Chapter 5: A Rough Start

The ponies had all made it back to Ponyville. Twilight would start training the alicorn prince's to use their abilities for the best. She chose Applejack, Starlight Glimmer, and Fluttershy to help her train up the prince's. She would have chosen Rainbow Dash if she wasn't so busy with the Wonder Bolts. Unfortunately some creature decided to take a visit on the first training day.

"Discord you can't come here today!" Twilight argued.

"But I want to hang out with Fluttershy." Discord whined.

"What's so important that I can't be here today?" Discord asked with a mischievous chuckle.

"Twilight were here- What is that!" Cole asked in astonishment.

Kai, Jay, Lloyd, and Zane stood next to Cole looking just as startled as he was.

"Oh Twilight you didn't tell me we had more friends that are Royalty." said discord as he teleported between the ninja and poked at their horns.

"Not every pony has to tell you what is going on in our lives." Twilight said with a grunt.

"Well since I'm here why don't you introduce me to the princes" Discord smiled crookedly.

"Fine." Twilight said with an irritated voice.

She pointed to all the Ninja saying their names. Discord thought it was funny the whole time. As she introduce the ninja to discord they all didn't talk much, mainly they were freaked out by this creatures appearance. Finally they started training. Discord made a spot where a folded chair appeared, an umbrella and a bag of popcorn while waiting for the show to start. Fluttershy gave him a hard stare. Cole seemed to notice the two looking at each other. They both looked away. Fluttershy went to go stand next to her friends. They began their lessons with earth pony strength. Twilight made an obstacle course appear. First they had to run and jump over some hurdles, then they had to each pull a bale of hay and lift it onto a wagon. After that they had to pull the wagon to an apple tree, then buck a whole bucket of apples. After the bucked a bucket of apples they would lift it onto the wagon. Applejack demonstrated how to do it, and soon enough it was their turn. Discord wasn't just going to sit there nicely, he wanted to have a little fun. When Cole and Kai had reached the apple bucket lifting, he put an anvil in both of them. Kai struggled but Discord was foiled when Cole could lift the bucket with the anvil and apples. Twilight and the others had noticed Kai struggling. They turned to discord with a angry look. He snaps his fingers and Kai managed to lift the bucket. Discord still laughed at him struggling before the anvil was out. For Lloyd, Jay, Zane. Discord made the wagon wheels move super slow making it last longer. Twilight and the others had noticed again trouble. They turn to discord with a angry look, he snaps his fingers and crosses his arms with a grouchy face. They all finished and Applejack praised them along with the others for completing the course. Twilight was lecturing everyone when Fluttershy slipped away over to Discord. Cole was watching silently he listened very closely to what they were saying.

"Discord why did you give these ponies a hard time they are already having enough trouble settling in here." Fluttershy demanded.

"Whatever do you mean Fluttershy I didn't do anything?" he said with an innocent voice.

"I know you put an anvil in Kai and Cole's bucket, you did it to Applejack during one of the Sisterhooves social." Fluttershy said with a hint of irritation.

"Also I know you slowed the wheels down on Lloyd, Jay, and Zane wagons." Fluttershy said as she gave him a hard look.

"I expect more in you Discord don't you ever learn from your mistakes?" Fluttershy asked.

"Mistakes?" Cole thought.

Fluttershy had left the Draconequus, and she had walked into the castle. The training was over for the day so everyone started to head in. Cole looked at Discord and then Fluttershy, then walked in.
