It was a grand white building. Made completely of fluffy cloud. This certain building was the centre of Cloudsdale. Being right in the heart of it. Cloudsdale Houses of Law. Not the home of the dreaded Lords, but their place of work. And besides, it could be classified as their home as they rarely go to their own homes. Concerntrating on 'trying' to rule the pegasi. Now, they were trying to rule the whole of Equestria.

Crowds gathered around and under the large balcony. It wasn't a big crowd. As ponies were too scared to come, but a crowd at least. Chatting and muttering among themselves. Half of the crowd were guards. Soldiers. While the rest were just simple ponies. Well, almost simple ponies.

At the back of the crowd, sat the two Solar Sisters. Princess Celestia Solaris and Princess Luna Eclipse. Sitting proudly on the pearl white cloud thrones. Beside them, were the younger alicorns. Princess Mi Amore Cadenza and Princess Twilight Sparkle. Next to both of the princesses, were also the Elements of Harmony. And the remaining of the Wonderbolts. A cyan pegasus sat closer to Princess Twilight. Being her personal protector. But she was here for something else. To end the Lords' lives. She sat quietly beside her purple friend. Her eyes gently closed as she tried to gain calmness. Being calm and mediated before a kill was crucial in the assassins life. It meant that there would be less chance of their emotions running amok. If their emotions showed through their heartless exterior, it was a sign of weakness. Rainbow sat quite motionless. Concerntrating on her inner self.

But, that was short lived. As a ice blue pegasus kept interrupting her.

"Rainbow. Are you sure you can do this?"

"Of course. I'm a bloody assassin. It's what I do." The mare snorted. Her eyes still closed and her head lowered.

"Yes well, this must be pretty big for you."

"Hardly. The biggest I've dealt with was attempting to kill my brother."

"Your brother?"

"Long story short. He joined an evil organisation, became their leader and wanted me to battle him in Canterlot Arena."

"Right...okay...well. It must be-"

"Just be quiet, Soarin. Please. " Rainbow quietly begged. Her beautiful rose eyes opened wide. The stallion stared straight into them. His heart fluttering. He didn't want her to do this. He wanted her. To keep her safe. But, he couldn't even do that.

"I'm sorry, Dash." He lowered his head. Why couldn't he think of another way? Another way that would not take Rainbow away from him. He glanced at the cyan pegasus. Watching her long prismatic mane sway in the gentle wind. Her glimmering cyan feathers rustling as the delicate slender fingers of the breeze flowed around them. He noticed her ear twitched.

Rainbow turned to Twilight. Who sadly nodded in return. The others watched as she stood up trotted away. Soarin felt like crying. Not being able to be with Rainbow for the rest of his life. And to make it worse, while he would be flying in circles and swirls in front of thousands of fans, she would be in pain. As she would be tortured till the day she dies. He could hear a cracking of a whip and her cries at the back of his mind. He pictured her, in dirty, rusted chains. Her elegant wings bound beside her. Blood dripping from various wounds as she was constantly tortured. Her shining rose hue eyes, dull and dead. Lacking the fire of confidence, determination and passion from before.

Twilight hugged him. Feeling the pain he was feeling. They all were. But Soarin took it worse. Not being able to be with the one he loved. Watching his heart get ripped out as she trotted away. Out of sight.

"And thus, we will conquer Princesses and rule the land as well as the sky!!" An elder stallion boomed with triumph. Most of the soldiers cheered. Some of them didn't. They didn't want to do this. But they were stuck. To serve the Lords till death.

Five elder pegasus stallions stood proudly on the cloud balcony. As they shouted their plan to everypony. The princesses wanted to just zap them. Banish them. Send them to the moon. Send them to the sun. They growled. But they cautiously waited for their dear friend to work her magic. To kill the Lords.

Soarin was now internally shouting at himself. To see the mare he loved again. To hold her. To hug once more. If Rainbow was going, he had to do something before she went. Something important. He stood up and flew off in Rainbow's direction. Leaving the others. Either confused with his actions or not even noticing that he was gone.

"We will enslave the unicorns. We will enslave the earth ponies. We will make them bow before us. Their true leaders." The taller lord cheered. He reared onto his back legs. His arms open as he cheered. "We will be the dominate species!! We will kill who ever will get in our way!! And we wil-" The Lord began to cough. The other Lords shaking their heads.

"How embarrassing." One of them whispered. To cough, sneeze or whatever during a great speech was the most awkward and embarrassing thing ever. Yet, they didn't see the crucial thing.

The Lord spluttered up scarlet red liquid. Red began to drip from his chest. His yellow eyes rolled back before he collapsed to the ground. Two guards and the Lords surrounded the limp pegasus. While everypony gasped. A small dagger was placed deep into his chest. The Lord now lay in a pool of his own blood as it gushed from his chest. The remaining Lords had an idea who did this, and dagger confirmed it. The dagger was plain. A simple blade with a simple black handle. But on the handle was a peculiar symbol. That of the Assassin's Creed.

"Assassin!! Find where she is and bloody drag her here!!" One of the Lords demanded. The guards saulted before fluttering off.

Not noticing the pegasus mare. Hiding in the shadow of another balcony. Between her teeth, a small dagger. Similar to the one in the dead Lord's chest. Her ear twitched as screams of terror erupted from the crowd. She didn't notice the pegasus stallion zooming up behind her.

"Rainbow!!" He called.

Rainbow Dash quickly turned around to face Soarin.
"What the hell?! Why are you here? Go!!" She demanded through the dagger in her mouth.

"No, Rainbow. I can't leave you."

"What?! Just go, you stupid stallion!! I've got work to do!!" She moved closer to the edge. Trying to aim towards another Lord. Who was now trying to calm the crowd. She took the dagger from her mouth and lifted her fore-leg.

"Rainbow please. I just want to be with you. Don't do this!" He ran up to Rainbow. But the mare slipped to the side. He fell forwards. Forgetting about his wings. His mind panicking. He grabbed onto the closet thing. Which unfortunately, was the end of a certain black cloak.

Rainbow yelped as she was dragged down. The motion of her getting dragged down was too quick for her to realise what was happening and to open her wings. So the two pegasi fell onto the large balcony below. The one with the Lords.

"You!! I knew it!! Guards!!!" The green Lord yelled. Pointing towards the assassin.

Rainbow Dash pushed Soarin away and quickly got up. The dagger that was in her hoof a minute ago was long gone. Stallions in white armour surrounded her. Attempting to down the mare. Soarin groggily got up. Four Lords and a guard around him. He saw Rainbow trying to fight off the other guards.

"A Wonderbolt? With an assassin? Now I've seen it all. Don't worry. You can watch your little friend die. That would make you happy, won't it?" The eldest Lord grinned evilly. Soarin growled. He saw the dagger laying on the floor. He quickly picked it up, before throwing it at the Lord. He expected to scratch the Lord, cut him. Injure him. But no. The dagger planted itself into the Lord's throat. Soarin's green eyes opened wide as the Lord choked and gasped before falling to the ground.

"He killed Sir Alto Cumulus!! Get him!!"

The guards leapt at the young Wonderbolt. Who bucked and kicked the guards around him. He saw that Rainbow was beginning to lose her battle with the other guards. They had her pressed against a wall. She stabbed three guards and slit two others' throats with her bracer. She flew over to Soarin to help him out.

"Once I've killed them. I'm going to kill you." She growled as she kicked another guard. Soarin gulped. But no sooner, Rainbow stopped dead in her tracks.

"Rainbow?"

The assassin fell to floor. A red dart in her neck. Her cloak spread out, across her body. And her wings outstreched.

"Rainbow!!" Soarin yelled. But a guard overpowered him. Forcing him against the wall. Another guard picked up Rainbow Dash and put her limp body on his back. The three remaining Lords trotted over to Soarin. Who spat in their face. "What did you do to her?!"

"She's just unconscious. Don't worry. You and her will be in the same cell. In Ianua Tartara!! Hahaha!!" He laughed manically as the guards carried away Soarin and an unconscious Rainbow Dash.

"We have finally got the leader of The Creed!! Huzzah!!"

"Oh no! They've got Rainbow! And Soarin!!" Rarity wailed. While the event unfurled in front of them, they had no power to do anything. Celestia held her head down in shame.

"Equestria....is no longer a land of peace and happiness." She whispered.

"But now, a war ridden sight. We have failed to rule this land peacefully." Luna finished. The ponies sat in silence. Watching the guards carry away the only hope they had left. The hope Equestria had left.

And now it was gone....forever.

And so was the Creed.

Rainbow killed one more Lord and failed the assassination!! And Soarin killed one too!!
