Discorded Feeling
Chapter 2
Previous ChapterDiscord's eyes widened. The room certainly was diffrent than any other room in the castle. He didn't know it, but he was in Luna's gaming room.
All her gaming things were haphazardly thrown around the room as if someone had been in here earlier.
The room was a little bit dark, darker than any of the rooms Discord had seen thus far, he noted. The room itself wasn't decorated too fancily, just posters of games and people here and there. Discord had never seen anything like this, he didn't quite know what to make of it so he wandered around the room picking up random things that caught his eye and studied them curiously.
Discord was in there longer than he expected. The objects in that room were more curious every time he came across a new thing, the poor guy's brain was going at top speed his gears turning in his head wondering what in Celestia's name these 'things' were.
He stopped looking and shuddered, this room was very complex and he'd have to ask about it later. He couldn't figure it out himself. He walked out of the room, closing the door carefully he didn't want any pony to find out he was in there.
Discord walked back down the winding staircase, the bathroom forgotten now. He asked the guard at the bottom of the stairs where the Princess was and the guard led him to both the Princesses in the Dinning Hall.

"Sister, are thou sure Discord is coming? He's rather late." Luna pointed out for the third time to Celestia's dismay, she was not a very patient Princess and Celestia was getting annoyed.
"Yes, Luna. Dear I'm sure he's coming soon, please for the love of Harmony stop asking me that!" She snapped at her sister, who looked shocked.
"I'm sorry Luna. It's been a very long day and I shouldn't have snapped." Celestia apologized and Luna smiled. Celestia played with her meal, making her magic do most of the work, she wasn't really hungry tonight.
"I'm sorry too Sister. We were just anxious to meet Discord again is all." Luna explained using the royal "We" as usual. Celestia sighed. She wished Discord would just hurry up and get here already, Luna was driving her a little crazy.
Discord entered the room with one of Celestia's guards. He smiled at him and thanked him politely not wanting to look bad in
front of the Princesses who looked pleased to see him.
The guard left saying something about going back to his post. Discord walked over to the long table and looked at Luna, he didn't realize she had grown so much after a thousand years punishment. He thought she would stay the same.
"Discord! How lovely of you to finally show yourself. What have you been doing all this time?" Celestia asked him as he sat down. He looked at her rather guilty.
"Well, dear Tia. I was just getting ready, I didn't know where the bathroom was. You really should have more signage." He replied with a coy smile. Luna giggled she had that problem herself once in a while. She got lost in her own home.
Celestia groaned, it seemed like these two were going to get along fine.
"Well some of my rooms are private and I can't afford multiple 'keep out' signs everywhere." She explained as she looked at him suspiciously.
"Why, Discord? What room were you in?" She asked him. Discord shifted uncomfortably. He didn't want to have this conversation right now.
"Just a room Celestia, I didn't know it was such a problem." He said defensively. Luna looked at him and his sister, she had no idea why things had gotten so awkward all of a sudden she was having a good time.
Celestia sighed feeling deflated, she gave up as the two guests with her talked and laughed aimlessly about various things. She wasn't paying too much attention, she just hoped her sister knew what she was getting herself into.
She got up and left the two there, she wasn't missed. Discord and Luna were talking about her and how bossy she could be sometimes. Luna felt a little bad about bashing her sister, but she had these feelings for a long time and it was good to talk them out.
"There was this one time, when Celestia and you were playing in the field." Discord was saying, Luna nodded she loved hearing stories about her younger years, she didn't remember them as well.
"You and Tia were playing this one game, I think it was hide and seek or something I can't really remember." He reminisced, the dark blue Princess nodded, listing aptly.
"Tia was feeling very tired and snippy with you that day, I believe she just wanted to get rid of you. She told you to hide in the forest near yonder and she said she would look for you, but sadly she didn't." He continued, his eyes watering.
"T-that's not true.. Tia would never do something so cruel to me." Luna stammered, shocked that her sister would do such a thing to a filly.
"Oh but she did, dear Luna and it was myself who had to find you. You were sniffling in the forest, it was very dark and back then you were afraid of the dark like any other filly."
He told her, feeling pity for the Princess as her smile evaporated. The Princess of the Night had no idea, how ruthless Celestia was a child. She thought their love was stronger, much stronger than that.
"Please tell me your fibbing to me. My sister cannot have been so cruel." She whimpered. Discord had to lean in more so he could hear her, the poor Princess was crying softly now and it was hard to understand her.
It sounded like the Princess was talking to herself more than him. Discord smiled sadly, he knew this conversation would be hard on her but he didn't know how hard.
Luna sniffled as she wiped her eyes with her hoof. She smiled meekly at him and he smiled back.
"So you were there for me when she wasn't, how kind of you." She said and she blushed a deep rose pink. Discord himself blushed at the look the blue alicorn was giving him, it was one of idolization.
He smiled and patted her on the the head with his paw, she giggled softly. "Yes I was there for you, I was there when your sister wasn't and that was often." He said looking at her with a calm look as the pony frowned more deeply. She looked ready to burst into tears and Discord didn't want to see this beautiful pony cry.
"Oh don't cry please Luna. I'm just telling you the truth." He said softly and Luna sniffed.
"B-but t-this truth i-is awful" She stuttered though gasps and sobs. She was crying freely now and she threw her forearms around him in a hug he didn't expect.
Discord shuddered at her touch, he had a little crush on her now. Seeing her as she was, all sparkly and sobbing. Discord putt his paw on her head gently and smiled sweetly at her.
Luna was surprised, Discord's smile was actually nice. She didn't really know how to react so she just smiled back, equally kindly at him. Discord's eyes widened and he laughed, the sound of his laughter echoing through the hall.

Celestia was inside her chamber. Her mind whirling, how could things get so complicated with them so fast? Was it the past repeating itself? No, she thought. I will not let that happen again. She cried in her mind. Celesta sniffed slightly as she drifted of to a nightmare filled sleep.
