"About time you two got here, look at what the princess found." A white hair mare pointed to a torn scroll and an old crumpled book.

"I found the treaty and a book on old pegasi laws." Twilight lifted up the objects with her magic. Each of them glowing bright pink. The scroll however, started to glow blue. And hovered towards the princess of the night. Her eyes scanned the paper as it unravelled.

"Blah blah blah blah.....keeping old laws...blah....pegasi ways....war against the Princess...blah blah....Signed by Princess Celestia Solaris. There's nothing. No flaws or errors. It's all secure." Luna passed the scroll to her sister. Celestia sighed.

"I was afraid of this." Celestia held the scroll in her magic. It glittering bright gold. "The Pegasi Lords made sure it would be completely fool-proof."

"I cannot believe you signed this, sister. Not only do the Lords abuse their own, they can rage war anytime. Why sign this?" Luna huffed at her elder sister. Celestia just shook her head.

"It was the only way. The were going to start a war. And with me, by myself, it was rather difficult. I didn't want war on my hooves. I was still broken from sending my sister to the moon, rather than helping her. And I was still getting used to the fact that I was now controlling both sun and moon. Once you gone Luna, the Lords saw that as a chance for war."

"So...so this my fault?" The blue alicorn squeaked.

"What? No!" The white goddess moved over and hugged her sibling. "You never knew. It was not yor fault. It was really mine. If I wasn't concentrating on running the kingdom, I would have seen you. I would have seen your jealously, anger and sorrow. I would have helped you. And this whole thing could have been avoided."

"Is there anything in the book?" Cadence asked as her two aunts embraced each other. The purple alicorn shrugged her shoulders.

"I haven't looked. But-"

"Ssh!"

"What?"

"Ssh!"

"Pinkie, I-"

"Ssh!" The pink pony shoved her hoof into her violet friend's mouth. Suddenly, her whole body began shake.

"Is she having a seizure?"

"No, Fleefoot. It's her Pinkie sense." The white pegasus turned to her cousin. "Doozy?"

"BBBBBad dddddddooozzyyyy!!" The pink mare continued to shake. "Ponyville!! Ponyville is in trouble!!"

Everypony gasped before galloping out. Luna, Rainbow and the Wonderbolts took to the skies.
"We'll meet you there, sister. We'll be quicker by flying."

"Sure. We'll teleport." The others on the ground were surrounded by a golden glow. Before disappearing from sight. The flying ponies sped up. Towards the little town.

"AAAAAHHHHHHH!!!"

"Run for your lives!!"

"Let me go!!"

The screams of ponies echoed throughout Ponyville. Screams as pegasi in white armour attacked them. Houses and shops were filled with smoke. Windows were smashed and ponies were running around. Escaping the clutches of pegasi. The pegasus ponies that lived in Ponyville were confused, and tried to stop the armoured ones. But with no luck. They were either taken, beaten or pushed aside.

"Take every pegasus!! Traitors to our Lords!! And beat the unicorns!! And earth ponies!!" A elder pegasus in blue armour shouted over the screaming. Unicorns fought back with the skills they had. A yellow stallion with blue hair, also know as Comet Tail, shot stars. That once hit the ponies, turned to sparkles. A purple unicorn with a short purple hair levitated various items and threw them. The earth ponies like Carrot Top and The Cakes did what they could. They grabbed buckets of water from the well to put out the fires.

Beams of orangey-gold blasted at the leader. A mint unicorn smirked as she hit him. And she galloped away to help her friends. A purple pegasus mare with a combed back blonde mane stood beside a beige earth pony with midnight blue and hot pink curled hair. The both of them dodged and attacked the attacking pegasi. Being trained assassins, it was no wonder. But, there were too many. Eventually, Bonbon got ambushed. Unable to help her friend, Cloudkicker continued to fight back. The same mint unicorn skidded over, by her friend's side.

"Where's Bonbon?" Lyra shouted over the screams and cracking of fires. She shot several beams at different guards.

"She got taken."

The unicorn's golden eyes opened wide in fear. Her loved one had been taken by these scoundrels and she couldn't do anything to help. Heck! She wasn't even there to witness this.

"Ponyville. The home of the Elements of Harmony. The home of Princess Twilight Sparkle. The home of that bitchy assassin." The leader hissed. His chunky armour-although cloud-clanked and bashed around as he moved.

"I'm only bitchy when I need to be." A voice said calmly.

The pegasus stallion stopped and whizzed around. Seeing a cyan pegasus mare. Her long rainbow hair, covering her face. He could only make out a sly smirk. Her wings neatly folded by her sides as she stood proudly.

"Great. Another traitor. Tell me assassin, what does feel like to betray your own kind? Hmm." He asked as he trotted over to the mare. She stood still. Not moving or making eye contact with him.

"Stupid really. What's the point? Of an assassin? Or the Creed? Pointless really." The stallion scoffed as walked circles around the mare. "Who are you really protecting? Fighting for the peace of Equestria? Puh-lease! Equestria has no peace."

"Equestria does have peace. Not many ponies see this through the darkness filled alleys and grubby roads. But Equestria has the peace to allow the ponies and creatures within happiness. And to lead a good life. A free life."

"Really? Celestia is pathetic. Her sister is no better. Cadence? A princess of love? Give me strength! A weakling! Oh! And what about Princess Twilight Sparkle? The one you protect?"

"I protect all princesses and the bearers of The Elements of Harmony. Along side of the Royal Guard."

"Great. You protect some stupid, weak, pathetic ponies that have pretty necklaces. And Princess Twilight. She's pointless really. Who would care if she just dropped dead? Look! I'm a pweety pwincess with pwetty wings. I used to be a snobby Canterlot unicorn, but now I'm a even more a pathetic pwincess!" He huffed as flapped his large white wings.

"Don't you dare disrespect our rulers!! They do so much for us yet you still turn your nose up at them." Rainbow pointed a hoof at the stallion. Who just slapped it down.

"Oh shush you. The Pegasi Lords will be Equestria new leaders. It's only a matter of time till-bleurgh!!" The pegasus coughed and spluttered up blood as he was bucked in the chest. He fell to floor in a crumpled bloodied heap. She leant down to him and whispered into his ear.

"Who's weak now?"

He only groaned a response as he tightly clutched his chest. His armour only made it worse as crushed down onto his injury.

"Guards!! Stop this instance!!" She yelled. All the pegasi in armour stopped and turned to their leader. Curled up on the floor.
"As the highest authority here, I order you to release your prisoners and retreat back to your base."

"But ma'am. Orders were to attack."

"Orders now are to retreat. Now is there anypony that doesn't want to obey my orders?" She glared at the stallions. Who vigorously shook their heads. They quickly released the unicorns and earth ponies that they had caught and helped put out the fires. Two stallions fluttered over and picked up the now unconscious leader.

"What do we say to the Lords?"

"Tell them there's an oncoming storm approaching them. And they will be the ones caught in the eye of it." She grinned as she trotted away. Whipping her rainbow coloured tail in the process.
"Attendite, domini mei. Ad id bellum ... incepit."

OoooOoo! The war has finally begun!! We are finally breaking the ice and diving right into the story. Expect more fight now. Especially between Rainbow and Spitfire.

Sorry for the wait . I'm back at school (Celestia help me!) And when I originally did this chapter, it was a bit...OTT.

I put Nightmare Moon in it and had the guards turn to stone that really wasn't stone but really an illusion to the mind and she got shot in the wing by the leader.

Then I changed it completely. Hope it's good now. Updating will take a day or two...or three. Depends really.
