Chapter 6: Letter to Princesses Celestia and Luna

Previous Chapter
Letter to Princesses Celestia and Luna

Dear Princess Celestia and Princess Luna,

It's been two months ever since I arrived in Equestria. During this time, I've spent a lot of time with my friends.

We've had plenty of great times together, and a couple of bad ones, but its all water under the bridge now.

I even introduced them to some of my world's technology.

Twilight was very interested in holographic chess (hard to explain, I'll send a set to you if you want). Pinkie's favorite thing was a plasma ball (it's a pink, transparent, invulnerable ball with yellow electricity inside of it). Fluttershy liked playing with the robot animals quite a bit. Applejack was pretty happy about a piece of automatic farming equipment that drove around planting and watering seeds by itself. Rainbow Dash was racing a Jetbot (a flying machine specifically designed to race small flyers like Dash) for almost five hours straight until she could finally beat it in a race.

They were all pretty upset when I took the things back. I tried to tell them that they're not from Equestria; they'll raise eyebrows if anyone saw them.

What was the most memorable was Rainbow Dash losing her temper and kicked the Jetbot, which did a flip and flew straight back at her, ramming itself into her forehead.

It was funny to me at the time.

A few days later I was talking to Twilight about myself. I somehow brought up how I never knew what I was supposed to be. We talked for some time about it. I explained that I never understood the purpose of having my powers, and she started helping me figure it out.

We read plenty of books for days (Spike helped), trying to find anything close to me.

After giving up on the non-fiction category, we went into the fiction category for about a week. Twilight soon read a book called "The Four Guardians", and believe it or not, the guardians in the book were pretty close to my abilities.

She quickly concluded that I'm supposed to be a guardian,. At first I wasn't too sure, but now it seems to make sense.

A lot of my abilities seem to make sense if I were to be a guardian.

Because of the fact that I have no idea of who I am, I shall (try out to) be the guardian of the Elements of Harmony. I will protect my friends from harm's way to my very limit.

If you ever worry about the Twilight and her friends, remember that they still have The Immortal as their guardian.

Yours Truly,

Christian Gordon

P.S., Burn the letter. It has too much information.
