A day had past, and the battle left the guards busy with cleaning up the bodies before anypony set hoof outside.

Princess Celestia had some difficulty trying to calm the girls minds at the thought of them knowing that dead flooded the street. She knew that they weren't going sleep so easy last night, the invasion alone would be enough to keep a tired soul awake and wondering what could of been. Celestia had scavenged the battlefield for the human's weapons. She had been observing the once green blood drenched blades, she had cleaned them with her magic, not wanting have to see it anymore. Luna was in her sisters room as well, inspecting the cadets dog tags and was intrigued with each oval shaped metals design.

"What do think some of these mean Tia?"

"I do not know Lulu, but these weapons the human wielded are so simple, yet he had managed to slay so many with them!"

Celestia had watched the battle with Luna from her palace balcony, she had made the girls wait in the royal dinning area, and told them she would come get them when it was over. They both know full well of what the young cadet was capable of.

"Quite skillful was he not?"

"Quite sister."

"I suspect he will not be pleased about missing his blades."

"I will return them when he awakens. I have also searched what appears to be his baggage, and have found what appears to be...school supplies?"

"Tia did you not say that the humans can grow as tall if not taller than us?"

"I did indeed Lulu."

"I fear that the warrior you and Twilight have summoned is but a child."

"As do I sister, and I think we have a name to our little champion."

"How so Tia, we had not asked him when we first met."

"We will know soon enough."

The girls and had slept a few rooms away from the human. They had awoken at early sunrise, and went to check on him. It had been awhile, maybe a half-hour. The girls had been chatting quietly with each other to pass the time, most of it was about the human in the bed. About how he looked, how he was the only one of his kind they have ever seen.

"It looks so peaceful when it sleeps." Fluttershy stated.

"Well judging from the sound of ITS voice from yesterday, I'd say ITS a he." Twilight added in a hushed voice.

"Well he does have an odd fashion of clothing darling."

"That's what yer concerned bout right now rarity?"

"You think we should take its knives away?" Rainbow Dash asked in concern for every ponies safety.

"That's not nice to take someponies things without asking Dashie!"

"Well sorry if I don't like it when there's a guy we barley know carrying a weapons to kill!"

"Well he fought that big bully Chrysalis with the guards!"

Pinkie's and Rainbow's little outburst made the human turn in his sleep.

"Pinkie pie and Rainbow Dash be quite, you don't want to make him angry! Um if you don't mind." Fluttershy said in her hushed soft voice.

"Sorry!" They say and wince in unison after realizing they had been shouting.

"Wait girls, I think he is waking up!" Twilight points at the human's face.

I had the same thing happen when I slept, nothing. I was awoken by sudden loud noises that I swore were voices. I never really have any dreams, but when I do, there ether completely random, or about the human mating  on it and see how many units of insulin I had.But I couldn't find the damn thing.

"Oh shit did I forget to put it back on after my shower!" I thought out loud as I sprog up to a sitting position.

Because if it wasn't on at all times other when I exercise or when in water, I could get really high blood sugar.

When I had given up on my frantic search of my pockets, I noticed I had two of my blades on by person.

Then the events of yesterday started to slowly come back to me.

Seeing the back of my right hand, I see the one and only Rainbow Dash cutie mark insignia imprinted on it.

"What the fffff....

Looking ahead, I saw the main six from the greatest show ever! At first site of them standing there, I was stunned. A few more moments of looking awkwardly wide eyed at each other I was first to speak up.

......Did I die and go to heaven, because unless my eyes deceive me, I'm surrounded by angels."

The girls blush and giggle with sheepish grins and folded ears at my remark.

"Oh such a charmer darling."

Observing my surroundings, I see I'm in what looks to be like one of those big guest rooms I've seen from seeing the show.

"I'm guessing you girls wouldn't have seen my insulin pump would you?"

"Yer what now partner?"

"That thing I removed from my body before I..."

My eyes went wide again remembering what should have happened.

"Before you should have died?" Twilight questioned.

"Yeah...that."

"Oh you poor thing!" Fluttershy quickly hovered up to me in, sympathy in her eyes.

"How am I still alive?"

"It mite have something to do with Rainbow Dash's and your element coming together?" Twilight stated.

"My element!?"

"Wait you do have an element...right."

"Well...not that I'm aware of."

"Maybe princess Celestia can answer that for you when she comes to check up un you."

Just as she mentioned her name guess who had just dropped by. On queue princess Celestia had walked through the door and was happy to see me awake.

"Ah human, back from the dead are we!" Celestia remarks. That actually got a laugh out of me at how literal her statement was true.

"Ha ha, oh you have know idea how close you are to the truth." I reply with humor. At my reply her smile turned to a frown.

"Oh my, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to..."

"Hey no worry's, its not the first time I've nearly died anyways."

This got me a few stares in concern from everypony in the room.

"Exactly how many times have you nearly died?" Twilight questioned not sure of how to feel.

"Well there was when I was first diagnosed with type 1 diabetes, and then there's now." I reply.

"What exactly does your...condition effect." Celestia questions.

Thinking about how to reply after few moments, I come up with an answer.

"Type 1 diabetes is a autoimmune disease. It means that a function in your pancreas, which is an organ in the body, has failed and must be controlled manually. My insulin pump was that little device I removed from my back left pocket, the little bump that was on my lower left stomach was what allowed the insulin into my body from the pump and through the tube, its what keeps me alive and allows me to eat. Insulin also breaks down sugar so that's a downer when it come to the consumption of sweets. Basically a vital part of my body has failed and the basic needs to live can now kill me without that little piece of technology. It also took my self-esteem for a while, dream job, physical stature, ability to properly heal and endurance during long periods of physical activity."

The room was silent except for the sniffs and tears growing in the girls eyes.

"Aww don't cry girls." I didn't want to darken their day after what happened when I was last conscious.

"But that's such a horrible way to have to live!" Twilight starts.

"I don't think I could bare to live with a condition that could of kept me from joining the Wonderbolts!"

"No cupcakes!"

"Oh darling that terrible!"

"I don't think I could manage ma farm without ma physical form or endurance partner!"

"You poor Child!" Celestia finishes their condolences.

The girls froze at the mention of my age status.

"Wait what?" The main six were even more wide eyed at me now.

"Well yeah I'm a kid, I'm sixteen, why how old are you girls?"

"Roughly around the same age!" They shout in unison.

"Really! That's something, how about you princess?" I ask.

"Six thousand years."

"And your still looking good to!"

I had now gotten Celestia to give a slight blush and giggle at my compliments.

"Oh a mares stallion (ladies man) hm?" Celestia teases.

"Well yawl are pretty cute, not flirting just saying." I reply with a smile.

The girls giggled some more and Celestia levitated my bag into site.

"I believe this belongs to you."

"Oh thanks, forgot all about this thing."

I take my bag from her magical grasp and look inside only to find school supplies.

"Well I won't have much use for these anymore."

I also find my black shades in the inside of the bottom compartment.So I put them on the front of my fore-head for later use.

"Pardon me darling but why are your cloths patterned with squares?" Rarity Questions.

"Its camouflage." I reply simply.

"Camouflage! Doesn't look like it would blend well." Rainbow Dash protested.

"Your right, I don't know who's the genius whom came up with It, but its what the Army uses."

"Like where?"

"Everywhere, unless their special ops."

"Ok I can see that being true, what about those symbols on you uniform mean?"

"The top patch on my right shoulder is the flag of my nation, flipped backwards for being mobile I think. The second one stands for my rank, Staff Sargent. The one on the upper right to it is my last name, so if someone doesn't know me or can't remember my name, there it is. The one strait across to the left of my last name is the Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps acronym.  Then the last one on my left shoulder would be the unit I served in. But I'm not enlisted so I went with one that said support the troops!"

"Wow you just made that uniform seem 20% cooler!"

I chuckle a little at her complement and trade mark quote. That I'm sure she hasn't even said sense season 1.

"Thanks cutie." I reply flashing her a smile.

Her ears fold again and the blush returns to her face, while the girls giggle yet again at my comments. Then Celestia spoke up.

"Well then, let us continue this conversation to breakfast in the royal dinning hall. I'm sure you are hungering after such a long rest."

"How long was I out?"

"You drifted into your deep slumber early morning yester day, It is early morning the next day now."

"Well before that I need my insulin pump, do you have it? Its a amazing I've survived this long without it."

"Do you mean this small rectangle, with a see through hollow string coming from its lower left side?"

Celestia levitates my pump out of a side compartment from my bag and floats it to me.

"Wow, how did I not see that! Yeah thanks."

I look at the top right of the screen to find it has a full battery. "Huh?"  Then I look over to the top left of the screen to see the reservoir is completely empty. "Crap!"

"What's wrong!" Fluttershy asks nervously.

"Pumps empty!"

"You may not need it anymore human."

"What?"

"When you had lost consciousness after the battle, our friend Rainbow Dash had a strange occurrence happen."

"What do you mean?"

"Some how she had a field of magical energy only seen when the elements of harmony are being used, surround your body and you began to glow. This lasted only a few moments and once it had stopped, your breathing had steadied and shivering ceased. Giving what you told us about your little condition, I have reason to believe that you may have been cured by some unknown power by the element of loyalty."

My heart stopped at the word -cured-.

"What?" The disbelief clear  in my face.

"It is the only logical conclusion I can make, given what you have told us." Celestia says with a warm motherly smile.

My mind raced with thoughts. Cured of the vary thing that took every thing I have strived for!

To be a soldier! A U.S Navy SEAL or Ranger! I can get back into fit shape without worry of low blood sugar killing me in the process! Or have the insulin's weight gain side effect burden me along with it! My normal life restored because of no disability hindering me! But then I remembered were I was, and that there is probably no way to return home. But were I was right now, I was still happy, I'll get over it eventually.

"Human are you alright?" Celestia asks worried.

I had been so deep in thought I drowned out my surroundings . Coming back to my sense's, I slowly turned my head toward Rainbow Dash who had been also eyeing me with worry.

"Hey guy, you alright?"

I slowly walk over to her, not breaking eye contact. There I was, looking my favorite pony in her big cute eyes, Rainbow Dash, the pony who gave me everything back! Her height was up to my lower chest, maybe 4,6 to 8. same as the rest of the girls. When close enough so that I'm standing right over her. I slowly drop to my knees, feeling the waterworks coming to my eyes, I pull her into a tight embrace and bury my head into her left shoulder.

"T-thank you, thank you! Words...cannot...describe what you have done for me!"

My outburst of tears probably caught them and her off guard. But I'm sure they understood my happiness with the news!

"You've given everything I lost...physically...and mentally...I sorry to act like this...I'm just...."

She returned the hug after, quieting me while I tried to make complete sentences, she started to comfort me.

"Hey its fine, I understand." She coos softly in my right ear.

Then everypony else joined in and embraced me in a group hug. Even the princess wrapped her large wings around us.

"There there, your just a big teady-bear aren't you." Fluttershy whispers in my left ear.

I chuckle at her motherly tone. "You really know how to make a guy feel like he's four again."

Then it was my turn to blush. Rainbow Dash gave me a little nuzzle on the cheek. I sheepishly smile and wipe my eyes to clear them of tears.

"Come on Rolon, lets get you something to eat."

"Like I said its my last name, my first name is Gage, but you can call me my old nickname Eagle if you want."

"Well then Eagle, My name is Twilight Sparkle."

"I'm Rainbow Dash, the fastest and most awesome flier in all of Equestria!"

"I'm Applejack partner."

"I'm Rarity, A pleasure to meet your acquaintance darling."

"I'm Fluttershy."

"Hi I'm Pinkie Pie!"

"Nice to meet you all ladies!" I sniff out once more.

"Vary well then, Eagle. Celestia spoke up after we had exchanged greetings and names. "Come then we will speak more along the way."

I zip my Marpat Woodland bag shut and put it on, clicking the clips together and walk past the girls to grab and hold the door open for them. "Ladies first!" I say with a smile, gesturing for them to exit before me. "Why, thank you kind sir!" Rarity says as she exits first. When they all leave I follow close behind them, shutting the door silently. A big smile of my own now adorning my face.
