“They’re playing it again?” Pixel Bit asked as she and Icy Storm enjoy dinner at a small diner.

“Pixel, do you think the Gundam Meisters actually exist?” Icy asked.

“Huh?”

“Do you really think there are ponies out there who would take action even if there’s nothing in it for them?”

“Well, your mom and her friends all did something like that, and they didn’t get anything in return most of the time.”

“Yeah, but that’s because they had to do it since they’re the Elements of Harmony. These guys want to eliminate war because they want to do it.”

“…no matter what the reason or excuse if there is an evident act of war being carried out, we will commence intervention with our force…” Celestia finally turns the television off, having had enough of that statement.

“Do you really think that those guys are serious?” Starfall asked.

“Well, they did save all of us form those terrorist earlier today.” Candy pointed out.

“They also defeated Gorn Industries newest model so easily,” Spitfire added.

“But they also said that they seek no personal gain,” said Twilight. “Do you think they’re telling the truth.”

“Well, we intervene in the wars of our allies to help ensure the safety of out citizens.” Celestia said. “If they do have a reason, it’s probably something we’re gonna have to oppose.”

“And the only way to know what they want is to talk to a Gundam Meister, but we have no idea who they are or where they’re at.” Nidra added.

“What else do you think the Gundams can do?” Rainbow asked.

“I know one thing; those machines are something else.” Spitfire said. “Their combat performance is one thing but when they showed up radar, communications and electronic devices were all disrupted. And it was caused by that light.”

“Do you know what that light was, Mom?” Starburst asked.

“As far as I can tell, they’re some kind of special particle.” Twilight answered. “As for the light itself, it’s most likely cause by a photonic decay phenomenon.”

“A special particle?” Starfall asked.

“And it’s not just the particles. I think those machines have other secrets as well.” Twilight added.

“Hey, where Illusion and Crescent Moon go to?” Claire asked, having just knot iced that the two are now gone.

“Our latest model and it was defeated so easily.” One of the Knights said as he and the others of his class, along with King He-Ll, review the footage of the fight that took place earlier.

“Does this mean that we’ll have to postponed Phase 2?”

“There’s more to it than that.” Knight At-Lass spoked up. “Our activities have gone public. Everyone on Terra now knows we have a far lager base in Bisonia than it’s laws allow. They all want to know what else we’re hiding.”

“But how did the Gundam Meisters find out about the base? If they hacked into Quanta then their base should be decimated by now.”

“There are only two things we know for certain,” King He-Ll said, quieting all the Knights. “This group is run by humans, which we presumed to have wiped out 1000 years ago. And they posses mobile suits that are far superior to anything we have; mobile suit Gundam.”

“Looks like we’re the top news story in every single country,” Lance said as he reads the paper. Imamu is cooking breakfast while Amanda and Hilary are helping.

“Why isn’t that surprising?” Wu asked.

“Listen to the headline; ‘A mysterious group declares that it will eliminate war.’” Lance read.

“I have a feeling that none of them think we can do it.” Amani said as she gives Snowflake some milk.

“Then we’ll have to make them believe.” Amanda said. “Where’s our next mission?”

“Illusion!” Claire called out as she searched around the castle for her sweetheart. “Lulu! Where are you? Lulu! Ugh! Where did he go to this time?”

Canterlot Castle throne room

“Where did Illusion go to?” Celestia asked as she and Discord search.

“Princess Celestia!” A royal guard suddenly said as he barged into the room.

“What is it?” Celestia asked, when a thought hits her: “Don’t tell me Illusion pulled another prank on Blueblood.”

“No. It’s the Gundams,” the mention of the word Gundam hit Celestia and Discord like a ton of bricks. “They’ve been spotted over the ocean. Six of them.” He added as he shows them a picture.

“So there are six Gundams,” Discord said under his breath.

“Where are they heading to?” Celestia asked the guard.

“We’ve estimated their currant path to be towards the borders between the Zebra Land and Aquestria.”

“Didn’t we send troops to help the zebras in the war?” Discord asked his wife.

“Incredible! Is this one of their armed interventions?” Celestia asked.

“The Gundams are making their next move already?” King He-Ll asked. “Where?”

“It looks like the war over the land rights between the Zebra Nation and Aquestria.” The Warrior answered.

“Arn’t we aiding the Sea Ponies in that conflict?” Knight At-Lass asked.

“Inform the captain immediately,” the Sea Pony general said to a subordinate.

“Yes, sir,” he said as he swims out of the office.

This could work to our advantage. Especially if we get our hoofs on those Gundams. The general thought.

QN 001-TS Dusk Shine MF mode

June 22, 3330 AD

0823 hours

“Currently Aquestria and the Zebra Nation are at war with each other. This is because of an earthquake that happened 5 years ago. The earthquake caused a rich portion of the Zebra Nation to slid into the ocean. The sea ponies of Aquestria had quickly claimed it as their own, for it was now an island half-submerged in the water, now called Aquania. A peace talk was initiated by Princess Twilight and Princess Celestia a month afterwards. But something happened in Equestria that caused Princess Twilight to leave the talks early. Even though Celestia tried her best, the talks only lasted for about a year before a zebra assassin killed the Sea Ponies representative, resulting in the war.” Chrysalis said over the comlink.

“All of this because of a simple earthquake?” Imamu asked.

“We’re going to use force to intervene.” Lance said. “I want most of the firepower focused on the Gorn facilities and mobile weapons that the Sea Ponies are using. Since we’re not dealing with Gorns we’ll have the casualty rate as low as possible.”

8:25 a.m.

“They’re going to intervene in the Zebra Nation-Aquestria war?” Twilight asked.

“That wouldn’t be a problem now if somepony hadn’t caused you to leave the talks early,” Prism said as he scold at Starburst and Starfall.

“It’s not their fault.” Celestia said. “Right now we need to inform all of the Royal Guards stations there of what is happening.”

“If I recall correctly we didn’t intervene in the war until Gorn Industries began adding the Sea Ponies 3 years ago.” Said Luna. “That was when we began adding the Zebra Nation.”

“Right.” Celestia said as she looks at the picture. She then notices that one of the Gundams, the mobile fighter that took out the missiles and two of the Shadow Light mobile suits yesterday, had something attached to it. “What is this?” She asked.

Looking closely, Twilight immediately knows what that strange object attached to the Gundam is. “That … looks like a bombing module.”

“Wait a sec!” Spitfire suddenly said as she takes the picture. “The one me and Crescent Moon saw isn’t in here.”

“Maybe it is,” said Luna. “Arn’t some mobile suits capable of transforming?”

“Yeah.”

“Well, maybe that other fighter in the picture is the Gundam you saw at the demonstration yesterday?” Luna asked. It took a second for Spitfire to think. Looking at the picture, specifically the other fight, she sees that it has the exact same coloring and wings as the Gundam from yesterday.

“You’re right, Princess. But that won’t help the royal guards on that island much if the Gundams attack them.”

“Which is why I sent a message to warn them,” Celestia said. “With any luck, nopony will be hurt by these Gundams.”

Conflict Zone

Sixtary 22, 1035 ANM

8:25 a.m.

The two sides battled over a shell-marked and war-scarred desolate plain. As the zebras and Equestrian royal guards fought using hit-and-run tactics, the Sea Ponies were mostly using one of Gorn Industries Earth mobile suit models, the Earth Bullet. It’s large and dragon-like in appearance. It’s about 17.3 m tall and are all dark blue in color. They have a long ‘neck’ and only one, red ‘eye’, below which is a machine gun. Its gait is also reptilian, as the legs move out from the body, instead of being directly below it. On its left ‘arm’ is a giant pistol.

Several Earth Bullets fires grenade at the Royal Guard and zebras. They scatter as the grenade lands and explodes, sending shrapnel everywhere. The large pieces slices apart anypony or zebra unlucky enough to be near it.

Just as the Earth Bullet that fired the grenade is about to fire another one, a giant magic laser hits it. It flies for several meters before hitting the ground and explodes. Up on a nearby hill, the source of the laser is a cannon around the size of a bus.

Four unicorn Royal Guards — two on each of its sides — place their horns in special hole in the cannon. Using their magic, the Royal Guard unicorns power the cannon up as a pegasus guard aims it at another Earth Bullet. “Target acquired.” The cannon fires a giant laser at an Earth Bullet, and when it hits its sent flying. Once it lands it explodes.

Almost immediately several tanks roll out and destroy another Earth Bullet. “We’ve destroyed 30% of the enemy’s forces. Keep pushing until we wipe them all out!” The captain of the Royal Guards stationed there said.

“Captain!” A pegasus guard suddenly said as he flies down to him. “I have an emergency message from Princess Celestia.”

“What does she want?” The leader of the zebra asked.

“The Gundam Meisters are on their way.” The pegasus answered, receiving a few stares of shock and worry form his fellow soldiers.

“Warn all guards and zebras currently on the battlefield.” The captain ordered.

5 kilometers from the island of Aquania

QN 001-TS Dusk Shine MF mode

June 22, 3330 AD

0830 hours

“Everyone take action according to my combat forecast. I’m expecting to see a decent performance form you guys,” Lance said over the comlink.

“Decent is okay with me,” said Amani.

“I think I prefer to be thorough.” Imamu replied.

“Same here,” Wu said.

“I just hope we can get this over with soon.” Amanda added.

“Suit yourself. Oh, and Lance. Don’t bother saying it.” Hilary said.

“Saying what?”

“Ya know, the whole ‘I am Gundam’ thing you’ve always say before we start a mission.”

“I never say that before every mission!” Lance shouted, when he notices something. Hilary didn’t have her usual, cheery attitude. Her voice sounded cold. And he wasn’t the only one who had noticed.

QN 006-R Gundam Evasive

“Is something wrong, Hilary?” Amanda asked.

There was no response for a few seconds. She finally spoke after a bit; “Its just … Don’t they realize that they can share that island instead of fighting over it.”

“Sorry Hilary, but I don’t think they understand that,” Amani said.

“Well, then I’m going to make them understand!” Before any of the others could say anything, Hilary rushes off towards the conflict zone at high speed.

“Hey! Hilary!”

“You and Amanda go babysit the kid, Lance.” Wu said as he splits off.

“What!?”

“What!?”

“If it’s alright with you, I’ll go to that base now,” Amani added as she heads to the islands north end.

“Now executing mission,” said Imamu as he flies off towards the coastline.

“Why does it have to be either me or Amanda, or both of us?” Lance asked.

“Come on! Guys!”

“Sucks to be you. Sucks to be you.” Violet teased.

“Ain’t that the truth?” Lance said. “I’ll give Hilary some ground support. Amanda you take care of long rang firing.”

“Right. That means the Evasive maneuvers are up to you, Violet.” Amanda said as the Evasive’s ‘horn’ splits, showing the sniper scope.

Conflict Zone

The Earth Bullets are firing at the zebras and Royal Guards at a close distance. As one guard tries to stand up after barely avoiding bullet, an Earth Bullet suddenly appears near him a few feet away. It aims the cannon it its arm at the guard and prepares to-

A pink beam suddenly destroys the cannon on the Earth Bullets arm — along with the arm itself. Looking towards it source, the guard sees a white, pink and black Gundam carrying a beam scythe landing near them. “They’re here. The Gundam Meisters.”

Suddenly he hears the pilot of the Gundam; “Sorry to cut in, but I have a job to do.” The Gundam then charges towards the Earth Bullet and slices it in half with its pink beam scythe.

“That voice…! It’s a little girl.” Said the guard, when he realizes that he’ll get killed if he stays. Taking his chance to return to his platoon he runs as fast as he can. But he’s soon caught in the line of fire for another Earth Bullet. It prepares to fire at him, when a large beam blast incinerates its head. This time the guard sees a mobile fighter jet as it transforms into a mobile suit. Unfolding its giant sword it prepares to fight some Earth Bullets.

An Earth Bullet tries to ambush it, but the winged Gundam runs around it before slicing it in half. Jumping into the air it lands on another Earth bullet, crushing it. One near it tries to punch it, but the Gundam ducks and slices it in half. Shaking off the awestricken fax she had, he runs too his platoon stationed on a nearby hill.

Suddenly a giant laser is fired at the winged Gundam, who only has enough time use his shield to protect his head. “They really need a restraining order on the heavy cannon,” the guard mumbled as he looks to where the Gundam was. There’s a trail of smoke and dust that goes on for several meters. “Did they get him?” As the smoke clear, he sees that the Gundam is still standing, and thats not the most shocking thing!

“Not a scratch!? The heavy cannon, which has enough power to kill a dragon, didn’t even scratch it!? What kind of armor-” Several explosions suddenly happen above him. Looking up, he sees another Gundam, carrying a sniper rifle, floating in the air. It fires at the heavy cannon first before destroying the other weapons his platoon has. “This has not been my day.”

QN 004-FS Gundam Sand Dune MF mode

Amani is close to the Sea Ponies port where most of their weapons are stored and repaired. Using her Gundams systems, she sees that the Sea Ponies are already preparing to evacuate and take any weapon they can. “Sand Dune. Moving on to bombard targets.” As she nears the base, Amani activates the C-Gear, releasing 10 bombs over the base. They destroy a good potion of the base as she flies over it. “Now I’ve become a mass murderer. But if it means saving this world form the fate that ours suffered, then so be it!”

Making a u-turn, Amani drops the module and lowers near the tree line. As the Sea Ponies fire at her, she changes her Gundam to its mobile suit mode, shocking many of the Sea Ponies. “Did that thing just transform!?” A solider asked, when the Gundam suddenly turns towards them. Taking a shotel, it slashes apart an Earth Bullet suit before taking a beam pistol and firing at another.

It stays still for a few moments before exploding. “This is what a Gundam Meister has to do.”

QN 005-RD Lightning Flash Gundam

Wu is destroying an Equestria Royal Guard camp. Well, he’s actually just tearing apart some of the tents and tasting aside the weapons. “How come I always get the easy jobs?” He asked himself as he crushes a cannon.

QN 003-AJ Gundam Rapidfire

A cargo ship belonging to Gorn Industries is near the islands shores. Several Shadow Bullet mobile suits are firing at Imamu, but they’re so far away that they either miss or the shots have little effect on his Gundams armor. “Rapidfire. Target located. Proceeding to eliminate.” He opens the cannons on his Gundams shoulders, and 10 GN Missiles are launched at the ship. Once they penetrate the ship explodes, splitting in two as a fireball rises up into the sky.

QN 006-R Gundam Evasive

Amanda is aiming at some zebra and royal guards. They all stare in a mixture of shock and terror as the pink one and winged one turn towards them. Realizing they have no hope, the captain decides to do something he has never done before; “Fall back. Fall back!” He commanded.

Agreeing that was the best solution, all of the Royal Guards and zebra turn tail and run towards the nearest base. “That’s it. I think it’s over now.” Amanda said.

“I’ll go see how Amani is doing.” Said Hilary as she flies off somewhere.

“Hmm, that girl is one-”

“Thanks for the help!” Someone suddenly said.

“What!?” Amanda asked, when she notices that a couple of Sea Pony soldiers piloting Earth Bullet suits are running after the Equestrians and zebras.

“The enemy’s running scared! Now’s out chance to pay them back!”

“Those idiots!” Amanda said as she quickly grabs her GN Sniper Rifle, when she notices that Lance isn’t moving. He’s just standing there as the two Earth Bullets get closer; he’s not doing anything. Just as the two Earth Bullets are about to pass him, Lance suddenly slashes the one to the right, before his cuts open the one on his left. The mobil suits fall to the ground and explode. Lance then withdraws his sword and calms down. “Lance…”

“I am … Gundam.” He said, not caring that he said in the comlink.

"I knew that he would say that eventually!" Said Hilary.

Main Street

Sixtary 22, 1035 ANM

9:00 a.m.

“I can't wait to head back home!” Pixel said as she and Icy trot towards the train station.

“Yep. I finally know what I’m suppose to be. I wonder how Mom, Dad, Prism, Whirlwind and everypony else are doing?” Icy thought out loud, wondering if he's going to have a nephew soo-

“The Gundam Meisters were there?!” Somepony suddenly said, getting the couple’s attention.

“Yeah! They performed an armed intervention in the Zebra Nation-Aquestria war. And they attacked both sides!” The other one replied.

“What?”

“Attacked both sides?” The two asked, looking at each other in worry. “If they keep doing that then they’ll just piss everyone off,” Icy said.

9:05 a.m.

“Madness! A single intervention and they think that’ll end a war that’s been raging for nearly five years?” Twilight asked.

“They’re not planning on intervening just one time, Twilight.” Flash said to his wife. “They plan to intervene as many times as necessary until the war is over.”

“I still can’t believe Illusion isn’t here,” Night Light said.

“He’s nowhere in Canterlot,” Claire said. “Illusion takes his royal duties so seriously, so why would he just leave after the Gundam Meisters statement except … to…” She stopped mid-sentence, realizing what she was about to say.

Celestia and Discord also realize this, their eyes beginning to widen in worry. “You don’t think he’s…”

“I do.”

QN 002-PP Death Blades

June 22, 3330 AD

0910 hours

“What happened to Lance and Amanda?” Hilary asked. “They weren’t shot down, were they?”

“They went on ahead of us.” Wu answered. “They wanted to make sure nothing surprised us.”

“So Amani, when do you think they’ll hook up?”

“Who? Lance and Amanda? I’m not sure. Maybe in 6-9 months?”

“I say 5 weeks to 1 year.”

“You two never let up on that, do you?” Imamu asked. “It’s getting real old.”

“Boy, I’ll say.” Wu added.

QN 001-TS Gundam Dusk Shine MF mode

“If I know Hilary and Amani, then they’re probably talking about romance.” Amanda said.

“Probably about-”

Suddenly the E-Sensor detects a ship ahead. “What is it?”

“It looks like an Equestrian transport ship.”

“What’s it doing out here?” She asked, when something fast leaves the ship towards them.

“A mobile suit!” Lance gasped as he switches his Gundam to its mobile suit mode. Soon they see the suit. It looks like a fighter jet with a white and yellow paint job. Suddenly the thrusters fold downward and two arms fold out, the left one grabbing the nose, which is really a linear riffle. Its face is mostly orange with no clear optic sensors. It seems to be 18.5 meters tall.

It then grabs a plasma sword and charges towards the Dusk Shine. Acting quickly, Lance uses his GN Sword to block the Equestrian mobile suit’s attack. “Pleased to make your acquaintance, Gundams.” The pilot said over the speakers.

Lance gasps when he recognizes the voice. That voice! Is that…?

“Yeah, and who are you?” Amanda asked over her Gundams speakers.

“Prince Illusion!”

How do you understand something you’ve never seen before? This is a question asked by many as the Gundam’s continue their armed interventions.
