Twilight Sparkle POV

We had just gotten off the train from the Chrystal empire when we saw the increase in security which scared me a bit considering the last time that this sort of thing happened the Changelings invaded. Fortunately for me and my friends a guard came to escort us to the castle before i had a nervous breakdown.

At the castle half an hour later.

We where accompanied to the castle throne room and the guard would only say that Celestia requested to see the seven of us when we came back from the Empire. As we entered the throne room the first thing i noticed was Princess Luna had a cast on her shoulder "Ah my faithful student" Celestia said "I am glad to hear that you've saved the Crystal Empire and i don't want to down play what you've done." she said as her voice turned to concern "How ever while all of you where gone something happened". I just stood there wondering what she meant before asking "Does this have something to do with the increased security?" Celestia was about to speak before Princess Luna stepped in "Last night one of the statues in the royal gardens shattered releasing its captive and said creature did this to my shoulder."She said as she motioned to her injured shoulder.

I grabbed my mouth in shock before Fluttershy surprisingly asked the question "was it discord?" Luckily for us the Princesses shook there heads in disagreement "The creature that escaped was 'The Hunter'" Everypony just looked confused wondering what statue that was. As me and Spike looked at each other horrified that our favorite statue was actually a monster.

Celestia turned to a window "It all started 350 years ago" she started before rainbow stepped in "Wait your saying that a threat from your past isn't from 1000 years ago?" She asked as everypony looked at her funny. "What all the threats from her past we've face over the past 3 years have been from 1000 years ago i mean Sombra, Discord.... um" she stopped in her tracks not wanting ot offend Luna as the point was already made.

"Ahem" Celestia said causing everypony to turn to her "may i return to what i was saying?" she asked as we all nodded. "Good as i was saying it all started 350 years ago."

350 years ago

Celestia POV

I was sitting in my throne room listening to some nobles complain for something that i rely couldn't care for as a guard busted in shouting"Princess Celestia!" he shouted before he bowed. "My apologies for intruding you're majesty but something happened in the country side and the local guards where overwhelmed by something unknown." he said as i got up . " I'll deal with this problem myself" I said and left for the armory.

Armory a couple moments later.

I entered the armory and greeted the blacksmith "Hello SteelHooves."i said as he turned to me and said "Ah good afternoon Princess Celestia what can i do for you?" he said with a smile as he returned to hammering a shield "I've come to see if the armor i ordered is ready?"i asked as he moved the shield to a manikin covered in armor before asking "is this to your liking princess?" I nodded as i started to take the armor off the manikin "It's perfect but where did you get the idea for this? I asked wondering where it came from-

(Some random ass forest a couple hours later)

'that should be the cave the last guard told me about' i thought to myself as i entered said cave.
