Chapter 3: Thanks

I have been working for the apple family for around 2 weeks and it's not as exhausting as I thought, and can actually be a lot of fun! I also got to know them a little better.

At first, me and Big Macintosh planted some seeds, and watered them, and I tried to talk a little to him, but he isn't really the pony for Smalltalk, just like in the series, 90% of his replies involve the words "Eeyup" or "nope" – But that isn't a problem, since he is ok, and showed me how everything is done here.

Granny Smith is ok as well, even though I haven't had the opportunity to talk to her a lot, since she had a lot of naps in between work and we didn't really do much work together.

Applebloom is very energetic, just like the show describes her, but I didn't talk to her a lot as well, since she always tries to get her cutie mark with the cutie mark crusaders.

I found myself speaking to Applejack almost all the time, and I really got closer to her, hell I never thought I'd get so close to a pony. I really like her, for just being herself, an honest, nice, confident and beautiful pony. If you would've told me two weeks before, I would've called you crazy.

About my memories, I didn't really have something new, even though I got a potion of memories, made by Zecora and brought to me by Twilight. She went to the barn and found me while I was working, greeted me and simply said "Drink up, it could help you. If it doesn't, don't worry. Its side effects won't kill you."

That totally motivated me into drinking the green, thick…Whatever completely after looking a little worried to twilight. "Sounds…Safe. Well, all or nothing." I replied.

Everything it did was making me almost spit it out again, because it certainly tasted very sour, and I'm not a fan of sour food or drinks.

Twilight just said that I shouldn't worry, took the glass bottle back, and looked at me with a disappointed face. I excused myself, but all I got was a "It's fine, it was worth a try wasn't it?"

"I guess so." Was all I said. "Well, I still have to study a little, so see you later, Honey sap!"

She bid me goodbye, and I simply waved to her.

Yesterday I went to a hill with some stuff and came back like half an hour later since we had no work to do today, it was ok. Even though I got asked where I went, I just replied I prepared something, not knowing that Applejack had something planned for me; she wanted to introduce me to her friends, the Mane 6. Oh my gosh oh my gosh oh my gosh, I get to know ALL of them! Awesome! I had to calm down, so I don't say something stupid that I could regret sometime.

She brought me to Twilight Sparkles house. On the way there I had to hold back myself so I don't ask something I can't normally know like how the Sonic Rainboom looked like. After a while we got there and they all stood in front of it.

Since I already knew Twilight and Applejack, I got introduced to Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Pinkie pie, Rarity and even Spike. Damn, this was an awesome moment for me.

"H-hello. I'm Fluttershy." Fluttershy said softly. "Hello there, Applejack has told us everything about you, your name was Honey sapple right Mind if I introduce myself next? My name is Rarity" She said, with a noble voice.

"Y-yes I am Honey sapple." I replied, a little overcome by bronyism.

"Hi there, so you're the one that lost memory? Well then, I'm Rainbow Dash." The brightly colored pony told me.

"Well, I'm Spike, nice to meet you!"

Afterwards, Pinkie Pie had an Idea and wanted to share it with us:

"Hey, Honey sapple, I'm Pinkie Pie! Ooh, you have almost as long hair as I have! That looks funny!

How about we throw a party to welcome you here?"

If the parties are as good as in the show, I would be the last one to deny the invitation, but…They don't know me and are so kind to me. I can't expect them to be that nice just for no reason why, can I?

"Sounds great, but do you really want to make such a huge fuzz, only because of me? I mean, you don't know me a lot and so don't I know–"

I got disrupted by Pinkie Pie

"Ooh, I know this will be a "We don't know you much but we will afterwards" party!"

Well, I can't argue with that pony when it comes down to parties I guess.

"Alright, if you insist on it, count me in!

"Great! I'll prepare everything as soon as I get to go home!" Pinkie yelled with her squeaky voice.

"Yeehaw, this will be a blast!"

Applejack neighed motivated, while looking at me, with a smile on her ace.

"Ok, tomorrow, 3 o' clock afternoon!"

Pinkie screamed

"Alright, we'll be there everypony!" Applejack replied. "See you there guys!"

We then went home. The sun was already going down, as Applejack was looking at me.

"Is something wrong?" I asked.

"Do you think you will remember someday, what happened to you?"

Applejack replied to me, looking like she already knew the answer.

"I don't really know."

"Do you think, it was somepony that did this on purpose?"

"I…Don't really know."

"Do you think you will find your home, your family and your friends?"

I actually didn't know that either, but I just had to express my thankfulness to everypony of the barn, especially to Applejack.

"Your Home is where you are welcome, and you have somepony that cares for you, so… I guess I do have a home already."

Applejack blushed, as she just silently smiled to me.

We went home, and stood in front of the barn. "Applejack, could you do me a favor? Please don't ask anything and just follow me." She looked kind of curious, what I meant with that, but she came with me even though she asked me where we are going about ten times.

The moon was rising and the sun was gone, the weather was fine, not very cold and not too hot; it got accompanied by a gentle breeze as we were wandering. We went a little bit out of the city, to a hill, which covered the sight of the whole town.

As we reached the top, there was a picnic blanket, a basket full with food and some juice underneath a big, lonely Apple tree. I made this just before we went away to visit the Mane 6, without her knowing about it.

"With what did I do to deserve this?" Applejack asked a little confused, but touched

"Well…Where should I start? You saved my life; you picked me up, even though you didn't even know me, and you are my closest friend at the moment. I never really thanked you enough, so…Thanks!"

Applejack blushed again a little bit, and then said with her eyes closed:

"Well…Like I said back in the hospital: It's what everypony would've done."

"You've been so nice to me all the time, so let me make it up to you with this picnic, while the moon shines ok?"

Applejack nodded, smiled and sat down.

"Want some Apple juice to your Sandwich?" I asked, as I pulled out some juice in a bottle and some sandwiches

"Sure, thanks!"

She smiled and replied, as I poured some Juice in her glass, and she repeated herself:

"I still don't know how to make up for this"

"Stop saying such things, you deserve this for so many reasons, you're such an amazing pony, kind hearted, helpful and responsible. I don't know anypony who would've deserved this more than you!" I told her while looking into her beautiful eyes. Ehm…Did I just say all that?

"Wow, I don't know what to say…"

Applejack seemed kind of stunned by my words, I know I overdid it, but all of what I said was just my honest emotions for her, gathered in one sentence.

"You don't have to say anything, just enjoy the cool breeze and the moonlight while eating up."

She looked at me for a second, as she still looked unsure what to say, so she just nodded again. Then she ate up, just as I did then. After that, I packed everything together with her.

On the way back, Applejack tried to thank me like a hundred times, but I always said, that I am the one who has to be thankful.

Afterwards we went home; it was almost midnight as we arrived.

"We should sleep now; you don't want to be tired, when we have your party, do you?" I got questioned by Applejack

"Of course not, you're right, as always. Good night, Applejack." I answered, with a smile on my face.

"Good night, Honey sap. And thanks again." She replied.

Is all this really happening? I still don't really know, nor do I want to be anywhere but here.
