I tried talking with a guard today. I asked him to only call me Luna but he refused. I assured him I would not object to the lack of formality, I begged, I pleaded with him just to use my name.

“The princess has ordered that you should be called princess, princess,” he finally said.

It is nothing but a word they are told to call me. Celestia is still ‘The’ princess. I am only a hollow shell she has assigned a title to. I have no power and no authority yet they still insist on calling me ‘princess’. That word has become to me the worst of insults.
