Red Velvet's Bio

Red Velvet came from a family of Canterlot unicorns who design and create textiles for the use of designers. Velvet never really had the drive to design fabric or run the entire business. He discovered his talent at creating structures and objects when he was tasked with repairing part of his home's roof. Instead of just covering the hole with wood, he took out the whole roof and redesigned it in a whole new style that not only looked better, but was more structurally sound. [NOTE: That's when he got his Cutie Mark] From there, he came up with various plans to reconstruct buildings in a more aesthetically pleasing and safer style. Canterlot did not have the space he required to test these designs, and so he took an extended trip to Ponyville to practice his work. By the time he finished his plans, he found that he preferred the atmosphere and company of Ponyville over Canterlot. Red Velvet settled in his custom home, and now gets himself involved in any construction around him.
