Out at the coast Colgate's forces were just about ready to leave when Applejack asked, "Colgate, so when are y'all going to duplicate our forces?"

Colgate replied, "I shall do that a couple miles outside of Ponyville." She looked at her forces and asked, "Any final questions before we head off to battle?"

General Dark Night raised his hoof and said, "Well this isn't so much of a question as it is a suggestion. I am thinking I know how we can catch them off guard."

Colgate sneered, "Oh, and how do you think we can do this? Wait until they are tired?"

Dark Night replied, "No. What we need to do is circle around Ponyville and attack it from the east."

Colgate smiled and said, "That is pure genius General. That way we can attack them with their backs facing us! Twily won't see that coming!"

Her forces began to cheer loudly and started chanting, "COLGATE, COLGATE, COLGATE" as they took off towards the east.

In Ponyville an eerie silence set in over the town as the sun was setting. Twilight was becoming nervous and her mane and tail had quickly become a mess. Rainbow saw this and decided to try to calm the dark goddess down. She said, "Twi, everything is going to be ok. You are far more powerful than you used to be. What if a pony can't be unmade twice?"

Twilight smiled and replied, "I don't know if ponies can be unmade more than once but I just can't help but be a bit nervous. While I am far more powerful than before I can't help but remember how powerful both Colgate and Brevity are."

Rainbow patted Twilight on the shoulder and said, "I understand you concerns but this time I think you'll be victorious."

Twilight smiled and for the first time in four thousand years, she gave credit to more than herself. She corrected Rainbow by saying, "You mean WE'LL be victorious."

Other ponies heard her saying this and realized that while she can be a total grump, that perhaps Twilight still had a tiny bit of niceness left in her after all.

Three hours passed and Twilight called all her soldiers together. She said, "Alright guys, we need a lot more than just a few hundred of you, we need around ten thousand of each type." She motioned for them to head over to an open field and without having to be told, they headed to the field. She began to glow a deep shade of purple, her eyes were shining green and her horn was glowing as she recited, "From one to two, two to four and so much more, when one is simple mere, more and more shall appear."

Twilight's energy beam was gentle but it did the job, it doubled the size of her forces. She continued to cast the spell until she had 10,000 of each type of soldier. Everypony had a feeling that their chances of victory were certain and shouted, "Glory to the Dark Goddess Twilight Sparkle, our one and only leader!"

Twilight then ordered her forces to gather around her in a circle. She continued to glow as she recited, "The one without armor does not stand a chance, so it is what we must enhance, the unarmed one will likely receive death, with armor he shall continue to draw breath, without armor he will be torn to shreds like a rag but with armor victory is in the bag."

Knowing they had sufficient numbers and great armor caused her forces to cheer for her in adoration. These cheers of adoration helped build up Twilight's confidence, which had seemed to be in doubt. However, LaurFa was becoming less and less focused as she couldn't help but wonder about Twilight and what happened in the past so long ago. The nagging voice in her head started repeating void, void, void over and over. This was about to drive LaurFa nuts but she was unable to put two and two together as far as what the voice really meant.

Twenty miles west of Ponyville Colgate and her forces continued their eastward journey until Dark Night took off towards the north. Colgate shouted, "General Dark Night, what are you doing?"

Dark Night stopped and replied, "Colgate, we were going to circle around Ponyville and attack from the east, remember?"

Colgate said, "We did, didn't we?" She looked back at her forces and shouted, "Follow me!"

Colgate and her forces were soon soaring over the Everfree Forest towards the hills east of Ponyville. Once they got far enough east they turned back south until they were directly east of Ponyville and stopped. Colgate looked at her forces and said, "Alright troops, the time has come. The time has come for us to retake Ponyville, save this planet and to make sure she doesn't return again, I plan on KILLING Twilight."

Brevity asked, "But Colgate, what if she has become so powerful our magic can't defeat her?"

Colgate laughed, "I'll kill her the old fashioned way. A horn to the heart should do the trick and after that, Twily Steak will make an amazing breakfast."

Scootaloo added, "Woo-hoo! That sounds so yummy!" Fluttershy had the same mindset as Scootaloo and Colgate as she began to lick her chops over the idea of an Alicorn breakfast."

Brevity addressed them as well. She said, "While Colgate is quite confident we will win, if things start going bad, all of us Alicorns, our generals and a few drones of each type must gather around me so I can teleport us to safety."

Everypony nodded and realized she was right. Colgate, Scootaloo and Fluttershy did not like the idea that somepony didn't think victory was certain but decided to go along with Brevity's plan. Colgate looked at the regular soldiers and said, "Alright troops, the time to duplicate you has come. I need you to gather over there off to our left."

Her troops said in unison, "Yes Ma'am!"

Her forces gathered all together. Colgate began to glow a deep blue, her eyes were shining a deep blue, her cutie mark began to glow and her horn began to glow and she recited, "From one to two, two to four and so much more, when one is simple mere, more and more shall appear."

She fired her energy and her forces duplicated. She continued casting the spell until she had 10,000 of each. She remained glowing, stretched herself vertically and then recited, "The one without armor does not stand a chance, so it is what we must enhance, the unarmed one will likely receive death, with armor he shall continue to draw breath, without armor he will be torn to shreds like a rag but with armor victory is in the bag."

Her forces began to shout, "COLGATE, COLGATE, COLGATE! ALL HAIL OUR SUPREME COMMANDER!"

Colgate nodded, flapped her wings as to point them down and silenced her troops. She looked back and said, "Let's go!"

Before Colgate could take off Brevity said to the troops, "Remember what we need to do if things start to go downhill?"

Everypony nodded and Colgate shouted, "WE'LL BE FINE! CHARGE!"

Brevity added one more thing. She said, "If I think we have to go, I will flash my horn three times. If you see that, head to me as soon as possible."

Everypony nodded and Colgate's forces began to fly west towards Ponyville where a deafening silence had set in. Galaxia was standing next to Twilight and asked, "Twilight, is it just me or is this silence have an ominous feel to it?"

Twilight replied, "It does Galaxia. Believe it or not it is actually scaring me."

Some of her other soldiers and her friends heard this and were a bit relieved that Twilight was feeling the same way they were. Suddenly a few clouds drifted in front of the moon, making it pitch dark in Ponyville. Suddenly bolts of energy began to fly in not from the west as Twilight expected, but from the east."

Twilight shouted, "WE'RE UNDER ATTACK! THEY TRICKED US!"

All of Twilight's soldiers very quickly went airborne to fight the enemy. They began to strike each other with energy to wear down their armor. Colgate saw Twilight and fired energy at her, yet all it did was get her attention. She landed in front of Twilight and laughed, "Well, well, well, who do we have here? Why it is Twilight Sparkle my dear!"

Twilight got up and growled, "So we meet again. The time for you to die has come!"

Twilight and Colgate took to the sky and began firing energy at one another but to the dismay of both goddesses, their energy was not even affecting the other. Very soon Colgate knew that she would not be able to use magic on her so she launched herself at Twilight and began to fight her the old fashioned way.

Colgate was shouting, "Your time has come Twily! I'm knocking you from the sky and killing you!"

Twilight shouted back, "In your dreams bitch. I'm killing you tonight!"

The two engaged in a brawl that involved many, many more punches than the one that Twilight and Cadence had. The punches were so hard that neither one could bite the other. They continued to fight and shout obscenities at one another while the rest of the battle went on as previous battles in Ponyville had gone for the past four millennia. Before too long though, an unexpected twist would remind one pony of who she is and change the focus of one of the goddesses as to who their true enemy is.

Shatter Armor---"Our foes' armor is great, that is something I hate, with their armor they are strong, but them having armor is just plain wrong, now their armor is gone and it is time for them to say bye as they are struck by energy and die."

Return Blue sky---"The sky is purple which is ok for some, but it just makes me numb, for I miss the way it used to be, blue is beautiful to me, the normal sky shall be back and everything will return on track."

Drain pony---"The large pony is too big for me, for smaller the pony shall be, the size and knowledge will become mine, but the negative qualities is where I draw the line, for what must grow is my power, so that I may remain in the tower."
