Chapter 6: A Better Understanding

Weeks had passed and training continued every day. The ninja had gotten better and understood more. They had learned to control earth pony strength. Fluttershy and Twilight helped them practice flying. Everyone but Cole was doing good. Fluttershy had told Twilight she would help Cole so the others could move on. While Fluttershy was helping Cole, Discord watch from the shadows. He had noticed Fluttershy spending an unusual amount of time with him. He was just as Jealous as he had been when Fluttershy took Tree Hugger to the gala. Then there was a loud "oomph." Discord came back from his thoughts and could see Cole had crash into Fluttershy and were accidentally kissing. They quickly got up Fluttershy was blushing so hard and so was Cole.

"Oh my." Fluttershy said.

"I think you need a different teacher-" Fluttershy was cut off.

Cole had kissed Fluttershy, Discords ears were hot with steam. They had stopped kissing. Fluttershy was a little woozy. After that day Discord had watched Fluttershy like a Hawk. Cole had finally learned how to fly, but he started to take Fluttershy on picnics, and would take her on walks through the park. Discord didn't like that Fluttershy had found love.

Cole walked in one day to see Fluttershy in the hangout room.

"Hey Fluttershy!" Cole said Pleased.

Fluttershy turned around and was horrified to see Zane dressed up like Fluttershy. The rest of the ninja came out from hiding and were laughing while Cole screamed.

"We got you so good!" Jay laughed.

"Hey Cole why don't you go kiss Fluttershy" Kai teased as he laughed.

Cole Tackled Kai and every pony started to laugh. Zane got out of the costume and turned off his humor switch. Later that night when it was dinner time Twilight had noticed that the young stallions were quiet, too quiet for her to know something was up. She looked at Starlight Glimmer, she nodded as if she knew too. Twilight made horns appear in one row, Starlight made the others appear in the other. Spike had noticed and left the table.

*HOOOOOOOOOOOONK!*

All of the Ninja had jumped so high from fear out of the chairs they hit their heads on the roof.

"So how was every pony's day?" Twilight asked.

"Great!" Kai started to laugh at the memory

Before long almost all the stallions were laughing except for Cole. After dinner later that night Cole was in his bedroom. Twilight opened the door and came in.

"Are you ok?" Twilight asked with concern.

"I'm fine." He said with a snort.

"Want to talk about it?" Twilight asked.

"When I went into the hangout room I thought I saw Fluttershy." Cole said as he blushed.

"But?" Twilight asked with curiosity.

"But when she turned around it was Zane dressed up as her, a cruel joke for a pony like me who likes another pony." He sighed.

"I know from experience love isn't an easy thing." Twilight said as she thought of Lloyd.

"What if I told you about some of my stories it might make you feel better?" Twilight asked.

"ok." Cole said.

They went to the library and Twilight told of her adventures, her failures, and even her embarrassing moments. After she finished Cole felt much better the both went to bed.

Training began early the next day Twilight, and Starlight were both excited to teach the princes magic. Twilight had started to teach them, Starlight would help assist with whom ever needed it. Fluttershy was reading a book by the tree when a orange fell on her head. She looked up to see Discord spying on the Princes.

"Discord!" Fluttershy she said in an Irritated tone.

Surprised by Fluttershy talking to him he fell out of tree.

"Oh, Hi there Fluttershy how can I help you?" Discord said with a smile.

"Why are you spying on the princes?" Fluttershy questioned.

"Err, I was just watching the training." Discord said then teleported away.

Fluttershy went back to reading and watched as they continued training.
