Morning came all too quickly not just for Colgate, but for everypony. Colgate wearily got up and before heading down stairs to the dining hall, she checked on the world looking through the eye. As expected, there was nothing out of the ordinary going on. She headed to the dining hall where she was greeted by her remaining officers, Scootaloo, Luna, Brevity and Fluttershy. She headed to the table and laid her head on it. Fluttershy saw this and asked, "Colgate, are you ok?"

Colgate replied, "I'm just dead tired. Releasing enough energy to blow Twilight to bits really drained me."

Dark Night asked, "So are we going to have the meeting you were talking about today?"

Normally a question like this would anger Colgate since it is a no-brainer but she was too tired to get mad. She replied, "Yeah, we are going to. I have ideas of who I want to rule where but something must be done about the Crystal Empire, it can not be left leaderless."

Brevity interrupted, "You could always send LaurFa up to the Crystal Empire. It is a special place and besides, Brevity will not, under any circumstances, share power with her sister."

Colgate replied, "I figured that and I don't blame you."

Very quickly their breakfast arrived and it was the most enjoyable meal they had eaten since their blow up with Lyra and Lemon Hearts at the tri-millennial summit. After breakfast Colgate looked at her allies and asked, "Could you guys go gather everypony and meet me at the base. I want us to get this world returned to normal as soon as possible."

Scootaloo headed over to Sweet Apple Acres where everypony was resting in the barn. She ran to them and said, "Come on guys, Colgate wants us to meet at the base for a meeting."

Apple Bloom replied, "Ah'm assuming it is probably going to be the last one since Twilight's dead."

Granny Smith added, "Well Ah sure hope so, I just want things to return to normal."

They followed Scootaloo to the base while Luna headed to Sugarcube Corner where for the first time in a very long time the five ponies who were best of friends for eons were gathered. Luna was greeted by Pinkie as she entered the sweet shop. Pinkie asked, "Hi Princess, do you want something to eat?"

Luna smiled and replied, "Maybe later. Colgate wants us over at the base for a meeting. Don't tell anypony I'm saying this but I have a feeling this may be the final meeting over 'business' matters."

Luna saw that Fluttershy was laughing with them and asked, "I take it all of you have mended your fences with Fluttershy?"

Applejack replied, "Eeyep, we know now that Fluttershy was angry about her homeland being attacked and we are closer than ever now."

Luna motioned for them to follow her to the base. In a matter of thirty minutes everypony was gathered at the base. Colgate stood up on a platform and addressed everypony. She began, "I want to say that I am so proud of those of you who fought on my side last night and for those of you who I released from Twilight's loyalty spell, I am happy to have restored you back to normal."

LaurFa shouted out, "And I want to thank you for restoring not just me, but all of us back to normal!"

Colgate continued, "You're welcome LaurFa. Now to the major issue I want to discuss. The world has been through a lot and right now there are nations that need leadership restored to them. I have some plans for this but I do want your input."

Luna very quickly jumped in. She asked, "Colgate, will I resume my role as queen in the Equine Empire?"

Colgate replied, "Yes Luna, that was what I had planned." She looked at Brevity and continued, "And Brevity, I am assuming that you will want to resume your role as Goddess Brevity on Alicorn Island?"

Brevity replied, "Of course Brevity wants to resume her role there! Her subjects absolutely love her!"

Colgate said, "Ok, now we don't have to worry about Neigh Zealand because that place probably won't be habitable for at least a thousand years. But, we have Saddle Arabia and the Crystal Empire that need leadership. Who would like to take care of those."

LaurFa was upset that she was not mentioned for leadership on Alicorn Island. She asked, "Wait a minute, I am a Creator Goddess too. Should I also be ruling over in Faustica as well?"

Brevity snapped, "First off, it is Alicorn City and second, Brevity will not share power. We remember what you did so long ago and despite you having your powers restored, Brevity is still more powerful than you and besides, it is a well known historical fact about how you betrayed Alicorn Island and joined Twilight's side so you would not be well received."

Colgate had a worried look on her face and realized that if Brevity and LaurFa started fighting, that things could go downhill in a hurry. Colgate interrupted, "LaurFa, I know it isn't Alicorn Island, but what would you think of ruling up in the Crystal Empire?"

LaurFa knew of the magical powers it held and realized that it would be a good place to go. She replied, "Yes, I would like to rule there."

Colgate replied, "Good. Now that leaves Saddle Arabia. I was thinking that perhaps Galaxia, Cosmos and Celestia could rule down there. What do you three say, would you be interested in doing that?"

All three of them enthusiastically agreed to it. Colgate was standing up on the platform with a smile on her face. She had one more thing to take care of before she would conclude this meeting. She looked at Dark Night and said, "Come on up here Dark Night, I have something special for you."

Dark Night flew up there and landed next to Colgate. Colgate said, "General Dark Night, you have served Equestria for a bit over 4,000 years." She took a medal and levitated it around his neck and continued, "I am presenting you with the quad-millennial service award. You have by far been the best officer I have ever had. I also want you to know that since this war is over that you are eligible for retirement. You may either retire or continue to serve in the military."

Dark Night replied, "Thank you for the award Colgate and I am happy to have been serving Equestria for so long. I do feel though as it is time for me to retire. I have been happy to serve for so long but I just want to relax."

Colgate hugged the general and said, "I completely respect your decision and after serving for so long, I can understand your desire to retire."

Luna interrupted, "We do have a question, what about armies? Are we going to have armies?"

Colgate replied, "Of course! Hopefully nopony will need them to engage in war but you all know you will receive them. I will give each one of you an officer of each rank of each type and one regular soldier of each type. You can then use the duplication spell to increase the size once you get home. After all, you will not have the resources on your ships to feed an army of a thousand."

They all had a massive feast for lunch before Colgate created enough officers for each type for all the leaders as they were getting ready to head for home. Before leaving Luna asked, "Colgate, are we going to have summits like we did after Twilight was unmade or not?"

Colgate said with a smile, "Of course we will! After all, I do think we should get together every year simply to touch base but I do hope we can just have friendly chit chats as well."

Before they left LaurFa walked up to Brevity and hugged her. She said, "Sister, I am so sorry about what happened so long ago. I look back at things and I realize that banishing you was not the best thing to do, that instead I should have tried to be more diplomatic with you, that I should have transformed Starswirl into an Alicorn."

Brevity replied, "Well LaurFa, we can't go back and change the past. All we can do now is move forward and vow never to wage war upon one another."

Colgate interrupted, "I think that should be the case with all of us. I do not want this world to fall into a state of warfare again. I'm sure none of this planet's civilians want it either."

They all agreed and in the middle of the afternoon they all parted ways. Colgate, Scootaloo and the retiring General Dark Night headed into the dining hall for a mid afternoon snack. After doing some thinking Dark Night had changed his mind about retirement. He asked, "Colgate, I know I said that I wanted to retire, but I have changed my mind. I want to continue to serve Equestria."

Colgate hugged her general and replied, "That is wonderful news Dark Night! I am glad you changed your mind!"

Scootaloo asked, "So Colgate, do you think that there will be any wars in the near future or the distant future?"

Colgate replied, "I don't think so Scootaloo. Luna and Brevity are both good, competent leaders who like stability. I highly doubt LaurFa will use her army to attack anypony and Galaxia, Cosmos and Celestia are far different from Lyra and Lemon Hearts. They are not going to go waging war over things such as deteriorating economic conditions and besides, they will explore their nation for things such as precious metals."

About ten minutes later their meal arrived and for the first time in four millennia, business matters were discussed while they were eating. Scootaloo emptied her mouth and asked, "So what will we do with Neigh Zealand once it becomes habitable again?"

Colgate let out a huge belch and replied, "I will probably see if Celestia wants to rule it. For now though, let's eat!"

Finally the number one threat to not just Equestria, but the entire planet was no more. The word of her death was met with much happiness across the world. Citizens across the planet realized that they could now return to normal life without having to worry about an evil pony seeking global conquest turning their nations upside down.
