Chapter 2: Dresses to Make.

Previous Chapter Next Chapter
Dresses to Make.

Rarity decided to hold her plans to get Applejack until she was on her way to pick up her sister; that way it would arouse less suspicion than if Applejack just goes randomly missing with no prior places that she even needed to be. Rarity had the plan worked out in her mind, and not small little snip-its and bits of a plan forming together slowly; a full on 'I'm seriously going to fucking do this' type of plan. She'd found a way to leave absolutely no trace of her soon to be actions, the plan was already fully made up; her mind was set on the goal at hoof, and no matter the cost, she would get that dress done!

She was anxious, but that didn't hold her back from thinking up the plan; running the sinister and dark plan through her mind over and over until it was burnt into her mind. For the moment, she would need a practice go; a mare, stallion, colt or filly. Anypony she could get her deranged hooves on now would work, and their coat could not be ugly! She still had to keep the snooty, prissy, and picky attitude that defined her; the fashionista was hellbent on this dress and its completion, she was going to see this all of the way through even if that meant she would lose some of her best friends in the process. It was all an important sacrifice for her job, she had tp make money; and killing ponies and using their coats would bring nothing but profit in Rarity's eyes.

Her thoughts didn't feel like her own, but she desperately needed something to help her, whether it be a coffee, or a smoothee; she just needed a nice drink or food to calm her nerves and maybe give her a bit of inspiration on who her very first target would be. Her mind was settled, she would go out looking as if she's on a casual trip to get something to eat and drink; taking a bit of a break from all of the harsh works that come with being only Ponyville's very finest fashionista! It was hard being fashionable! Especially in a town that goes fucking nude most of the damn time; her fashion genius was being wasted in this dead-end of a town, but she stayed here because she had great roots tied to this city that she just couldn't get herslef to leave. But with this final act she may be able to move up in the fashion industry; but she needed a muse, somepony nopony would miss, nopony would notice was gone.

She'd decided to go to the resteraunt and order a nice dandelion leaf sanwich, which she ate also gulping down an iced tea with lemon and a bit of apple juice waiting for the unsuspecting victim to waltz by and give her the spntaneous inspiration to start her killing spree. She sat there for about two hours, just drinking glass after glass of iced tea soon getting sick of the taste of the tea and pushing it aside sighing in defeat; she'd never thought it would be so hard to find just a random pony that nopony would miss! She decided to return to her home at Carousel Boutique, nothing being accomplished today, and Sweetie Belle got out of school in four horus; she would need to work fast if she was going to get anything done.

Rarity was just unlocking her front door, when the extremely clumsy mail-mare lovingly nicknamed 'Derpy Hooves,' by all of Ponyville; knocking Rarity to the ground without a moments notice. They both tumbled to the ground as the gray pegasus got up looking slightly embarrassed that she had run once again into the prissy unicorn. Rarity shot a look at the awkward looking pegasus, her eyes were positioned slightly awkwardly; one eye looking up and to the left, the other looking down and to the right. She was realatively unknown, she'd become a bit of a friendly joke around town; nopony really meant to offend her by calling her Derpy. It was just a nickname that stuck, nopony ever heard her story about how her eyes got like that in the first place; then again, nopony really cared in the first place, point was, absolutely nopony would come looking for her if she were to mysteriously disappear.

Rarity got up and smiled at the awkward pony, "Oh hello Derpy." Rarity covered her mouth realizing what she'd just done, saying that to Ditzy like that. She just looked into Rarity's eyes and frowned, her face sagging like a bag filled with water; and pierced with a sharp needle letting out a small stream of tears to roll down her cheeks. Rarity looked upon the pegasus, "I'm very sorry Ditzy, It's just become a force of habit you know... I don't mean anything by it you know..." Rarity's voice had a false sincerity to it, trying to get the crying mare into her shop; which knowing Ditzy Doo, would be a lot harder than she would ever imagine, for she took her mail-mare job extremely seriously never wanting to deliver a bit of mail even a second late.

Ditzy's eyes still watered, hurt that Rarity had said that. She reached back into her bag to pull out Rarity's mail, which she handed to the fashionista as she lowered her head slightly; the tears being encrusted into the envelopes, the tears wetting the envelopes around their edges. She found it absolutely appaling that she grabbed the mail with her teeth; that's absolutely and downright unsanitary in the fashionista's eyes. But she took the mail with her magic, and gave the mail-mare a reassuring but fake grin, knowing it would calm the pegasus' nerves. She put the mail on a table inside and approached the gray pegasus, with a false sense of kindness in her voice; "Ditzy Doo, could you come inside for a second? I could really use your help with a major dress project i'm working on for somepony up in Canterlot! Please Ditzy, I'm begging you! Nopony else will be able to help me! I know this is last second, but i really need somepony's help if i'm to ever get this dress finished on time." Rarity said with her sad pathetic tone of voice that she'd used to persuade fate to roll her way, but the mare just looked st her reluctantly; not wanting to go inside while she still had mail to be delivered.

Ditzy looked down, at least Rarity thought she did; it was hard to tell given the situations with her eyes in the first place, so she insinuated that she was looking down. "Well, I have a lot of to work to do; you know mail to deliver, places to go, you get the importance of doing your job right?" the gray pegasus said bleakly, her words were slightly slurred from her speech impediment, "Sorry Rarity, i'd love to help you, but I've just got way too much on my plate right now; work is really getting strenuous these days, they're having me run multiple shifts around Ponyville. Letters going back and forth, it's just... ugh," Ditzy looked up to a Rarity who's face was lost and confused, "Oh, sorry! I'm boring you and keeping you from your work, i'll let you get back to that..." She started walking away when stopped by a frantic, but still sane, Rarity who was still trying her to ge inside of the shop; Ditzy was still very reluctant to go inside of the shop because of the amount of mail she had to deliver. "Rarity, I'm sorry, I just can't do it! I've got two more loads of mail waiting back for me at the post office! I've still got so much work to do!" Ditzy was backing away when once again approached by Rarity, but this time her face was sad; it broke Ditzy's heart as she caved in to the demand of the fashionista who's face immediately perked up.

"Great!" Rarity managed to get out of her mouth, before mumbling under her breath; 'It's an experience to die for you know' and escorting the gray mare inside of Carousel Boutique, and closing the door. Ditzy didn't notice Rarity locking the door, she was too mezmerized by the wonderful boutique she was now inside of; gawking at every little bit of the scenery which comlemented themselves in such a way that she was at a loss for words. Rarity smiled and went into the kitchen for a little bit, "I'm going to make us some tea darling, I'll be right out to see you in a tick dear. Feel free to make yourself comfortable any where you please; just please do not..." Rarity heard a crash knowing that she'd jinxed herself by telling the clumsy mare not to break anything. Rarity sighed loudly and continued trotting to the kitchen, "Nevermind then... Please sit down and don't break anything else." the fashionista said with the mare in the main room looked there sheepish, awkward, and embarrassed; though Rarity knew she wouldn't be a problem for a whole lot longer.

Back out in the main room Ditzy was still mezmerised by the fashionable art and tones that complimented each other elegantly in the regal room. Though she didn't know what Rarity was really planning; if she would have, she would have never decided to ome inside. But she was at peace, the fine furniture and mannequins adorned the room; it was a weird feeling of a false happiness that Rarity had set up for anypony she'd lure into her trap. It has taking its full toll on poor little Ditzy Doo, but she couldn't help it. She turned around quickly when she heard Rarity coming with a tray levitating above her slightly, the cups clinking on the regal tray she was serving them on; along with sugar cubes, cookies, and a small bit of scones and buscuits. Ditzy sat down at the table at the end of the room; sitting down slowly eying the food on the tray which looked absolutely delicious to Ditzy who hadn't seen such elegantly crafted foods; each fold exactly the same as the last, each cookie the same size and colour-hue.

Rarity smiled, "Eat up darling, I can tell you are hungry from your benders moving back and forth all over Ponyville delivering mail to everypony whether that they thank you or not. You deserve it!" Rarity's smile grew dark as the gray, clueless mare ate the foods, scarfing them down her gullet one after another; it slightly disgusted Rarity, but she dare not ruin her plan to get the mare to drink the tea, purposely making the food salty and dry as the infernal fucking summer air. Ditzy licked her lips, her tongue running over the salt as she reached for the sugar cubes to put into her tea; Rarity's eyes widened as the mare began drinking the tea, and Rarity's grin grew most sinister as the mare started to sawy from side to side. She was becoming incoherent, babbling to herself like some sort of crazy pony; but that didn't bother Rarity right now. The gray mare finally collapsed onto the table, sending the foods flinging across the room; Rarity would worry about that mess later, right now; she had a bigger mess to make...
