“Hello Equestria my name is Vinyl Scratch and you’re tuning in the hottest show of the summer, last time we saw Twilight Sparkle lose it causing an unlikely temporary alliance between all of the other houseguests who are all united in their attempts to be rid of the highly unstable unicorn, Fluttershy has put Twilight Sparkle and the party queen herself Pinkie Pie on the block and the only hope it would seem for Twilight’s game is to win tonight’s veto competition, so get yourselves comfortable for this episode of Big Brother”

The camera switches to the HOH bedroom where every contestant with the exception of Twilight Sparkle, Pinkie Pie, and the Cutie Mark Crusaders were all talking clearly in agreement on what they would do during the veto competition.

“So you’re saying that no matter who wins the veto they shouldn’t use it?” asked Spitfire “and you swear this isn’t just some kind of plot to eliminate one of us?”

“Well obviously” stated Soarin “did you not just see the way she reacted to being on the block, I’m surprised the show hasn’t stepped in and kicked her off after some of the stuff she’s pulled”

“I’m just worried that she might hurt some pony” said Lyra “she has been getting worse since the start of the show, or am I the only pony who’s noticed?”

“I just hope Pinkie Pie doesn’t hold this against me” sighed Fluttershy

“Don’t you worry your pretty little head about that” said Rarity “she’s your friend and I’m sure she’ll forgive you”

“But you’re not certain that she will” Fluttershy sighed again

“Fluttershy” said Rarity in a calming tone “would it help if I went and talked to Pinkie?”

“I guess so” said Fluttershy suddenly seeming much happier about her situation “I mean if you have the chance to”

“All right I’ll go talk to her” stated Rarity on her way toward the door followed by the other houseguests leaving Fluttershy alone with Soarin in the HOH room

“Oh Soarin” sighed Fluttershy “do you think I’m doing the right thing plotting against Twilight like this, I mean she is my friend after all”

“Fluttershy” said Soarin “that’s not a question I can answer for you, you have to decide for yourself whether or not you feel right doing this”

Fluttershy snuggled herself closer to Soarin, without words she had given him his answer.

The camera switched over to the outside area where Pinkie Pie was telling yet another story to the Cutie Mark Crusaders when Rarity walked out of the house to join them.

“Hi Rarity” chimed Pinkie Pie clearly happy to have another pony around to hear her story “whatcha doing out here?”

“Well” said Rarity “Fluttershy is afraid that you’ll be angry with her for putting you up on the block”

“That’s silly” said Pinkie Pie attempting to suppress a laugh “why would I be mad, I’m happy to be on the block because that means I get to play one of those fun games”

“Ok then” said Rarity slightly confused at Pinkies look on the competition “thank you for telling me maybe now Fluttershy will feel better”

“Oaky Doaky Loki” said Pinkie Pie

“All contestants” said Vinyl over the speakers “gather in the living room, It’s time for the veto competition”

All of the contestants filed into the living room taking their seats on the sofas on either side of the room with the exception of Twilight and Pinkie Pie who sat on the red nominee chairs at the back of the room.

Fluttershy knew exactly what to do and reached into the bag on the table in front of her pulling two name keys out.

“Spitfire” said Fluttershy “and Lyra you two will compete with us”

“You know the drill” stated Vinyl “you five head to the arena, the rest of you stay in here”

The five selected houseguests entered the arena to find it set up as a simple room with a green floor and light yellow walls, but a line of five tables and five baskets full of puzzle pieces stood in the center of the room.

“This challenge is a race to complete your puzzle” said Vinyl “Not much more to it really, so uh go take your positions”

The five contestants each took their places in front of a table.

“Ok” said Vinyl “three, two, one go!”

Twilight and Spitfire each took off in a flash while the other three contestants seemed to take their times with the puzzle and for good reason Twilight and Spitfire soon found themselves stumped as for where certain pieces fit in with the rest of their puzzle, seizing the opportunity Soarin sped his pace and finished his puzzle rather fast, but still somehow Pinkie Pie managed to finish her’s a full second before anypony else.

“And your winner is Pinkie Pie” said Vinyl “Fluttershy bestow upon her the power of veto”

Fluttershy took the necklace symbolizing the power of veto and placed it around the pink earth ponies neck.

“Good job Pinkie” said Fluttershy

“Yeah just great” said Twilight through gritted teeth teleporting herself out of the arena

The camera switches over to the studio and focused on Vinyl Scratch’s face.

“There you have it” stated the host of the show “Pinkie Pie has the power of veto, but now we must wait to see what she does with it, whether or not Twilight Sparkle will ever calm herself down, and what will happen when I announce that tomorrow is a double eviction episode, find out next time on Big Brother, Goodnight Equestria”

The episode ends with Fluttershy and Soarin heading up to the HOH bedroom followed by Rarity.
