Chocolates and Flowers
Chapter 2: Chapter 2: Evenings Start
Previous Chapter Next ChapterThe afternoon wore on, and the two mares were happily napping in the shade, together. Nothing could make right then and there a horrible thing. They were happy just lying there. But Trixie awoke; she remembered that she had a reservation for Dinner at one of Canterlots finest restaurants. ‘Twilight, honey, you need to wake up.’ The blue mare said to her sleeping companion. She started to stir, and within a minute was awake.
‘Hmmmm, what time is it?’ Twilight asked.
‘It’s quarter to 6.’ She said. Twilight snapped awake.
‘Oh no! I’m going to miss the train! I’m sorry Trix, but I need to go!’ She said, frantically.
‘Oh no you don’t!’ She lunged at Twilight, pinning her to the ground. She lay atop Twilight.
‘This isn’t the time for horseplay Trixie! I need to get back, or else Spike and Rarity will worry!’ she said.
‘What? Rarity? Why would she worry?’ Trixie asked, with an eyebrow raised waiting to hear what the reasoning behind this revelation was was.
‘Well, she has moved in with me, but only until her Boutique is renovated. I should have told you earlier.’ Twilight said. ‘Apology smooch?’ Twilight said, but before she could do anything Trixie had started kissing her. Twilight had never ever been kissed by any pony other than her mother and father. And she felt that Trixie’s kisses were like angels slowly rejuvenating her energy with their divine power. After a minute or so Trixie rolled off of Twilight. ‘I need to go now, honey. But I promise we will get together again soon.’ Twilight said.
‘I know, because you are coming with me to dinner tonight. I made reservations at “The Equines den”, I made them a few weeks ago. I’d hate to have to go alone.’ Trixie saying this made Twilight feel like Ponyville could wait a night.
What’s the worst that could happen? Twilight thought. ‘Okay, but it has to be quick, so I can catch the train home.’ She said.
‘No it doesn’t, you can stay in my house. But,’ she let out a sigh ‘I only have one bed. So, you will either have to sleep in my bed, with me, or on the couch.’ Trixie said, teasingly.
‘Such a hard choice.’ Twilight replied with a sarcastic tone in her voice.
‘Great! Then it’s settled! You can come to my house, and change into the dress I bought you!’ Trixie said to Twilight.
They then walked towards Trixies home.

The two lovers entered the house. What greeted them was nothing short of stunning. The walls were painted a glorious red, and the carpets were White. In the far left corner, near a hallway, was a wine cupboard, filled with many assorted wines and glasses. There was also a small dining area. It was quite a large room, filled with many books. There was also a record player, which was below a picture of Trixie with a Light brown pony and a unicorn that wore odd glasses. They were all smiling. The walls of the living room were lined with many pictures, most importantly a whole wall dedicated to Twilight. A massive photo was hung upon the wall, which was a photo of Twilight with Trixie. ‘Do you like it?’ Trixie asked Twilight.
‘Well, yeah I do. Especially that Giant poster of us.’ She said to Trixie.
‘That’s my favourite picture in the whole room. Our reservation isn’t until 8:30. Would you like to, do something until then? Like a board game or something?’ Trixie asked. Twilight knew exactly what she wanted to do, and it wasn’t a board game.
‘Well, how about you show me the rest of this big home! I’d love to see the bedroom.’ Twilight replied. Trixie caught on straight away, knowing what she meant.
‘Follow me.’ She said, as the two trotted down the hall, Twilight began to fantasize about the Bedroom. Too Twilights surprise, it was as baron as the dessert. All that was in there was a wardrobe, a picture of Trixie and a Make-up table.
‘I am sorry Twilight. I haven’t moved in all my stuff yet, a lot of it is still at my old home at Trottingham.’ Trixie said. She wanted to Impress Twilight, make her feel as if she was the only thing that mattered to her.
‘Trixie, it’s okay. I know how hard it’s been for you moving in. It’s okay.’ She said to Trixie, comforting the one mare that she loved. ‘Thankyou Twilight, I’ll never find anypony like you. And even if I could, I wouldn’t want too. You’re the sparkle in my eye.’ She said. Twilight giggled at that. It was humorous and romantic. ‘I’ll be right back, make yourself comfortable.’ Said Trixie, who obviously had something special planned.
A few minutes later, she came in levitating a bottle of Fine red wine and two Wine glasses. It was called ‘Sparkling blue 1952’. Twilight knew this was an old wine, which meant it should taste good. ‘I hope you like wine.’ Trixie said.
‘Oh I do, it’s just, Im not very alcohol tolerant. I can’t hold my liquor, as they say.’ As Twilight finished she had already gotten a glass, which she was now levitating herself.
‘To our Relationship, may it forever be healthy and happy!’ Trixie said.
‘Yeah!’ Both took a drink, draining there Glasses in one quick gulp. After they finished their drink they both sat on the bed. They stared into each other’s eyes. They then began to hug.
‘I love you Twilight.’ Trixie said, with more confidence then she had said anything else in her entire life.
‘I love you as well.’ Twilight replied. They began to kiss more fiercely, when suddenly the door shut.
=========================================================================
After a while the two mares got up from the bed. In the space of two hours, they had finished the whole bottle of wine and had had a quick nap. Their dinner was in 10 minutes. They quickly got dressed and had tidied their manes and were ready to go. Twilight was dressed in a magnificent gown, one that Rarity herself had made. It was a dark blue and had a fashionable Pink star on it. It was obviously custom made, as the star resembled Twilights cutie mark. Trixies dress was a Blue colour, similar to her coat but a little darker. It also had a white star on it, with a dust like design behind it. They entered the restaurant which had a tiled floor. It had a pattern of Blue and Black, going in sort of a Chess board fashion.
‘Reservation For Miss Lulamoon.’ Trixie said politely to a Unicorn behind a counter. The Unicorn stallion began searching for results on a piece of parchment beyond the view of the couple.
‘Ah, Table for two. This way.’ The Stallion said. He took them to a table with two chairs on either side of it, and Candles in the middle. There was also two Wine glasses there. However, the two unicorns probably wouldn’t be partaking in any wine drinking. They looked at their menus for a moment, and swiftly decided that they would both have the Tomato Soup. Five minutes later, the waiter returned with two bowls filled with a delectable smelling Soup. They both ate their Entrée, saying little. They both didn’t like talking while eating. After the entrée came the Main course, they both ordered the same thing; Salad. The waiter then returned a few minutes later giving them their Main Course. After this, Trixie needed to use the bathroom, which gave Twilight the chance to look around a bit more. Upon further inspection, she noticed there were more than a few couples sitting at tables. There was at least 10 other couples, and even tables with families. Most of them Unicorns, but the occasional Pegasus or Earth pony.
‘I liked coming here as a filly. That’s why I choose here for our first real date.’ Trixie said, as she sat back down at the table. ‘My parents would always bring me here. We’d have our meals than they’d go dancing at a nearby club. They’d always take me home and tuck me in. That was always what happened. In the mornings they’d sleep in, even longer than I did. It was when I moved out that they decided to move far away. I never remember where, but they always write and that makes me happy. Nothing like opening your mail and getting a letter from your parents.’ She said. Twilight had never heard this story before, it reminded her of her own experiences as a foal. Twilight had decided that instead of just dinner and then sleeping, that they should go dancing. They had finished their dessert, Apple pie and Ice cream, and then left the Restaurant.
‘Let’s go dancing.’ Twilight told Trixie.
'Really?' the blue mare Replied. Twilight nodded her head. They then to the hottest night club in Canterlot; DJ Pon-3’s lair
