Hey guys. This is honestly my first fanfiction... like... ever. So my apologies if it kinda sucks but constructive criticism is much loved. Anyway I hope you find enjoyment in this story and it's "Hairy" shenanigans

The First Sightings

"WHAT IN TARNATIONS?!" A furious Applejack growled as she and her big brother Big Mac started to go through the apple fields "Alla these apples are half eaten?! I made sure no critters could get in!"

The big stallion sighed looking at all the half eaten apples laying on the ground. Could it have been a raccoon? More than likely yes. Big Mac knew that raccoon's had a tendency to take one bite and then drop it before finishing it. It was a fact of life. But for all these apples on the ground, there must have been one hell of a group of them. Even worse, the same had happen to all the other crops around their farm this year. What on earth was going on here? Big Mac continued to scan the damage until... something caught his eye. He got closer and gasped seeing three whole trees uprooted and pulled from the ground.

"Er... definitely wasn't a raccoon." The stallion sighed not knowing that this was just the beginning.

Meanwhile at the SurgarCube Corner, Mr. and Mrs. Cake were frantically running through their shop... er... what was left of it anyhow. Somehow while they were asleep, something had gotten in and began to eat all the left over sweets and pretty much make a mess of the shop. And yet the couple weren't waken up and not even Pound Cake and Cup Cake woke up from what looked like a huge racket. This wasn't good. Wasn't good at all. More and more of these happenings were found all over Ponyville that day. Several shops had items stolen, food was eaten and trash left everywhere. And yet nobody could figure out what caused it. It even began to affect Twilight Sparkle and her group of friends. Several bits of Pinkie Pie's party supplies were stolen, Animals that Fluttershy had been caring for were obviously spooked about something, Twilight found several of her books spread out and some pages were even torn, Several clouds had been formed into odd shapes (including things that should not be discussed) much to Rainbow Dash's dismay. As for Rarity? A lot of threads and jewels were stolen from her shop.

As the day went on and the citizens began to fix up what was broken and try to replace what was stolen, a certain Filly of the Apple family was walking through the woods for a small visit to Zecora. Why? Well the same reason why the whole Cutie Mark Crusaders was made to begin with. Applebloom was hoping that if she helped Zecora enough with making potions that soon they may be able to find a way for her, Scootaloo and Sweetie Bell to get their cutie marks.
"Ah wonder if Zecora may also help us figure out what's been causin' all the rucus in to- huh?" She turned around in time to see a large shadow walking past her quickly. "H-hello? Is... someone... th-there?"
The shadow stopped and looked at her were rather mean looking yellow eyes. In a fright, she quickly dashed towards the Zebra's hut and slammed the door shut to see a confused Zecora.

"Applebloom, is something wrong? You look as though a ghost decided to tag along." The zebra smiled comfortingly to the scared filly.
"Th-there's some weird critter outside!" Applebloom panicked as she looked out the window. She couldn't see it but had a feeling it was still there... watching with those big evil eyes.

"A critter you say? Funny, my items outside tend to scare them away- what is this?" The zebra looked outside and gasped "My heart's desire... someone has stolen it!"
"It's been happenin' all over Ponyville. Everyone's things have gone missing." Applebloom explained as she peeked out the window and saw the eyes again and immediately screamed in fright.
