The following morning was calm and peaceful. The sun was shining and there was no wind. It was the type of day where it seemed like everything was going to be perfect but that was far from the truth. Ponyville resembled more of a ghost town as all of the town's residents had been evacuated the night before and there was an eerie silence that made everypony nervous. Everypony had finished their breakfast and Twilight looked out at her troops. She motioned for the drones and Alicorn soldiers to move over to an open field. She asked, "You boys ready for this?"

Her forces replied, "Yes Twilight, we're ready."

Twilight nodded and began to glow. Her eyes began to shine green and her horn was glowing. She pointed her horn at them and recited, "From one to two, two to four and so much more, when one is simple mere, more and more shall appear."

Twilight fired her energy at her troops. She suddenly had twice as many as before. She continued to cast the spell until she had 5,000 of each. Twilight smiled and said, "Alright troops, we should be ready. All we do is keep our eyes fixed to the north and wait.

Rarity asked, "But Twilight, weren't you going to cast an armor spell on us?"

Twilight gasped, "I'm sorry Rarity. Thank you for reminding me!"

Twilight then cast the armor spell on herself and all her forces. She began to question herself at first because normally she would never have any self doubt, but soon that self-doubt would vanish when she engaged in battle against her foes.

In the Everfree Forest the weather was the same but it was far from quiet. Cadence was shouting rallying her troops. She asked, "Alright troops, what are we going to do today?"

They all shouted, "We're going to kill Twilight and put you on the throne!"

Cadence was smiling just gobbling up all the attention. She replied, "Hell yeah, and my victory supper shall be Twilight Sparkle!"

This was making Flash Sentry feel very uncomfortable but he knew that if he did not wish to be killed, that he had best remain loyal to Cadence until the battle started. Cadence pointed her horn at the few regular soldiers and said, "Alright troops, your Dark Goddess needs to duplicate you. We know that Twilight has duplicated her forces."

Her forces gathered into a somewhat open area where they could be duplicated. Cadence began to glow, her eyes were shining green and her horn was glowing as she recited, "From one to two, two to four and so much more, when one is simple mere, more and more shall appear."

Like with Twilight, her forces had doubled. However, with this happening within the forest, some would have to float above the ground for her to continue to duplicate them. She continued duplicating them until she had 5,000 of each. She smiled and said, "Alright troops, let's go!"

Cadence and her forces took off towards the south. At first Cadence was leading the charge but then she slowed her forces down until the Alicorn guardsponies were up in the front with her. She then told them to stop. She said, "Alright everypony, your Dark Goddess must put an armor spell on you. She knows that Twilight has done that with her troops already."

Cadence then began to glow a dark shade of pink, her eyes were shining green and her horn was glowing as she recited, "The one without armor does not stand a chance, so it is what we must enhance, the unarmed one will likely receive death, with armor he shall continue to draw breath, without armor he will be torn to shreds like a rag but with armor victory is in the bag."

A great burst of energy spread outwards from her, quickly being absorbed by the bodies of her army. She then motioned for the guardsponies to go first and shouted, "CHARGE!"

Reluctantly Flash Sentry led the guard in first, who were then followed by Cadence, Sombra, Chrysalis and the rest of her army. In Ponyville Twilight was looking off to the north and saw ten Alicorn stallions flying in. She ordered her forces to attack the incoming enemy. Her friends were the first ones to start firing at them. Very quickly the armor of most of them had been shattered. Flash Sentry had circled around to the back side of Ponyville as he wanted to confront Twilight at the end of the battle, not so he could kill her, but so he could profess his love for her.

Within a minute Cadence and the rest of her forces began to soar above Ponyville. Energy beams began to fly around the battle scene. Within ten minutes everypony's armor had been shattered. The drones and dark Alicorn soldiers began to fall from the sky as had happened in past battles in Ponyville. Cadence saw Twilight and took off after her as she wanted to crush her. Twilight saw her coming and shouted, "YOU WANT TO FEAST ON ME? BRING IT BITCH! YOUR ASS IS MINE!"

This caused Cadence to begin firing powerful bolts of energy at Twilight. Twilight very quickly was doing the same but to the dismay of both of them, their energy was not even affecting the other. Soon it hit them that with both of them being dark goddesses that they could not harm one another so they began fighting the old fashioned way, the way Pegasus ponies do. They began to kick one another, punch each other, swat each other with their wings, bite each other and use their tails to whip the other in the face. For the casual observer it would appear as though they were engaging in a prize fight from the days of old.

While the two dark goddesses were fighting everypony else continued to fight. Soon Twilight's forces were getting the upper hand in the battle yet Sombra and Chrysalis remained unscathed. Chrysalis tried covering Twilight's allies and friends in ooze but she missed. Rainbow shouted, "Nice try Chrysi." as she and Rarity fired powerful beams of energy at her vaporizing her horn and wings. Seeing her fall to the ground made her friends very happy.

LaurFa and Celestia had Sombra cornered up against the black tower. He was shouting, "You will never win this! You two are weak!"

He then began firing bolts of energy at the two Alicorns, leaving burn marks on them. When Galaxia and Cosmos saw this, they sped over to help the two. Their eyes were shining white and Galaxia was glowing a bright white and the two fired an immense amount of power at Sombra, vaporizing his horn and burning his wings badly. Galaxia then ordered Twilight's changelings to cover Cadence's allies in ooze.

Eventually all of Cadence's forces had been wiped out or captured. She was the only one remaining. While Twilight's allies could have easily taken Cadence down, they let the two continue their bout. They were punching each other when Cadence decided she would draw blood first. She launched herself at Twilight, got her in a powerful hold and bit one of her ears off. Twilight shouted, "OUCH!" Cadence was floating in front of her eating her ear, which made Twilight very angry. Soon the two were in a tight, strangling hold again when Twilight bit off one of Cadence's ears and ate it, causing Cadence to scream in pain. This only made both of them more thirsty for the other's blood. They continued to bite each other until both of them were covered in bite marks.

Finally Cadence wanted to finish this. She wanted to kill Twilight and feast on her. She was circling around to get a better chance to launch herself towards Twilight, but Twilight would be ready. As Cadence was soaring towards Twilight, she flew down to where she was underneath her. She then soared skywards and rammed her horn straight through Cadence's chest, severely injuring her but not killing her.

She quickly hit the ground and blood splatted everywhere. While she had some fractured wing bones and had blood leaking out of her wounds she still launched herself at Twilight, who had landed in front of her. The battle began again as they were rolling on the ground punching and biting each other. Finally after ten minutes of brutally punching, kicking and biting Twilight finally had Cadence pinned to the ground. Twilight asked, "So Cadence, any last words before I feast on your corpse?"

Cadence kicked her off of her and shouted, "You will be the one to say last words, NOT ME!"

Cadence again launched herself at Twilight but she saw it coming. She lowered her head and as Cadence hit her, Twilight's horn went straight through her heart, killing her. Cadence's body fell to the ground which pleased Twilight greatly. Twilight began to dance around the bruised and bitten corpse of her enemy, bit a hole open in her neck and sang "Sunshine, sunshine, lady bugs awake! Clap your hooves and do a little shake!" Twilight laughed and said, "Oh I'm sorry Cadi, I forgot with you being dead you can't clap your hooves or do a little shake!"

She jumped up and down like a schoolfilly in glee and laughed, "Well, well, well, I guess I know what I will be having for supper!"

Rainbow asked, "Seriously Twi, you're going to feast on your old foalsitter's corpse?"

Twilight was in too good of a mood to be mad over this question. She jubilantly replied, "Of course! I'm not going to let a good kill go to waste! Besides, now that I've tasted Alicorn meat, I want more of it!" She then bent down and licked some of the blood from Cadence's wounds. This grossed everypony else out but Twilight didn't care. She was victorious and that is all that mattered.

Pinkie asked, "Twilight, so what are you going to do with Sombra and Chrysalis?"

Twilight walked over to where Sombra and Chrysalis lay and replied, "I plan on sending them back to the void."

Sombra shouted, "Never! You will not send us back to the void again!"

Twilight laughed, "Oh, and who is going to stop me? You two are powerless now."

Chrysalis, having lost her powers could no longer escape from her own kind's ooze. She continued to try to melt the ooze off of herself but she just couldn't get rid of it. Finally she simply quit trying and decided she would beg Twilight for mercy. Chrysalis asked, "Dark Goddess Twilight Sparkle, I know you will probably not give it to us but could you please give us mercy? We promise we will be good."

Twilight glared at her and replied, "Mercy? Don't make me laugh." She then began to glow, her eyes were shining green and her horn was glowing as she recited, "You have committed treason and that is not in season, you are a threat to me and I simply can not let that be, I can no longer be annoyed so you shall be cast into the void."

Before they could react Sombra and Chrysalis had been banished to the void. Rarity notices Twilight's bitten body and missing ear. She asked, "Twilight, did you know you are missing one of your ears and are covered in bite marks?"

This really upset Twilight because it was one of those no brainer questions. She growled, "Well no shit Rarity. I felt her bite my ear off and felt her biting my skin."

Galaxia asked, "Twilight, would you want me to heal you? You look magnificent regardless but I just thought I would ask."

Twilight smiled and replied, "I would really appreciate it Galaxia. Yes these scars and missing ear may make me look like I've been through a brutal fight but I'd rather look like I won this easily."

Galaxia began to glow a gentle shade of white, her horn began to glow and she sent a gentle beam of healing energy into Twilight. Soon the Dark Goddess was back to normal, her ear had been restored and her skin had the same appearance it did before her bout with Cadence.

Twilight began to asses the damage and bodies from both sides and realized that there were only nine Alicorn guard corpses. She was shouting, "WHERE'S THE TENTH? HAS ANYPONY SEEN THE TENTH?"

As she was shouting this an Alicorn stallion landed behind Twilight. He had a beaming smile on his face as he approached her. He truly believed that he could win over the heart of the dark goddess yet had no clue that things would not turn out the way he hoped.
