“That was intriguing” Blaze smirked

“Yeah, so it was” I chuckled, my vision fading as I collapsed onto my face on the hard wooden floor “I’m gonna sleep now…”

The following day, I staggered to my feet, barely managing to walk in a straight line toward the xit of the theatre

“How do you feel?” Celestia smiled

“Absolutely hammered” I groaned

“Hammered?” she blinked

“Smashed right out of my brains?” she tilted her head “Drunk?”

“Oh...” she slowly nodded “you’ll have to forgive us for that, our magic levels are nigh immeasurable

“That’s alright,” Blaze laughed “mating with two goddesses in a day will do that to a wizard, right brother?”

“I need a drink” I mumbled

“So you do” Celestia giggled “my little eon”

“I’m not sure how to respond to that” I slowly shook my head, walking with Celestia to the dining hall

Once breakfast was finished, I sat outside in the stands of the arena alongside Twilight, her friends, the lizard, and the princesses

“Maybe you just need to release some of your magic” Blaze suggested

“How so,” I raised an eyebrow

“Well, everyone knows that wizards such as yourself absorb magic from the atmosphere, right?” I nodded “well, my theory is that you absorbed too much yesterday and that’s why you feel like shit right now, pardon my lingo”

“You’re excused” I mumbled, gliding down to the arena, inhaling sharply “Eigo Hoseki Ryu,” I exhaled a vast torrent of silvery/pearl coloured flames into the sky, eventually relenting “Hokou!”

“How do you feel?” she smirked

“Damn you a third time for being right,” I folded my arms “I feel perfect!”

“Told ya so” she laughed

“So you did” I chuckled

“And,” she rolled a paw with a downright smug-as-hell expression plastered on her face

“You were right, again” I sighed

“Too right I was” she smirked

As I hovered beside Crystal, Twilight and her friends in ponyville, my ears started twitched, almost pulling me toward the mountain on which canterlot was built

“Going somewhere?” Crystal laughed

“Apparently” I chuckled as I came across a statue of a Pegasus filly with an icy-blue coat with a white mane and tail with a similar bluish colour in them

“Well I’ll be damned, it actually happened” Blaze whistled “take it way Tesla”

“Holy hay, that was awesome!” Rainbow Dash cheered as a massive beam of light from the statue rocketed up toward the heaven, a sudden flash of light later, and the statue had vanished altogether

“Uh, Tesla” Crystal pointed toward my back, glancing behind me, I saw an exact replica of the statue, only as an actual pony, staring up at me with cyan eyes, a small smile adorning her face

“Hell Daddy” the pony giggled “I’m Snowdrop”

“Nice to meet you, Snowdrop, I’m Tesla, and this is my sister, Blaze” I gestured to the Quilava using my head as a rug

“Hello” Snowdrop held out a hoof, which Blaze shook “I’m going to bed now, Ok Daddy?”

“Ok, just try not to move about too much” I smiled

“Ok” she smiled, clinging onto me as she slept

“To Canterlot,” Blaze smirked

As I glided in through the entrance to the castle a scroll appeared before me

You’re needed at the theatre…

“Ok, fair enough” I shrugged as the scroll disintegrated, flying toward the theatre

“I heard that I was needed here?” I smiled as the members of the orchestra stood before me, Octavia and Vinyl included

“Luna tells us that you can play the guitar” Vinyl smirked, glancing toward Snowdrop “who’s the filly?”

“Snowdrop” I smiled

“How long have you been here?” Octavia blinked

“A week-ish” I tilted a claw

“So how is she here?”

“Magic” I winked

“Anyways, Luna’s told us that you know a song on the guitar” the cyan mare smiled “can you do it, for a solo-Op tomorrow?”

“Most certainly” I called my hands together “when’s the event?”

“At ten-o’-clock sharp” she winked

“Red jumpsuit Apparatus,” Blaze smirked

“Nope, Utopia” I grinned as Snowdrop wearily awoke

“Hello Snowdrop” I smiled as Blaze and Snowdrop switched places, with the filly on my head, and the Quilava on my back

“Where are we?” she yawned

“Canterlot royal castle, in the theatre” I smiled again

“That was amazing!” Octavia cheered alongside Vinyl as we stood in the main hall not an hour later

“That was me doing a guitar duet with Blaze” I smirked

“It’s like you were born sing do that song!” she glimmered “although I thought you couldn’t play any instruments”

“Not the ones they use in an actual orchestra, unless they actually use guitars in the orchestra here” I laughed

“They don’t, which is for the better I suppose seeing as how you’d shine above the rest of them” she giggled

“Too right” Snowdrop whispered

“Next time I’ll sing a different song” I winked

“I’m sure you will, Celestia trotted toward me alongside Luna, Twilight her friends and the lizard, the latter of which was on Twilight’s back “I’m surprised, how did, you bring Snowdrop back?”

“He sang” Snowdrop nickered

“Oh,” Celestia raised an eyebrow “And how did that happen?”

“Heck if we know” Blaze and I murmured

“Daddy,” Snowdrop smiled rather faintly, I’m hungry” Celestia levitated a muffin toward me, I passed it to Snowdrop “thank you Daddy”

“And you think you’re ready for that role, Tesla?” Celestia

“Blaze, if you would” I smiled

“Mayonaka Nikkō Ryū” Blaze chanted

“What in tha hay does that mean?” Applejack blinked

“Dragon of the midnight sun” I winked “I’d be honoured “to fight for you, princess”

“And I’d be honoured to have you as our knight, Sir Tesla” Celestia smiled, magicking a gem out of nowhere “Here, this gem is enchanted to give it’s user unlimited magical power for what’s been tested to last forever” I took the gem as she handed it to me, eating it fairly quickly, feeling a sudden burst of magical energy radiate from within me, scales appearing on my face, arms and hands

“So, permanent ‘Dragon Force’ then?” Blaze smirked

“Seems so” I sighed

“Are those scales?” Vinyl gasped

“I’m a dragon slayer, if given enough of my element to sustain my magicka levels I enter what’s call ‘Dragon Force,’ the final, ultimate form of dragon slayer magic, said to be equivalent in power to that of an actual dragon, the power to utterly destroy everything,” I explained not that I’m going to”

“But of course” she said as sultrily as she could “And I suppose you’d like help fitting your armour, Sir Tesla?”

“Armour?” I chuckled “Don’t need, it, and besides, it’d have to be especially designed as such, I gestured to my twin sets of wings “And besides, I’m a mage, not a warrior”

“They magic is thy blade and thy scales are thy armour” Luna raised an eyebrow

“Thank you” I sighed

“Thou art most welcome, Sir Tesla” she smiled

“Dragon knight of the midnight sun” Blaze simpered

”Mayonaka Nikkō Ryū Kishi” I sighed “you’d think they’d change it a little”

“I know, right?” Blaze grinned

“Tesla, come forth,” Luna called I marched forward, my armoured feet making loud thumps even on the carpeted floor. “Kneel” I went down on one knee

“Tesla, do you swear to serve us, Princess Celestia and Princess Luna, in all we say and command?” Celestia smiled

“I swear to serve you, Princess Celestia and Princess Luna, in all you say and command” I deadpanned

“Do you swear to defend Equestria against all enemies from without and within?” she continued

“Do thou swear to come when needed to assist us in whatever we may require?” Luna glimmered; her sister shot her an odd look

“I swear to come to you when needed to assist you however you may require” An odd thing to add.

Her horn glowed brightly and came down to my shoulder at once as did Celestia’s on my other shoulder

I felt a searing pain as two extra appendages sprung forth from my back and my canines extended into fangs as my eyes burned with the heat of a thousand suns going nova

“Daddy,” Snowdrop leapt forth, clinging onto my as I coughed blood, wiping my mouth as I fell on my backside

“I’m Ok, angel, don’t worry about me” I smiled

“Your teeth, your wings, and your eyes, you…!” she gasped, clinging onto me “I love you Daddy”

“I’m fine Snowy, don’t worry about me, it’s you I’m worried about” I stroked her mane “I love you too Snowdrop, don’t let anyone tell you any differently Ok?”

“Ok” she gleamed; beaming up at me “your eyes are like a cat’s Daddy” she giggled “and your new wings are like that of an angel” I eventually managed to stretch my new wings, getting a decent look at them, the feathers of gold, silver and crimson blazing in the sunlight filtering through the windows

“This should be interesting” I chuckled

“So it should “Blaze quickly bounded forward climbing up my back and perching herself atop my head, staring down at me “Smile” I opened my mouth in a weak smile “Bloody hell, look at them gnashers, and the eyes too, you’re like a demon-angel, a Nephilim!”

“A what,” Luna blinked “What is this ‘Nephilim’ thou speakest of?”

“It’s a hybrid between and angel and a demon, they’re also said to be the sons of god in Abrahamic religions” I explained

“I see” Celestia smiled

“You’ve the voice and wings of a crimson angel, the eyes and fangs of a demon-based creature and the power of a dragon” Blaze chuckled “you’re a ‘thing’”

“That I am” I nodded, staggering to my, feet Snowdrop perched herself on the back of my head and Blaze sitting on my shoulder as I did so “And you’re a little fire hazard”

“Oh am I now?” she laughed “At east those fangs will give you an edge on that meat we’ve stashed away”

“We already ate it remember?” I facepalmed

“Did we?” she folded her paws “I don’t recall such an event happening, Tesla”

“We did” I nodded, walking with the crowd and the princesses out of the throne room, and into the main hall “And it was with Vinyl, if you’d just remember”

“So it was” She slowly nodded “I suppose you can find another one, right?”

As I sat atop the large pile of gems in another dragon’s lair atop another mountain, I bit into the meat that I’d especially cooked

“Happy late Birthday” Blaze held up a thin slice of meat “Are you sure you’re Ok with this Snowdrop?”

“I can manage” Snowdrop looked a little pale

“I won’t do anything you don’t want me to” I sighed

“I’ve been through worse” she faintly smiled

“I see” I slowly nodded as Blaze gorged herself on the roasted dragon carcass “just let me know if there’s something bothering you”

“Ok” she nodded as something behind her let out a yip

“Hello” I smiled as a young, Snow-white wolf plodded toward me, sitting ion it’s haunches, as it stared at the meat I had in my hands “Here” I smiled, the wolf let out a yip, almost smiling as it devoured the meat, fervently licking it’s lips as I cut out another piece, devouring said piece also

“You’re a hungry pup aren’t ya?” Blaze chuckled, the wolf let out an affirmative bark, wagging its tail as it sat beside me, nuzzling into me

“Think I’ll call you… Ryōshi” I smiled, patting the wolf on the head, gleaming as it licked my hand like a sweet, pulling it away “Do you like that name?” the wolf barked “Ryōshi it is then, or Just Rio, are you a boy or a girl, one bark for the former, two for the latter” Ryōshi  barked, twice

“Now that that’s settled, how about coming with me?” she barked again, now definitely smiling as her tail wagged at record-breaking speeds

“Why do you have a wolf following you, not that I’m complaining?” Twilight sighed as I walked into town

“I found her up in the mountains” I bit my lip

“Have you been hunting again?” I shrugged “Really Tesla, the dragon kingdom finds out about this you could be executed” Ryōshi growled “so, what’s its name?”

“Ryōshi, Japanese for ‘hunter’” I smiled

“Of course” Twilight sighed “it’s in a wolf’s nature to hunt, what I want to know is what it was doing on its own” Ryōshi let off as series of yips and light barks

“You were thrown out as the runt of the pack?” I blinked, crouching down, Ryōshi let out a saddening *yip* “Damn”

“You understood that?” Twilight gasped

“I had a few jobs handed to me by the RSPCA” I shrugged

“What’s that?” she smiled

“The Royal Society Protection against Cruelty to Animals” I sighed

“And you worked with them for a bit?” Rarity eyed Ryōshi up and down “I daresay we’ve another Fluttershy on our hands”

“Beg pardon?” I raised an eyebrow

“Fluttershy can communicate with animals, and runs her own sort of sanctuary” Twilight simpered, Ryōshi and I shared a glance with blaze, the three of us suddenly bursting into laughter

“Must you be so rude?” Rarity scoffed

“Do you know what a Lynx is?” I rebuked, she shook her head “basically a wild cat about an inch or two shorter than you, and with almost sabre like teeth”

“And you had a run-in with one of them?” Twilight frowned

“Nope” Blaze grinned “Tesla here acted as a secondary vet, saved the darn things life”

“That’s nothing short of amazing” Twilight hummed “How’d you do it?”

“Secondary, not primary, I only helped” I chuckled

“And yet you did it anyway” she raised an eyebrow, Ryōshi let out a delighted yip as I crouched down to her level, scratching her behind the ears, which she leant into

“You’ve found a weak point, it seems” Celestia appeared via teleportation beside Twilight

“Nah, I just know where to scratch” I moved my hand to around Ryōshi’s chin, she collapsed to the ground

“Given a little time, you could be seen as the Alpha” Twilight

“You don’t mean” I glanced toward Ryōshi, who let out a hum of apparent satisfaction

“It could happen, and where’d you learn where to scratch?” she smirked

“The Wareham forestry Commission had a dog, an Alsatian aptly named Willow”

“That’s nice” she smiled again

“Is it?” Blaze smirked “the same type of dog that lives with the forestry commission is the same type of dog that’s used by both police and military on Tesla’s home-world”

“No..!” Rarity gaped, I nodded

“They’re used as sniffer dogs to find illegal substances and as gundogs to scout ahead for any hostiles, even pincer movements, and they carry around camera so that the owner can see what they see” I explained “they’ve even used them in search-and-rescue operations for their keens senses, who’s to say Ryōshi here can’t do the same?” the wolf let out an excited *yip*

“It wouldn’t be a first; we’ve done a similar sort of things for years now” Celestia glanced down at the snow-white wolf sat by my side, Ryōshi tilted her head “perhaps she could be of used to you, Tesla”

“There’s only one problem” Blaze sighed “how the hell are you gonna stop her from following you into the theatre?”

“Or from howling along with me when I sing” I laughed

“It could happen” Celestia chuckled

“I don’t know what to say” I tilted my head as the pristine wolf yawned, stretching herself as she awoke

“So it is” I nodded, Ryōshi smiled, giving my cheek a light lick, sniffing my jacket before tilting her head at me, licking her lips “I haven’t got any more on me Rio, sorry” her nose twitched as her tail started wagging, and with that she walked toward the previous dragon carcass, sitting facing me once we got there “Or, maybe I do, go ahead Rio” she grinned, turning and lunging at the somewhat fresh kill, tearing chucks out and devouring them

“This is how wolves eat?” Twilight shuddered “it’s both curious and somewhat sickening”

“They don’t exactly use cutlery Twi” Applejack chided “them wolves are feral beasts, nasty critters” Ryōshi let out a low growl

“And yet for a feral beast she seems awfully capable of understanding the difference between a compliment and an insult” I smirked

“Alright, but Ah still say the others are just the same” Ryōshi let out a slight *yip*

“It seems she agrees with you” I chuckled again “And besides we’ve all got a little animal in us, who’s to say she’s an animal who found a little ‘angel’ on the inside?”

“That’s rather poetic” Celestia smiled

“It’s a possibility” I shrugged as Ryōshi dropped a large steak of meat at my feet, sat on her haunches, I sat cross-legged before her, heating the slab of meat with dragon-fire before eating it

“It seems Twilight’s hypothesis on you being the alpha wasn’t wrong” Celestia chuckled

“Am I the Alpha?” I chuckled toward Ryōshi, who let out a light bark, lying in front of me, placing her head on a foreleg as I ate

“I think that’s a yes” Snowdrop giggled

“As do I,” Blaze grinned, “Tesla the Alpha-wolf”

“You’d have to be barking mad to consider it” I gleamed

“Paws for thought eh, Tesla?” she laughed

“You’re bark’s worse than your bite” I smirked

“Is it?” she raised an eyebrow “Here’s another question, how’re you going to get her to Canterlot and back?”

“Shite” I cursed “hadn’t thought of that, unless you allow wolves on your railway systems?”

“We might have to make an exception” Celestia nodded

“Fair enough” I chuckled, again, finishing off the slab of meat that Ryōshi had given me “thanks girl” Ryōshi let out a rather cute *yip*

“I think that means ‘You’re welcome’” Blaze laughed

“So it does” I smiled

As Spike, Rarity and I wandered through the area to the southeast of Ponyville not a month later, Blaze sat on my shoulder, Snowdrop perched on the back of my head, and Ryōshi walked with me

“So why’re we out here again?” Spike shot Blaze a glare

“We’re collecting gems to use for my dresses, and a special surprised for you, Tesla” Rarity chimed as Spike pulled a small red wagon

“Thanks, but I can already smell the gems from here” I smiled, throwing a tennis ball that Twilight had bought for me, the ball landed in a soft mound of earth, which was kicked up as Ryōshi caught the ball “Now dig, girl” and dig she did, using her claws as shovels, revealing a small pile of gems “And return” she bounded back to my side, I threw the ball again, which bounded a bit before rolling to a stop, Ryōshi chased after it “back a bit” I gestured for her to come closer to me, she did, walking toward me “stop” she stopped “dig” she dug another small hole, revealing another pile of gems

“How is it that you can smell them?” Rarity blinked as spike collected the gems, placing them in the wagon

“As a dragon slayer, I have enhanced senses, such as scent and hearing, like the ability to hear someone over there talking to himself” there was a rustling of leaves as a misshapen dog-thing fell out of a nearby tree, wearing a red jacket with a collar around its neck, said collar had a diamond shaped topaz hanging by a small metal ring

“How you find me?” the being gaped, staring at me in horror, Ryōshi let out a threatening growl toward the creature

“I can hear you,” I smirked “and smell you” I covered my nose “you could use a bath” the creature quickly dug a hole under ground

“What was that?” Spike blinked

“Whatever it was, it’s probably not happy that we’re hunting for gems” I frowned “Spike, hang on to that wagon, Ryōshi, lay low” Ryōshi dipped her head in preparation as I bought a clenched fist down on the ground, causing a grade six-point-eight on the Richter scale, grinning as the earth shook as the misshapen dog re-emerged from underground by the tree along with two others, one small and pale brown, one large and a mild grey colour

“What you want?” the medium-sized creature growled, Ryōshi snarled back

“What’re you doing spying on us?” I snapped

“We keep post, these are our mines” he scowled

“you see those mountains, I pointed westward “in the caves at the peaks of those hills lies masses of gems, if that’s what you want, go there, if not, they’re ours”

“We don’t dig upward, but we’d like them anyway” he grinned

“And in exchange,” Blaze folded her arms “what do we get for helping you?”

“You say there are two, yes?” I nodded “then you keep one”

“Why don’t you just dig to the base and climb the rest of the way up?” Snowdrop offered

“Ok” the creature shrugged, tunnelling underground

“Dumbasses” I tutted “there’s probably another dragon in those caves by now”

“Their loss” Snowdrop shrugged

“Amen” I nodded “have we got enough gems?”

“We should do, if not we can just return for more” Rarity smiled, taking the lead with Spike as we wandered back to ponyville

“You had a run-in with Diamond dogs?” Twilight chuckled as Spike, Ryōshi, Blaze, Snowdrop and I sat in the library alongside Twilight’s friends

“Diamond dog, like the album?” Blaze chortled

“I don’t get it?” Spike shrugged as Twilight glanced at the lizard

“There was a music artist called David Bowie who released an album called ‘Diamond Dogs’” I explained

“I see” she giggled as I glanced toward Spike

“So, what are you?” I tilted my head

“I’m a dragon” Spike smirked

“Albeit, a baby dragon” Twilight nickered

“I’m not that young!” Spike retorted

“In pony years” she raised an eyebrow

“I’m technically an infant” I shrugged “I know how you feel, mate, I’ve got another billion years ahead of me, give our take eighty or ninety years”

“So, what’s that in human years compared to eon years” Rarity smiled “your age I mean?”

“Just under a year in eon years, eighty in human years”

“How is that possible?” Twilight’s eye twitched

“Biology” I shrugged

“Tell me, EVERYTHING!” she demanded, magicking up a pen and notepad

“Tesla, you’re next event’s tomorrow” the cyan mare from the orchestra smiled as I stood in the theatre with my new ‘family’ “What’s with the wolf?”

“She’s my friend, say hi Ryōshi” I smiled, Ryōshi let out a light yip

“I never got your name” I smiled back

“Beauty Brass” she winked, walking out of the theatre “be ready for tomorrow!”

When tomorrow came, and I stood with my family on the stage, there were several series’ of mutterings being passed from pony-to-pony, all of them about Ryōshi, I cleared my throat, they stopped, all facing me

I know you're wondering when “I finished the song, Blaze doing the background vocals for a third time running as the crowd burst into applause and cheering, relinquishing the stage for the rest of the orchestra

“That was amazing Daddy!” Snowdrop cheered

“Glad you think so angel” I sighed as Ryōshi did her business under a tree  behind a bush in the gardens

“I know so” she giggled

“No guitar this time?” Blaze laughed

“Not this time” I sighed as Ryōshi returned to being by my side “maybe next time, right Ryōshi?” the wolf let out a gleeful *yip*

“I was half expecting her to take a crap right in front of you in the theatre” Blaze smirked

“Nah, I’ve trained her well” I smiled

“So you have” Vinyl appeared beside me alongside Octavia “What’s her name?”

“Ryōshi, which translates simply as ‘Hunter’ in Japanese”

“You mean neighponese?” she laughed

“Call it a similarity between our worlds” I smiled

“So it is” Octavia eyed Ryōshi up and down “she’s a rather elegant being, for a wolf where’d you find her?”

“Somewhere in the mountain range, alone” Blaze sighed

“She the runt huh,” Vinyl raised an eyebrow

“Unfortunately, I met her after I’d ‘incapacitated’ shall we say, another dragon

“You didn’t” Octavia went a little pale

“She had her fill, and I had mine, that’s all I care about” I shrugged

“You roguish bastard,” Vinyl chortled “you did it again didn’t you?”

“Celestia herself said she’s alright with it so long as we keep our ‘limits’ set” I winked

“She mentioned me?” she gasped

“No, but I’m sure I can come to a compromise” I grinned

“This is awesome” Vinyl drooled as she, Snowdrop, Ryōshi, Blaze and I sat around the dragon-flame-grilled dragon carcass juts on the edges of the everfree forest, eating away at it, save Snowdrop

“May I try a bit, Daddy?” Snowdrop stepped forward

“If you want” I sighed, handing her a small piece of meat, which she ate, a curious expression on her muzzle at first, which turned into a look of sheer delight afterward  

“This’s amazing!” she chimed

“Told you so” Blaze smirked, I shot her an odd look “what?”

“You’re too assertive, Blaze”

“And your too unassertive” she grinned as my ears twitched

“You hear that?” I raised a hand, dropping what I was doing and standing upright, Ryōshi’s nose rapidly twitching as she ran off along the edge of the forest, eventually letting out a faint bark as I ran after her with Snowdrop and Blaze at me heels

When we caught up with Ryōshi, there was a brownish-grey unicorn with a chocolate brown mane and tail lying there, quivering in fear

Being as careful as I could, I crouched down to the pony, that of whom was covered in bruises and cuts

“It’s alright; I’m not going to harm you” I cooed, placing a gentle hand on the pony’s side, she flinched, but eventually relaxed as I gently stroked her fur, lifting her head, snapping her eyes shut as they came into contact with mine “It’s alright, I won’t hurt you, Mage’s honour”

“You mean that..?” she sniffled, tears streaming down her cheeks as she opened on eye, then the other

“I don’t harm those who don’t ask for it” I nodded “do you have a name?”

“Littlepip” she gulped audibly

“Where are you from?” I smiled, weakly

“Las Pegasus” she croaked

“Blaze, get Twilight, stat” I glanced at the Quilava sat beside me

“Roger that!” Blaze saluted toward me, bounding off toward Ponyville

“She can talk?” Littlepip giggled softly “that’s strange

“That’s my sister” I chuckled “she’s as strange as they get around her, almost”

“You look nothing alike” she smiled

“We get that a lot,” I sighed “her parents were killed by poachers

“I’m sorry to hear that” she blinked “your eyes are funny”

“Being knighted will have that effect, especially if it’s from both princesses simultaneously” Snowdrop nickered

“You’re her knight?” Littlepip stared at me, raising an eyebrow “you’ve also got fangs

“I don’t bite, unless it’s on my food” I smiled

“You’re actually kind of cute” she laughed

“That’s twice I’ve heard that since I came here not even a month ago” I rolled my eyes

“Tesla?” I glanced behind me, Twilight, her friends and Celestia with Blaze as my sister bounded up beside me “Blaze says you found something

“That’d be me” Littlepip mumbled

“Where’d you come from?” Twilight gasped

“Las Pegasus” Littlepip bit her lip “and I don’t want to go back”

“Why not, I’d of thought it to be luxurious” Rarity blinked

“That’s upper-Las Pegasus” Littlepip sighed “it’s not important”

“It is if it involves one of my subjects” Celestia raised an eyebrow

“I’m sorry; I just don’t know who to talk to about it” Littlepip exhaled sharply

“Try talking to me about it” I smiled

“What?” she blinked

“Just try, see if it works”

“Alright” she shrugged “It all started when I was a filly, since my dad died, my mom’s been taking care of me, well, she used to, before she went elsewhere, said I wasn’t important enough, threw me into an orphanage, I was both angry and heartbroken at that, and when they’d had enough they kicked me out, I had to steal and beg just to get any food, drink or sleep, and that’s not even the least of it”

“What do you-?” she glanced toward her flank, were dried bloodstains were showing on her rump

“That’s…” I shook my head

“That’s unbelievable!” Blaze growled, not at me but at the story Littlepip had shocked us with

“You had to do that, just to get by?” my eye twitched, I shook my head “come on” I held out a hand

“What’re you doing?” Littlepip sat on her haunches, flinching as she did so

“Getting you out of here” I smiled

“But, what, about you?” Celestia blinked”

“Being a knight means I protect, and serve,” I simpered “it means that I do what I feel is right,, and that’s what I’m going to do,” I turned to face Littlepip “come on, let’s go”

“Alright then” Littlepip shrugged, collapsing as soon as she tried to walk

“Here,” I changed to my eon form “climb on”

“What?” she blinked

“Climb on, I can carry you” I glanced back toward her

“If you want me to” she sighed again, climbing on, gently wrapping her hooves around my neck as Snowdrop perched herself on my head, and Blaze on my neck

“And where are we going to get this money to pay for her from?” Blaze pointed out

“When do I get paid?” I blinked

“Tomorrow, if my estimates are correct. Which they usually are,” Blaze smirked “but first we need to get to the hospital”

“That we do” I nodded, gliding toward said hospital

When we got to the hospital, a snow-white pony with a light pink mane and tail walked up to me in a nurse outfit

“What’s the nature of your emergency?” the pony smiled, I turned around “oh, come right this way, I’ll have somepony look at her right away!” I followed her into a vacant room, setting her down on the bed as Blaze climbed down my back and onto the floor

“Thank you…?” Littlepip raised an eyebrow as I reverted to human form

“Tesla” I held out a hand, which she shook

“Thank you, Tesla” she smiled “I owe you my life”

“You owe me nothing” I chuckled

“But I do” she retorted with a slight frown, and an also slight tint of anger in her voice “I told you everything and you still act as if it didn’t happen, so to speak, who are you exactly?”

“An eon, a human, and a dragon slayer” I shrugged

“You can kill dragons?” she nodded toward me “for real?”

“I can easily bring an equestrian dragon flat on its backside” I tutted

“An ‘equestrian’ dragon, Tesla,” Twilight frowned

“With all do respect, it’s just that the ones from Earth and Earthland tend to be more, you know, draconic, killer, ferocious, intimidating, not some massive thirty-to-fifty-foot hulking wings gecko”

“Spikes not a gecko!” she snapped

“And he’s not exactly Igneel either” I rolled my eyes, again

“Who,” she blinked

“Fifty-feet-long fire-dragon king” I laughed “he’d easily beat all the dragons on Equis and get out relatively unscathed, from what I’ve seen so far”

“I’d hate to meet him then” Littlepip nickered

“He’s harmless unless you annoy him” I smiled “it’s just the booming voice you have to get by, other than that unless provoked, he won’t do anything to harm or bring harm to anyone”

“He doesn’t sound that bad” Rainbow Dash scoffed

“That depends on the perspective” I tilted my head ever-so-slightly

“So it does” Celestia smiled

Once Littlepip was out of hospital, I headed to canterlot, once there, I stood in the theatre

“Tesla,” Beauty Brass handed me a questionably large bag that clinked with its content when she passed it to me “Here’s your pay for your work, and a little extra in it for the effort” she winked, walking from the castle toward the city, stopping and glancing back toward me “next event is tonight at nine, Ok?”

“Ok” I nodded

“What do you do here in Canterlot?” Littlepip blinked

“Tesla’s a solo singer for the orchestra” Blaze smirked

“Oh,” Littlepip blinked, glancing up at me “I’d heard of a new member, I’d never of thought it’d be you, Tesla”

“Surprise” I clicked my tongue as a familiar eon glided toward me

“I was wondering where you were, Tesla” Crystal grinned, glancing at the bag “what’s in there

“My pay for being a part of the orchestra” I gleamed

“You do music now?” she laughed

“No, he sings” Snowdrop giggled

“And who might you be?” Crystal blinked

“Snowdrop she held out a hoof, which Crystal shook

“Crystal,” Crystal raised an eyebrow toward me “magic?”

“Magic” I nodded

“So, you sing now?”

“Look who’s talking” I stifled a laugh

“Oh the irony” she sighed, gazing toward Littlepip, glancing back at me “who’s she?”

“I’m Littlepip” Littlepip smiled “And you’re Tesla’s marefriend?”

“We’re married, but it’s an open relationship” Crystal winked

“Ah, Ok” Littlepip slowly nodded
