Chapter 10: Mxy's Secret

The audience is cheering in the arena as a hot air balloon with the Total Drama Rush logo flies over head. The time has come for the race to begin. The racers lined up as the boxes with the audience pops up, cheering while, any sorts are cheering.

The cars revved as the janitors dusted the starting line. The billboard is activated with racers activated...all but the "No Shows" which is for certain racers, like Gwen, Trent, Mike, Zoey, DJ, Hoagie and Stitch...not that the racers mind of course.

"My sweet subjects! I can give with no hesitation of assuring you that I haven't been happy in all my life to say the following words!" Mxy calls out from the top of the stadium as he is wearing his helmet. With Gwen, Trent, Mike and Zoey locked up (or so he thought) and Hoagie and Stitch out of the race, nothing will ruin it and his rule now! "Time for the Random Roster Race to begin! Ha ha ha!"

Mxy pulls the lever, causing the top of the area to unravel. The king then slid down the makeshift slide then hops into his car. The racers waited until the green light lit as the "GO" logo was shown. The racers headed off, with a couple starting to revved off, screeching and following.

The audience watches the race on a screen. It shows Heather ahead of the others, zooming quickly as the crowd cheers on. Not one of them saw familiar vehicles arriving on the scene. Hoagie and Stitch decided to just watch to avoid suspicion.

"Okay, remember, you don't have to win." Heavy said to Gwen, Trent, Mike and Zoey calmly. “Cross finish line and glitches will be real racers."

"And DJ? Youga make sure your so-called pals don't break them." Stitch said to DJ in concern. The group doesn't want their pals to get hurt or worst before they could even reach the finish line.

"No problem!" DJ exclaims in determination. He will do whatever it takes to help his friends, win or cross the finish line!

"All right, come on, Gwen!" Trent exclaims to Gwen with a smile. "Time we cross the finish line so you could be a real racer."

"I'm already a real racer!" Gwen exclaims, getting psyched up for this.

"Let's get going!" Zoey exclaims, getting her car out with a nod.

"Yeah, let's race and win or get our lives back!" Mike exclaims with a happy excited laugh as the non-racers got out of the carts.

"And I'm going to win!" Gwen exclaims in determination. This time, no one is going to stop her!

"Hang on to your butts!" Sev calls out to her acers who prepare to head off. And thus, the others watches as the racers finally speeded off, driving on their markers before their names and faces appears on the board before zooming off. "And there they go!"

"Yeah, let's go Mxy doesn't try anything funny!" Pleakley exclaims as the gang watches the screen to see the whole race.

"In this race, anything goes, my friend." Jumbaa admits sternly. This race can be nasty and in one big hurry!

On the track, boulders are released in an area as the racers arrives dodging them. However, Shawn wasn't lucky as he was knocked down by one. Lindsay and Scarlett smirks as they grab some power ups for them to use.

"POWER UP!" A voice booms as ice cream cones appears on the two's cars. They begin to turn and opens fire ice cream at the other teams. Mxy yelps as he dodges Scarlett's line of fire. Lindsay's manage to hit Anne Marisa, crushing part of her car while causing it to look like ice cream on pie. "OOOH! ALA MODE!"

As the crowd cheers wildly, Mxy zooms into a power up to grab it. The voice booms out, "SWEET SEEKERS!!"

As the king got a target on his car, Mxy laughs, "How about some candy?!"

Mxy fires fireballs like mad. Brick, Scarlett and Lindsay, knocking the last girl off the course while the red haired crashes through some gumball glasses, causing some of the gumballs to fall off. Mxy laughs wickedly, he loves being himself!

Unknown to everyone, Gwen's group is catching up to Courtney and Dave on the board very fast. As the racers continues, they looks shocked as various faces zoomed through.

"Coming through!" Mike exclaims to the others with a smirk.

"Hey!" Zoey exclaims as she and her pals zooms towards the power ups speeding quickly, much to Courtney and Dave's shock. "Love to race!"

"Behind you." Gwen taunts as Courtney, Dave and Ezekil looks shocked upon seeing them out front now.

"Right in front of you, later!" Trent taunts as the group kept zooming while the race goes up a layer cake.

As the ones up front swirl ahead, Scott gasps as he saw familiar faces in his mirror, "It's the Glitches!"

"Glitches?!" Heather yells out in shock as she saw Gwen's group approaching. No! The king insisted that they are out of the race! "As well as those traitors DJ and Trent! Jo, light them up!"

Jo laughs wickedly as she took out a cherry bomb. The voice booms out, "OH NO! CHERRY BOMBS!"

The glitches gasps in alarm and shift gears to dodge the exploding bombs like mad, the glitches yelps as they glitched like mad.

"Told you that you three were accidents waiting to happen!" Heather taunts the glitches. "And Trent, DJ! You should've known better than to keep on associating with them!"

"Oh shut up!" Trent snaps as he fires bombs, hitting Heather like mad. The boy spots a big ramp up ahead. "Gwen! Use your glitching powers!"

"Are you sure?" Gwen ask Trent in concern.

"Do it!"

Trent and DJ grabs Gwen's vehicle as he and the glitches teleported in front of the others just as everyone is going up the ramp. Everyone screams in either alarm or in fear. Luckily, Gwen's group landed safely on the other side. Heather and her pals aren't so lucky as they hit a big cupcake below.

As the mean racers got out, Heather sobs like mad. Jo groans, "My hair!"

"MOMMMMMMY!!!" Max sobs a bit while sucking his tongue.

"Oh yeah, good work!" DJ calls out to Gwen's group as the heroes are up ahead. "Your glitching gave us the advantage."

"Too much." Gwen said in concern as she mumbles to herself. "Keep it under control. No more glitching."

Zoey overheard her friend, saying, "I dunno. I think DJ got the idea that our glitching teleport can help us! It's like a different personal power up."

"You really think so?" Mike ask Zoey with a smile.

"I know so."

The group zoomed forward. The board shows Gwen is in second, Trent is in third, DJ is in fourth, Zoey is in fifth and Mike is in sixth. But no matter what positions, the racers are determined to cross the finish line and restored Gwen, Mike and Zoey's position in this game!

Heavy's group watch the results excitedly. Heavy laughs, "All right, kid. Time to finish thing without any further surprises..."
Suddenly Heavy yelps in surprise as he got punched down to the ground by a familiar girl who looks ticked off. She, Sylvia and Fixer arrives on the scene.

"You again?!" Numbuh 4 yells out to Astrid in annoyance. "Bad enough that you got us send out the window earlier but..."

Astrid hits Numbuh 4, making him yelps as she snaps, "Look, I don't have any time for your big mouth, kid! Well, Heavy, hope you and your pals are happy. This game is going down and it's all your fault!"

"And Sev, Scorch! You're lucky we don't have you two court martialed for going AWOL!" Sylvia snaps to the two absent players sternly.

"Sir, please, let us explain." Sev said in concern to Sylvia.

"My lady? You came back!" Wander exclaims, amazed and delighted that Sylvia has returned.

"Astrid." Hiccup said with a sigh, happy to see Astrid. "Listen, about earlier..."

"Can it, Fix Its! Save it, everyone else!" Astrid snaps sternly. "Boss! Why didn't you even report to us earlier?!"

"Sir, I was locked up in a fungeon for hours now." Boss said in concern to his commander, saluting somewhat. "I couldn't do so even if I wanted to but please listen!"

"Well, right now, we got a big problem here." Fixer said in concern to the others. "We found the Heartless...."

"Right, that Heartless that Heavy and his pals brought with them multiplied!" Astrid explains, much to the horrors of some of the Users, as well as the other commandos.

"Non, it died in taffy swamp." Heavy said in dismissal.

"No, Heartless aren't easily killed!" Numbuh 5 explains in horror to Heavy. "That Heartless must've survived and..."

"Come on, it must be dead by now!" Hoagie said with a shrug, believing that the Heartless that Heavy, the Freelance Police, Sev and Scorch unwittingly brought into Total Drama Rush is dead by now.

Suddenly without warning, a lot of colored Heartless popped out like mad, causing the folks to scream in horror. They don't know what these things are but they are horrified already.

"Bull Roar!" Astrid snaps to Heavy and Hoagie who looks shocked at this. That Heartless survived?!

"You had to say it!" Angelilo exclaims to her friends with a groan.

"Soldiers, get ready!" Sylvia exclaims as she, Astrid and the troopers got their weapons ready and open fire on the attacking Heartless. As Astrid uses her jetpack, the dinosaur calls out to the crowd, "Everyone, get to Game Central Station now! This is now a drill! Move it, go, go, go!"

Sylvia led the crowd as they abandoned the race. The ones staying behind look at the race board, seeing that Gwen's group is still racing! Numbuh 3 yelps, "Oh no! They're still out there!"

As the last lap was indicated on the board, the "Finish" glows on the neon green light. The Heartless notices and piles on it, much to the heroes' horror. If the racers cross it, they will run into some nasty monsters!

"No!" The girls exclaims in shock and horror. They got to get rid of these guys before Gwen's group arrives.

A large light green chameleon like heartless with dark green stripes emerges from a hole and roars. Sev, seeing it, grins and said, "There it is the Stealth Sneak! Be right back, everyone." He then charges, firing a few blasts at it to get its attention and it chases him.

"Sev! Get back here!" Fixer called out.

"Just hold the line, he's achieving his dream!" Scorch said firing at the Heartless.

Mxy continues his racing through a snow like area, unaware of the madness happening right now. As he does, some familiar carts with racers arrives. Mxy, in slow motion, saw them, as he yells out, "Whaaaaat?!"

The heroes smirks with Mike waving as they zoomed past the evil king. Mxy growls as he took a shortcut route while the others zoom through the area. He has no idea how Gwen and her pals got back into the race but he isn't going to allow any of them to cross the finish line!

"Well, until King Mxyzptlk arrives, anyone want a fun race?" Zoey ask her friends as they zoomed through the area.

"I like those odds." Gwen said smiling.

Everyone laughs as they zoomed through the race track, trying to gain the lead while having fun. Maybe if they're lucky, they will go too far ahead that Mxy won't be able to catch them! They whooped while going down the rainbow-like road.

However, the fun didn't lasted as a familiar car came from out of nowhere, crashing right into the others. Mxy snarls, "Get off my track, losers!"

"Hey!" Gwen exclaims, trying her best to reverse. "Are you out of your mind?!"

"What, you kidding?!" DJ calls out to Gwen in alarm. "You know that he is!!!"

"Gah!" Mike screams as Mxy is trying to knock the players off the hard furiously. "He really wants to kill us!"

"Tell me about it!" Zoey exclaims frantically. Mxy is so heck-bent on stopping Gwen, Mike and Zoey from crossing the finish line and becoming racers again!

The group does their best to free themselves. Trent yells out, "Leave her alone, Mxy! At least let Gwen go last!"

"Forget it!" Mxy screams in furious as he pulls off the driving stick. "I forbid any of you to cross that finish line, no matter what position you're in!"

"You really are evil!" DJ exclaims in horror.

Mxy pulls off his antenna and begins swiping at the group like mad, causing them to yelp and dodged a bit. Zoey screams out, "Hey, leave us alone, you jerk!"

"Yeah, knock it off!" Gwen exclaims to the evil king, yelping as the king hits their glass windows.

Back at the finish line, the Heartless charged like mad, preparing to kill the heroes. .Jumbaa inject Heavy with a special serum that, similar to the Medic's "Uber-charge", makes the Heavy invulnerable for eight seconds, at which point the Heav shout, "NOW IS COWARD-KILLING TIME!" He then correcting himself, "I mean the EVIL cowards, not the good ones."

"Take that!" Numbuh 5 exclaims as she fires blasts from her weapon. "Kids Next Door, plug them up!"

"Aye aye!" Numbuh 3 giggles as she fires candy balls at the Heartless, getting rid of some of them.

"Naga bika licko!" Stitch exclaims as he and Angelilo stood side by side, using their weapon to get rid of the Heartless as well.

Just as one Heartless leaps to knock Heavy down, something knocks it away and everyone looks to see the something be a Stealth Sneak's tail and riding it with a makeshift candy harness was Sev who laughs, "What did I say?! Showing them whose boss keeps them controlled!"

"Good job Sev, now we have to defend the finish line." Boss ordered and Sev nods and rides the tamed Heartless to fight its former brethren.

"Heavy, look!" Hiccup gasps as he points to the screen. Most of the heroes looks to see Mxy trying to hurt Gwen's group.

"Kids!" Heavy exclaims in horror. Gwen and her pals are in danger fighting off that mad king!

The race continues through the mines as Mxy managed to break the windows. As the evil king prepares to make another attack, the glitched ones grabs Mxy. Suddenly without warning, Mxy begins to glitch rapidly big time.

"Hey, stop, let go!" Mxy exclaims in alarm as he continues glitching. "I am not going to let any of you undo all my hard work that I've spend years on working!!!"

Everyone in the stadium saw something shocking: Mxy begins to transform into a true form: a figure with gray skins, four fingers...and having yellow eyes and a white outfit. Heavy, Wander, Hiccup, Numbuhs 3-5, Jumbaa, Pleakley, Angelilo, Boss and Fixer looks shocked as they recognize him: a figure who hasn't been seen in years.

Hiccup, seeing Mxy's image changing on the racing screen, gasps, "Wait a sec, is that?" The king stops changing as his true form is revealed...much to the horror of those who has saw it before years ago when the term "Imp Time" was created!

Heavy completely shocked to see who Mxy really was yells out, "It's not possible!"

"Who is that?" Stitch ask confused. He and Hoagie, as well as Sev and Scorch, haven't heard the story of out "Going Imp" came to be so they are confused by this.

"That's Imp! He tried to take over Go-Bots but ended up putting Go-Bots and his game Imp Time out of order...for good!" Wander explains frantically to the ones not in the know.

"Yeah, you told us his story but how did he manage to survive getting un..." Numbuh 5 said. She stops upon realizing what's happening. "Oh no."

"Meega hates oh-no's, Abby!" Stitch groans, feeling what the girl just realized.

"I think when Imp made both his game and Go-Bots go out of order for good, he must of quickly escaped before the games got unplugged and bid his time until a new racing game got plugged in waiting for him to take it over and mess with its programing, but not before crating a change to his appearance.

Heavy begins to realize something. Of course, that explains why he's doing this to Gwen, Mike and Zoey, forbidding them to race and everything! He's trying to repeat his selfish, arrogant and evil actions from so many years ago all-over again and he's just mess with the programs of the three main characters who would get in his way!

"Of course! Now this explains a lot!" Heavy exclaims with a big frown.

Pleakley comment, "Is it just me, or does this movie seem like a video game-centered counterpart to 'Who Framed Roger Rabbit?'."

Numbuh 5 answers, "'It's NOT just you. At least they picked a VERY good movie to try to do a counterpart to."

Gwen and her pals looks confused by Mxy going back and forth to his true form and his fake one like mad. Gwen yells out, "What the...?!"

"Who are you?!" Zoey asks Mxy in shock by this.

"I'm Imp, the greatest racer in this arcade!" Imp/Mxy exclaims madly. With his true form now exposed, there is no reason to keep his identify a secret anymore! "I did not escape Go-Bots, stole the Konami code from some stupid User, and reprogram this game just so you, your halitosis-riddled lunk head buddy and your other pals take it away from me now!"

"You are evil, you aren't even part of this game!" Trent exclaims angrily. He can now tell that Mxy isn't part of the game originally at all!

"Now time for you all to die!" Mxy exclaims madly as he slams the pedal, causing his enemies to yell as their cars turn around. "Ha ha! Imp Tastic!"

"We're about to hit the stalagmites!" Mike exclaims. The heroes as they saw a fork in the road up ahead. Mxy is more determined to knock them all into it.

"Ha ha ha! End of the line, glitches and non-glitches! Let's see how you like being killed by someone who has been doing this for years!!!"

"Glitches? That's it!" Gwen gasps, having an idea. "Trent, DJ, hang on and don't let go!" Trent and DJ held on quickly. The world appears to be slowing down as Gwen, Mike and Zoey concentrate, closing their eyes. "Gwen, come on. You said you weren't going to do it, but do so one more time. "Focus, concentrate...and glitch."

Suddenly Gwen's group teleported to the left wall, much to the shock of Mxy who screams out, "NOOOO!!!!"

Mxy ends up swerving, bouncing off the wall before heading down the right hand tunnel. Gwen and her friends laughs in glee. Gwen's glitching powers have worked!

"Ha ha ha! Sweet mother of bigfoot milk we did it!" Gwen exclaims happily.

"Right, let's leave, meet our pals and cross the finish line!" DK exclaims as everyone zooms out of the tunnel in determination.

"NOOOOOO!!!!" Mxy/Imp screams out in anger and fury. Those glitches are going to cross the finish line and ruin his game! How could this get worst for him?!

As if to answer that question the hard, a familiar Heartless came from out of nowhere. Mxy could only scream for the last time as the monster opens its big mouth, causing his world to go black.

So Mxy was Imp the whole time! Cool! But the Heartless is invading. Not cool! In the next chapter, the invasion gets worst as everyone must escape, but Gwen, Mike and Zoey can't! Heavy comes up with an idea to stop the invasion once and for all. Read, review and suggest.
