A True Nightmare Night
Chapter 2
Previous Chapter Next ChapterAt Canterlot, Luna was in her room preparing for the celebrations ahead. As Luna was testing her costume on, Celestia walked in.
"Are you going out tonight dear sister?" Celestia asked.
"Yes. I had a lot of fun last year, aside from the start. It took me awhile, but I decided I would go out and have some fun. Sometimes I don't like being cooped up here all the time."
"I understand." Celestia said with a smile. "What exactly are you dressing as?"
"I'm dressing as a creature of the night, a friend of the shadows, an accomplice of the darkness." Luna said baring her fake fangs.
Celestia stared at here, smiling.
"I'm a vampire." Luna said, spitting out her fangs.
"Oh that's what that is?" Celestia asked, giving a slight giggle.
"I spent the past two weeks making it." Luna looked at the ground, depressed. "Is it that bad?"
"It's not..." Celestia started.
Luna let out a sigh, looking at her mirror, tossing the fangs into the trash.
"No. I know it's bad." Luna said, spirits crushed. "I just wanted to get the full experience out of this night. I guess I was a fool to think that I could make my costume scary."
Celestia frowned. "You're wrong." Celestia said, putting her hoof on Lunas flank, smiling at her. "It's not bad. You just need to find a way to make it more convincing."
Luna returned Celestias smile.
"Thank you sister. I'll try my hardest." Luna said. "I think I'll go to the royal library and see if there any books that can help me."
"You do that." Celestia said, nodding in agreement. "I'll be in my chamber. Will you allow me to see your costume upon its completion?"
"Yes I will." Luna said, getting up.
Celestia left Lunas chamber. Luna took off her costume and put it on her bedside table. She then left her room to go to the library to see what she could dig up. When she arrived she realized that she has never been in here so she did not knkow where to begin. But she knows who does. Next Chapter: Chapter 3 Estimated time remaining: 5 Minutes
