friendship is magicka: the new world
Chapter 11: The kingdom under the ground
Previous ChapterThe journey was a long, harsh and filled with many dangers that plagued the long roads. But, for our heroes, it was another story. For them it was simply another adventure. They wandered around forests, waded through rivers and took strolls along mountain sides, until finally they had reached the reach, where they set up camp on the cliff side.

Edwin stared down on the map Nickulas had provided him, according to this map the entrance was on the cliff.
"Still staring at that map", a voice called from behind.
Edwin turned around to see a familiar, short brown haired man.
"Let me give you of advice, never trust a map with a simple circle around the area you're looking for", Brandon explained. "especially, when the map was written hundreds of years ago".
"If it was written hundreds of years ago, then how is it still in a good condition?" Edwin asked.
Brandon shrugged his shoulders. "Magicka?".
"That's not how magicka works", Edwin explained.
"Even if that is so, Skyrim has changed since Soven Rahn was built all those years ago", Brandon explained.
"That may be, but most nordic ruins still stand to this day", Edwin responded.
"Look", Brandon said, attempting to imitate persuasive tone. "I know that you and Nickulas fought alongside each other during the rebellion, but you two haven't seen each other in four years, you two have clearly changed over the years".
"Listen, Brandon", Edwin said, walking over to his teammate. "The next time I hear you doubt my friend, I'll throw you off the cliff".
Edwin went back to look over his map, leaving Brandon with an angry scowl.
'That little b-'
"That didn't look to good".
Brandon turned around to see the speaker.
"What do you want, mercenary", he spat.
"Just observing your little argument", Caveleinn answered innocently.
"Well I don't want to talk to you", he snapped, walking over to one of the tents angrily.
"Was it something I said?", Caveleinn aksed himself

Twilight sat down on the edge of the cliff, wandering what was happening to her friends. She heard the sounds of people sitting next to her.
"Ya alright Sugarcube?", Applejack asked.
"Yes, I'm just worried for our friends, what they might be doing at the moment, if", she paused before continuing. "If they're even still alive".
"Ah, they'll be fine", Rainbow Dash said confidently.
"But, what if they're not?", Twilight asked.
"Listen Twilight, those girls are some tough cookies", Applejack explained.
Twilight looked at Applejack.
"Well, Pinkie's a tough cookie", Applejack corrected.
"And what about Spike?", Twilight asked.
"Ah, don't know", Applejack responded.
"See, what if something's happened to Spike, if he's died, then, I don't know what I would do", Twilight explained.
"But that's why we're here, to get answers".
The three girls jumped in sound of the voice, they turned and saw Nickulas.
"We could have gone in search of the rogues, but some of us are not on good terms with them", Nickulas explained.
"Um, the who?", Rainbow Dash asked.
"People you would rather not be associated with", he explained. "Now you should get some sleep, It's going to hard to find Soven Rahn at night".
"I guess you're right", Twilight said.
As soon as Twilight stood up the rocks she was sitting on collapsed causing her to fall off the cliff.
"TWILIGHT!", Applejack and Rainbow Dash screamed as they attempted to grab their friends hand. Twilight screamed as she fell down the hole.
Edwin and the others raced over from what they were doing.
"What the hell just happened?" Avulsteinn yelled.
"By Talos she didn't", Edwin said, worried.
Rainbow Dash looked down where her friend just fell.
"TWILIGHT!", she yelled. "TWILIGHT!".
No voice responded to her calls.
"No", Rainbow said quietly.
"Guys", a feminine voice called back up to them.
Edwin and Nickulas breathed a sigh of relief.
"Twilight, you're okay", Rainbow called.
"Don't worry, I'm coming to get you", Edwin called. "Just stay still.
Edwin climbed down the rocks, being very careful not to slip on any of the rocks. With just a few more steps down he saw Twilight, looking very worried.
"Don't worry I'm here", Edwin said. "Now let's get you out... of.... here.
"What is it?", Twilight asked.
Edwin looked very closely at one of the walls, noticing a faint, door-like outline to it.
"Nickulas", Edwin called.
"Yeah", Nickulas responded.
"Could you come down here?" Edwin asked.
"Why?", Nickulas asked.
"I think I've found something", Edwin called.
"Okay, I'l be right down there", he called back.
Edwin and Twilight heard the sound of someone climbing down the rocks.
"Okay, what did you call me for?", Nckulas asked climbing down.
"Could you look at that area of the wall?", Edwin asked.
"Sure", Nickulas said looking closely around the wall taking in every detail. He then pulled out a strange key and looked at the side of it.
"frolok vahlt do faal miiraad ahrk frolok tum wah faal nivosevild ko vund", Nickulas read quietly.
Nickulas scanned the edge of the door and placed the key in a small crack in the wall and turned the key. The area of the door they were looking at began to shift until it opened like a door. Nickulas looked back towards Twilight and Edwin.
"Tell the others", he began. "That we've found Soven Rahn.
