After hours of hard work, many of the facilities of the old castle are back to full capacity, including the bathing rooms and kitchen. In the girls bathing room, Amanda and Hilary are relaxing as they lie in a hot spring. “This is what I’ve been missing.” Said Amanda.

“I still can’t believe there was a natural hot spring in this castle. The Princesses sure did their homework on where and how this place was built, huh?” Hilary asked.

“Yep. I haven’t had a good, clean bath like this in 1000 years.” The two girls laugh at that comment.

“I wish Amani was here, though,” Hilary said, slightly said. “She would love this!”

“She would. Though she’s probably gonna be really nervous about getting naked around someone, even if it’s us.”

Hilary giggles at the thought. “Yeah. She’s such a shy and quiet soul. Speaking of getting naked in front of someone…” She eyed Amanda, who blushes when she realizes what she’s going to say. “Do you want to tell Lance about your crush on him, or should I do it?”

“Will you please drop that already! Dahling, I acknowledge that Lance is an intelligent person, but I do not like him whatsoever!”

“Then why do you blush so much whenever you, me and Amani talk about him, especially about his ‘gorgeous violet eyes’?”

“Well I … Its just that … Never mind!” Amanda hastily left the spring, wrapped a tower around herself and leaves.

“She likes him.”

Baltimare, Equestria

Horseshoe Bay

In Baltimare’s Horseshoe Bay the ship that Amani, Imamu, their Gundams and the changelings are on nears the port. “Welcome to Equestria, everypony.” A dockworker said as he and several others wait for any orders. “Anything we can do for you?”

“Yes,” Amani, disguised as a light yellow pegasus with a bright pink mane and three birds for a cutie mark. “We have … two incredibly heavy payloads we need to deliver to Ponyville today. We need a two trucks that can carry 25 metric tons at least.”

“We can get something like that. You heard the mare. Go get trucks like that!” The head dockworker said as one works a crane to carry the Sand Dune — with a large white sheet covering it, making it look like several large crates — out of the ship. Soon the trucks arrive and Amani, Imamu and the disguised changelings leave the city for Ponyville.

2130 hours

Its close to midnight at the ports of the city. Everything is quit as a Gorn Industries supply ship prepares to leave. But underwater, the Gundam Nezha attaches itself onto the bottom of the ship. “Nothing to report.” A Drone said to another as they change shifts.

“Roger.” The other said as the first leaves. “Boring old guard duty until we reach the secret Equestria base? Talk about lame.” Suddenly, something really hard and fast hits the side of his neck, breaking it. The Drone begins to fall to the ground, but his attacker grabs him and drags him under a fighter jet. It’s Wu.

“Drone 1340, what’s going on? Is something wrong?” A Commander asked over the dead Drones comlink.

“No problems here, sir. Just chased away some stowaway is all.” Wu answered.

“Just make sure no one else gets on this ship before we leave. We need to get to the hidden Equestria base to get ready for the beginnings of Phase 2.”

“Roger that.” Wu said, waiting to makes sure the Commander turned off his end of the comlink, before thawing the device overboard. “There’s no way we’re gonna let you do that.”

“I’m counting on you, Commander.” No-Ble said as he, Lo-Vee and Knight En-Act oversee the restoration of the Fenice mobile suit.

“Don’t worry about a thing. The staff here are highly skilled. I’ll make sure it gets completed within 2 months at most.”

“Are you positive that this 1000-year-old suit is gonna be any use to us?” A skeptical Lo-Vee asked.

“I have to agree with the Princess. This suit was lucky that it didn’t get turned into scrap. How many systems do we need to replace?” En-Act asked.

“It’s probably more advance than any mobile suit that the armada has created since the Earth invasion.”

“You’re kidding, right?”

“There’s no chance about that.”

“Think about it. This Fenice suit is the prototype of all of the armadas mobile suits. And it was created by captured human scientists who escaped. Its possible that those scientists went on to create the Gundams.”

“The Gundams?”

“And you’re sure about that?”

On the outskirts of the town, Cheese Sandwich gets off of the truck Imamu’s Gundam is on. “So I’ll see ya around.” Cheese said to the human disguised as a zebra.

“Just don’t blab about what’s gonna happen. We’ll be at that ancient castle in the forest.” Imamu said as he drives off.

“Time to see Pinkie and her three daughters. When was the last time I saw them? Ten years ago?”

Outside the castle, Lance, Amanda and Hilary are waiting for the others. “I can’t wait to meet Amani’s new friends!” Hilary happily said, literally jumping with excitement. Just then, two large trucks arrive. “Amani!” Hilary happily said as she tackles the girl as she leaves the truck.

“Hilary!” Said Amani as the pink-haired girl gives a bear hug. “Can’t breath!” Hilary then lets go. “Still have that grip, huh?”

“Yep! Long time no see, Snowflake!” Hilary giggled as she pets Amani’s pet cat for a bit before they all enter the castle.

Sugarcube Corner

Quintnary 12, 1035 AD

1:30 p.m.

Cotton Candy flung her dishcloth around where her neck and back connected and sighed. She took a look at Sugarcube Corner. It was literally sparkling. Nothing was out of place. "Job well done, Candy." She said.

“As usual, everything is in perfect order.” Sugar Rush said to her older sister.

“It still amazes me at how neat you need to have everything!" Cloudy Skies added, making the eldest sister smiled.

“What can I say? I have OCD like Princess Twilight.” She said.

“Yep! Ya do!” The sisters laugh at Sugar’s remark, when they hear a knock on the door. Not waiting somepony to ruin the perfectly ordered restaurant she finished cleaning so early, Candy went to the door and opened it. She closed her eyes and inhaled deeply before reciting the lines she had done before.

"Sorry, but Sugarcube Corner opens at 2:00 p.m. on Sundays.” She said. "We'll be happy to make you some yummy treats then." She opened her eyes and smiled.

“Nice to see you too, Candy.” Cheese Sandwich said with a smile.

“Uncle Cheesy!” Exclaimed the three Pie siblings as they quickly give Cheese a tight hug.

“Wow! This place is bigger than I thought,” Amani said as she and the others enter the old dinning hall. The Sand Dune and Rapidfire are currently being placed in the room as well. “I could spend hours exploring this place.”

“You might have too. The old castle is full of hidden chambers and secret passageways that we’re still learning about.” Lance said. “But we’re still a long way to go before this becomes a working base.”

“Good thing we got about 100 more helpers with us.” Said Hilary as she points to the changelings.

“We’ll help in any way we can. We still need to repay our debt to Amani here for saving us.” Chrysalis said.

“You really don’t have to do that,” said Amani.

“But it’s much appreciated,” Amanda added. “We just need to get some equipment from the Ark to help hide this place from the Gorns.”

“In the meantime we need to get ready for our next mission,” Imamu pointed out.

“Right. There’s a hidden Gorn base somewhere on Equestria’s border, specifically near the ocean. Unfortunately we don’t know where.” Lance said.

“They even built bases in this peaceful country!? And you don’t even know where!?” A shocked armored changeling asked.

“Yeah. But Wu is currently on his way to the base,” he added. “But we’ll worry about that later. Right now we need to work on our base.”

As the changelings begin the final touches of the halls and dinning area, Chrysalis and Violet watch over the Gundams as the 5 meisters levee for town for a bit while some changelings do the last maintenance jobs on them. “Repair the Active Mass Balance Auto-Control. Repair the Active Mass Balance Auto-Control.” Violet ordered.

“I don’t like the idea of taking orders from a machine,” one of the changelings said under his breath.

“Just get the maintenance done. Remember we don’t know anything about these machines so we need to listen to Violet here.” Chrysalis pointed out.

“Yes, you should. Yes, you should.”

“Annoying little bi-”

“Don’t go there!” Chrysalis threatened. Looking out of one of the many gaps in the walls, Chrysalis looks over to the distant mountain of Canterlot, and sighs. Celestia… Luna… Cadence and Shining Armor… Elements of Harmony… Will you ever forgive us?

“Feeling remorse, Chrysalis? Feeling remorse, Chrysalis?” Violet asked, having noticed Chrysalis sighing again.

“Huh. Yeah. I guess so.”

“This town is just so quiet and peaceful.” Amani said as she and the others walk through the towns market. There were stands selling corn, carrots, cherries, and …

"Apples! Get yer fresh apples here!" An orange mare with a blonde mane and a cowboy hat said, sidling up to Amani. She was wearing a saddlebag full of fresh apples. "Mah good friend, I haven't seen ya'll before..."

"Gah!" Amani shriek, jumping back behind Lance.

“Oops. Mah bad,” the mare said, slightly ashamed, when she noticed who Amani was hiding behind. “Lance? Is this mare yer friend?”

“Yes, Mrs. Applejack. She and Imamu here just moved here.” Lance said as he guessers toward Imamu.

“Oh. Well, sorry for scarin’ yer friend there. I’ll be on my way now.”

“Oh, it’s okay,” Amani said as she slowly approaches Applejack. “I … Just don’t like surprises like that very well. You can call me Amani, if that’s all right with you.”

“I assume you own that apple orchard we saw on our way here?” Imamu asked.

Applejack lit up instantly. "Yessir! We harvest the best apples in all of Equestria!”

“Ma, Lance, Hilary, Amanda! Who’s yer new friends?” Golden Delicious asked as he trots up to the group.

“This is Amani and Imamu!” Hilary answers as she suddenly takes some apples and gives Del a small bag of bits.

“We should get going soon.” Amanda said. “We still have to get some things.”

“Right. We’ll see you later.” Said Lance as the 5 leave the mother and mama's boy.

“Ah’m beginning to think that Starburst was right about them,” Del said as he watches the 5 suspiciously.

“What da ya mean, Del?”

“Starburst had been suspicious of them for a while now. And, for some reason, ah can’t shake this foreboding feelin’ that their hidin’ somethin’.”

1200 hours

As the 5 finish getting some food, a sudden ring is heard in their ears. It’s their comlinks. Taking a moment to make sure no one is close enough to hear, they answer the call. “Yes?” Amanda asked.

“We got a message from Wu. He’s almost at the Gorns hidden base.” Chrysalis said. “It’s in Fog Bay, just southwest of the Smoky Mountain.”

“‘Fog Bay’?” Imamu asked as they hurriedly run back to the castle in the forest.

“Its called that because of the fog thats there all year long.”

“A perfect place to hide a base,” said Lance as they leave the city limit of Ponyville.

1230 hours

"Sorry we’re late!” Lance said as he and the others place the food near the thrones before they head to serpent rooms to put on their suits.

“It’s okay.” Said Chrysalis. “I just hope you kill every Gorn and destroy that base!”

“Will do,” said Amanda, the first to leave, already wearing her suit and helmet. Soon the rest follow as she picks up Violet and heads for the former dinning hall turned hanger.

“On schedule. As planned.” Said the Haro as they all enter their Gundams cockpits. They each carefully place themselves in their seats, making sure that the small plug in their suits built-in straps connects to the latch on the seats. An eye scanner then activates to confirm the pilot.

“Disengaging GN System Repose. Priority pass to Lanciare un Alba Futuro.” Said Lance, causing the systems to activate along with the other Gundams.

Amanda places Violet into his special ‘seat’. “Ready? Let’s go everyone.” With that, the 5 Gundams stand up as the changelings keep their distance from the huge machines before them.

“Dusk Shine. Death Blades. Rapidfire. Sand Dune. Evasive. Ready for deployment. Ready for deployment.” Said Violet as they 5 machines step outside the castle. “Commence GN Particle dispersal. Commence dispersal.” The Haro added a s the engines in the Gundams backs begin producing a large amount of the particles.

“Dusk Shine. Lanciare un Alba Futuro. Launching.”

“Pink Blades. Hillary Duo. Getting this party started.”

“Rapidfire. Imamu Trey. I'm taking off.”

“Sand Dune. Amani Quattro. Commencing intervention.”

“Evasive. Amanda Yamamoto. Targeted and firing.”

The Gundams then begin to float in the air, with the Dusk Sine and Sand Dune transforming into their mobile fighter modes. The 5 machines then take off towards Fog Bay.

“Gundam…” Chrysalis said. “The machines that will save Terra.”

Fog Valley Gorn Base

May 13, 3330 AD

1351 hours

A fog horn wails as the supply ship from Chennai, Elephantia approaches the port of the base. “They finally made it,” a Drone guard said as he and a friend watch the ship approach the hidden base.

“This fog is so thick that it’ll slow anything down,” the other pointed out.

“Once that ship makes landfall, we’ll move the mobile suits and weapons to the hanger at once.”

“Right.” The other said. Suddenly, right as the supply ships anchor was about to drop, an explosion at the top deck happens. “What just exploded!?”

The two notice a serpentine shape emerging form the flames. It’s only after it exits the fire do they see that its mechanical. It appears to be a combination between a dragon and a snake, with green ‘eyes’ and golden ‘fangs’. Suddenly, the rest of the machine emerges. It’s a mobile suit that stands around 18.4 meters in height.

It's a rainbow-colored mobile suit with a head design similar to a Chinese warriors’s helmet, with clear cerise eyes, above which is a golden serpent like v-shaped fin. On its back are two dragon-like wings. “It’s a Gundam!” One of the guards exclaimed in fear as the Gundam aims its dragon arm at the base and jets of fire erupt at it.

QN 005-RD Lightning Flash Gundam

“You let the enemy find and penetrate this base a little too easily. You can only blame yourselves for such poor security.” Wu said as he takes his beam saber and flies towards the base.

Control Tower

“Sir! A Gundam has just appeared!” A Drone cried out as he runs into the bases control room.

“I see that.” The Knight said. “Send out all mobile suits we have at once! Destroy that Gundam!”

“Sir! We’ve lost contact with the guard Shadow Bullets at the North Gate!” A Commander said.

“Sir! We’ve confirmed 5 other Gundams!”

“Five!? All six Gundams are here!?” The Knight asked. If he wasn’t afraid before, he sure is now.

QN 001-TS Gundam Dusk Shine MF mode

As Lance flies towards the base, several guard Shadow Bullets open fire on him. In response, Lance transforms his Gundam into its mobile suit mode, slides along the ground and fires his QN Swords beam gun, destroying the heads — which is where the cockpit is for most Gorn mobile suits. Standing up, Lance fires his QN Buster Riffle at several Shadow Lights firing at him, incinerating them in an instant. “This defense line is a little different from the others.”

QN 002-PP Gundam Death Blades

Hilary uses her Gundams QN Beam Scythe to slice up several Shadow Bullets also. She takes her QN Beam Dagger gun and fires at several other Shadow Bullets, destroying them also. “They probably increased security when they found out about us.”

QN 006-R Gundam Evasive

“Ten times more of them. That’s a lot more than we estimated.” Amanda noted as she uses her QN Sniper Rifle to take out some Shadow Lights. Turning to the ground, Amanda shoots a Shadow Bullet that snuck up onto Lance.

QN 003-AJ Gundam Rapidfire

“Then we’ll just have to blast them all. There’s no turning back now!” Imamu said as he opens the cannons on his Gundams shoulders, two giant barrels exiting them. He fires and destroys a good portion of the base.

QN 004-FS Gundam Sand Dune MS mode

“There’s no time too chitchat. We’ve got work to do.” Said Amani as she charges at two Shadow Bullets, before she uses her Gundams two shotels and slashes the Gorn mobile suits clean in half. The two halves float for a moment before exploding.

“Guys! The explosives are set! We need to get out of here in 5!” Wu suddenly said over the comlinks.

QN 001-TS Gundam Dusk Shine MS mode

“Then what are we waiting for?” Lance asked as his sword is folded outward. “Let’s get out of here.” He charges at some Shadow Bullets that are blocking the way and slashes then in two. Soon he and the others fly off into the air.

Control Tower

“Wait! Where are they going?” Asked the Knight. But his answer comes when an explosion happens t the bottom of the tower, along with several other areas across the base. He and the other Gorns scream as the tower collapses as the entire base goes up in flames.

Smoky Mountain

1400 hours

“That was fun!” Hilary said as they watch the base go up in smoke outside of their Gundams.

Her comment only makes Amani giggle and the others groan. “I said it before, I’ll say it again. Hilary, you’re sooo random.” Amanda groaned.

“Why thank you.”

“Let’s go home.” Lance said as he boards his Gundam.

It has been nearly 2 months since the Gundams were last seen by the Gorns. But during the demonstration of their last remaining Shadow Bolt mobile suit the Gundams return. What is their objective?
