Chapter 2: A Big Trashy Mistake

Tommy comes into his room with the insistent Dil following, asking, "So all right if I have your computer?"

"No way!" Tommy snaps to Dil with a frown.

"Video games?"

"Forget it, not a chance, Dil! Forget the whole idea, got it?"

Dil sighs a bit, he was hoping to have some of his big brother's cool stuff before he goes, but no go. As the boy leaves the room, Tommy goes to work on typing on his laptop. The boy wanted some work done before Friday.

Didi came in with cardboard boxes and trash bags, saying, "All right, Tommy. Time for some decisions. Now whatever you aren't taking to college will either go into the attic or in the trash."

The woman took a box and mark the word 'College' on it, causing Tommy to groan, "Mom, come on! I am not going to leave until Friday! There isn't any reason to rush!"

"Today is also garbage day so some trash must go."

"Mom!"

Didi, hoping to make this simple for her son, take Tommy's skateboard and put it in the 'College' Box as she explains, "Very simple. Skateboard? College? Little league trophy? Well, that will go into the attic. Apple core, nothing but trash!"

Didi takes an apple core, putting it into the trash bag which she then hands to Tommy. The boy roll his eyes while taking his things. Why must his own mother be so fussy, right when he's now old enough and is going to college? Unbelievable!

Dil returns to the room at that moment and opens the toy chest, spotting his brother's toys. He frowns while saying, "Hey, Big T! Why do you even have those old toys, along with the Daisy Duck I used to have yet you talked me into giving to you!"

"Dil, I told you, get out of my room!" Tommy snaps at Dil in annoyance. The boy groans as he leaves the room.

"Can't wait until 3 days are up. Then this place is so mine."

"Now Dil, you must go through this too." Didi said to Dil as she follows him out of the room and right into his. The toy watch on from the toy chest as the mother was holding another box. "Even I know you got more toys than you know what to do with. Some of them will make other kids really happy."

"Ugh, what other kids?" Dil ask Didi bored as he reads a magazine, which has a girl named Elmyra Duff on the cover.

"The ones at the daycare of course. They are always asking for donation."

"What's 'daycare'?" Willie ask his friends in a whisper.

"I don't know." Spike said in concern, even most of the other toys are curious too as this is the first time they ever heard of 'daycare'.

"Sssh!" Mickey, Minnie and Twilight shush Willie and Spike quietly.

"You want them to hear us?" Daffy snaps at Willie in irritation.

"Mom, come on!" Dil protests with a pouty as Didi wrote the words 'Sunnyside' on the box before putting it down.

"Dil, you are too old for some of your own toys." Did said sternly, pointing out a fact to Dil. It's true, the boy's toys are the same ones that he never played with anymore. "You can choose what toys you want to donate and I will make sure to drop them off at Sunnyside later."

Dil leaves, making Dil sighs in irritation. May as well do it if it means making her happy, so he looks around his room for what toys that he doesn't want anymore. The boy took a xylophone and a Magic 8-Ball, putting them into the box. Now Dil picks up his old Minerva Mink doll, the mink is smiling, eager to play.

But Dil has grown apart of that toy so he tosses her into the magazine without a second thought before returning to his magazine. Seeing that sight made Tommy's toy sad and worried as Minerva been Dil's pal since he first got her.

"Poor Minerva." Lola said in sadness.

"The poor dear will be heart broken when she moves again." Rarity said in agreement.

"The Corvette is mine!" Iago exclaims excitedly. With Minerva gone, that means the car is all his!

"Iago, come on! Minerva is getting sold here and all you care about is her car!" Minnie exclaims, scolding Iago for his insensitive and greedy nature. "I mean, what if Dil wishes to donate that too?"

"Hey, I can deal it too."

"Don't be greedy...besides I called dibs on it earlier." Rainbow said indifferently, pointing out that she calls dibs on the car.

"Rainbow!" Applejack exclaims, scolding Rainbow for that.

"The m-m-m-m...she's coming back!" Porky gasps as he saw Didi coming back into the room.

Tommy was still on his computer, not wanting to go through his old toys to see which ones he doesn't want yet. Didi sighs in concern, "tommy. You must start making decisions here."

"As in what?" Tommy ask bored as his mother opens the toy chest, causing the toys to go back into "Toy Mode" again.

"Well, what are you going to do with all these toys? Shall we give them away to Sunnyside?"

"The answer is no, mom! Not a chance!"

"We can always sell them online you know." Didi insists, annoying Tommy further.

"Mom, forget it! No one in their right mind would want those old toys, they're nothing but junk!" Tommy snaps at his mother in annoyance, causing her to lower the lid a bit. If the toys could do so, they would gasp and become stunned by the words that their owner said about them. It's as if the boy they care for is gone for good.

"Fine, I can take a hint. But you have until Friday to make your decision. Whatever that isn't going to college or into the attic is getting thrown out."

"Yeah, yeah. Geez."

Tommy goes back to his laptop right after his mom Didi left from shaking her head Once Tommy's mom is gone, the boy sighs and closes his laptop before looking around his room. Then Tommy then rolls his chair to the toy chest and open his lid. There they are: his toys, his old friends, frozen and smiling, forever eager to play when the boy is ready.

The truth be told, deep down, Tommy didn't really mean to call them 'trash', but it just slip out. The purple haired boy just doesn't want to give his toys away, they're like family to him. Sure, Tommy's gone through of giving away or selling most of his other toys over the years, but that's because he didn't have a choice. At least the boy was able to keep Mickey, Bugs, and these toys. The boy even looked by his desk where his computer was, Unknown was there to look like a cool decorated accessory even for a boy like Tommy's age, as it was too childish to be seen.

Tommy pauses to think about how to make his decision about the rest of the toys in his chest. He doesn't want to sell any or give away his remaining toys, but throwing them out was out of the question. Finally after much thought, Tommy has made a decision on what to do with his old toy friends.

During the time, most of the boxes are taken, Tommy grabs a trash bag nearby and opens it up. The purple haired boy begins taking his toys and putting Willie the Giant, Donald Duck, and Lola Bunny into the bag itself. Tommy took Iago to open the bank toy's cork to take out loose change before putting the cork back in & out the toy along with the other toys in the trash bag. The other toys were Pluto, Goofy, Daisy Duck, Huey, Dewey & Louie, Oswald and the Looney Tune Squad.

Then Tommy picks up Nicole, recalling this toy lynx that he used to have some fun times playing games on his computer, and was a gift from his Grandpa Boris. The boy sighs in knowing that even though it was a nice & thoughtful gift, he decided to put the lynx girl in the bag to. Unknowing of the truth about HOW, Nicole the Lynx came into his possession.

Tommy took out the Mane Six, Spike, Pinkamena, Golden Heart and Gold Wing, now pondering what to do with them...then he put them into the College Box. It would make him look silly, having pony toys but as long as Tommy keep them hidden (and maybe show them when the time is right), it wouldn't be a problem, right?

Next while he was digging he found a surprising feat, Minnie Mouse & her pet cat Figaro were at the bottom of the toy pile, as he took them to hold up. "Strange, I thought these were sold....weren't they?" The boy pauses for a brief moment in not knowing what to make of this, but...decided to place the female mouse & her cat near the College box. "May as well decide what to do with her afterwards. It's been so long and..."

That's when something made Tommy stop for a moment to stare at something, the next two toys he picked up were Mickey Mouse & Bugs Bunny. Each showed smiling faces, Tommy felt like he was staring at what he loved in the past, something that was a treasured family toy to even something new that also became a part of the family. Recalling what his mother said, Tommy had to make a choice; which would go with him to college to which one would go in the bag; which one?

Unknown to the boy, the toys in the bag to even the toys that were outside watch on in seeing Tommy was going to make a final decision. Then they all saw it, Tommy place Mickey in the College box while putting Bugs in the trash bag.

"Eeeeh, what just happened?" Bugs gasped off when Tommy wasn't looking, showing a stunned & shocked face of what occurred while their owner closes the bag tightly.

"Hey, what's going on?" Oswald yelps in alarm as to what's going on here.

Now Tommy picks up the trash bag to take it right out of his room. Coming to life now, Mickey, Minnie along with Figaro, the ponies group, even Unknown responded in seeing what happened.

"Oh my, on no!" Fluttershy shudders out in shock.

"He isn't going to do what I think he's doing, is he?" Pinkie gasps in worry and fright.

"Mickey, we...you...? What's Tommy doing, he's not…" Minnie gasped off in horror, was Tommy planning to...throw his toys in the trash.

"I know....the others. He wouldn't toss them out, would he?" Mickey nods off to the mouse girl he loves, Tommy wouldn't toss them aside, right?

"Seeing you all not with them while being handle in such a manner, I dare say will cause...an upset." Unknown responded in speaking seriously that from how this scene plays out...the other toys in the bag might be panicking.

"Well, we better do something before they are gone forever." Golden Heart said seriously, fearing for his friends right now.

Meanwhile, inside the trash bag, the other toys were having to deal with what was already happening to them...

"Dugh, what's happening here?" Willie the Giant asked off in feeling like this seem to scare him.

"You big palooka! We're being thrown out, what else!" Donald Duck remarked off in seeing what horror awaits them now.

"All signs of action have yet to be confirmed." Nicole spoke off logically that they are not yet certain this was the case.

"Gah!" Porky and Daffy exclaims frantically.

"Then tell us, what is he gonna do with us in a TRASH BAG, for pity's sake?" Iago asked off in sounding like they are about to lose it.

"Ehhh, this here docs.....may take us a while to unravel. So...better watch us from outside." Bugs spoke off camera in telling the audience what they best wait for while breaking the fourth wall.

Back in Tommy's room, Mickey quickly jump out of the box with the ponies, Spike, Gold Wing, Minnie & Figaro helping him up, and run across the room, before joining Unknown who leaped off his spot to hide from the door frame. They watch Tommy walk away from his room while holding the trash bag full of toys. Many thoughts went through in hoping the boy was not actually gonna thrown out his old toys, now would he?

"I say we go after him, trip him and..." Rainbow whispers, fearing the worst for her friends.

"Rainbow, look!" Twilight gasps, stopping Rainbow from doing anything rash just yet.

Then at a sudden motion, Tommy stops to reach upwards to pull a rope that brought out a trapdoor ladder, which would lead to the attic. The mouse toys sigh with relief, so Tommy wasn't gonna toss Bugs & the others out after all, that's a good sign.

"Yay! Tommy isn't going to be a toy destroyer!" Pinkie giggles, bouncing up and down in delight.

"It would appear your trust in the boy was true, he isn't going to throw them away, but store them..." Unknown issued off to the others here, seeing the toys in the bag were gonna be brought up to be stored in the attic.

"Oh dear, we may have to explain this to them when we get the chance, they must be so terrified." Minnie stated in fear of knowing that those that can't see what's happening might be scared.

"Well, at least we have nothing else to be worried about or any problems to deal with." Mickey sighs in feeling that so long as nothing interrupts this, they will be fine.

"Yeah, I mean, once they get out of the bag, everything will be fine." Spike said, rubbing the back of his neck with glee.

Just as Tommy was heading up the ladder, Dil was seen coming out of his room struggling with a box load of things the little brother wanted to give away. But then from hitting the door frame, a Magic 8-Ball fell out.

"Hey Dil, need a hand there?" Tommy asked off curiously in thinking his brother needs help.

"Nope! I got it....hoooh, I'm okay!" Dil insisted this off to steady the grip of holding a heavy box he put selected stuff in.

"Here, let me help...I'll put my stuff away afterwards." Tommy insisted as he put the bag down to get off the ladder by the foot, to give Dil a hand & then come back to finish what he started to do. "So tell me Dil, you gonna miss your big bro while I'm gone?" As Tommy picked up the box his little brother was having a hard time moving off, he asked the question while they went downstairs.

"Depends, bro...If I was to say 'no', would I get your room & turn it into something cool?" Dil asked off in liking to ponder this intriguing question.

"For that answer, it's simple...no." Tommy replied off in a bored look at where this would get him.

"Well okay, then I'll miss you Tommy. We sure had swell times." Dil replied off to say this in being honest to miss Tommy when he goes.

"You were saying, mouse?" Unknown cross his arms to comment what Mickey said earlier about dealing with worrying problems.

"Okay...slight delay." Mickey Mouse made a slight sheepish face in slightly correcting himself.

"Okay, so maybe they aren't in the attic right away." Spike said awkwardly. "But they will too."

"Ah suppose we should go y'all over there an' help our buckaroo out." Applejack suggests that the gang goes over and give comfort to their scared friends.

"Well, at least while the others are in the attic, maybe I can come with you to college Mickey." Minnie smiled off joyfully to hold Mickey's hands, making him blush a bit.

If Unknown's eyes could be seen more than glowing lights, he roll them at the mouse love. Most of the ponies smile or even roll their eyes in irritation. But the hooded toy & Figaro stared curiously at the bag by the foot of the ladder, pondering how the other toys are handling things...calmly, or...the opposite.

The toys inside the trash bag, were unaware of what's really going on, piled all over each other.

"Can't breathe...can't breathe." Lola is hyperventilating like mad, as she exclaimed this frantically over what was happening. "First Serena tossed me out, now Tommy!? This cannot be happening! THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING!" The girl bunny was on the verge of losing it here.

"Lola, just calm down. Remember your training." Bugs tries to calm the girl bunny down.

"What training?" Lola cried out in feeling like there was no training for this.

"Ehh...I'll get back to you on that." Bugs looks around, trying to figure out how to get himself and the others out of this mess.

"Dugh, this cannot be happening! Is this really the end?" Willie exclaim in terror, panicking in what was gonna happen to them. The very day that most of the toys feared would arrive for them: Tommy was tossing them out, they just knew that he would do this!?

"Unable to determine the outcome." Nicole spoke off the logical function of such a thing was undetermined.

"How can you not call THIS, a Worse Outcome?" Donald panicked off in knowing this was a terrible situation for them.

"Come on, I'm sure there's a good explanation for this!" Penelope exclaims, trying to calm her pals down.

"Here's one: we're getting thrown out!" Oswald exclaims angrily to Penelope.

"Hey wait docs, pipe down would yah! What's that strange sound?" Bugs silenced everyone in being alarmed at hearing something. The toys in the bag listen to a strange sort of noise coming from outside the bag, a faint creaking sound. Just what was it anyway?

That noise that the toys in the bag are hearing is the attic ladder which, spring-loaded, begins to retract back into place, pushing the trash bag filled of toys out of the way from its path.

And back inside the bag, the toys tumble over each other screaming this, "Whoaaaaaa......" as the whole thing is tipped over from a spin motion.

Soon the ladder rises to the ceiling all together, going back into place like it was not even brought down. Those by Tommy's room noticed this.

"I know Unknown, I asked for it." Mickey sighs, admitting that he asked for this.

"For now, let’s check the others." Minnie suggests to her group.

"We were about 'ta do 'dat." Applejack said with a nod of agreement.

"Agreed." Unknown agreed to that term of what they need to do here.

Soon Mickey & Minnie began to tiptoe a bit, Figaro got a ride from Unknown whose movement was so quiet the guy was like a stealthy ninja; how does such a mysterious action toy do that? Well in any case, they were about to reach the bag with the other toys inside until...

Unknown's quicker senses kicked in, then leaped backwards to grab Mickey & Minnie's hands to bring them behind Tommy's door frame. Which was a close call, since Didi, Tommy & Dil's mother, was seen coming out into the hallway at that time, carrying some trash bag. The woman yelps from almost tripping over a trash bag left in the hallway which was full of toys, but was unknown to her.

"Tommy!" Didi calls out to her oldest son in sounding annoyed that Tommy left a bag of trash here in the hall. "Hugh...he must be elsewhere, I'll have to deal with this myself." She sighs that her son was not around to answer her, so she bends down to pick up the trash bag to take it with her. Unaware that she didn't know that trash bag was filled with Tommy's old toys.

"Oh no, no, no." Pinkamena gulps a bit, fearing the worst.

"Oh no! That's not trash, that's not trash!" Mickey gasped in horror to look away seeing Deedee take the bag downstairs while unaware of what she actually took.

"Oh, this isn't good, we have to reach them before the trash men pick them up!" Minnie gasped with worry, they have to save those in the bag.

"Or worst, they could suffocate in there!" Pinkie exclaims frantically.

"Pinkie, we're toys." Twilight reminds Pinkie dryly. "We don't need air."

"Give us time."

"There's still time, I may reach them, what about you all?" Unknown ask the others, wondering what they would do.

"Um, well...speedy access. Gotta think, gotta think...come on Mickey. Wait, I got it!" Mickey was thinking how they can reach the others quickly, that's when he smiled at having an idea. He soon made a loud whistle noise with his right hand's fingers. "Spike, come here boy, come here now Spike!" Mickey was giving the call out for someone to come to them.

The sounds of paws and a jingle of a dog collar is heard, as Spike was seen entering the room. Of course, the years has taken its tow on the young dog. Spike himself is now old, tubby, saggy and panting, but he still came to the mouse toy nevertheless.

"Oh boy." Spike said uneasily at this. "The dog with my name is not the young dog he used to be."

"Yeah, now he's a lardo!" Pinkamena remarks with Gold Wing screeching in agreement.

"But I'm sure he's still the dog we all loved, right?" Fluttershy ask though she sound uncertain.

"All right, Spike, to the curb, come on...heeyah!" Mickey climbed aboard Spike's back while ordering him to get going.

"Um, Mickey...maybe that's...." Minnie felt a bit uncertain if this plan was going to work, but...

Unfortunately, disaster struck when Spike suddenly yawns and flops over to the floor. "GULP!" Mickey made a yelp cry as he got himself pinned in the progress when Spike flopped over. "Gwuuagh...No, Spike...No....um, a little help, PLEEEASE!" Mickey was seen gasping for air, as he felt himself being squashed under heavy pounds of doggy flesh.

"Hugh...this is what happens when toys do not account that pets, such as Spike, are no longer the energized trained dog he used to be when you pulled a fast act in that yard sale event." Unknown sighs in shaking his head at seeing this, while Spike would have been eager & able to help the toy mouse in the past, nowadays, Spike is too old & tire to do much physical task, which includes rescuing toys in need anymore.

"Face it, 'dis old doggy ain't what he used 'ta be." Applejack said with a sad sigh, shaking her head.

"Hmmmm....please Spike, get up!" Minnie bent down to help pull Mickey out, even asked the old dog to do this little thing, she can't pull Mickey out from so much dog weight. But the female mouse yelps as Spike rolled over both Mickey & Minnie while Figaro closed his eyes...then peeked out to see both gasping mice sit up after that experience.

Just then, a door slamming sound was heard which made Mickey, Minnie, the pony group & Figaro gasp while it made Unknown turn to the direction that sounded like it was outside. The toys then quickly rushed over to the window, seeing Didi dropping two trash bags near another trash bag on the curb...with one of them having the other toys inside.

"Brace yourselves...you won't like what's coming." Unknown issued this off with glowing white eyes, as it stating a serious matter.

As across the street of the neighborhood, there was a garbage truck coming down the street right now in collecting garbage...

"No!" Mickey & Minnie gasped to say this in horror, if they don't do something, their friends will be...trashed; literally!

"Not the trash collectors!" Twilight exclaims frantically.

Speaking of the toys in the trash bag, the bag itself moves from where the toys are in. Unknown what's going on now to what was happening around them, but some were beginning to get terrified of what was happening & what was going on outside...

"We're on the curb, we're on the curb!" Lola exclaimed in fear that from where they are & the bright light shining into the bag to the truck noise, they are...being thrown out.

"Oh brother, I knew it would come to this! I just knew it!" Donald exclaim with a groan to cover his eyes.

"Well Nicole, what do you have to say about THIS evidence of our situation? IT'S TRASH DAY & WE’RE THE TRASH!" Iago rolled his eyes to yell out that the smart computer toy lynx didn't see that they are DOOM here!

"I...well I..." Nicole was actually unsure herself in how to respond against the logical facts here, the toys see they are thrown out to be taken by the garbage truck, send off to a landfill where they may never be seen of played with again.

"Well, admit it! You're wrong, we're right!" Daffy exclaims angrily to Nicole.

"Calm down Macs, no sense in yelling at a little lady. So, here's a solution." Bugs spoke off in trying to not give up just yet. "Pull everyone! Pull with your lives on the line! Which eventually it does!" Bugs grabs the side of the bag in hopes to tear it open as he orders the others to help him out.

Mickey, Minnie, Figaro, the pony group & Unknown see the action, they must act fast before the garbage truck gets the trapped toys.

"Guys, we have to get down there, even if it's by something crazy." Mickey exclaimed to search from a pencil cup case to pull out scissors.

"Panic?" Fluttershy ask nervously.

"That's your solution to everything!" Rainbow exclaims to Fluttershy in annoyance.

"Well, we can't stand here an' do nothing!" Applejack exclaims in determination. Their friends need help!

"Mickey, wait!" Minnie tried to stop her love, but the male mouse toy leaps onto a drainpipe to start sliding down...which he hit the gutter to bounce off & land in the bushes. "Oh dear, that looks harder than it looks." The female mouse stated in seeing how bad that looks.

"You best hold onto me, action toys now how to handle such feats." Unknown issued to which Minnie picks up Figaro, held onto Unknown's back, as he leaps off to slide the drainpipe, then rebounds off the gutter to land gracefully in the bush near a fallen Mickey.

"Mickey, as you alright?" Minnie asked to check the mouse boy's condition.

"Ugh, I meant to do that." Mickey was trying to not be seen much like a fool in front of the mouse girl he likes so much.

"Coming down!" Pinkie calls out as the Mane Six, Spike, Pinkamena, Golden Heart and Gold Wing slid down the drainpipe safely.

"Well, we're down here, safe and sound." Golden Heart said with a nod.

Unknown turns away from the sight to stare off in seeing how the other toys in the bag are faring up

The scene focuses on the bag with the toys inside trying to struggle free to open the darn thing. Try as they might, it's not opening while the garbage truck is coming closer.

"Dugh, I don't think this is opening! It's not ripping!" Willie the Giant exclaimed with worry, they can't get this open.

"Oh forget it, this is hopeless, it's triple-ply high density polyethylene!" Iago remarked off to say this in seeing that the bag is made of much finer material that their stubble materials can't rip so easily.

"P-p-p-plus its r-r-r-r-r-rough!" Porky exclaims in agreement.

"Come on docs, think, there has gotta be a way out!" Bugs issued off with a frown that they have to figure out how to get out of this.

"The only way to escape is to use something with either a sharp point or an object that can press more to rip the density." Nicole explained that they need something to break this all but impossible bag that is keeping them inside.

"Aw phooey, Tommy doesn't even want us, so what's the point in trying?" Donald moans off to say this in thinking they can't get out of here, even if they did, where do they go when Tommy doesn't need them.

"Hmmm...point? Point...Point! That's it docs, we'll make out pointed point across!" Bugs repeated off before he smiled in having an idea to gaze at Willie &...his big & nearly pointy but smooth shoes.

"I hope your idea works, laughing boy, because we are going to be dead soon!" Daffy snaps to Bugs frantically.

At that moment, the garbage truck was seen about to nearly be at the other's location. Time was running out extremely fast...Inside, Willie's feet were pointed at the bag while everyone else was behind the giant toy.

"You sure this plan will work?" Daisy asked in having second thoughts about this.

"Bugs's plan to use Willies pointed shoes together should weaken the bag's structure if we all push hard enough." Nicole explained how Bugs was wanting to use Willie as their tool to escape.

"You heard her folks, so push! Push.....put your backs into it!" Bugs gave out the order, as he determinedly gave the orders for everyone to push with all their might.

"Uh oh! Dugh, I think I can hear the garbage truck coming!" Willie yelps in thinking the garbage truck was nearly upon them.

At that moment outside the bag, Willie's feet were making progress to just about pierce through the bag's fabric.

"Fee Five Fo Fum, I think it's getting closer some....." Willie was about to say this next line, but was cut off from a bunch of plastic over his mouth that muffled him when he went deeper as the other toys pushed.

After a brief moment, Mickey was using the scissors he got to cut his way through the bush. Unknown brought out his shield weapon to help even the states to cut through the weak branches. That's when the toys spotted the approaching garbage truck coming near the driveway where the other toys were; they must hurry.

"We got to hurry!" Golden Heart calls out to his friends.

"Follow me!" Unknown gave the order, as he took the running lead while the two mice & Figaro ran to catch up to the hooded guy.

Mickey's rescue team hid behind a mail box post, before glancing at the garbage man wearing headphones acting like he's playing an air guitar while banging to drum the mail box. As he was doing so, he empties the garbage can into the truck.

"Oh my...Mickey, doesn't this person seem familiar?" Minnie gasped in surprise puzzlement, so did Figaro. As Mickey turn as well as Unknown, they saw there was something familiar about this particular garbage man; even while wearing a work uniform. He has curly red hair with glasses and is wearing a striped purple short sleeved shirt, blue shorts, white socks and white-black shoes.

"He looks like someone you once told us about." Pinkamena said in concern at the garbage man in general.

"Maybe, but no isn't the time." Mickey issued off in thinking they got bigger things to worry about.

"Hmmm, so...he has recovered since 'that' incident, the Toy-Destroyer." Unknown mutters something to himself in stating that unknown to the other, this garbage man was actually Melvin Hargraves, a bad neighbor's child from next door to the Pickles before the latter family moved. Tommy's toys feared this old foe, until Mickey & Unknown worked with Melvin's twisted made craft toys in rescuing Bugs Bunny from being blown up by a rocket.

"Did you say something Unknown?" Minnie asked off in having to overhear their friend muffled something to himself.

"It is nothing, it is...an unknown subject that doesn't relate to what must be done now." Unknown waved off to say that what is currently going on now, must be done then recalling something of the past. "Besides, it would be only an old nightmare one was put through, & opening it up would react with such a wounded memory." He muttered off this stuff as a mystery, much to Minnie truly not following or for Mickey in that case, but they decided it was best left for a different time to discuss.

Mickey took the moment to quickly plunge the scissors into a trash bag, but nothing but trash came out.

"Ugh, that's not them! Waaah....let’s try again!" Mickey yelped in disgust before moving on to rip open another bag with the same result as before.

"Mickey, hide!" Minnie quickly grab Mickey, as they, the pony group, Figaro & Unknown quickly hid themselves behind either the mail box post or anything around to conceal them when the adult Melvin came.

Busy rocking out, Melvin grabs the last bags to toss them, into the truck before climbing into the running board on the vehicle's side, slaps the side then getting on the other side to single who was in front to drive off. The truck driver got the message to drive down the street, allowing Mickey, Minnie, the pony group, Figaro & Unknown to come out of hiding before rushing off to catch the truck before hiding behind a fire hydrant when the thing stops at the next house. But as Melvin hops off the side, he pulls a lever which caused the truck's compactor to lower & scoop up the trash bags in crashing them downwards.

Mickey, Minnie, the ponies, Spike & poor little Figaro gasped in horror, as they watch some more, the whole thing retracts, crunching the whole stuff it got like mad.

"Bugs!" Mickey exclaimed off in shock to seeing his good friend & the rest were...crushed.

"No...oh, poor Lola...poor Nicole...poor everyone." Minnie felt so sad that they were too late, their friends are gone, crushed into bits.

"We is too late." Applejack said in sadness while shaking her head. Their friends are gone.

Unknown watched this in seeing that from a view, it looked like they didn't save their friends in time...But then a strange noise was heard behind them that came from...the Pickles residence.

"Hmm...wait. It would seem not all is lost just yet." Unknown responded to the two sad mice toys that perhaps, the moment to grief is not needed.

Curious of what their black cloak hooded friend said, the other toys turn to the sound of the glass drop noise they heard as well. Seeing an odd sight to behold, it was an upside-down recycling bin scurrying on little feet into the Pickles' garage.

"Guys, do bins have feet?" Rainbow ask her friends puzzled.

"I don't think so." Rarity said in bewilderment and concern.

"Wait, I know those feet, it's our friends!" Spike exclaims in surprise.

"Oh....they're alive..." Mickey sighs along with Minnie & Figaro, even Unknown sounded relieved that their friends somehow got out of the trash bag just in time.

"But where are they going?" Minnie asked a good question, where were their friends going.

"Best we checked up & learn the answer ourselves." Unknown issued off to say this, as it was the only means to help gain an insight.

Quicker than anyone could disagree, the rescue team with Mickey ran off towards home to see what was going on.

Once inside the garage and in hiding, the toys cast off the recycle bin. Although they are safe now, the gang are still traumatized from what just happened to them, unable to believe what befell them...until now.

"Gwarsh, I can't believe it. Tommy threw us out." Goofy said off as he shakes his head in disbelief and sadness, why their kid do that?

"Like we were...garbage, can you believe it!?" Iago exclaim with a shudder to feeling like that was a shocker.

"Well, can you blame him?" Oswald ask Iago with a frown. "Wait, I take it back. We can!"

"'Junk'! He has the nerve to call us 'junk'!" Donald Duck exclaim in anger, how dare Tommy, after everything that the gang has done for that ungrateful shallow jerk.

"Now you see why we should abandon him!" Daffy snaps to Penelope bitterly.

"But...I'm sure that..." Penelope said uneasily. She of course is not sure what would decide Tommy's actions now.

"I am uncertain, I could not detect much, but his words were a mix of truth & lies." Nicole stated that though she was buried under the others in the toy chest, they don't know that Tommy didn't mean to call them junk.

"Well the truth is...WE’RE HERE!" Donald snapped off to the lynx girl for not seeing that they are in a pickle.

"How could he...? We were all his friends. Sniff..." Daisy Duck sobs a little, as she put her head on Donald's shoulder who comforts his gal from what they experienced as she lets off an emotional breakdown.

"I-I-I-I g-g-g-g-g-guess college is more b-b-b-b-b-better than f-f-f-f-friendship." Porky said in sadness, shaking his head.

"This doesn't make sense. This thing stinks worse than Elmer's gym socks & Yosemite Sam's sweaty mustache." Bugs said to himself with a frown to lean near a tire to think. Why would Tommy just turn his back on his toys now, calling them junk and tossing the gang out without warning....the rabbit felt even an instant, there was still the boy that loved them from when he was held with Mickey.

"I should've seen this thing coming miles away! It's like what happened with Serena all over again!" Lola exclaim furiously at seeing this familiar event, well, she isn't going to let herself and her pals go out like this. "There must be some way we won't go through that again!" The rabbit girl looks all over the garage in determination, maybe something here can help them out.

"Looks like our ditch soldier boy, Sarge, was right all along folks." Iago remark with a groan to issue who was right about this case.

"Yeah, and Mickey was in the wrong!" Donald remarks with a frown, what does that college mouse know anyway? "Not just him, Minnie too! And Unknown helped saved her, but left us to perish, and those ponies....dwooough, I'm so mad I can....BWAHAHAHAHAAAAHH!" The duck was losing it, Mickey & Minnie, the Mane Six and their pals, even Unknown weren't the ones who were going to get tossed out, & why didn't any of them come to help escape certain doom anyhow.

"I feel like losing my top now!" Oswald exclaims, feeling like losing it now.

"Wait, wait, hold on docs & crazy ducks! This is not time to be hysterical!" Bugs exclaim to the gang, trying to calm them all down. This is not the best time to panic or do anything drastic just yet.

"Oh, it's the perfect time to be hysterical!" Iago exclaim to Bugs madly about their situation.

"Should we be hysterical?" Willie asked Bugs in a hysterical like way to yell out his words.

"No!" Goofy exclaim to Willie in annoyance that they shouldn't be.

"Yes!" Donald snaps at Goofy right back over the objection.

"No!" Goofy snapped back again at the stubborn duck.

"Yes!" Donald snapped right back again here at the goofy dog.

"Okay docs, save that switch-a-roo of words for another time." Bugs cuts Donald & Goofy from going this comical event where nothing gets fixed. "As for being hysterical, well...let’s save it for maybe...but not right now, okay!" Bugs exclaim to the toys in frustration, they have got to figure out a way out of their problem. What to do now when in such a pickle?

"So what are we going to do?" Penelope ask worried. Everyone's future is still uncertain now.

"YESSSS! This is it! I found it!" The toys heard Lola Bunny exclaiming in glee. They turn to see the rabbit girl with herself smiling a bit. "Everyone listen up, I've got an idea on what to do!" She issued off to say in looking at the hatchback of Didi's car with a box label 'Sunnyside' on it that Dill put his stuff in.

The other toys looked at that general direction, some began to ponder a bit, recalling what Tommy's mom said, donate toys to a place where children need toys to play with. What if maybe...just maybe...that was the answer! The idea was filling many with the same thought....it could actually work.

Mickey, Minnie, the pony group & Figaro run off to catch up with Unknown from a tree to a landscape boulder, as they sneak towards the garage. After seeing their friends are safe, that's the good thing to motivate them. Now the College toys just need to explain what happened to end any madness before it spreads too far.

Unknown watched for any humans looking around so they don't get caught moving on their own. Mickey, Minnie, the ponies, Dragon and phoenix peeks out from behind a flowerpot, both of them saw a confusing sight.

"What the hay?" Mickey raised an eyebrow in seeing their friends climbing into that donation box in Didi's car.

"Oh Mickey, what are they doing now?" Minnie asked dumbstruck, seeing what the others were doing while Bugs stood outside while Lola helps the Duck triplets into the box itself while Nicole counted all that were going in.

"Looks like they're trying to...donate themselves." Twilight said in concern.

"Are they going to daycare too?" Pinkie ask her friends curiously. "How come we ain't going?"

"Tommy was bringing us 'ta college, remember?" Applejack reminds Pinkie of that fact.

"He was?"

"I believe this situation has changed more than what we expected?. Unknown issued off in seeing that something is about to occur, a change of what the toys are doing.

"I tell you guys, why didn't we do this years ago?" Lola asked off eagerly after helping the last toys in. "We don't have to fear of being rejected or toss out if we go to such a place." The 'rejected' toys will go to Sunnyside and be the toys to the kids there, and never fear of being tossed out.

"Come on, I go first, stupid!" Daffy snaps, pushing Porky aside.

"Q-q-q-q-quit shoving!" Porky exclaims to Daffy, annoyed by his colleague's pushing.

"Lola, hang on a second! What about Mic? What about Minnie? Heck, what about Unknown?" Bugs asked off in concern, as the toys can't just leave without telling their pals of what's going on. "And the Mane Six, Spike, Golden Heart, Pinkamena, and Gold Wing?"

"What about them?" Oswald ask bitterly.

"Come on, they're fine, Bugs! Tommy's practically taking them with Mickey to college, so they'll be together with him! Come on, we gotta go!" Lola insisted to say this in reasoning that Tommy is gonna take those he cares for with him, so they don't need to worry & be on their own way.

"Well...okay, you're right. Come on!" Bugs nodded off to think this was true as he helped the last toy up.

"Preparing for our destination..." Nicole issued off in what they shall be doing next here...knowing of where they are going.

As Bugs help pass the Duck triplets up into the donations, Mickey, Minnie, the Mane Six's group, Figaro & Unknown got into the garage to approach their friends.

"Bugs? Guys...?" Mickey asked off puzzled in what was this all about.

"Mickey, Minnie, ponies...even Figaro & Unknown!" Sora exclaim upon seeing his friends in surprise. "Ehhh, wha's up docs?" Looks like he and the others can tell those here of what's going on after all while saying their goodbyes.

"You should save the joking aside when you have been caught in the act." Unknown issued with a frown behind his hood.

"He does make a point, what are you all doing?" Minnie asked off in feeling pretty shocked to see this.

"Right, don't you all know that this box is for donations?" Mickey asked his friends in concern in knowing what they are signing up to do.

"Yeah, and for a daycare for kids?" Fluttershy ask in concern.

"Don't sweet your mousy whiskers, Mic. It's under control! You see, we have a plan!" Bugs smiled off in stating that they got a plan in how they are gonna do things.

"Dugh, yep! We're all going to daycare!" Willie explain eagerly in a joyful tone of what they get to do.

"Wait, did you say daycare?" Mickey exclaim in shock and disbelief as he, Minnie, Figaro, the pony group & Unknown climb into the car. Their friends think that Tommy was tossing them out and now they want to go to daycare, seriously, of all places? "What...have you guys lost your marbles?" The mouse boy asked off in thinking everyone's lost their minds here.

"Calculating....negative...there is a marble jar here." Nicole responded off in having to respond to the mouse's question.

"Marbles?! Can we play, huh huh huh?" Pinkie ask, bouncing up and down excitedly.

"Pinkie!" Rainbow groans a bit at her friends' randomness. Figures!

"Nicole, that isn't what we're talking about!" Minnie issued off to say this in knowing that they meant have the others lost it.

"But didn't you all see what happened? Tommy just up & threw us away!" Daisy exclaims to Mickey in sadness & sorrow about what happened to them.

"And doesn't care about us too!" Oswald exclaims in agreement.

"No, no, no, no. You got it all wrong. Tommy was putting you in the attic all this time, not throw you out!" Mickey approached to try to reason with the others in misunderstanding the situation here.

"Yeah, he wasn't going to throw you all away." Twilight said in agreement.

"Attic? Oh really? Then tell us, how did we end up on the curb?" Donald challenges Mickey skeptically in obviously, the toys in the trash bag didn't really know what was going on.

"That was a mistake! Tommy's mom thought you were trash!" Mickey issued off in trying to explain that Tommy's mother didn't know the trash bag was filled with toys, not trash.

"Yeah...after he put us in a trash bag!" Iago snaps at Mickey grudgingly to point off that if Tommy put them in a trash bag, then it stood reason they were trash.

"And called us 'junk'!" Daisy exclaim angrily in agreement about this.

"Oh now, he was under stress!" Golden Heart exclaims in frustration by the misunderstanding.

"He's right. One would be too if your mother wanted you to get rid of your ju...I mean toys!" Spike exclaims, correcting him on that part.

"But we saw it all, you weren't being thrown away...Tommy was distracted by Dil & didn't bring you up to the attic." Minnie was trying her hand to explain how the scene played out.

"Did any of you notice or hear strange things? The attic trapdoor was closing that it knock you across...without that ladder as proof, it stood to reason why the boy's mother thought otherwise." Unknown speaks to confirm the stunts that happened that may make those think otherwise about what happened to them was all a misunderstanding.

"It does stand to reason with logic of what occurred during our travel & who really held us the whole time." Nicole spoke in having to have this information process, it would make sense of what happened to them.

"Yeah, I got to agree on that." Penelope said in agreement. It does make sense to her now.

"Save it Nicole, Penelope, the MOOK deserted us & then DUMPED us! Could you see through the bag?" Iago snapped off for Nicole and Penelope to get serious, they couldn't see through the bag to know what happened.

"Well, no...I couldn't." Nicole shook her head in having not had the moment to perform such feats that would have been helpful.

"Guys, listen, we know it looks bad, but you gotta believe me!" Mickey insists to his friends in concern in knowing that out of those that saw what happened, the whole misunderstanding is making a worse scene. "I mean, it's like the time Bugs came into our lives, and...well, we know how that adventure went down." The mouse once tried to get everyone to believe him when he push Bugs out the window & when he had Bugs, they doubted him until they saw the real thing.

"Yep, I remember it...you jealous of me, knock me out a window, turned everyone against you....ehh, quite the memorable stuff." Bugs shuffle off his hands in recalling how such things pretty much was hard for the rabbit toy to learn he was just a toy at that time.

"Sure, like we'll take in the words from you, 'College Mouse'!" Donald remarks off towards Mickey sarcastically that with the toy off to college, he's special then the rest. "Goes double for Minnie, your pals & Unknown, they're getting the college treatment while we...get the boot!" The duck grumbles to himself softly. "I say now, this just bites...." Donald made his point, typical that Mickey try to say that stuff since he obviously wouldn't want to let Tommy go as the boy likes him & likes Minnie enough to bring her, the Mane Six group & Unknown, unknowingly, has all the right stuff to stick with the older Tommy.

"Well, someone is still jealous." Pinkamena comments in amusement by Donald's attitude.

"He never could change." Golden Heart said in agreement.

"Guys, face it, Tommy is moving on. Time we did the same." Lola said sternly to her friends as she & the others duck into the box, pulling the flaps shut.

Mickey couldn't believe how stubborn his friends are, not wanting to believe the truth from him. As he, Minnie, Unknown, the Mane Six’s group, Figaro, Bugs & Nicole were the only ones still outside the box.

"All right, this is ridiculous! Come on guys, you gotta get out of that box! Come on! Come on!" Mickey exclaim to the gang in annoyance, issuing a stern order here. Of course the toys in the box would not come out, so he heads over around the box and begins to push it. "Bugs, give me a hand here. Together with Minnie, Nicole, ponies & Unknown...we can move this. We got to get this thing outta here before Tommy's mom comes in." Mickey explained the plan in what they have to do here.

"Oh, alright Mickey." Minnie replied off as she, the ponies, even Figaro came near the backside to help Mickey push the heavy box.

"Get your flanks out of there before we pull them out!" Rainbow exclaims angrily to the stubborn ones.

"What say you?" Unknown turn to Nicole, will she aid them...or was something distracting the lynx girl?

"I'm...uncertain of the logical output...between what maybe best, for all of us." Nicole look down in being unsure what course of action maybe the correct path to go with.

"Alright, hang on Mic & Minnie!" Bugs looks at the two mice toys with a concern look on his face. "We gotta figure out what may be best for everyone here...I mean, it's not like we're going anywhere." Bugs was trying to make a point as Lola peeks out through a hole in seeing what was going on.

Unfortunately, at that moment, the hatchback of the car was shut from the outside that made the toys become a bit more alert. While those in the box were wondering of what was happening, the ones outside lean down in seeing who was coming...Tommy's mom, Didi. Didi got into the driver's seat, started the car while the other toys hid around the back part of the box in seeing...their way out is a no go.

"It appears, I stand corrected." Bugs corrected himself in seeing that when he said 'we're not going anywhere', it turns out he was mistaken.

"This isn't good." Twilight said, whimpering in sadness.

"Oh no, no, no! It'll take us nearly forever to get back here!" Mickey groans off to complain in seeing this was a fine mess to be in.

"Correction, the distance from our location to Sunnyside is only some hours away by car. If we don't miss a return opening, then we can skip 12 hours of a toy's pace." Nicole calculated the math equation of how long it take them to get back home.

"Not helping!" The Mane Six complains.

"Oh my, that does sound hard!" Minnie held Figaro close to her in not knowing what things await them that they have to be in the car or walk back home.

"It's like our rescue attempt for Mickey all over again, only this time...are we really rescuing anyone in need?" Unknown shook his head in seeing that this was like deja vu from when Mickey was kidnapped; but now the question is, will the other toys wanna be saved to come home...or not?

Didi was seen having pulled her car out of the garage & out of her driveway, before shifting her vehicle in gear to head off to her destination; Sunnyside Daycare. All while not suspecting some extra toy passengers in her donation box.

Hoo boy, most of the toys think that Tommy abandon them and are heading to Sunnyside with the ones who knew the truth. In the next chapter, we see the daycare itself which is run by a green hedgehog Scourge and his pals. We also meet some new characters as well. Read, review and suggest.
