Execration
Chapter 10: You Are (Not) Nothing
Previous Chapter Next ChapterAuthor's Notes:
Sorry...I actually owe this story a lot of attention too as well as the Meaning of Time. Just this story...really was my way out of depression only to sink back into it a long time ago. Glad I have others there to help me out...right?
‘Mercy can only be shed off to the wicked ones, not the blessed.’
The descent down the dreary stairs was more frightening than you would not expect them to be. Just making quiet footsteps and you can hear the chaos ensuring below, either from shouting maniacs or gunfire from the Black Coats. Terrae kept quiet, making careful glances back at you to make sure you were right behind him as he lead you towards possible freedom. A bit of you did not want to leave your only safe place, but you push aside those thoughts and focused on living. You were possibly in need of professional medical attention after your previous encounters with the goons Pinkamena had on you.
You only wished that there was some possible chance that everything that occurred today was actually a dream. Sadly, you weren’t granted a fresh wake-up call to see your wishes be crush so violently, that your hope was laden with gloom and despair. Once you two reached the ends of the steps, Terrae looked at two doors, ones you’ve never seen before. When you wanted to find out what floor you were on, he hushed you, pointing at the door to your right and motioned you to follow him towards the door on the left.
You remained silent, following him into the a new room full of janitor equipment, but also a few large machines that seemed to supply power to the foundation of this sinful place. He closed the door behind you and rested on his knees, motioning you to do the same. Once the two of you did, the lights went off and silence became a blanket over both your ears. But that blanket was torn off when you nearly jumped from the sound of an explosion. You saw specks of flashlights shining around in the darkness, casting an illumination on whatever was in its path.
Terrae peeked only once before ducking down once one ray of light passed by. Soon, the sounds of footsteps going up stairs were heard, along with orders that quietly died out from their ascension. While they were gone, Terrae and you exited the room quietly and saw through the destroyed door where they came from. The hallway was littered with gunned corpses as if the patients had nowhere else left to run to. It seemed like they had them crowded and enough ammunition to take them all down with ease before pushing on.
Terrae may have not shown it, but you could feel the sadness within him as he casted his brethren a look of gloom. They probably didn’t deserve it, perhaps they were trying to hide, but you had no time to give any more theories to yourself to deciding if these patients deserved death or not. Terrae thought the same, as he motioned you to continue following him through the hallway of the decay.
This place had a taste for long hallways, but at least provided good cover on the corners. When you two made it to the end, he opened a steel door before you and revealed a backdoor passage. You could now see Princess Luna’s glooming moon, standing behind its bravado that glittered fake light to allure poor fools like you into its deceiving arms. Nothing was warm or great to look at, not now after what happened. You hated the moon, the sun, the sky, and all of life; you hated the death of others you had once began caring for, the pain, the betrayal, and curse that had befallen upon you.
You only asked for another chance to live the next day, to see your world not fall apart, and to be away from the torment that society had pressed upon you to the ground. You were a murderer!
You are a murderer!
Those thoughts caused you to freeze in your tracks, making Terrae grow restless and annoyed. He was struggling to move you forward so you can escape, but only managed to pull you close to a trashcan near an air vent. You remained still, glaring at the moon with hatred, but thinking about those memories that flooded into you. You murdered the woman that treated you with love and watched the man that cared for you bleed out after trying to save you both. It was not that fake father’s fault. He adopted you and you fell into his dark trap. It was your fault.
You killed her.
You’re a murderer! YOU ARE A MUDERER!
Soon, your cheek burned as you felt a spike of pain course through your body. It stung, but it woke you back up into reality when you stared at Terrae. He slapped you to get you back together, to save you, and to ensure you live. He did not need to say it, but he needed you alive as much as you needed him. You were being helped, not tricked. A sudden reminder also passed by your head when you remembered the other patients giving their lives to protect you from Pinkamena’s followers and the Black Suits.
How could you ever forget that? Out of everything that you have been through, the pain you suffered, and the madness you were plunged further beyond imagination, how could you ever forget such a thing? These people, just them were here to help you and get you out. It was either because they too wanted to be free, to follow some prophecy, or out of the good part of their hearts, they wanted you to be free.
So you nodded your head to him, affirming that you were focus and not distracted anymore. Terrae nodded back before turning his attention forward. He began to slowly lead you out of this area, heading towards a massive side of the building where a metal door. That door had to lead you somewhere out of this place, though it would be sad for you to leave the outside for now and head back into the devil’s throat. All of that hate you had for the sky and moon quickly vanished.
The door was no opened and Terrae were now leading you through the long hallway that soon came to an end at some cafeteria. The cafeteria was massive, almost similar to the atrium but with pillars at some ends to support the foundation of the building. Terrae stopped and looked at a nailed in map of the building and pointed at one section of the building you both were in which was the Southeast wing.
The Southeast wing actually was closest to the second head chief of the building. No one knew much about the man, but that he was related to the one of the very founders of the facility and provided an enormous amount of funding to the facility. This part of the hallway was split into many directions with nailed arrows marked with room number locations and a few exits, however, the ones marked as exits were scratched with black markers as if bookmarks or warnings to alarm you that the way they are seeking had been block.
Terrae led you through the hall, taking a few turns and two, only to pause and motioned you to get against the wall so that you can blend in with the darkness. The sound of approaching footsteps gave you a big reason why he wanted you against the wall as he went into the pitch black. While the two of you were blended in the darkness, you noticed the red small orbs glowing and moving in the distance, heading down your path.
“Scepter-Seven, this is Unit-3, target has not been found yet. We are still looking; so far no hostiles interfered with the mission at the current moment. Is there any news on Doctor Marx?”
Doctor Marx?
“Roger that, heading over to apprehend Cinderella, Unit-3 out.” The commander of the group stated, before moving on ahead with his men. As you watch them go away, Terrae motion you to follow quietly.
A few minutes have passed since you two made your way through the dark hallway. When it came to an end, Terrae paused at a metal doorway and had an expression of horror. Slowly grabbing the handle and pulled it back. The both of you froze in terror once the door was opened wide for there; sitting down in the center of a candle lighted circle was the madman from the cell block area deep within Charon’s tunnels.
When he looked up at you both, his grin of terror appeared on his face, for the next thing that happened; you felt gravity break off from your contact as you were lifted off the ground and toss into a pile of metal chairs. You grunted, gritting your teeth in pain before staring ahead at Terrae struggling to break free of the Tall Man’s grip. A dark boot suddenly collides into the side of your face, knocking you out instantly with a dark cackling laugh belonging to the madman of the cell block.
“Wakey-wakey.” You heard those vile words coming off from the worse of the worse. As you began opening your eyes, you could feel those terrible orbs belonging to the hell spawn herself gazing at you in the pitch black. You were strapped by wrist to the ceiling while your ankles were tied down to bolted metal chairs on the ground. When the lights went on, you flinched from the sudden brightness that harmed your pupils. You have not seen such bright light like this in a long time and have been spending your time in the darkness for too long.
When your eyes started to grow use to the light, you finally gained sight to see that the room you were in was no other than a circular room with an electric chair to your right that Terrae was strapped to. Your eyes widened as you as started to panic, struggling to get free, but it was pointless, you were trapped like this and Pinkamena before you, naked and with a smile enjoyed the sight of your terror. She licked her lips slowly before spreading her legs, allowing you to see the wet folds of her sex that had some blood from her latest victims she probably murdered being naked.
“I have been filled by you, just wondering if you still wanted to see what you obtained…what you broke to make a whole within me, my mate.” She said.
Just hearing her voice made you wanted to vomit, but you had no time for that, you put your focus on Terrae remaining still and firm while he was strapped to that chair to another realm, that realm being death. Standing next to the levers were the Mad Warden and Tall Man each waiting for Pinkamena’s word to pull it down, indicating that this was an execution. You shook your head in terror not wanting one of the only people in your life to die like this. Terrae didn’t deserve this sort of death, it was too cruel and meant for criminals.
But then it hit you.
You were a criminal. Why didn’t you get strapped to that chair instead of Terrae? It hurt your head to think about it, but you had to know, something was not right. Why was Pinkamena doing this to you? Was it out of satisfaction for her sadistic needs? Was it to break you? Or was it to open your eyes to a truth you long hidden away from the world but sadly not society?
“Oh, my love…today’s a great day. You see, Terrae right here is sadly the final heretic amongst Abel’s group. He will surely burn in hell for all that’s worth.” Pinkamena said, wrapping her arms around your waist, pressing her breast against your back end. This mare was nuts, she spoke of things you did not understand and treated you like some sort of lover. She was sick, not for the fact she raped you, but for the fact she considered you her mate.
“Terrae, do you have any final words?” The Tall Man asked, gazing at the quiet man calmly.
Terrae remained silent, before his eyes moved towards you casting a gaze of sadness. You were feeling what he felt and understood why he stared at you so sadly. He failed to get you out of here alive. His failure not only cost his life, but put yours in danger. Now, instead of the Black Coats taking you down, you were in Pinkamena’s clutches.
“No final words, huh? Well that’s really sad.” Pinkamena said, before looking over at her two lackeys. “You know what to do, we must haste so hurry up.” She ordered calmly.
Terrae looked back at the windows, gazing at the empty chairs as if he was looking at somebody else beyond that frame. It struck you again when you realized that Terrae were not afraid to die. He was actually ready, with open arms from his soul to death’s touch. Shutting his eyes, you did too, already hearing Pinkamena giggle once the levers were pulled down and their rusty nails creaked. The light up above you began buzzing as the generator nearby started to rumble. You can hear Terrae groaning and moaning in pain, but not screaming at all. It was strange, but it was like the man refuse to scream either because he was mute or he denied giving the mad mare satisfaction.
You kept your eyes shut, tightly and sealed, while tears streamed down your face from the terrible event occurring before you. You were all criminals, but Terrae, no matter what crime, the kindness he shown and life of his he risked for you, he did not deserve this…
You did.
When everything suddenly went silent with a sudden shut down on the generator, Pinkamena’s giggle became a pure maniacal laughter.
“Death by electricity! How rich and classic! It may have its old elements, but it is rich and classic I will say! Good job boys! We must now head off to complete the ceremony, let’s not waste time now, we need to…shit.” Her sudden pause caused you to slowly open your eyes, only to be blinded by the blast of an explosion from the spectator side of the room that snapped you free from your wrist.
You landed on your back hard, groaning in pain before feeling your wrist again. When you looked around Pinkamena was gone along with the other three indicating that they left you behind in the room being infested by the smoke from destroyed section. The room was on fire and smoke was already clouding you in if you did not escape. Quickly out of pure panic you rushed to your ankles and unstrapped the leather bounds that confined you to the chair. You choked from the smoke, struggling up to your feet and limping towards the exit near the generator, but as soon as you got to the door, a gunshot was heard right behind you causing you to flinch and stumble to the ground terrified.
“We spotted the target!” A black coat yelled from the cloudy spectator room causing you to rush up from the ground and through the door using your elbow to bust through it. After almost stumbling to the ground, you started to run down the long stone lighted hallway until you took a right turn and froze in a mid-fright terror. The area was littered with corpses of scientists, each decapitated or impaled to the wall with steel bolts embedded in their chest, skulls, or hands to which their stomachs were disemboweled.
What the fuck happened here?
You had no time to wonder, you had to leave now. So you ran down the hallway, ignoring the blood splattering onto your clothes that reeked of long death and decay. This was just too much. When you spotted and exit you rushed towards it, only to come close to a door on your right that exploded forward, pushing you into another room. Your body flew through a window and as if in slow motion you can see fire coming straight at you as if in the form of a dog. You panicked and cover your face as the fire dog snap its jaws and bark.
Time play back to its normal rate as you flew down and landed on a bench, crying out in pain before groaning from the immense agony it applied upon you. They were destroying this place, one step at a time and you were important to obtain even if you were dead or alive. These Black Coats and Pinkamena’s group, they wanted you no matter what.
You struggled up on your feet before gazing around realizing that morning was close to hit at end. Though, the only ominous touch to this was that headache giving fog that smothered the surroundings around you. It was too hard to see, but at least there were some lamp poles with illuminating lights. When you turned to your left you noticed a gate and a passage leading into the forest. Your eyes widened as freedom was right there before you.
You began limping towards your freedom, walking down the mossy stone steps before going pass the fences that were covered in green fresh vines. When you grabbed the handle you, pushed the gates open, and the passage out of here was given. This was it, your chance out of here.
“You never learn, do you?” You froze before turning around quickly earning a baton to a face. Blood came out your mouth along with one of your teeth, as you began struggling to crawl away, only to cry out in pain when the baton struck your back. It was the Mad Warden.
“For so long I hated you! Now I am going to make you pay! Every ounce of me is going to enjoy this! ONE BIT YOU FUCK!” He yelled stomping your back. The Mad Warden soon picked you up by the shoulder and slammed you against the fence thrusting the baton into your stomach, knocking the air right out of you. “You fucking don’t understand you sack of shit…huh?” He questioned lifting your face up by pulling back your head, slamming the back of your skull against the fence. “YOU ARE NEVER FREE…” He cocked back his arm with the baton, “NEVER!” He swung smashing the hard stick into your face, destroying it and knocking you out in the process.
Darkness came back at you as you felt sore pain course through your body. When your eyes slowly open you were disorientated and too weak to move. Looking left and right the best you could, you realized that you were being dragged through the hallway while white candles were placed down from the sides of the walls with Sun symbols painted in blood. Soon you blacked out again.
It took a few minutes to awake to find out that you were still being dragged, but this time through the cell block floor. You looked left and right, and to your right a disturbing scene was being conducted in grotesque cruel matters.
“You fucking love it don’t you!? HUH? YOU FUCKING LOVE ME!” A prisoner yelled, thrusting his shaft into the headless corpse of an inmate while another inside was actually jacking off. The site made you feel sick before passing out from the excessive disorientation.
When you finally awoke, you gasped in terror finding yourself being pulled down a basketball court with hanging corpses of the employees. You looked from your waist to see the Mad Warden push through doors, dragging you into a swimming pool area near the deep section. The sound of someone diving into water was soon heard as water splashed on the side. The warden paused and looked at the emerging individual and chuckled lightly before looking at you with disgust.
“I caught him.” He stated aloud.
“Good, we finally can settle some ends once and for all.” Pinkamena’s vile voice was heard as you started to regain back your attention and thoughts.
As soon as she gotten to you, she was wet and naked, but also cleaned of blood that had stained her body from before. “Look at him, so fresh and well. I do think you hurt him a bit too much though; try to go easy on him next time if he acts up.” She said, looking at the Warden with an annoyed expression.
“Of course.” He said, nodding with a soft smile.
“Good, now that he is here, we can finally complete the,” she soon was interrupted from the abrupt explosion up above that caused some specks of dirt and dust to fall. “Those damn soldiers…it seems Robert does not wish to stop looking for him and getting rid of that other pest that’s been up and running.”
You started to struggle, only to find out that your wrists were bound again, but this time they were actually cuffed. The Warden turns to you and chuckles before pressing his boot against your face.
“You know, this fuck really pisses me off. I know you need him, but honestly, why can’t we just kill him, or let those assholes up there take him out? Or even better, introduce him as bait for the other patient in this fucked place?”
“We won’t have either of that.” The Tall Man stated, walking pass you and stopping in front of The Warden.
“Glad you can make it.” Pinkamena said with a soft smile at the Tall Man before gazing at you with a grin. “Now, let’s take care of this.” She said.
“Finally.” The Warden said, before raising his boot and stomping down on your face, knocking you back out.
‘The world around us is too fucked up in the head.’
