AUTHOR'S NOTE: This story has been cancelled because I wasn't happy with how things were going. The largest problem came from trying to jam what should have been two books of material into one. So, for the time being at least, the original Summer Lands will remain on my user page, at least until I eventually get around to writing the two stories to conclude Hurricane's tale, as it should have been from the start. Do not consider any material contained within to be canon to the Price of Loyalty universe.
By writing these words, we hope that we can honor the spirit of our father, and remember him in the way that he truly was, not in the way that Celeste and Lūn wish for him to be. Long after we die and the world moves on, what really happened will have been forgotten to time, but as long as this last piece of evidence remains, then the truth can still be separated from history’s truth.
May our father, Commander Hurricane, rest in peace, knowing that we remember him and, through us, others may as well.
Ante Legionem nihil erat, et nihil erit post Legionem.
Commander Typhoon and Commander Cyclone.
After the founding of Equestria, Commander Hurricane, Queen Platinum, and Chancellor Puddinghead laid down the framework for the fledgling nation and migrated their respective ponies to new lands to escape the eternal blizzard. But the problems and tensions didn't end there; no, in just a few short years, Equestria faces race riots, mysterious assassinations, and the looming threat of a civil war. With no end in sight and the paradise he had worked so hard to attain splitting apart at the seams, Commander Hurricane desperately searches for some way to save it. What he found was nothing short of divine.

The pegasi that founded Equestria have a dark past, a past Commander Hurricane played a key role in.
With the onset of the windigo curse, Commander Hurricane and the other tribal leaders leave in search of new lands. They aren't the only ones to face challenges, as the tribes inch closer and closer to ripping each other apart with each day.
The problems between the three tribes didn't end with the founding of Equestria. As the nation faces race riots, assassinations, and the threat of a civil war, it will take everything Commander Hurricane has just to see it survive the years.
