CHAPTER FIFTEEN: The Underground

My horn glowed, I had to find Lance! I had to redeem myself! I closed my eyes, I was in Pleasant Fields, Bleak had gone somewhere else.

I can feel his presence nearby! He's... underground? Truth said, he looked down.

He's underground, Dorchester... I will fuel you with energy! You must break down and help him!

I suddenly felt this massive surge of energy, I threw my head at the ground, and blasted it with a massive bolt of energy. Sure enough, a cobblestone tunnel was revealed. I flew down under it, I heard some ponies talking after a few minutes exploring the underground. I noticed a wooden door, I pressed my ear up against it. I heard Lance screaming in pain!

"STOP!"

I had to help him, but by the sound of it, there were many others in there.

"Feel the pain Lance! We will ressurect Him!"

They must be talking about Lace, we need to go get Bleak! Reason yelled into my ear. I nodded at her and set off to find Bleak. I spread my wings and flew through the tunnels until I found the hole that I created with my magic, my horn began to glow and I saw Bleak looking around. I sped towards him and met up with him several seconds later. Gotta love those transportation spells.

"Bleak! I found Lance and Frederic! They're trapped in some type of dungeon!"

All the color drained from Bleak's face.

"This is bad, this is very very bad... They've already begun the ritual! We must hurry before He rises! Hurry! Take me to Lance!" Bleak took me by the shoulders when he talked to me.

"Okay, follow me!" I said, beckoning him forward with my hoof. I showed him the crater I made.

"Nice detonation spell, but that's not the point. We've got a prince and a boy to save!" Bleak said, we bolted into the tunnels, and began to search for the large wooden door.
