

"Hang on a minute." Mike said, frowning as he saw something that Heavy is trying to hide in his shirt. He snatches the medal and golden ball.

"No!" Heavy exclaims in alarm.

"Where...where did you get those?" Gwen ask in shock and confusion. She saw the medal ending up in the trophy. The golden ball should be in there like Stitch said it would!

"Well, look, DJ and I will be straight with you three. We have been talking to King Mxyzplk."

"Wait, King Mxyzplk...you sold us out!"

"You sold us all out?!" Zoey gasps in shock as she put her hands to her mouth. "Including Trent?!"

"Non, listen...you all don't understand." Heavy said, trying to calm the trio down

Oh, yeah, I understand a lot...you traitors!" Gwen hiss furiously as she throws the items right at Heavy and DJ, who both yelped as they got hit.

"Please, let us explain!"

"There isn't anything to explain about!" Mike exclaims furiously as he pushes DJ back. "You two are traitors! Figures, DJ! You are just like Heather, Alejandro, Scott, or any other bad guys! Once you used up an ally, you backstabbed them!"

"Well, Zoey, Mike, Trent and I don't need any of you!" Gwen exclaims in fury. "One of us can win that race by ourselves!"

"Right, and don't any of you get in our way!" Zoey exclaims as she kicks dirt right onto Heavy, making him yelp.

"Non! I am trying to save you all!" Heavy exclaims. He quickly grabs the three, causing them to struggle as they try to escape from his hold.

"Hey, put us down, let us go!" Gwen exclaims angrily, trying to hit Heavy uselessly. "Stop it, Trent, help!"

"Listen, you stubborn! Do you know what's going to happen when Users see any of you glitching? They will think game's broken!"

"You lie!"

"Well, it isn't a lie!" DJ exclaims in concern to his former friends. "And players like this Kuki girl is going to sob and cry when she finds out that you got send into oblivion! Do you want that?!'

"No, but we want to race!" Zoey exclaims angrily, trying to escape Heavy's hold as well.

"You all better start caring, because once your game goes out of order, you all go down with ship, little sister!" Heavy exclaims sternly yet heart broken. He hates to do this but the villain has no choice!

"I'm not listening to you or DJ! Now get out of my way!" Gwen exclaims to Heavy furiously. She isn't going to let that jerk stop her or her friends from racing!

"Listen, we are going to race, no one is going to stop us!" Mike exclaims angrily to Heavy and DJ. "And if any of us died, then at least it's better than not racing at all!"

"No you're not!" Heavy exclaims angrily as he hangs Gwen, Mike and Zoey on a tree nearby.

"Yes, we will, now let us down from here right now!" Gwen screams out as she tries to escape the tree with her pals, but the tree kept them on tightly.

"Non. I'm doing this for your own good, everyone."

Heavy groans as he heads over to the carts. The girls begins to sobs as Mike yells out frantically, "No, stop! You guys don't know what you're doing!"

"Heavy, you better smash them. I don't have the heart to do this." DJ said in sadness. He hates to smash his former friends' carts, right in front of Gwen, Mike and Zoey, no less.

Just then Sev and Scorch came out right after securing the place in time to see what's happening. They look shocked and confused to see Gwen, Mike and Zoey hung up in a tree like this.

"What's going on?" Sev ask in confusion and concern. "And Heavy, what are you doing?"

Heavy sadly nodded as he pants. The girls stop crying as they watch in horror, knowing what their former friend is about to do.

"Wait, no, stop." Gwen begins to protest in worry, shaking her head.

"No, stop, Heavy, you're making a mistake!" Zoey pleads to Heavy to stop what he's about to do.

"No, no, stop!" Mike protests as Heavy waves his fists into the air, preparing to do the unthinkable and inevitable, even if it means breaking his new friends' hearts.

"Heavy, please!" Gwen exclaims frantically. But Heavy begins breaking Gwen's cart up like mad. "NOOOOO!"

"PLEASE, STOP!" Zoey cries out in horror. Mike can only watch in horror as Heavy now begins breaking up his and Zoey's own carts.

"Heavy, stop it, NOOOOO!!!!"

Sev and Scorch just watch as Heavy destroyed the karts, too shocked watching to really understand what was going on. Soon, the deed has been done as the carts are now destroyed. Gwen and Zoey sobs in sadness as they and Mike glitch safely to the ground. One wonder why they didn't do that in the first place. Could be because they're too upset to do so.

"You...you really are a bad guy." Gwen said, heartbroken. She sobs and rushes back into the entrance of her mountain home.

"You...YOU'RE A MONSTER, BOTH YOU AND DJ!" Zoey exclaims furiously as she points at Heavy and DJ. "I HOPE I NEVER SEE ANY OF YOU AGAIN!!!"

Zoey sobs and heads back into the mountain home. Mike gave an angry glare to his former friends then follows the girls back in. Heavy and DJ both looks down in sadness, they betrayed their new friends, just to keep them safe. One must wonder...is it even worth it?

Heavy sadly walks to the remains and picks up his medal and the golden ball, passing by the "Made By" that has his signature on it. He hopes the Freelance Police will understand the truth and why Heavy did what he did.

"Heavy, I don't understand why you did that but you've done enough damage." Sev said glaring at him under his helmet. "I am indicting command to have you detained in your game, we will escort you there and oversee detainment so let's go." He motions for the group to move.

Heavy sighs and nods following. DJ stays behind, looking conflicted looking.

Heavy has saved his friends...but at the cost of the friendship between him, DJ and the glitches.

Hoagie and Stitch came back after patrolling the area. No signs of Myx and any of his goons, that's good. However, upon arrival, they look surprised to see the cars a total wreck.

"What? Did someone makes a demolition derby and didn't invite Stitch?" Stitch ask Hoagie in bewilderment.

"Something happened here but who did this?" Hoagie ask in concern. "And where are Heavy, the commandos and the Total Drama folks?"

"Not here." A familiar voice said, making the Freelance Police turns to see Myx now arriving.

"Oh great, youga again? Get lost, stupid head!" Stitch exclaims furiously, making a big frown to the villain.

"Buddy, I don't know what happened but you are involved somehow. And if it's about the glitch thing, wrong too!" Hoagie exclaims sternly to the king. "Because even us gamers know how to get glitches out of their games."

"Oh really? Well, the whole glitches and not allowed to race thing is not an option." Myx said, suspecting that his ace card cannot be used here. During this time, Gwen, Mike and Zoey peeks outside, seeing their Freelance Police pals. Did they know what happened earlier? "Needless to say, you two will not race."

"And what happens if weega stay in, stupid head?" Stitch asks as he sticks his tongue out at Myx. "Nothing youga will say will change our minds now!"

"Not even this?"

Myx pushes a button. Suddenly, some sort of crane pulls out something. Hoagie and Stitch gasps as they saw some familiar figures tied up and gagged.

It's Numbuhs 3-5, Angelilo, Jumbaa, Pleakley...and Trent!

Poor Heavy. He has to break Gwen, Mike and Zoey's hearts to save them. And what about the hostages that Myx now has? In the next chapter, the Freelance Police are forced to quit the race to save their friends, with Gwen, Mike and Zoey giving themselves up. Meanwhile, Heavy return home, only to find that his game is being unplugged...and the heroes made a discovery that made them suspicious. Read, review and suggest.
