From now on I'm sort of... seperating Dorchester from Living The Dream, his point of view on things, like if another adventure takes place, Dorchester will either stay back, or go with them. P.S. It was a pain trying to find Star Chasers and Nova's names... gotta remember... chapter 76... Or... YOU COULD PUT THEM IN MORE CHAPTERS... :|

CHAPTER EIGHTEEN: Truth

I woke up, in a hospital bed with Luna sleep next to me. I remembered her telling me everything... the truth. The Luna I knew, wasn't real... the Luna I loved as my favorite pony... wasn't real... everything about her was just one big lie. I looked over to my left at Luna, her eyes closed and her deep breathing.

"Luna... wake up..." I whispered, pushing her, trying to get her awake.

"Hmm?" She asked, slowly opening her eyes.

"Tell me what you told me... earlier today..." I said, I wanted to make sure I wasn't dreaming.

"What do you mean?"

"You said... you told me about fake Luna."

"Oh yes... that was all a nightmare."

I couldn't help laugh to myself, a dream within a dream, Inception...

"We found you in The Underground, saying something about Fake Luna and Real Luna. We tried to wake you up, but we couldn't, you've been out for a few days now."

A few days? What about Starch, Lance, and Frederic?

"What about-" I began, Luna cut me off.

"Everypony else is fine. The Darkness was defeated." Luna said reassuringly.

"Oh... good..." I felt my horn with my hoof, good, I was still an alicorn.

"Your new look... what happened?"

"I defeated one of The Darkness, and I guess I absorbed his power... and now I'm an alicorn." I said with a small laugh. Luna closed her eyes and rested her head on my chest, and whispered.

"Get some sleep, you've had a rough journey." Luna said.

She was right, I closed my eyes and went to sleep.

The next morning I woke up to Luna's head still on my chest. She looked so peaceful, I tried raising my hoof, it felt like lifting lead but I did it, and rested it on Luna's head. My entire body felt sore and like one big stone. I remembered getting hit with something on my face, I lifted my other hoof (with much difficulty) and felt bandages on the same area. It was going to leave a nasty scar... Luna opened her eyes and greeted me with a smile.

"Morning." Luna said, I responded with a groan. I felt sore all over and I was hungry.

"Let me go get you something to eat." Luna said, getting up and leaving. When she returned, Frederic and their children were with them.

"Uncle Dorchester!" Nova squeeled with delight, ran up to me, and wrapped her hooves around my neck.

God that fuckin' HURTS!

Just a filly... don't... AACK!

Despite the unbearable pain, I was able to laugh at Nova's happiness at seeing me. Star Chaser looked up at me with a shy smile, poor guy has never seen anything like me. I remembered, my eyes!

"Frederic! My eyes!" I hissed at him, he laughed and showed me a mirror. Huh, my eyes were normal. I guess they turn that way when I feel negative emo-

I remembered what I did to Spark...

I shoved the guilt off, I wasn't going to be like that anymore.

"Go and say hi to Dorchester." Luna said, nuzzling Star Chaser closer to my hospital bed with her muzzle. He squeeked and ran behind Frederic who picked him up with his magic and set him on my lap, I yelped in pain and gave Frederic a nasty look. He chuckled. I looked down at Star Chaser, sitting on my stomach while Nova played with my tail, which was hanging out on the side of the bed.

"What's wrong little buddy?" I asked him, Star Chaser was nothing like his parents, almost as shy as Fluttershy.

"You can talk to me," I said kindly, Star Chaser looked up at me, and then at his parents. They gave him approving nods, he looked up at me and opened his mouth to speak.

"H... H... Hi..." He squeeked. I smiled at him, and forced myself to pick up both my hooves and wrap them around Star Chaser, he squeeked as I took him.

HAVE MERCY ON OUR SOULS!

WHAT DID WE EVER DO TO YOU?

I ignored Truth and Reason, still hugging Star Chaser, he slowly wrapped his hooves around me. I let go on him, he did the same and looked up at me. His big shining eyes, he jumped off and walked over to Luna and whispered something into her ear, she giggled and blushed. Frederic slugged Star Chaser on the shoulder and smirked at him playfully.

"Hey, don't talk like that when your old man's around." He joked.

"What he say?" I asked.

Luna, still blushing, spoke.

"He said he thinks your better looking then, I quote, 'Old Pops'". Luna laughed again. Frederic snorted.

"Alright tyke, that's enough word outta you." Frederic smirked, picking up his son and daughter.

"But I want to stay with Uncle Dorchester! Mooooom!" Nova whined. I chuckled.

Finally... if you were going to hug or make ANY contact with those two again, I swear, I would have ripped your head clean off!

Then we'd all be head.

Damn, your right.

Luna was the last to leave, she winked at me slyly as she left. I winked back, my horn glowed and I turned on the TV at the end of the room, and enjoyed the rest of my solitude. When I got bored, I turned the TV off and rang for a nurse. Luna had forgotten my food, but I didn't care. I got to see my god-children, all was peaceful.
