It's been one year since the humans have defeated the titans with the help of the Mane 6 and Spike from Equestria. Life is finally returning to normal as the human race begins to repopulate and rebuild. Equestria's leader, Princess Celestia, as a token of gratitude to the men and women who kept her little ponies safe, invites Eren Jaeger, Mikasa Ackerman, Armin Arlert, and several of their friends to visit Equestria and reunite with their Equestrian friends.
However, two enemies, one old and one new, bitter over their own personal defeats, band together to take over Equestria, beginning with the theft of a tome called Antithology, a prison for a number of evils sealed within its pages long ago. Using a powerful dark spell, the two free the evils from their prison to wreak havoc once again.
As a result, Canterlot is seized and the residents of Canterlot, including the princesses, Twilight and her friends, and Eren and his friends, barely manage to evacuate and escape. With their options and time running out, Eren, Twilight, and all of their friends band together once again to free Canterlot and Equestria from the clutches of tyranny and darkness.
