Twilight had returned with her old higher-ups, she had brainwashed her old friends and Colgate's army. Now the time had come to get on the same page with them. Everypony Twilight wanted in the throne room for her first meeting in over 3,000 years had arrived. She stood before them, and in all her glory she started, "Well everypony, it is so wonderful to be back and to be the DARK GODDESS that I have always supposed to be."

Captain Black Ice, Colgate's old dark Alicorn captain said, "Your Majesty, I think there is much you need to know. The world has changed a lot since you were unmade."

Twilight smiled and replied, "I had a feeling that had happened. Oh, and since you are all part of my extended family, just call me Twily. Just like it was long ago, I would prefer that over the rigid traditions of the ancient past." She paused and then continued, "Chances are that none of the officers that are here were around the last time when I was in power."

The officers replied in unison, "Nope. None of us were around way back then."

Twilight asked, "Well then, could you all introduce yourselves or could one of you at least introduce all of you to me?"

Colonel Black Mist, the highest ranking officer remaining replied, "Well I am Colonel Black Mist." He pointed to the dark Alicorn to his right and said, "This is Captain Black Ice." He then walked over to the changelings and said, "These two are Captain Green Storm and Lieutenant Southern Haze."

Twilight was not thrilled. She growled, "This is it? This is all the officers that are here?"

Black Mist replied, "I'm sorry Twilight but the generals and majors went to war with Colgate, our changeling colonel defected and went north with Chrysalis as did our dark Alicorn lieutenant."

Twilight sighed, "Well at least I know spells to give regular soldiers enough self-awareness to make officers out of them. I just never imagined that so few officers would be here holding down the fort." Twilight stopped for a minute and then asked, "Is there anypony here who could tell me what all has happened in this world since I was unmade?"

Applejack replied, "Yes, Ah can tell you. Well, around 500 years ago is when things began to change. You remember how it used to be that nations produced all of their own goods and that nopony relied on imported products?"

Twilight said, "Yes, I do."

Applejack continued, "Well, all of a sudden international trade starts and after a while it really begins to separate the wealth of some nations. The nations which produced higher value products began to become much wealthier while the nations that produced products of lower value began to get poorer and poorer."

Twilight replied, "Oh and let me guess, Lyra, who was so against my tribute laws, was mad because Neigh Zealand produced primarily wool?"

Applejack continued, "Yes, she was extremely angry. She grew to hate Equestria, the Equine Empire and Alicorn Island because they all produced items of very high value."

Twilight asked, "And I am assuming this caused her to want to destroy the wealthier nations?"

Applejack replied, Yes, it did. Eventually the international summits got less harmonious and from what Colgate told us, during the last one Lyra and Lemon Hearts stormed out, forged their own alliance, modernized their militaries and waged war on Equestria and the Equine Empire."

Twilight sighed and said, "Well it doesn't surprise me with Lyra. She always did seem to be the one who wanted things that would aid Neigh Zealand, not caring what it would do to the rest of the world. I'm not surprised by her being able to brainwash Lemon Hearts though."

Applejack asked, "Why do you say that?"

Twilight continued, "Well back when the world's stewards voted to pass the tribute measure, initially she seemed opposed to it but I was easily able to convince her that it was needed. Lyra was and probably still is more powerful than her so I am assuming it was easy to get her on her side." Twilight paused and asked, "So what else has changed in this world?"

Applejack replied, "Well there have been many officers that have come and gone but General Dark Night has been a constant. He went with Colgate out to war."

Twilight said, "I remember him as a very loyal and competent general to all those who he served. I am wondering if I might be able to get him back on my side."

Captain Black Ice replied, "Well you can try but Colgate has an iron clad loyalty spell placed upon him, not to mention that he has hated you for a very long time."

Twilight laughed, "Oh a loyalty spell will fix that! I'm not worried." She then asked, "Speaking of loyal members of the military, are there any other soldiers in the nation or are these all the soldiers in the country?"

Applejack replied, "Actually Colgate has numerous bases throughout the country which means there are many, many soldiers who are extremely loyal to Colgate and that needs to be fixed."

Twilight looked at her four friends and asked, "Hey, do you four think you could travel out to these bases and tell them that Colgate wants them to return to Ponyville?"

Pinkie asked in return, "What if they ask us why?"

Twilight replied, "Tell them that they are needed for an important meeting. It will be very important, so while you will be lying about who wants them here, you won't be lying about it being an important meeting."

Pinkie said, "Okie Dokie!"

Rarity asked, "So when do you want us to go round all these troops up?"

Twilight replied, "I want you to head out tomorrow morning after breakfast. Besides, if Chrysalis and Sombra were to invade Equestria, they would come for Ponyville first. If it is well fortified, we can wipe them out and then be ready for Colgate when she and her minions return." Twilight looked towards the dining hall and asked, "What do you say we end this meeting and go have something more substantial than donuts?"

Applejack replied, "Ah tell you Twilight, Ah'm so hungry! Sounds good to me."

LaurFa added, "I haven't even got to eat yet. Some steak like you used to serve sounds so good!"

Twilight and all those loyal to her followed her into the dining hall. When they arrived the chef who came out to ask what they wanted for their meal was shocked by who was there. He had no clue who Twilight and the others who were unmade so long ago were. He figured that they were probably friends of Colgate's so he went ahead and prepared a massive feast for everypony anyway. He had no clue that he was feeding the enemy.

Colgate's Nuke spell---- "The atoms must be split so I can send my enemies into a pit. The explosion shall be big so my enemies will squeal like a pig. The time has come to make my enemies numb. The big fire shall be great, it shall destroy all the hate."

Fixing spell--- "The city was devastated by a storm, which is not the norm, their suffering is great yet we can not allow normalcy to be late, the city must be restored to the way it was before so they can pay taxes like they did before.

COLGATE'S SPELLS

Freeze time---"Tick tock, tick tock, look at the racing clock, what is short is time and being late is a crime, we must finish on top so it is time I must stop, with time froze, it is my enemies I shall bulldoze."

Unfreeze time---"Look at the clock, it is stuck in place, with this there can be no pace, everything is still but that does not fit the bill, for now the clock shall again run so everypony can have fun."

Time bubble---"A bubble is what we need, so from frozen time we can be freed, in this bubble we can move fast, while everything else is stuck in the past, it is frozen time which through we must pass so we will never be late to class."

Undo time bubble---"In the bubble time continues to run, but now the time outside runs and allows fun, the bubble must burst so we can quench our thirst, from the bubble we are now free and everything we can clearly see."

Release Brevity Thrash--- "She was banished long ago, but her power she will not forego, it is revenge she wants, it is her sister she shall taunt, for Brevity Thrash shall return once more and be more than just long lost lore."
