It was just another evening in Canterlot. Little Twilight was sitting on her bed in her room, with nothing to do.

DING-DONG!

Twilight ran downstairs and walked up to the door. She peered through the peephole and saw Cadance standing in front of the door. "Oh, boy!" shouted Twilight, and she opened the door to let Cadance in. "Hello, Cadance!" Said Twilight excitedly.

"Hi Twi!" Said Cadance, and then they did their little dance: "Sunshine sunshine, ladybuds awake! Clap your hooves and do a little shake!"

Just then, mom and dad came downstairs. "Hello, Cadance. Thanks for showing up tonight, we really appreciate it. Help yourself to anything in the fridge, and we'll be back at about eleven."

"Don't worry, Twilight's in safe hands! I'll make sure nothing wrong happens!" Said Cadance.

"Good!" Said mom, and then mom and dad left and closed the door. Right after the door closed, Cadance went into the kitchen, got a giant bag of potato chips, sat down in front of the TV, and started watching.

"Watcha watchin' there?" asked Twilight curiously.

"Captain Firefly and her Firefly Rangers. Wanna watch?" Said Cadance.

"Sure thing!" Said Twilight, and she hopped up on the sofa next to Cadance. They watched the show, which was just a cheesy, black and white sci-fi show with cheap effects and goofy voices. "Hey, I like this!" Said Twilight as Cadance chewed on the chips. Twilight reached into the bag, but Cadance pulled it away from her.

"Mine!" Said Cadance.

"But it says sharing size right on the bag!" Said Twilight. "If you eat it all, you might get sick!"

"It's mine, get your own!" Said Cadance, so Twilight walked into the kitchen. She opened the cupboard and saw that there were no more bags of chips.

"There are none!" shouted Twilight.

"OK, fine!" Said Cadance, and she gave Twilight the bag of chips. Twilight saw that Cadance had already eaten half the bag. They continued to watch TV, until Cadance saw that it was time. "OK, it's nine-thirty, time for bed!" She told Twilight.

"Aww, can't we watch a little more?" Twilight asked.

"Sorry, we can't." Said Cadance, and Twilight walked up to her room. Cadance then came to tuck her in. "Good night" Said Cadance, and she gave Twilight a kiss on the forehead. Cadance was about to leave Twilight's room when Twilight stopped her.

"You forgot to tell me a bedtime story!" Said Twilight.

"Oh, I'm sorry. What would you like me to read to you?" Said Cadence. "We can read anything but-"

"Hamster Huey and the Gooey Kablooie!": Twilight said enthusiastically.

"No, not again!" Complained Cadance. "I've read that three times to you already! Can't we read something else?"

"Ok, ok" Said Twilight. "Will you make up a story for me?"

"Well. ok." Said Cadance, and she hopped up on the bed. She started telling a story. "Did you know that there are ghosts in your brother's room?"

"What? Really?" Said Twilight.

"Yes" Said Cadance, "And they scream, moan, laugh, and make squishy noises! And If you go in there, they'll attack you!"

"Really? Oh, I'd better stay in bed then!" Said Twilight.

"Ok, good night" Said Cadance, and she left Twilight's room.

Twilight, however, was scared by this story. It really creeped her out. There were ghosts in her brother's room, and they made spooky noises while she tried to sleep. She didn't hear anything yet, but she knew they would come. Where was Shining Armor, anyway? Wouldn't he be able to fight the ghosts? After all, he was a strong and handsome young stallion, who was destined to join the Canterlot Royal guard. He would help! But Twilight didn't hear him. She hadn't even seen him while Cadance was here.

Just then Twilight heard a noise. She looked up, and looked at the light coming in from under her bedroom door. She saw the bottoms of hooves, walking past her room. She stayed quiet. Then, she heard the door of Shining Armor's room open and shut at the end of the hallway. And then, it happened.

"Mmmmm, hm hm!" moaned a voice in her brother's room.

Twilight gasped. "It's the ghosts..." She whispered to herself quietly. She continued to listen in terror.

"Urghhhhh, uhhhhhhh..."

"Mwaaaaah..."

"Unh! Unh! Unh! Unh! Unh!"

Twilight heard squishy sounds accompanying the moaning and the groaning.

"Grrrrrrrrrrrgh..."

"Ooooooooooo..."

Twilight got out of bed and slowly walked over to the door. She opened it slowly and made sure it didn't creak. She looked down the hall and saw the door to her brother's room. Indeed, the noises were coming from there.

Twilight decided to be brave. "I must face the ghosts..." She said to herself. So she walked over to the kitchen to find things that might be useful to fight ghosts. She opened the drawer and got out a metal pan. Then she went into a closet and got a football helmet and a baseball bat. Now she was ready to face the ghosts. She walked back over to the hallway and listened.

"Oh, yes."

Yes? Why would a ghost say yes?

"Oh, oh, oh, oh, OH! OH! OH!"

"OoooOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooOOOOOOOOOoooooo!"

Twilight was shivering all over, but she knew she had to face her fears.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" screamed the ghosts in Shining Armor's room as Twilight charged at the door.

"Hiyyyyyyyyyyyah!" Shouted Twilight as she barge open the door, ready to beat the crap out of the ghosts.

She got something very different.

Shining armor was laying on top of Cadance, who had her hooves kicking up in the air. They both turned their heads to Twilight, with a shocked expression on their faces.

"Are you... PEEING in her?" shrieked Twilight in shock.

"Explain this!" Shining Armor told Cadance angrily.

"I'm sorry, Shiny, but I just had to make up an excuse" explained Cadance. "I told her that there were ghosts in your room who were making the 'moaning and screaming' noises we were making. I guess she wanted to be brave."

"What are you doing to Cadance, brother?" asked Twilight.

"We're doing something that you probably haven't heard of." Said Shining Armor.

"What is it?" Said Twilight.

"It's what lovers do" Said Cadance. "Your brother and I are in love, we met each other in high school. This is how we show it."

"By peeing in each other?" Asked Twilight.

"No." Said Shining Armor. "Our parents will explain to you tomorrow morning. Now go back to bed."

"Ok" Said Twilight, and she walked back out of Shining Armor's room to go back to bed.

Mom and dad were sitting at the table, having dinner. They had just gone to see a movie, therefore, they had something to talk about at dinner.

"Why does Midnight Bay put random explosions in his movies? It doesn't make sense." Said dad. Just then, mom's phone rang.

"Hello?" She said. "Oh, Shining, it's you. What's the matter?" She listened patiently, and then her eyes widened. "She WHAT?" Shouted mom.
