Chapter 10: Chapter Nine: A New Pony
Previous Chapter Next ChapterCHAPTER NINE: A New Pony
I had just finished playing after another terrible night. I couldn't take it anymore, I had to talk to someone, my plans have gotten me anywhere but further away from my revenge! I was just a simple earth pony, no wings, no horn, no powers. I was just like a human... but weaker. I had to do something... I had to. That's when I got the idea, I needed some sort of transformation. I had to become something better, stronger in every way. I headed to Lance's and Twilight's house. I had to know if there was someway to change me. I waited until the sun rose, and I was sure the family had awoken. When I knocked on their door I was greeted by a smiling Twilight Sparkle. It was all smiles here, made me sick.
"Morning Dorchester, do you need anything?" Twilight asked after greeting me inside. I saw Spark running around, laughing his head off. The potion really did work.
"Yeah, there was a mistake when I entered this world. I was hoping to be a unicorn." I said, I chuckled a bit.
"Ooh, you need a transformation spell! Sadly, the only person who has got that much magic is Greg... and he's past out in his room." Twilight sighed.
"I think I can wake him up." I trotted over to Greg's door, without knocking, and swung it open. Sure enough, Greg had passed out on his bed with weed all over the ground. Disguisting.
"Wake up you lazy piece of shit." I hissed at Greg, and knocked him off his bed.
"Huh? What? Oh... Hey Dorchester." Greg greeted me with a dorky smile. One a high person would give you. I coughed, this smoke is enough to kill a foal. I laughed inside, but that wouldn't be happening. At least today.
"I need you to turn me into a unicorn, at the same time, preform a double personality spell like you did with Lance." Yeah, he told me all about his "Breaking Dawn." and "Raging Breaking Dawn." I couldn't help think of that damn Twilight series, I'm glad it won't carry on here, so at least that was an upside.
"Oh yeah... I'm real good with that stuff." Greg's horn glowed, and he fired a shot of magic at me.
"AH! FUCK!" I roared, I felt something push against my skull, I began to roll on the floor screaming: "FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCKING SHIT DAMNIT!"
Twilight entered the room and gasped.
"Greg! What did you do?"
"Simple, gave him a horn is what I did..." Greg smiled smuggly.
"I'm going to kill you! You should have told me it was going to hurt this fuckin' much!" I was still rolling on the ground.
"They see me rollin', they hatin'." Greg sang and fell back laughing and passed out. Out cold.
Twilight's horn glowed and I felt the pain go away. I felt my forehead, I felt a large horn with a sharp point. Perfect for stabbing, I guess a ponies horn corresponded with their personality.
"Heh... thanks Twilight. Is Spark okay?" I asked, I knew he was fine, no negative emotions.
"Oddly enough, he's acting as though nothing ever happened. I feel as though everything bad, is good."
"Well, a happy foal equals a good parent. Think I could borrow some books on magic wielding?" I asked.
"Yeah, sure, take as much as you want! I'm really busy anyway." Twilight coughed.
"Damn smoke..." and she walked out, I followed her out of the room and shut the door behind me. I peered out to see Lance playing with Spark, I chuckled to myself a little bit. I watched until Twilight popped up right in front of my face, making my jump back and hit my head against the door.
"Ouch!"
"Oh, sorry!" Twilight said. She hovered the books over to me.
"Now, I'm going to give you a little lesson on how to at least hold things. I want you to imagine yourself holding these books, without thinking about holding them with your hooves. Think of it as just imagining yourself holding it within thin air."
I looked at the pile of books. At least three of them, large ones at that. I focused hard on levitating the books, it took a little bit, but I eventually got it. Lance looked over to me and smiled.
"Hey, pretty good Dorchester!" Lance said, congratulating me.
"No no, call me..." I didn't really want to tell him my actual name, but I felt... like Chiro was guiding me. That's when I remembered, Lance took off his goggles, I saw his red snake like eyes. I jumped back a bit. Then I looked next to me and saw two faded like ponies. I saw two others stand next to Lance.
"Break... Dawn...?" I said curiously, Lance laughed and nodded. He pointed his hoof over to mine.
"Seems like Greg did the same to you."
"Ha, yeah. I guess it takes a bit to get 'em to form." I looked at the one to my right, he had Lance's eyes, but my body. But his eyes were black... his pupil was red. A thin, red slit.
"Corruption..." I whispered. The pony nodded and grinned at me. I looked over to my left and saw Chiro. Oddly enough, it was a mare... she looked like... Luna! But was cyan and had sky blue eyes, yet no wings... or horn.
"Chiro..." I whispered, she smiled and nodded, I looked at Lance.
"Oh yeah, the name is Ryan."
"Cool, I like it." Lance looked back at Spark who was know slowly approaching me. I felt Corruption's burning eyes sink into me. I felt myself stiffen, Lance took notice and dived after Spark, pushing him out of the way.
"Dorchester! Take control!" Lance yelled at me. I was still looking where Spark was before Lance pushed him out of the way. I felt Corruption's glare continue to dig down deeper and deeper. Chiro walked forward and whispered into my ear... she had Luna's voice.
"She still cares for you."
I began to feel calmer. I looked at Corruption and gave him a nasty look... so that's how it worked.
"I guess I was under... peer pressure."
"It's fine to be jelous... Luna told us all about it." Lance said, Twilight looked like she just remembered something, she wrapped her hooves around my neck.
"I know what she did to you was wrong and terrible, but she knows better now." Twilight whispered into my ear. I slowly nodded and pushed back away, still levitating the books.
"Thanks... I just need some time to get used to these two." I smiled and walked out of the door. I took a deep breath of fresh air and began towards my house. I closed the door behind me, and looked at the books. "Guides To Magic, A Complete Series" I jumped on my bed and began to read the first book. I stayed in my house, on my bed, reading these books, for the entire day. It wasn't until late the next night did I finish the books, and master a few of the skills like teleportation, even if it was just a few yards, even more rare a mile or two. But I was happy. I guess I should talk to Chiro and Corruption.
"So... you're Chiro," I said, pointing my hoof to Chiro. She nodded.
"Yes, I am Chiro. Your peace of mind."
"And you're..." I gulped... afraid to hear his voice once again...
"Corruption." He finished my sentence for me. He sounded... different. He had lost his scratchy voice, but now kept a low, deep rumble. Like thunder.
"We represent your two personalities..." Chiro said.
"We will guide you, if you take revenge." Corruption growled, grinning at me.
"Or if you forgive Luna," Chiro said, still smiling at me.
"Yet keep in mind." Chiro started.
"If you choose one of us, the other will try to interfere. Like it always has been, and will be." Corruption said. He barley moved his lips when talking, but I knew they where moving. He had such a low voice... I wonder how wide he had to make his throat.
"Very wide, to be precise." Corruption said, roaring with laughter seconds after.
"I... I don't know which path to take." I said, looking down.
"Whichever one you take." Chiro calmly stated.
"Whichever path you choose." Corruption growled.
"We will always follow you." They both said, and vanished.
"We travel inside, and outside your mind. But now, we must rest. As our birth was only a short day ago, and it takes great power to show up, for such a troubled soul as yourself." Corruption rumbled. That was the last time I heard them for a long time...
