Episode 3: Tanks a lot!

The dawn of a new day rose over the city. At the Taylor household, Rex was in his room, looking over his new dinosaur book

Outside, Sunset was just dressed and walking along the halls.

"I didn't really think this house could hold us all. I guess we got lucky…" Sunet said before she heard crashing in Rex's room.

"Ace! Look at what you've done!" Rex said.

Sunset hurried inside.

"Rex, is everything alright?!" Sunset asked as she saw what was going on. She saw dirty prints all over the book Rex was reading.

"Does it look like it? Ace just totally ruined my new book!" Rex said angrily.

"Calm down, I'm sure he didn't mean it, and we could wash it all out… what the?!" Sunset said before the little carnivore tried to help out, by licking the mud off, but ended up slobbering the whole book.

"Uh.. maybe that's his way of helping?" Sunset asked.

"Now there's spit all over it!" Rex snapped angrily.

Sunset sighed. "I get the feeling you having a carnivore as a pet is backfiring."

"Thanks for that. Max and Zoe are lucky since they have herbivores and not a carnivore as one." Rex said.

"Remember, handling a pet is a huge responsibility. I know it's difficult, but it is worth it, to have companion. You're even lucky. Ace is a Dinosaur, not just some other animal you can just pick up. I know this is hard, but give it time. I know you and Ace will come around." Sunset said smiling.

"Thanks for the advice, Sunset." Rex said.

"Now come on, we got breakfast. Aki even whipped up something for the 'dogs'." Suset said.

"Maybe for Chomp and Paris...but maybe not something Ace can eat." Rex said as he looked at the little carnivore, who shook his body and ran out of the room.

(zooming up on a body of water, the D-Team is seen. The guitars kick in and Pterosaurs flew near the D-team and flew into the blue skies. They then flew past the Humane six and Sonata as the prehistoric era was seen)

Chilling out with the crew in the schoolyard

(Max is seen, running along side his baby version of a baby Triceratops.)

Finding trouble, never working too hard

(Rex is seen next, running with a baby Carnotaurus.)

Back in class they never taught us this

(Zoe was next, running with a baby Parasaurolophus)

Some things you gotta learn, hit or miss!

(The humane six, Sonata and the D-Team join up as the three dinos glowed)

Tough times, hard climbs

(Max takes out a card with an adult Triceratops and sweeps it along a handheld device.)

We'll take them all together!

(Rex and Zoe follow suite and swipe their cards as well.)

Right now, let's go!

(Both groups stand together with the three dinos at full strength with the dinos roaring.)

Game on, get your game on!

(Chomp and Max stand side by side as Chomp charges in.)

Come on, you better play your cards right!

(Rex draws a new card as Ace stands ready for battle.)

(Zoe and Paris are right behind them as Zoe performs one of her unique moves when using her own move cards.)

You'll make the grade and win this fight!

(Sonata runs with a card in her hand, while being chased by a T-rex and tosses the card to Rex, who swipes it. A guitar solo then comes out as multiple dinos from the different elements ready their own signature moves. Among them are Terry, Spiny and Tank, tackling the Alpha gang and Terry biting Dr. Z's beard.)

You'll make the grade somehow,

(As all of the dinos begin fighting, on yeah, Max and Sunset give each other a high five. Then all of them are shown.)

Come on, you better play your cards right!

(Chomp, Ace, Paris, even Terry, Spiny and Tank in their full forms dash around one another, fighting for what's at stake on both sides!)

(All three raise their cards into the air as the title shows, Terry's roar shaking it up just like in the original opening.)

At Zeta Point, Dr. Z was doing something unusual.

"One more time! Shake a bone, shake a bone, shake a bone stew! Ride your own dinosaur, two by two!" He threw a few dino bones on the map and most of them were pointing at London. "Hah! No matter how many times I do it, it still says london! See kids, the bone don't lie."

"No offense Grandpa, but shouldn't you stick with something more scientific?" Rod asked.

"Why are you even bothering with dinosaur bones?" Laura asked.

"Nevermind. Let's go, Laura. We'll leave him with his fortune telling." Rod said as the two kids left.

"Zander did say something about him losing a marble, but I dunno…" Laura said.

"What are they saying? I haven't lost my marbles, only dinosaur cards! Those brats may have gotten lucky with that Irritator, but the next time, they won't be so lucky!" Z laughed.

Meanwhile at London….

Spike finally came down to London and entered one of the dinosaur Museums he visits from time to time. Entering, he meets the man, Dr. Brady, owner of the museum.

"Now, I would like to talk to you about some things, Mr. Brady." Spike said. "I took a picture of a fossil recently, and when it was developed, I saw this." He showed a picture of the bone, but some stone object was wedge into the digged up hole.

In another part of the museum, the Alpha gang was already there. From the bones guiding them, Dr .Z sended them at once to find the dinosaur cards there. They couldn't find them so far, and Ursula decided to do some shopping before they did so.

"This is absurd. Here we are in london all because of a bone headed bone game that Dr. Z likes to play. Ridiculous!" Ursula said. "And to be honest, I'm surprised you two bought into it."

"But Ursula, all you've been doing is shopping." Ed said, who was unfortunate enough to carry all of her purchases.

"Oh, so then it's my fault." Ursula said hitting his head. "I thought we were looking for designer stores, not dinosaurs."

"Well thats understandable, it could happen to anyone." Zander said. Not looking where was going in the dark, he saw a T-Rex skull in front of him, making him jump back and crash into the other two, causing them to fall to the floor and some bones shattering to the ground.

"Ow! What's the matter with you!?" Ursula snapped. "Did you forget who we are!? We're the Alpha Gang! We strike fear into people's hearts, not get scared by a bunch of bones!"

"Yeah Zander, this is a museum, what did you think was gonna be in it?" Ed added.

"Well excuse me for not liking skeletons." Zander countered.

Ursula then noticed a rock on the ground and took the pieces on the outside off of it. It was the final stone showing the picture of a mountain, which stood for earth.

"I think I found it. This is the stone, right?" She asked.

"Way to go Ursula!" Ed cheered. However, due to the sounds and mess they made, the alarms went off and the lights came back on.

"Cmon, let's get outta here!" Ursula said as they started to run before Ed was stopped in his tracks. Clearly, Ursula had not forgotten about her luggage.

"Do you honestly believe I would leave my purchases behind!? Go get them now!" She snapped.

"What!?"

Museum guards then piled out.

"What do they want!? Get rid of them!" Ursula snapped at the two.

"You heard her, Zander, get to it." Ed said.

"My head cannot take much more of this!" Zander snapped in stress. Suddenly, the guards piled on them and started to bash them with their batons.

"Heeelp!" Ed shouted while a dino skull was on his head.

In all the commotion, Zander kicked two capsules around as they broke open and soil from a plant spilled onto them. Due to soil still having natural earth properties, both cards started to glow purple and expand outward, surprising the Alpha Gang and the guards.

Out of the first card manifested a club-like tail, spikes around its armor and on all fours, relatively smaller than other dinos, but still big. It was a saichania, and it looked confused as to how it appeared in front of these strange new creatures.

The next card glowed and shifted into another tank like dinosaur. This one was built like a tank, but it had no club on its tail. Instead were razor sharp green spikes on them, and on its shoulders. This was a Gastonia.

"Did I do that?" Zander asked.

The guards quickly came out of their stupor and moved to the living tanks.

The Saichania was startled as it bolted as fast as it's short legs could carry him. The Gastonia just manifested, so it had no idea how to respond to this situation. It merely stood still as the guards nightsticks banged against its armor harmlessly and even broke due to hitting the spikes.

The Saichania on the other hand swung its tail club as it was running and knocked the guards silly, causing them to run away. At this moment, Spike and Drake arrived.

"Wow, can you believe that? A real live Saichania and a Gastonia!" He exclaimed in amazement.

The Saichania bashed her club at the wall and retreated, while the Gastonia lazily went in another direction. But then stopped at a wall, realizing he didn't have a tail like the other one. He found himself jealous of the female and stood there as the Alpha gang bolted.

Thats right, the Saichania is a female.

"Wow, you don't see that every day in your museum, huh Brady?" Spike asked.

Back with the D-Team…

"Oh come on Rex, I'm sure Ace didn't mean to ruin that book." Rainbow said.

"I keep telling him to calm down, but he wouldn't listen to me." Rex said, slightly angry still. Suddenly, the Dino holders and Shots started beeping.

"We got a hit!" Rainbow said.

"And its in London, England." Rex said.

"Oh no, my dads over there!" Max said as he ran for the D-Lab.

"Hey, wait up!" Zoe called as the others followed.

They quickly got there and Saw Reese faithful to her post.

"I've been expecting you. Ready to transport?" she asked.

"You better believe it!" Rainbow said in excitement as they all gathered around the teleporter. Ace was struggling in Rex's arms.

"Ace, calm down." He tried to get him to relax.

"Let's go!" Max said as they all pressed their buttons and transported to the museum.

"Oh, I'm glad youre here, kids." Spike said.

"So did you find a dinosaur card dad?" Max asked.

"Even better, a full sized Saichania is running around here." Spike said.

They all then saw the Gastonia sulking near the wall.

"Woah, that's a Gastonia!" Rainbow said in amazement.

The Gastonia perked its head up and looked at the group near them.

"It didn't run off like the Saichania?" Zoe asked.

"I guess it realized it didn't have a tail club to bash the wall down and it got stuck." Rainbow said.

"That's gotta be a shame for the poor fella." Aj said, feeling sorry for it.

The Gastonia saw the cowgirl and cocked its head. It turned around and slowly walked up to the group.

"Hey, It likes you, AJ!" Rainbow said.

"Huh, ah guess he's gonna be my partner then. Er, what should I name him?" Aj asked.

"Well, he has razor sharp spikes on his tail and shoulders…" Sunset said.

Aj smiled. "Ah know...Razor."

The Gastonia liked that name, as he did not have a club, but razor spikes over him. From now on, the Gastonia, will be named Razor. Razor happily licked Aj, making her laugh.

"I don't suppose now we can get back to business of locating the Saichania?" Rarity asked.

"True, as the Alpha gang is here already." Spike said.

"Wait, you mean the old lady is here now?" Zoe asked.

Even as Ursula was running in a different part of the museum, she had this feeling someone out there was calling her an old lady.

"You ever get the feeling that someone is talking about you?" Ursula asked the two.

Back with the group, they planned their next move. But Ace bolted out of Rex's arms and ran for it.

"Ace! Come back!" Rex said. "I'll help look for the other dinosaur, after I get Ace back!"

"Let's split up. Two of us will go with Max, Rex and Zoe each." Sunset said.

Rainbow and Pinkie went with Rex, Fluttershy and rarity with Zoe and Sunset and Sonata with Max.

"Dad, see if you, Aj and Razor can figure out how to lure the Saichania out!" Max said.

"Got any bright ideas then, doc?" Aj asked.

"Well, Saichania live near water...and the other type of animal that lives near water...are hippos." Spike said.

"Hippos? Ya Really think it'll bait into a basket of food?" AJ asked.

"I think it would, and Razor would probably think the same thing." Spike said, with Razor roaring a little in agreement.

Max bolted down the path with his group as Chomp took a left turn into another area, then following thinking he found where she was. Part of the museum was dark, so he had his lights on.

"You think this is where the Saichania might be?" Sonata asked.

"I would think so. Hey, that looks like it." Max said noticing a sculpture, not knowing it was the actual thing. "Or, is this a fake? It looks real?"

Tank, which was the name the Alpha Gang gang her later on, stood perfectly still.

"It kinda does look like the real deal." Sunet said.

They then were distracted by Chomp rubbing against one of the triceratops sculptures.

"Aw. You missing your family, Chomp?" Max asked. Chomp grunted in response. "Well, the D-Team is your family now, and we'll have a lot of awesome adventures."

"I think I have something that might help Chomp." Sonata took out Iry's card and loaded it into her D-shot. Instead of rolling the wheel the way they would normally do it, she spun it in reverse. Pulling the trigger, she shot the card out, and it made a baby version of the Irritator.

"I don't see how Iry might help. She's a carnivore." Max said.

"True, but I think Chomp would love some dino company. Besides, I haven't let her out in a while." Sonata said. Iry walked over to Chomp and licked his cheek, making him slightly feel better.

"Well, it did work. Now let's go look for that Saichania." Max said as the group headed on.

Meanwhile, Rex, Pinkie and Rainbow continued to chase Ace through the halls.

"Ace! Come back here!" Rainbow said.

"Yeah, Rex really didn't mean to yell at you! Did he?" Pinkie asked.

"Ace! What's the matter with you!?" Rex called out.

Running too quickly, the three collided with Zander and Ed, causing them to fall.

"OW!" Rainbow said. "You may be the bad guys here, but would it kill you to watch where you're going?!" Rainbow snapped.

"We could ask you the same thing!" Zander snapped back.

"If you kids are here looking for the Saichania and Gastonia, you can forget it!" Ed said.

"That's strange, we already met Razor, he's with AJ right now." Rainbow said.

"And besides, we have a more bigger mess to take care of than you two right now!" Rex said as he continued to chase Ace.

"Um… what he said!" Pinkie said as they ran off.

"I'll have you know, there is no bigger mess than us!" Zander shouted, until Tank broke the wall near them and retreated.

In another part of the museum, Ursula was looking through the ancient jewelry and bags.

"Wow! This jewelry is absolutely gorgeous! I haven't seen anything quite so stunning, unless of course it was hanging around my neck and dropping down my ears!" She laughed not noticing Tank walking by her.

"Ace! Hold on, pal!" Rex called out.

Ace hid behind some artifacts.

"Don't be scared ace, Rex just wants to talk…" Rainbow said. "Oh who am I kidding, fluttershys the one good for this kinda thing."

"Ace, please." Rex pleaded.

Meanwhile with Zoe's group…

"This place is simply just too big. It feels like we're running in circles." Rarity said.

Zoe noticed Paris not with her, and she saw her eating some of the plants in the pots. "No, Paris don't eat that!"

Paris was startled by her raise in voice and hid behind the pots.

"Oh gosh!" Fluttershy said attending to paris. "There there, it's okay. She didn't mean it."

Paris cooed a bit.

"Zoe, you and Rex really have to watch it with Paris and Ace. They come from a long while back, so this is really new to them being raised by us." Fluttershy said.

"Oh, now I understand how Ace must feel." Zoe said. Not knowing, Ed and Zander spotted them.

"Look, it's the girl. Bring out Spiny." Ed said.

"You got it. One Spinosaurus, coming right up!" Zander smirked and slashed the card on the device. "Go….Spinosaurus!"

In a burst of water bubbles, a small shadowed spiny spiraled into the air. Water gushed around his legs and moving to his spine sail on his back. With the transformation completes, Spiny roared as water burst everywhere.

"Eek! Its that Spinosaurus!" Fluttershy said.

"Cmon, let's get outta here!" Zoe said as they ran with Spiny chasing them. Soon enough, they came to a locked door.

"It won't open!" Fluttershy said.

"We have no choice then. Zoe, Paris has to fight." rarity said.

"Right!" She called Paris's card. "Go!" She showed the card and swiped it. "DINO-SLASH!" Like before, green energy of leaves exploded out. Paris was in her full size soon enough as she bellowed at full strength, landing to face spiny.

"Looks like we got them trapped, huh Zander?" Ed smirked.

"Which gives us the unfair advantage, and that's how I like to play it." Zander chuckled.

Paris then had an idea. Knowing she wouldn't last long as a herbivore, she used her crest and bellowed a powerful sound.

"My ears!" Zander said.

"That's right, the Parasaurolophus was known to make communication calls if they're in danger." Fluttershy said.

Chomp and Iry heard it and moved to the sound.

"Chomp, wait up!" Max called.

"Iry, slow down!" Sonata said as they ran for them.

Ace also heard the sound, but was more concerned as to what was behind Rex.

"Ace, what's wrong?" Rex asked.

"Uh, Rex?" Rainbow said turning around. "Don't look now...but we have to move!"

Ace quickly headbutted Rex and a massive foot came down, just missing them. The group looked up to see Terry at full size.

"It's that T-rex again!" Pinkie said. At that, Ursula came out of hiding.

"Not you again!" Rainbow said in anger.

"Is that some sorta old creepy mummy?" Rex asked.

"Excuse, did you say old!?" Ursula snapped while tearing the bandages off. "I am not old! I may be creepy, but not old! Well, anyway it was fun while it lasted, but now I have bigger things to do, such as taking your Carnotaurus." She sneered smirking.

"Battle time, Rex!" Rainbow said.

"Right!" He pressed a button on his holder and called Ace's card. "DINO-SLASH!" Wind gusted and Ace roared in his arrival in his full grown state.

Ursula laughed. "You think your little Carnotaurus can beat my big bad T-Rex?" She taunted.

Ace roared and ran around Terry in hope to confuse him. However, he saw through his plan and swatted him to the wall.

"Ace! Watch out!" Rex called.

Too late, as Terry started bashing him with his foot.

"At this rate, Ace won't last!" Pinkie said.

"It's gonna take a Miracle to save him now!" Rainbow said.

"Someone call for backup?" AJ said as she arrived with spike carrying a ton of food, which terry immediately stopped to notice.

"So we meet again, T-Rex!" Spike smirked at the predator.

"Are you kidding? My T-rex doesn't want your fruit basket. Hate to break it to you, he's a carnivore." Ursula said.

"Then it's a good thing this is for the Saichania. Figured a little hippo food would draw him out." Spike said.

"Now I know you're joking, you can't possibly lore my Tank out with that. Yes, that's right, I named her Tank, and she's already mine. Eh...what are we talking about again?"

"Evening out the playing field!" Aj smirked. "Go get'em, Razor!" Out of the bloom, the Gastonia came out of nowhere and bashed Terry back, allowing Ace to recover and stand back up.

"The Gastonia?!" Ursula said.

"Fan-tastic." Rainbow said looking at terry who was recovering. "Now kick that t-rex's butt!"

"Well, this my lucky day." Ursula smirked. "Not only will I get that Carnotaurus, I will also be taking that Gastonia."

"You really think so? Come and take em!" AJ said.

Meanwhile, Spiny was slapping Paris with his tail, but that only allowed Paris to ram him in the head of her crest.

"What are you waiting for, Zander!? Use a move card!" Ed said.

"On it." He pulled out a move card and swiped it. "Use Shockwave, Spiny! Go!" A vortex of water slowly moved up to Spiny's body and it was covering him. At powerful roar, the water exploded and covered Paris in it, making the herbivore roar in pain.

"Hang on, Paris!" Zoe called. The two laughed, not noticing Max's group from behind.

"Zoey!" Max called. Ed and Zander froze when they arrived.

"Thank goodness! I could really use your help, guys!" Zoe smiled.

"We got this, Zoe! Sonata, ready!?" Max asked.

"Let's do it!" Sonata said as they pressed a few buttons and called their cards.

First, max readied his own card. "DINO-SLASH!" He swiped the card and electricity burst everywhere. "Go, Triceratops!" Chomp hopped out and spun in the air, and lightning burst out of his body and he roared, reaching full size.

"Ready!" Sonata said whirling around with her card and opening the mouth of her shot. She inserted the card and closed the jaw, spinning the blaster to a good position. "Energize!" she said spinning the disc, causing water to swirl around her and her Shot glowing blue. "Unleash the Power!" She shot the card out, making it glow. Iry jumped a few times and shaking the water off her, and she roared, announcing her arrival.

Chomp and Iry charged in and slammed Spiny down onto the floor.

"Get up, get up!" Zander and Ed said.

"Lets finish this together! Go, electric Charge!" Max said.

"Water Whip!" Sonata called as the two activated their move cards. Chomp was covered in lightning again and Iry had her tail covered in water, creating a water whip.

"Not good!" Ed said.

Iry grabbed Spiny and tossed him to Chomp, which sealed the deal.

"Get up!" Zander and Ed said, but to no avail as Spiny turned back into his card.

"That's it?" Zander asked while picking up the card.

"That's your cue to run." Sunset said.

"Gotta go!" Zander shouted as the two bolted, and the dinos were back into their cards.

"Are you guys alright?" Sonata asked.

"We're fine, but there another battle going on." Zoe said.

"It might be AJ or Rex. Let's move!" Max said as they ran for where the battle was going on.

"Cyclone!" Rex said as ace slammed into Terry with a wall of wind.

"Not bad. But i think it's time to show you what I have." Ursulas said. "Terry... also has a move card of his own!" She laughed, showing a move card to them.

"Not good!" Rex said.

"Show em, Terry! Volcano Burst!" Ursulas said.

Fire formed in terry's mouth as he slammed it down and engulfed Ace in flames, turning him back into a card. Razor was next. Not running away, he took the full force of it.

"Hah! That Gastonia's…!" Ursula said before seeing Razer completely good. Not one burn was on him. "Toast?!"

"He survived it?!" Rex asked in shock.

"Look, on his back!" Spike said. They saw bits of Earth covering most of the back of the beast.

"Earth Barrier!? No one told me that Gastonia had a move card too!" Ursula said. "Well, no matter! I still got the Carnotaurus!" She ran for Ace's card.

"Not gonna happen!" Aj said whipping her rope out and lassoing her hands.

"Hey!" Ursula said as spike grabbed the card with his own whip.

"Got it!" Rex said getting Ace's card.

"Sorry, but it takes only two ta tango in this showdown, partner." AJ said as she pulled on her rope.

"Terry, help!" Ursula said.

Terry roared and faced the others before Razor jumped in front. They were about to square off, but then Tank dashed in outta nowhere and bashed the two out of the way and started eating the basket Spike had.

"Now that's what I call timing." Spike said as Tank started eating. "Enjoy your snack, Saichania."

"Get her, Terry!" Ursula shouted as terry charged, but only to be blocked by Razor again.

"Sorry, but Ah'm afraid Tank is out eating right now." Aj said as she kept her grip on the rope.

This didn't stop terry. He was exhausted from the move, but had enough energy to leap over to tank and bash her back into her card.

"I'll take that, thank you!" Spike said launching his whip but ended up grabbing onto Terry instead.

"Rex, get the card!" Aj said, while keeping her gip.

"Got it!" Rex said and ran for Tank's card.

"Too slow, brat!" Zander said as he launched a claw and caught it first.

"Dad!" Max said as the others came up.

"Ursula, spiny lost!" Ed said.

"That doesn't matter, so long as we have this." Ursula said getting the rope off her and taking tank. "Now, lets finish this mission and get that Gastonia."

However, Terry was breathing heavily, as he exerted himself too much.

"Razor, here's yer chance, take it!" Aj called. Razor charged and bashed Terry, sending him flying and crashing near the Alpha Gang and turning back into a card.

"That all ya got, partner?" Aj smirked.

"I guess we should report back to Dr. Z now." Zander said as he picked up Terry's card.

"Yes, and on that note.." Ursula said.

"See ya!" All three said as they dashed away.

"That's it! Keep running!" Rainbow called.

"Thank ya, Razor." Aj thanked, while the herbivore licked her cheek, making her giggle.

"How's Ace?" Pinkie asked Rex. Rex swiped the card and summoned Ace in his small form.

"You oka...hey!" Rainbow said as Ace ducked behind Zoe.

"I don't know what's wrong with him anymore." Rex said.

"I know what. I learned something a little bit back." Zoe said. "The times you scowled at him today, all Ace was doing was trying to fix it, so you won't be mad at him anymore."

"In other words, he was only trying to make you happy." Sunset added.

"And all I did was telling him he made it worse." Rex said, now understanding. He frowned and kneeled to Ace and hugged him. "I'm so sorry, Ace. I never should have yelled at you like that. Your friendship is more to me than that book." Ace licked his cheek, accepting his apology.

"Well, we got the other dino, right?" Max asked.

"Yeah, but I really wanted the Saichania." Spike said sadly.

"We got the next best thing. A Gastonia named Razor." Sonata said, while Razor nuzzled Aj's cheek.

"I also want to know why the Alpha Gang is out collecting Dinosaurs." Max said.

At Zeta Point, the three returned with only Tank. As happy Z was with getting a new card, he was also pissed that the D-Team has one as well, when they were supposed to come back with both.

"We may have not gotten the Gastonia, but at least we have the Saichania." Z said as he pulled the card out of a machine. "I used the machine to change this dinosaurs personality, so she'll be more aggressive." Z swiped the card from the earth stone device and revealed a baby version of Saichania.

"I don't know. She still looks tamed to me." Ed said, As those words came out. Tank faced the three and growled. She charged at them as they ran to avoid getting bitten and so forth.

"Change her back!" Zander shouted.

"Turn her off!" Ursula shouted.

Soon enough, she had Dr z on her back.

"Ouch! Get me off her!" He shouted.
