Chapter 12: Alpha Zeta point!

At the Taylor household, Spiny, who was now a member of the D-team was getting used to being around the others. Meeting all of them and becoming part of the team made him feel slightly better, seeing to how much they wanted him to play and so forth, not like what the Alpha gang did for him.

"I'm still surprised that Spiny actually joined us now." Sunset said in slight surprise.

"I know, but with him with us, we have a better chance to save the dinosaurs now." Rainbow said.

"You know, Spiny's acting more friendly when he joined us. Look at him." Zoe said as Spiny was chasing Ace and Chomp around playfully.

"Looks like he's having a blast." Max said smiling.

"I hope Terry and Tank get the same Idea, though Terry seems close to them almost and Tanks very aggressive." Rex said.

"I'm sure they'll come around eventually." Rainbow said.

(zooming up on a body of water, the D-Team is seen. The guitars kick in and Pterosaurs flew near the D-team and flew into the blue skies. They then flew past the Humane six and Sonata as the prehistoric era was seen)

Chilling out with the crew in the schoolyard

(Max is seen, running along side his baby version of a baby Triceratops.)

Finding trouble, never working too hard

(Rex is seen next, running with a baby Carnotaurus.)

(The humane six, Sonata and the D-Team join up as the three dinos glowed)

(Max takes out a card with an adult Triceratops and sweeps it along a handheld device.)

We'll take them all together!

(Rex and Zoe follow suite and swipe their cards as well.)

(Both groups stand together with the three dinos at full strength with the dinos roaring.)

(Chomp and Max stand side by side as Chomp charges in.)

(Rex draws a new card as Ace stands ready for battle.)

(Zoe and Paris are right behind them as Zoe performs one of her unique moves when using her own move cards.)

You'll make the grade and win this fight!

(Sonata runs with a card in her hand, while being chased by a T-rex and tosses the card to Rex, who swipes it. A guitar solo then comes out as multiple dinos from the different elements ready their own signature moves. Among them are Terry, Spiny and Tank, tackling the Alpha gang and Terry biting Dr. Z's beard.)

(As all of the dinos begin fighting, on yeah, Max and Sunset give each other a high five. Then all of them are shown.)

(Chomp, Ace, Paris, even Terry, Spiny and Tank in their full forms dash around one another, fighting for what's at stake on both sides!)

(All three raise their cards into the air as the title shows, Terry's roar shaking it up just like in the original opening.)

Things were not going well at Zeta Point. After the news of losing Spiny, and knowing that he has joined the D-Team, Dr. Z was mad. No, he wasn't mad, he was furious. He was scowling and screaming at the three that lost him, and some of the move cards that Spiny took when he joined them. At the time after his rage, cards spilled all over the place, and as helga was vacuuming, the wind brought a card to life, and it was Ceratosaurus.

"And don't you loose Terry and Tank or else I'll…!" Dr. Z said before seeing Cerato and hearing him roar. "Gah! Where'd he come from?!"

"You spilled the cards on the floor, we were going to tell you." Ursula said quietly.

Meanwhile…

"A dinosaur smack in the middle of the Pacific?" Sunset asked.

Spiny however, was growling at the location, like he knew what that area was.

"Wait, if Spiny knows that place then that must be where those Alpha Gang guys base is!" Rainbow siad,

"Which means this is our chance to also recover the cards they stole, and Lance too." Rarity said.

"Let's move!" Max said and they all got into the teleporter.

"Wait, stop!" Reese called, but it was too late as they teleported.

At Zeta point, Dr. Z was pacing around the room, collecting the cards that spilled and sending the three to beat the living out of the Ceratosaurus that was freed. He was still furious that Spiny was gone. With that their dinosaur numbers have decreased.

"GRRR! What am I gonna do!? How am I supposed to replace Spiny!?" He screamed angrily.

"Doctor."

"WHAT!?" Z shouted until he noticed it was Seth. "Oh, Seth my boy. I apologize for my shouting. How's the repairs for the time machine coming along?" He asked more calm.

"Apparently, without the parts we need, it's impossible to get it running again. Rod however made a suggestion on the machine, allowing us to teleport to the dinosaurs location when one pops up." He explains.

"Well, that's one piece of good news i've heard all day." Z mumbled.

"Also, I've prepared for the scenario of one of our dinosaurs going rouge. You didn't have to scold them, not when I made these." Seth said, showing some new cards, and even one that looked like Spiny, but the scale color was different.

"Artificial cards? Perfect! If Terry and Tank dessert, it won't matter because we will already have replacements. If I knew you did this, Seth, I wouldn't have had to lose my temper upon those dimwits." Dr. Z said.

"There'll be time to revoke later, Doctor." Seth said. "Looks like you have intruders."

Dr. Z looked towards the screen and saw the kids coming to the Cerato as it was being thrashed around. "Wha? How did they get here and know about this place?!"

"You don't need to ask that when Spiny is already with them, do you?" Seth asked, seeing the little spinosaurus with them.

"You're right, I didn't. But now is the time for action! Scramble the Alpha-Drones!" He commanded.

Back with the group, they looked around to see them on the island, while Spiny was growing cautious.

"Yeah, hes right to be so. This is his old home. I bet the Gang won't be happy see him on our side." Rainbow said.

"Not only that, it seems a battle is going on." Rex said. They heard a roar from a distance and ran for it. They saw the Ceratosaurus, who was looking exhausted, while he was facing off against Terry and Tank.

Terry charged in and started swatting the poor wind dinosaur with his tail, making the cerato roar in pain and fly to the ground by impact.

"Terry is beating the living out of that Ceratosaurus." Max said.

"Look, over there." Rex said and they saw the three and even Rod and Laura with them, with a few Alpha-Drones.

"They have kids with them?" Zoe asked as she used her pink shades to get a better look at them.

Ursula swiped Neck Crusher and Terry charged in and threw the Cerato in the air and bashed him with his tail. The predator flew into the air and landed near the group, glowing and turning back into a card.

"I got it." Rex said as he picked up the ceratosaurus card.

"Man, I've never seen such brutal fighting before." Sunset said, shocked to see the Alpha gang beating the crap out of the dinosaur.

At that, they were spotted.

"Ah! It's the brats!" Zander shouted.

"Uh oh!" Pinkie said.

"Run!" Rex shouted as they all ran.

"Grrr! Terry, get them!" Ursula shouted.

The Tyrannosaurus roared and chased the group.

Rarity looked behind her and saw terry getting closer. "Eeek! He's getting closer!"

"Look, up ahead!" Zoe pointed out and saw a pipe near them. Spiny lead and jumped into it.

"Into the pipe, quickly!" Rex said as they all dove right in. At the last person to get in, terry destroyed the pipe and missed his chance. He roared lightly, while rubbing his nose in pain.

The group all screamed as the fell deeper into the pipe. They finally made it out and into a hallway.

"Oww." Max moaned lightly, rubbing his back while he got up.

"Everyone here and accounted?" Sunset asked. They all called out in agreement.

"Where did we land?" Zoe asked.

"I think we landed in their secret headquarters." Rainbow said. The group then heard the sound of Alpha Drones coming from above. They were coming.

"We gotta move." Sunset said. They all ran, and they saw Spiny clawing a door.

"Through their!" Rex said. Max tried to pull it open, but it didn't budge. "Max, hurry up!"

"I can't get it open!" Max said.

"Maybe you need a password, or something." Zoe suggested.

"Oh oh oh, I know! Open sesame!" Pinkie chirped.

Nothing happen.

"Yeah, like they would use something like that." Rainbow said. At that, the door opened.

"Huh!?" the group all gasped.

"It worked!" Pinkie chirped in delight.

"Unbelieveable." Rex muttered. The drones all fell out of the pipe and ran to them.

"Go go go!" Sunset called as they ran, and the door shut behind them.

"Hope they don't know the password!" Max said.

"Yeah, they don't seem like that." Rainbow said.

"Maybe, but they'll be after us again. We have to find a way to get off this island." Zoe said.

"Not until we get the cards the Alpha gang stole." Rainbow said.

"They may have brainwashed Lance already. If it comes to that, we have to fight him." Rarity said.

"What about Ceratosaurus?" Sonata asked.

"He's fine, I scooped him up. Doesn't seem they brainwashed him yet." Rex said.

"We need to know where the cards are." Aj said.

"Spiny knows the area better than we do, so I think he might know. Spiny, you know where the cards are they hide?" Rainbow asked.

Spiny replied, as a maybe, and they all ran deeper into the halls. As they turned a corner, they heard more drones coming. In fact they were coming in every direction.

"They're coming from every direction." Sonata said.

Spiny found a vent and scratched it and called to the group.

"Spiny found a place where we can hide." Zoe said. Rainbow opened the vent and it lead to a janitor room.

"Oh yeah, stick a bunch of us in a janitor closet. Cause THAT'S a good idea." Rainbow said.

"Got any better idea to where we can hide?" Rex asked. "Besides, Spiny's our only chance to get us out of this mess." He kneeled and crawled into the room. The group followed, as Rainbow closed the vent.

They all quietly stayed in place as they heard the Alpha Gang and the robots passing through. Tank who was on the outside, was scratching the vent, seeming she was sensing something.

Fluttershy whimpered, as Sunset calmed her down, shushing her quietly. Tank growled and barked, until she ran to catch up with the others. When they were gone, they all sighed in relief.

"Whew. Now let's find those cards and get outta here." Rainbow whispered.

"I have to report to my dad first." Max said and connected to the D-Lab, where Spike immediately picked up.

"What!? You're where!? At the Alpha Gang's Headquarters!?" Spike gasped in shock.

"We're ok, though. We'll get back home as soon as we complete our mission." Max said to his father.

"What!? Absolutely not! It's way too dangerous! Come home now!" Spike snapped, but their communication was cancelled out.

"Shoot, lost signal." Max said.

"They must be jamming us." Sunset said.

"Ah, Max, turn off your holder. They might be tracking our location." Rex quickly said.

At that, Max quickly turned it off, making sure they don't find them. Spiny sniffed the vent and sensed nothing. He responded to the group.

"Spiny doesn't smell anything for the moment. Let's move while we can." Rainbow said as they quietly exit the room and back into the halls. They quietly moved through the halls as Zoe peeked around the corner.

"Stay alert, you dont know what kinda tricks they'll be planning." Aj said.

"Yeah, and we don't wanna run into those two guys and that old lady-" Zoe said before Rainbow and Sunset quickly slapped her mouth closed, but it was too late as those came out already. Immediately, the ground shook, and they Ursula running to them at full sprint, eyes glowing red with rage.

"I HEARD THAT YOU LITTLE ANKLE BITERS! WHO DO YOU THINK YOU'RE CALLING OLD!?" Ursula roared with a demonic voice mixed in her raging voice.

"She found us, run!" Max shouted as they ran. The group saw a door up ahead.

"Quick, this way!" Rex called and they all ran in and blocked the door with janitor equipment. The door was then being bashed with forced by the enraged woman.

"Open up, you little monsters!" She roared.

"Man, that was way too close for comfort." Max said.

"Smooth, Zoe." Rainbow said.

"Sorry guys. I need to be careful to what I say from now on. I'll try not to use the world old lady-"

Ursula bashed on the door harder, making them wince. "When I get my hands on you all, I'll make you all regret being born!"

"Seriously, stop saying that!" Rainbow said.

"Okay, new rule. We are not to say the two words that piss that woman off." Sunset said. "And that includes all variants of that."

"Look, there's a slide. Let's use it." Rex said pointing at the slide near them.

They slid down the slides as they continued onward. They finally stopped in a room, it was kinda quiet for the moment.

"Doesn't look like anyone's here." Max said.

"Huh, is someone there?" A voice called out. The group turned to see a cage, and a man was inside it. He wore explorer gear and a vest and looked awfully like an actor the girls have seen.

"A prisoner? Wait, do we know you?" Zoe asked.

"Well, you should. Ever hear of the park called Jurassic World?" He asked.

Rainbow then gasped. "No way, you're Chris Pratt, the actor of Owen Grady from Jurassic World!" Rainbow squealed.

"Wait, acting me? Miss, I'm the real deal." Owen said.

"Prove it." Rainbow said loading her shot up and without warning summoning Whirlwind in full form who ripped the cage door off.

"A raptor, really? You think sicking a raptor on me will scare me? Please, I handled four velociraptors at the park." Owen said.

"He doesn't sound like he's acting." Rex said. "So you're saying you're the real former Navy soldier who trained four restored velociraptors, named Delta, Charlie, Echo and Blue?"

"Yep. Still need proof?" Owen asked as he approached Whirlwind, who snapped at him in intimidation. "Easy there, boy. It's alright." Slowly moving a hand up, and carefully, Whirlwind immediately started to relax in his touch and slowly purred.

"Yup, he's the real deal." Sunset said.

"This is so cool! I'm actually meet the Real Owen Grady!" Max said in excitement.

"Might wanna save the autographs fer later, we have somethin bigger ta worry about, like getting outta here?" Aj asked.

"Aj's right, Max. We need to find the cards and get back home." Rex said.

"Do they have something to do with those baby dinos?" Owen asked.

"How do you know they're dinos and not weird dogs?" Pinkei asked.

"Miss, I can easily tell these aren't dogs. Look, anyone who works with dinos knows that's a Triceratops, seeing as we use them as rides for the kids." Owen said.

"Well, he has been in a park with dinosaurs. So, he would know the different between dogs and dinos." Rainbow said.

"Tell me about it. I was out for a stroll at one of the refugee shelters after the incident, when suddenly, this big machine came out of nowhere and those robots grabbed me and dragged me into it. I didn't know what they wanted with me, but after hearing about dinosaurs and cards, I believe they needed me for something like that." Owen explained.

"Well you're the raptor Expert, maybe they needed you for Raptors like Whirlwind." Rainbow said.

"Yeah, the old guy said something about that. He said the raptors were Wind types, or something." Owen said.

Suddenly, a sound was generating from the room, and even catching Paris's attention.

"Y'hear that?" Rainbow said.

Paris immediately jumped out of Zoes arms.

"Paris, where are you going?!" Zoe asked.

"She can't help it, those jerks are broadcasting her native kinds calls." Owen said.

"Paris, come back!" Zoe shouted as she ran for her.

"We gotta stop Paris before she lures Zoe into a trap!" Sunset said.

"Good thinking." Rainbow said. "Mr Grady, it'd be best if you find a way back, I don't think…"

"Oh no, if this sorta thing is serious and you kids are handling it, I want in." Owen said.

"We have no time to argue. He can join us, but we need to go, now!" Rex said as they all ran for Zoe and Paris.

Soon enough, the group found themselves in a small hall, with many doors around them.

"Which way did they go!?" Max asked.

"The sound is generating from every direction!" Sonata said. "I can't tell where the source is!"

Suddenly, another roar came from one of the other doors. It was one that Rarity and Chomp were familiar with.

"What was that!?" Aj asked.

"That sounded like a dinosaur cry!" Max said.

"That was Lance!" Rarity said as she and Chomp ran for one of the doors where the sound came from.

"Rarity, wait! Chomp, hold on!" Max called as he ran after them.

"I'm guessing that's the sound of the Styracosaurus they said they brainwashed." Owen said.

"Ah! They already brainwashed him!?" Rex asked. "Rarity, Max, come back! You two are heading for a trap!"

"Heeeelp!" They heard Zoe's scream.

"Come on!" Owen said as the group ran for the screams.

In another room, Zoe was corner by Tank, who was holding her ground. The sound that was being generated, was coming from Rod, with sound speakers.

"I broadcasted the sound of a Parasaurolophus calling one of its own and it came." Rod said smiling.

"What a brilliant Idea, Rod! Hah, excellent work!" Z laughed.

Zoe got up from the ground and tried to run, but Tank blocked her path again, with the door shut.

"This is gonna be tough, but…" Zoe said.

Ramming on the door and busing it down was Blaze full sized as the others ame in.

"Mind if we crash this party?" Sunset asked.

"What the…?!" Rod said.

"Hey, doc! Thanks for the cage you put me in." Owen said.

"GAH! Those brats busted him out!" Z shouted.

"You're outnumbered, old man! Give up!" Rainbow shouted.

"GRRRR! How dare you call me old! Show your elders some respect, you little brat!" Z snapped at her.

"Now, hand over the cards!" Rex said.

"Oh, you mean the one such as.. This one?!" Z asked as Lance smacked Max to the ground on landing and roaring.

"I was right! They did brainwash that Styracosaurus!" Owen said.

"Look like we have to fight!" Rainbow said, pulling a card out. "Hey, Doc! An old friends wants to get some payback for what you did to him!" She loaded the card in. "Energize!" Water spun around her. "Unleash the power!" The card shot out and Spiny appeared, full size, roaring.

"You picked the wrong day to mess with us, Doc. Hand over the cards these kids are looking for if you don't want your former Spinosaurus to pulverize you." Owen said.

The group was caught off when Dr. Z started laughing. "You fools believe I would surrender, just because Spiny betrayed me!? Than you are sorely mistaken! Once I take your cards, I'll make sure to have Spiny severely punished for betraying me!"

"And how do you plan on doing that!?" Rainbow shouted.

"With this!" Z shouted and he took a card out and slashed it. "Go, Alpha Spinosaurus!" A Spinosaurus bursted out in red water. His scales were dark crimson and his underbelly ebony black, and his eyes were crimson red, holding no emotions whatsoever, only the reponse to obey his master. The Alpha Spinosaurus roared loudly as he landed and faced off against Spiny.

Soon enough, even Ace and the others were out, but they were fighting a losing battle as Zoe was beat. Before Rex could even the odds, the Alpha Droids had her hostage.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you, unless you prefer your friend to get hurt of course." Dr. Z sneered.

Rex growled angrily, but not paying attention, Lance charged in and bashed Ace in the stomach multiple times, making him grow weak. It was then all of them were captured in seconds.

"Now what do we do?" Max thought as Dr. Z laughed in victory. Their cards fell to the ground as each of the members collected them and handed them to Dr. Z.

"Here you go Grandpa." Lauren said, handing him Ace's card.

"Hehehe! Yes, my dinosaur cards have finally come back to me." Z sneered with a smirk.

"They aren't yours, none of em are!" Max said.

"Oh, but they are. They were mine from the very beginning." Z explained. "And I will use them to perfect my dinosaur kingdom, and you Mr. Grady, will help train the raptors we captured. That's why I sought you out."

"Look Doc, take it from me. I've seen what kinda situation this kinda plan gets you into. The raptors are not animals you can control." Owen said.

"It's a relationship, based on respect." Rainbow said. "That's how he was able to make those four obey him, they thought he was the Alpha of the Pack."

"Exactly. Dinosaurs are not slaves, they have feelings, minds of their own, to what I've seen from them here and now. I will never help you control them. Never." Owen stated firmly.

"Well, then...huh?" Z said as Rex held Ceratosaurus next to his fang necklace. "Ah! Thats mine!"

Rex's fang glowed. "The Ceratosaurus you were beating up before is now mine! Let's go!" He swiped the card and summoned the Cerato, who has made a full recovery from his abusive battle.

"Go, Ceratosaurus! Pay them back for what they did to you, now!" Rex called.

Cerato rampaged and chased the whole Alpha gang all around, confusing the bots in the chaos.

"Guys, Let's go!" Rex called.

"Right!" Max did a back flip kick to the robot's face, while he was tied. Rex and Max ran to Zoe and the two spin kicked the robots, freeing her.

Rainbow and AJ kicked them as well, destroying the others and freeing the others.

"Need some help, owen?" Max asked.

"Nah, I'm good!" Owen replied, as he jumped around a drone and punched through it, and did a sweep kick from below another drone.

"That new guy's a badass…" Max said.

"I get that a lot." Owen replied, dusting his shirt.

"Quick, let's get outta here!" Rex called as they ran for an elevator.

"Alpha-Droids, catch those brats and that hunk of a man!" Ursula called, as she and the others were still being chased by the Cerato.

The group made it to the elevator as Rex opened it and they quickly went inside. The door shut just in time, before the Drones could get them.

"Man, that was a close one." Zoe sighed in relief.

"We still gotta get our cards back. No way I'm letting them keep Chomp." Max said as Owen worked on untying him.

"Well, we don't know how to get to them, this place is like a maze." Sunset said.

"And Spiny was our only guide to help us get around this place." Rainbow points out.

"Don't worry. We'll get them back. I know we will." Owen said as he got Zoe's rope off her wrists.

The elevator door opened and the group saw a massive machine being rebuilt with some different Alpha Drones.

"Woah, what kind of place is this?" Max asked in surprise.

"Must bee what's under this place." Sunset guessed as they saw a man up above. "Oh shoot, hide!"

Seth who was working on the machine, saw the group and narrowed his eyes, before he looked away and returned to his work, not before he pressed a button on his controller, commanding the drones.

"Think he spotted us?" Zoe asked, and she got her question, as the drones called 'Intruder', with their eyes blinking.

"Run." Fluttershy said.

"Good plan." Aj agreed as they ran back to the elevator and missed the drones once again.

"Look like we're going up." Zoe said.

"Hopefully it will be better." Max hoped.

"Depends on what will be waiting for us when the door opens." Rex notes to the group.

The elevator stopped and the door opened. At the door was Helga. The D-Team yelped in surprise by the appearance of this woman.

Owen quickly took action and grabbed what girls he could and hid in the far corner of the elevator before Hegla noticed and grabbed the rest, dragging them off to who knows where. Owen had only time to grab Rarity, Pinkie and Aj.

"That was a close one." Owen said.

"Foreshame. That is not away to grab a lady." Rarity said, straightening her shirt.

"Who was that lady?" Pinkie asked.

"Helga, the Alpha gang's personal Housemaid. She comes by when I was in the cage, giving me food and cleaning the area. She can be very stern when it comes to keeping the place clean and so forth." Owen explained.

"So why did she grab the others? Wait, there were those two kids when we saw the other members…Rod and Laura if i'm not mistaken." Aj said.

"Yeah, and she's responsible for making sure they study. Helga must've taken the others to the study room because she thought Max and the others are visiting for the moment." Owen said.

Meanwhile with the others, they were trying to get outta her grip, but for someone who cleans around, she has one hell of a grip.

"Let go! What are you doing!?" Max asked.

"You're stretching out my sweater!" Zoe complained.

"You children have some learning to do!" Helga snapped.

"What's that mean!?" Rex asked.

"Look at that." Rod said as the kids were above them. "You may have dodged the alpha droids, but you guys can't get outta Helga's grip."

"Good luck guys." Laura giggled.

"Since you two have nothing better to do, come down here and I'll you something funny!" The housemaid snapped at the two.

"Oh, burn." Rainbow snickered.

"Hmm." Helga hummed looking at some of the human six she caught. "I see I have caught some high-schoolers with these three children. No matter."

She brought them to a room, which had some computers around. "Time for you all to study!" She snapped as she pushed the kids and high-schoolers in.

"Wait, what? Why us?" Rainbow asked.

"I did my homework last night." Rex said.

"Why do you want us to study?" Zoe asked.

"Be quiet." Helga said as she brought Rainbow and Max to the computers and made them sit down. "Children and High-schoolers need to study!"

"Okay, that I get but…" Sunset said looking at the monitor. "Whoa, haven't seen this in awhile."

"You actually know this stuff before you sat down?" Rod asked coming in with laura.

"I am one of the best brainers in my High school. Geometry was one of my strongest suits of course." The flame haired girl explained as she sat down next to Rex.

"Aw man, I can't understand any of this." Rainbow lightly whined.

"Join the club. This looks like gibberish to me." Max agreed.

"Hey, this looks kinda cool." Rex said.

"No way. You know this?" Max asked.

"Actually, no." Rex admitted.

Meanwhile, Dr. Z returned to the main room, holding the groups dinosaur cards and has Spiny in his other hand, who was trying to get out of his grasp.

"Those brats! Did they really think they can infiltrate my base and get away with it!?" He snapped and placed the cards on the table. "Well, no matter, because I have the last laugh, now that I have my cards back. Now, they won't bother the Alpha Gang anymore. Hehehe." He snickered until turning his attention to the struggling Spinosaurus in his other hand. "As for you, you scaley little traitor! You'll regret ever going behind my back!"

Dr. Z carried Spiny over to a wall, and chained his neck with a collar and put a muzzle on his snout, keeping him from biting. Spiny tried to get out, but the chains and muzzle kept him in place.

Meanwhile with Owens group, he finally managed to find himself some gear.

"Alright, now we're talkin." He said taking a knife and tranq rifle. He took some darts and loaded one into the rifle and placed the others on his belt.

"Whatcha need that for?" Aj asked.

"In case we run into any of the Alpha Gang's dinos, we can put them to sleep without harming them." Owen explained.

After collecting the gear, the team left the room and moved on ahead, until they heard grunting, annoyed and pleading growling.

"What's that sound?" Pinkie asked.

"That sounds like Spiny." Rarity said as she ran to the source.

The group entered the room, where Dr. Z was gone, and Spiny was left against the wall, trying hard to get free from his prison. He pulled hard, but he slipped and fell to the floor.

"Spiny!" Rarity called and ran to him. The young Spino looked up and growled happily to see his friends. Rarity took the chains and Muzzle off of him, and he jumped into her arms and licked her cheeks, in thanks.

"Are you alright, sweetie?" The fashionista asked.

Spiny growled in reply, happy she and the others were fine.

"The other cards are gone, Doc must've still have them on him." Owen said.

"We'll get them back. We have Spiny again." PInkie chirped, while petting the Spino, and he licked her cheek, making her giggle.

The group left the room and exited to the outside. Suddenly they saw Max and the others get out from Helga's prison, and Max was soaked.

"You found away out? How'd you guys do that?" Owen asked them.

"Lets just say Dr. Taylors job for Max on Janitor duty, and Max used his brain to break the toilet." Rex explained.

They made it topside with Rod and Laura following.

"Wow, this is new." Rod said.

"Never got out of studying, huh kids?" Owen asked.

"Yeah, normally Helga keeps us in that room, and there was no way for us to get out, until studying was over." Rod explained.

"But Max kept her distracted by breaking the toilet." Lauren piped in.

"Huh. Guess that toilet dudy really did pay off." Sunset said. "Though to be fair, she was gonna let me go early since I already did my part with studying."

"And I never saw anyone crunch that level of time to get it done. It normally takes me and Laura to get it done in at least an hour, but you got it done, in just 20 minutes." Rod said in amazement. "And that was riemannian Geometry we were all doing."

"I'm starting to think you're a bit more than you're letting on to us, Sunset." Max points out.

"Sorry. Like I said from before, I am one of the best brains in the school, while another individual is as smart as I am." Sunset explained, rubbing her head.

"So what your old man said is all true? He's gonna be the king of the dinosaurs, huh?" Owen asked.

"That's right. My grandpa always lived up to his dream." Rod nodded.

"You do realize he and the other gang members treat the dinosaurs wrong, don't they? No feelings at all, and Spiny knows that." Rainbow stated, while Spiny nodded.

"You're right, that is the truth." Rod said.

"So sad, but oh well." Laura smiled innocently.

"You mean you don't care if they abuse Spiny and the other dinosaurs!?" Rainbow snapped angrily.

"You don't care how heartless they are? They're asking for help because they want no part in his plan." Owen said.

"Besides, that old la-" Zoe said.

"DON'T SAY IT!" The group shouted quickly, covering her mouth.

"I mean...Ursula and the others treat them like they don't have feelings, and see them as nothing but tools." Zoe continued.

"Don't bother explaining it, Zoe." Own said. "They stick by him, and that means they're gang members too. Besides, you've been helping this whole time, haven't you?"

"Wow, you're pretty quick on your feet." Rod said impressed, as Alpha Droids suddenly surrounded the group.

"You were about to call me an old lady!" Ursula snapped angrily.

"I sent them our coordinates while we were talking." Rod explained, showing the scanner.

"You snakes!" Rainbow snapped angrily.

"They wanted to get close to you with helga and escape with you, so that they could help the others track us down and lead them right to us." Owen said.

"Once again, you're pretty smart on your feet." Rod said again.

"But you're too late, Mr. Grady! You're surrounded!" Dr. Z shouted through the scanner.

Just then, a hydro plane soared down and scraped the droids.

"Hang on kids, I'm here!" Spike called through the window.

"Dad?!" Max gasped in surprise.

Spike jumped out of the plane with a parachute, but it was upside down and he desperately tried to find the string to pull the parachute free. He found it and pulled it and it was free, but it did little help and he crashed into the trees.

"Hang on Dr. Taylor, I gotcha." Owen said cutting him loose as he got up.

"The world famous Owen Grady. I would say it's a pleasure to meet you in person, but you'd agree with me that now isn't the time." Spike said as the Alpha Gang got in front of them again.

"They still got their dinos on them and we only have Spiny. We can't take em all on. Any ideas?" Owen said.

"Yeah. This way, Dad!" Max shouted as the boy ran, and the others followed.

"Don't let them get away!" Z shouted from the scanner.

They chased them to the pipe and the good group fell down to where they were in the beginning.

"Open Sesame!" Max called and the door quickly opened. The group ran down the halls with Spiny leading them to the room where Z brainwashes the dinosaurs.

Meanwhile, Z was about to brainwash Chomp before Seth called.

"Talk to me, Seth." Z ordered.

"The engine is now partly functional." Seth reported.

"Ah, excellent! That's some of the best news I've heard all day. Get it started." Z exclaimed in excitement.

"Yes, Doctor. Over and out." Seth replied and the scanner was shut off.

"Hahaha! At last, the time machine can finally function again! Now to add in some new dinosaurs to my collection!" Z laughed and started the machine up. It started to slowly close, with Chomp's card defenseless to do anything, but wait. It ain't over, as Spike's whip snached Chomp up and brought it to him.

"Oh no ya dont! Those cards don't belong to you!" Spike stated.

"I've said it before, all the cards belong to me including those on the table…" Z said as Rex and Zoe grabbed them. "Oops, not good."

"Don't you know better than to leave cards around?" Rex taunted smirking.

"We'll take the Ceratosaurus too, if you don't mind Doc." Owen added as the group summoned their dinos in their small forms, happy to be reunited with them. Then the gang showed up.

"Okay, so you're good at escaping, I'll give you that. Dr. Z, we'll get rid of these pests for you." Ursula called to her leader.

"Go ahead and try." Rainbow smirked while the dinos growled at them.

"Doctor, your Lizard Soup is ready." Helga said suddenly appearing and grossing out the girls and the D-Team.

"Huh?" Owen said noticing Helga's apron. "All of the other cards, she's got em!"

Suddenly, an earthquake emerged from around the island. Tank curled up into a ball and bounced down as Max tried to grab them. He didn't look where he was going and tripped against Tank. Chomp jumped and ripped the apron pocket, spilling the cards from within. Before Z could get to them, Spike snached them up with his whip.

"Now we have all of the cards, let's find a way outta here!" Spike suggested and they all agreed and ran out of the room. They soon came topside to the point where Reese would land.

"Reese should be at this point." Spike said looking around.

"Is it just me, or is this place moving?" Rex asked as the Island was.

"That's what the rumble was about. Those machines were powering something. I've seen it myself, this whole place is artificial." Owen said.

"Who are these guys?" Rex asked before Terry and his gang appeared.

"You've escaped for the last time! Terry and his friends are gonna finish you off, here and now!" Ursula snapped.

"Its lance! Forgot all about him." Max said. "Makes things a lot harder."

"Owen, you might need to stand back and let the kids handle this one." Spike suggested. He nodded and the adults stepped back.

"Alright, let's see what these guys can do." Owen said.

"Prepare to be amazed. Ready, Chomp?" Max asked, as the little Tricera nodded. "Let's go!"

(Cue-Power Rangers Dino Charge Main Theme)

The D-Team called their cards and showed them. "DINO-SLASH!" They shouted and swiped the cards.

"Go, Triceratops, Roar!"

"Carnotaurus, blow them away!"

"Parasaurolophus, Bloom!" Ace, Chomp, and Paris were summoned and roared.

"It's go time!" Rainbow smirked as she called her cards. "Ready!?" She asked her team as she showed her cards.

"Ready!" The rest called, showing their cards as well. They all spun their shot and squeezed their grips and opened the compartments. They loaded their cards and closed them.

"ENERGIZE!" They shouted and spun the wheels, and many types of elements surrounded them, and out of the bloom, the crystals within the shots were glowing even brighter and the girls grew their pony and Siren attires. Their shots shifted and their element symbols and texture shifted on their shots.

"UNLEASH THE POWER!" They shouted as one and shot their cards out. They all glowed brightly, with each of them in the girls colored aura. The dinosaurs were summoned, all landing on the ground, roaring together, with the colored aura surrounding them, as they faced their enemies, side by side.

"You think a few more dinos would make a difference? Try this on! Alpha Clones, Go!" Zander said as clone T-rex and Saichania joined the battle, roaring.

"That makes it more even, for us! You're one short, brats!" Ursula said.

"Guys, we still have one more on our side!" Rex said. "Help us fight them, Ceratosaurus! DINO-SLASH!" Rex called and summoned the predator.

"Hey, Tracker!" Owen said getting ceratos attention. "Go knock em dead for the both of us!" He called smirking. Cerato agreed. Called that name for his beating and seeking his revenge to search for the Alpha Gang, Tracker was ready to fight. He had a score to settle with them for what they did to him.

"It won't matter how many you call! You will still lose!" ursula called.

"You're wrong, Ursula! It maybe true, you and your team holds dinosaur clones that will obey your every command! But you cannot truly control the most powerful magic that is within! It is a magic that binds us all together and battle together!" Sunset called.

"Yeah, Magic of friendship, I think they get it." Owen said.

"Hey, he ruined the epic moment!" Rainbow called.

"Oops, my bad." Owen chuckled sheepishly.

"It doesn't matter if you have to say it. Let's just show it!" Max said.

"You heard him, everyone!" Sunset smirked, with the others smirking as well.

"GOOOOOO!" They all called as their dinosaurs roared and charged at the enemies. The seven dinos kept the clones busy and overpowered them.

"Look, these move cards were in that pack. Give em a try." Spike said.

"Whoa, thanks!" Max said. "Lets' not give our friends all the action, let's finish these guy off with some new moves!"

"Already on it. Ninja Attack!" Rex called and used a new card.

Ace roared and ran quickly, faster than ever before. The speed allowed him to summon clones of himself and jump. The clones surrounded Tank and they all smashed at her, each never giving her an opening. She roared in pain and glowed, returning to her card.

"Stomping Hammer!" Zoe called and used a new card of her own.

Paris glowed green, and she charged in at Alpha Spinosaurus and she blasted him off his feet. She jumped up and dived at him, smashing him to the ground. The Alpha Spino roared in pain and returned to his card, glowing red with red water surrounding him.

"What's this!?" Ursula asked.

"They're using Dr. Z's move cards!" Zander called in panic.

"This is for Lance! Go, Lightning Spear!" Max said scanning Lance's card.

Lightning coated Chomp as he roared. He then slammed into terry and launched into the air with him as electricity exploded through him like a spear as he landed to the ground, shocked to the core before turning into a card.

Lance and Tracker grappled heads with each other as he saw the seven already beat the clones in blasts of light, but then all of them turned into cards and they fell to the ground, unconscious and exhausted. It was all on him now. He broke Lances and his hold and whaled on him in another flurry of blows to music of Orchids ultra. Lance fell to the ground defeated and cured as he turned to a card.

ULTRAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

Tracker stomped the ground, as he swung his body, facing away and throwing his head up, roaring in victory.

SUPREME VICTORY!

"Yes, we did it!" Zoe cheered, with the others cheering as well. Chomp and the others roared in victory and they all returned to their cards as well.

"Go get those cards!" Ursula commanded angrily.

"Goin and getting!" Zander and Ed replied, getting Terry, Tank and the clones. Chomp quickly grabbed Lance's card while the Alpha Gang was not looking.

"Good work, Chomp." Max smiled, taking the Styracosaurus card. Max took out Lightning Spear and held out the two to Rarity. "Rarity, Lance rightfully belongs to you. Take Lightning Spear as well. After all, it is his card."

"Thank you darling." Rarity thanked, taking the cards.

"There's our ride." Owen said as Reese's plane appeared. She landed the plane on the water near the shore.

"Let's go kids!" Spike called. The group all ran for the plane as Spike opened the door. "All aboard everyone." The group all got in, with Max being last.

"Dad, help!" Max called reaching for him.

"I got you." Spike replied, taking his hand and pulling him on the plane. They all took off as the island was behind them.

"Glad we had enough energy to move. We put all our magic into fighting those clones and exhausted ourselves." Rainbow breathed lightly. The others were exhausted as well.

"This was only the beginning. They will get stronger, now that they have thos dino clones. But, as long as we all battle together and strengthen our friendship, our dinosaurs will get stronger as well, and we will unlock more of our power, to make them even stronger." Sunset said to the group.

"Wonder if we'll see Rod and Laura again?" Max asked.

"Who knows?" Rex asked.

Back at home, they saw Owen in the lab not leaving at all.

"You're not gonna leave?" Rainbow asked.

"Nope. I'm joining the club." Owen said. "You guys may know all about how to battle and bond with the dinosaurs, but I know how they think. And I think you need someone who not one to destroy stuff. Don't lie, i've seen the damages." Owen explained, seeing some of the damages of the Lab, while Max was cleaning the mess he made from before.

"You're in then, Owen. Good to have you on the team." Spike said.

"Thing are about to get interesting." Sunset said.
