"What did Rainbow do?"

"She said she would deal with it another time. She said she had bigger things on her plate."

"Indeed she does. But whatever she's planning, she won't succeed. She's weak." A voice teased. The two ponies turned to a shadowed pony by the doorway. "Rainbow Dash will lose. And The Creed will crash and burn along with her."

The princess and the Wonderbolt stared at the pegasus pony at the doorway. His curly blue locks swaying in front of his ice blue eyes. His smirk plastered across his violet face. His purple coat glimmering clean.

"Who are you and how did you get through the shield?" Twilight demanded. Her horn gently glowing in case of an attack.

"Easy. I had a fellow unicorn help me. Or shall I say I forced her." The pegasus slammed the door shut as he trotted in. "With her special somepony behind bars, she was like putty in my hooves. Isn't that right, Lyra?"

"Lyra?!"

An injured mint unicorn slowly walked in. Her head down in shame. Her foreleg gently dripping blood.
"I'm sorry, your highness. I failed to protect you."

"H-How?! No average unicorn can be able to even touch this shield." Twilight was confused. Her mind trying to make sense over something so implausible.

"I...I went to Celestia's School as well Twilight. I may have been behind a bit but I can still do strong magic." Lyra croaked. Upset about how her school friend forgot about her.

"I know but....wow. You must be pretty strong. Nopony can come through this shield."

The unicorn smiled weakly at the complement. But the stallion moved forwards. Towards the princess.

"Enough! Without Mistress Dashery I can freely talk to the Princess without being pummeled to death."

Soarin fluttered in front of the princess. His wings flared out as he stood his ground. Protecting the violet alicorn. He glared at the servant of the Pegasi Lords.

"Back off. Just because Dash isn't here doesn't mean you can just barge in here demanding whatnot. Now get out." Soarin growled. But the unwelcomed guest just trotted closer. Then, Twilight's eyes widened in surprise. Something clicked in her head. She knew this pony.

"Well well well. Isn't it Miss Rainbow Dash? Long time no see."

"Oh get out of my way, Thunder."

"Pttf. Attitude much."
"Lords. We have visitors."

Twilight pushed past Soarin.
"You're Thunder, right?"

"Of course. Thunder Blast, servant of the Pegasi Lords." He bowed before the princess.

"How do you know Rainbow?"

"Pardon?"

"How. Do you. Know. Rainbow?" Twilight asked sternly.

"Well...umm...."

"Tell me or I shall send for my personal protector." The alicorn smirked. "You said she'll probably pummel you to the ground."

Thunder gulped. And then sighed. Admitting his defeat.
"She used to be my closet friend. That was until...the event."

"What happened?"

"I don't have to tell you!! It's private!!" The purple pegasus yelled. Anger glistening over his ice blue eyes.

"Yes you do. Otherwise, I will have to get Rainbow."

"Fine." He grunted. "I'll tell you. Just don't tell her I was here."
Thunder Blast sat down. His eyes on the floorboards.
"We were the bestest of friends. Me and Rainbow. My family knew her family, so we were always close. I was her first friend. Beside Fluttershy. I only met Fluttershy a couple of times. And the more I grew up with Rainbow, the more my feelings grew for her. But I couldn't tell her. I was a coward. Then finally, I had the chance. It was a week after her parents had died, and she took control of The Creed. She was...a complete state. She was broken inside. Hurting. But she always put up her little guard. I tried to comfort her, but it never worked. I remember the one night she stayed at mine. I've never seen her cry so much. She was still young. She stayed in my room. And I heard her crying and wailing. I've never felt so upset for her. She was crying, 'it hurts', 'Make them stop.' and finally 'please don't leave me.'. She was obviously on about her parents. You see, I was the only pony that knew about Night Stinger. The whole Creed knew about the deaths of their leaders, just not the raping of their new leader. She thought if anypony knew, the would see her as a weak pony." Thunder Blast looked up to the now sitting ponies. "She was hurting so much. And I couldn't do anything. Then, she had a mission to do. And that was to kill one of the Lords."

"I thought that was illegal."

"It is. But this Lord was accused of abusing pegasi. Verbally and physically. Had killed at least ten pegasi."

"Oh my." Twilight gasped.

"Yes. Well, it didn't end too well for Rainbow."

~~~~~~
A young cyan mare flew through the fluffy white corridors. Her hooded black cloak swaying madly as the pegasus flew. She couldn't quite soar as the ceilings were too low, but she could still glide. Every so often, she would gallop. Losing altitude as she glided. Behind her, hot on her tail, were five stallions in white armour.
"Git back ere, ya ittle wrench!!" One of them growled. His large blue wings beating beside him. But the mare would not stop. Although injured, she couldn't stop. It would mean nopony to protect Equestria. Celestia. And her young student. Her body screaming out in pain. Her mind screeching at her to stop. She did the opposite. Her hooves and parts of her cloak were stained scarlet red. Blood both from her victim and herself dripped onto the clean white floor. Her rose gem eyes searching for a form of escape. A window. A door. Anything. But no. There was nothing. She had only been a master assassin for a week and this was her biggest mission. She was about to give up. Her body aching with pain. Then she saw it. A door. Now she had an escape, she had to get rid of the stallions.
Suddenly, her wing completely clammed up. She wailed out in agony, as hot pain ripped through her wing muscles. Then she fell. The assassin lost her balance completely. And fell to the floor in sore heap. The stallions hovered over and held the weak pony down.
"We've got her now! She's a goner now!" One of the guards cheered.
"You will be dearly punished for your crime, assassin of the Creed." The blue stallion hissed. He twisted the mare's now broken cyan wing, and she cried out in pain.
"Hey! Don't do that! The Lords will punish her, not us."
"Whatever." The guard stood up. "Ya can leave her, ya know. She's too weak to do anything." He sneered. The other guards hesitated, but stood up.
The bloodied pegasus shakily got up. Madly shivering with pain.
"T-Traitors. Equestria is...our home. And a...all you want to do is d-destroy it." She spat.
"Oh shut it, you stupid mare!"
"You're the traitor. A coward. A weakling." They teased. But two of the guards coughed up blood. Staining their coats. Their eyes rolled to the back of their heads before collapsing to the ground. Lifeless. The three remaining guards looked over to the assassin, who now help a bloodied dagger.
"Get her! Get her now!!" They yelled. But they were no match for the mare. Although injured and weak, she was still quick on her hooves. And sliced the guards throats.
She stood in the middle of the grand corridor. Bodies of guards, laying around her. Their warm blood draining onto the floor. She quickly slid her dagger back into it's holster. She coughed. Pain wrapped around her. Burning throughout her small body. Her lungs dry and burning. Her breathing hard and laboured.
"Rainbow!! Rainbow Dash!!"
Rainbow quickly turned around to see her old friend, Thunder Blast. His curly hair bouncing around his face as he galloped up. Not even using his violet wings.
"Rainbow! Are you okay? What are you doing here? What happened to the guards?" He frantically asked as he hugged her.
"I-I-I killed them..."
"Why?"
"Cause...I...cause I...killed Sir Ice Wing."
"What?!"
"I-I-I had to. He...he was-"
"Shut up!!"
Rainbow was stunned by her friend's sudden yelling.
"How dare you kill our elders!! Our leaders!!"
"They aren't leaders!! They're selfish! Cruel!!"
"Dammit Rainbow!! Why?"
"Why are you so mad, Thunder? Ice Wings was just bully. They all are."
"Cause they are masters. I am their ever faithful servant. And you killed one of my masters." Thunder growled.
"Servant? No. Thunder. You can't."
"I can and am! Guards!! Assassin!! I have found the assassin!" He yelled.
Rainbow's ears flattened and she staggered back.
"I thought....I thought we were friends, Thunder."
"Not anymore. Guards!!"
"Damn you, Thunder!!" She cried out as she bucked her friend. Knocking him into the wall. His snout broken and bleeding.
Rainbow's ears twitched as she heard the clanking of armour and loud hood steps. A large group of guards galloped towards her. Rainbow quickly trotted to the door. She locked the door and blocked it with a nearby table. Banging and yelling could be heard on the outside of the door. The mare searched her surroundings. It was a room. With a bookcase, desk and stool. And a window. Although crying, she smiled. She bucked the windows open before looking down. She was pretty high up. And with her wing completely shattered, she was doomed. She heard the banging on the door as the guards tried to break in. But these doors are enchanted. Even though they are cloud, they act like a normal wooden door. Hard and bulky. Rainbow gulped as she outstreched her bloodied wing. Whimpering in pain. And then jumped down.
By the time the guards broke in, she was gone. Nowhere to be seen. Thunder trotted in and stared out of the window. Tears welling up in his ice blue eyes.
"I'm sorry, Rainbow."
Author's Notes:
Wooo. Rainbow's history with Thunder Blast. Now even more competition. With Spitfire fighting Rainbow, there might be a chance with Thunder and Soarin fighting over Rainbow.
