15 years have passed in Ponyville and a lot has changed during that time. Ponyville has grown much in this time. The school is bigger to accumulate the population boom of ponies. There are more buildings including the new school for young unicorns and the main 6 have grown into adults and have done great things for themselves, and their children. Like for one Rainbow dash is now the captain of the Wonderbolts and has gotten married to a stallion named Speedster. During these 15 years they had a baby colt named Dashter, who is in the new Rainbow Dash Academy for Gifted Flyers. Like her parents she shares the same hide color and glorious rainbow mane. He was already showing such raw skill in flying that he could easily pass his parents in skill with time. That isn’t all rainbow has been up to, she also officially adopted Scootaloo after she lost her parents in a tragic fire. Scootaloo now controls the weather in Ponyville continuing her tradition of trying to be like Rainbow Dash.

Twilight has become the most powerful unicorn in all of equrstria her magic rivals that of Celestia and Luna. And has opened her own school for gifted unicorns that holds its own against celestias school. The once "Great and Powerful" Trixie has become a teacher at twilights school specializing in teaching ice magic. With the school and her constant studying twilight has had a life of success, but has yet to truly find love. Spike is no longer the baby dragon who helped twilight in the library. He is now a fully grown dragon and has gone off to fight in celestrias army. Twilight now spends most of her time in the school studying and improving minds of her students.

Rarity moved from Ponyville and opened up a boutique in Canterlot where only the most rich and lavish ponies go to get her custom made clothes. She has a daughter of her own named Gem who has the flawless ivory hide like her mother and the sleek dark mane of her father Soarin. Gem goes to Twilights school for gifted unicorns and has become her protégé. She stays with her aunt Sweetie belle in Ponyville since it's closer to Twilights school, but does go home on the weekends.

With Granny Smith passing away Applejack and hew stallion mate jam have turned sweet apple acres into a thriving business with the addition to jam to their products. They have a pair of twins, a filly Applecake and Apple Jam a colt, they have their moms’ freckles and orange skin, but they have their dads yellow mane. Apple bloom has gone off to promote the amazing apples that come from Sweet Apple Acres to all of Equestria, to help make money for the farm. Big Mac is still being himself helping out at the farm in any way he can, but he is after one special pony.

Fluttershy has become the mayor of Ponyville in a landslide election.(Some ponies say that Futtershy used some sort of witchcraft to win the election(Use of the stare may or may not have been involved)). She opened up the first Ponyville Vet center for pets and woodland creatures. We shall await and see what changes she will bring as the mayor. Nothing could go wrong with her being mayor right?

Last and certainly not least we have Pinkie Pie. Well for starters Mr. and Mrs. Cake have left her Sugarcube corner to run. Oh almost forgot, but she actually found somepony who can actually have a conversation with her for more than 10 minutes, so of course she married that pony. The wedding between Pinkamena Diane Pie and Derpy Hooves was the biggest party/celebration Equestria has ever seen. Even Luna and Celestria were in attendance. Most of the ponies couldn’t really believe it was actually happening even though they saw the wedding take place. They moved in together in the new expanded Sugarcube Corner where they lived happily despite the few incidents of destruction caused by Derpy that happen from time to time. They even manage to pop out a lil baby colt and after much deliberation Derpy and Pinkie came up with the name Derpy Pie Hooves. He was smaller than the average new born pony, but his parents didn’t care they loved him with all their heart. He had a pair of gorgeous wings that were a mix of pink and yellow that hung on his back almost covering his whole body due to his small size. He was a light pink with a big yellow poofy mare and tail almost the same style as his mother. That is where this story begins on Derpys Jr first day of flight school school.
