Lion King 2: Simba's Feral Child
Chapter 7: 7. Hello, Lovers
Previous Chapter Next ChapterThe next day, the Parkers took an examination on Kijani as he is playing with the Lion Guard, Kopa and Kion.
Louis: Here it is, Romulus and Remus, the founders of the Roman Empire raised by wolves.
Penelope: It's a legend.
Marie: There are a lot of legends based on the stuff that really happened.
Sadie: But there are documented cases of children raised by animals.
Dr. Parker: Take the gazelle boy of Africa, John Ssebunya in Uganda and others.
Lucy: What about Kamala and Amala?.
Penelope: No, they have a mental illness and besides, some are hoaxes.
Roland: Do they ever grow up to be normal?
Ashley: Very few, it's a delicate mission.
Sadie: It is true. We have to be patient, compassionate and do it with care.
Elsa: Right.
Vivian: Did you see how he walks? He walks like a lion.
Frederick: His hair is shaggy and messy like a lion's mane and the nails are long.
Magnus: And he refuses to eat my waffles.
Ashley: And he left scratches on my door.
Katie: And he is such a cat person, you know, like a werecat.
Elsa: Maybe because he's raised by lions. Like Tarzan is raised by gorillas.
Sadie: And he copies everything I say.
Kijani: Say.
Dr. Parker: Maybe you can teach him, my girl.
Penelope: Sure, but first, he needs a bath and clothes. Peeee-hewwww!
Katie: So gross. he smells like lion poop.
As Kijani was given a bath by Louis, Sadie took out her childhood toys with the girls.
Sadie: Everything okay?
Louis: Everything's fine! AHHHHH!
The sisters chuckled as a splash was heard all over the house. Louis came out of the bathroom, all wet.
Louis: He loved bathing in the tub, we both did but he tore this into pieces whenever I want to put this on him.
Sadie: How about this. (Takes out her leopard spotted sarong that she is wearing and gives it to him.) it has my scent on because he gets used to me.
Louis enters the bathroom and takes Kijani out, who is now wearing Sadie's sarong. Jasiri sniffs at her friends.
Ashley: He's so brave.
Katie: No, he's a little shy.
Sadie: I guess we are ready.
For the rest of the day, Sadie teaches him the human language, walking upright, etiquette and manners while Kijani taught her how to swing on the vines, swim and other outdoor activities but what they enjoy is target practice because Sadie is good at archery while Kijani uses his spear. The more they spend time together with the lions, Kijani felt close to Sadie as if he wants her for a mate. After having fun, Frederick alarmed everybody of what he researched in the Internet.
Frederick: Guys, check out what I have seen here, in old newspapers from a long time ago, Zuberi River, Africa. Listen to this: Lion Attack incident on a Socialite family, wealthy animal activist, John Radcliffe and his family ran off in their yacht from United Kingdom to Serengeti Tanzania. As they try to survive this place, John Radcliffe, his wife, Holly Radcliffe, their eighteen year old daughter, Amber and their newborn son, Jonathan have been attacked by a group of lions. Here's the hint: the natives and the safari team recovered the bodies of John, Holly and Amber in their yacht in Tanzania but Jonathan was never found?
Hildegarde: Could he be Jonathan?
Elsa: There's a slight fifty percent chance he could be.
Kijani: Where is Kiara?
Sadie: Who is she?
Kopa: Our older sister.
Desmond: What does she look like?
Kion: A lioness, she is the heir and the eldest sister. She was born first among this litter.
Sadie: We'd better let them go back. We'll look for evidence tomorrow.
Elsa: Hey guys, what did that lion say?
Katie: He wants to find Kiara, their older sister.
Elsa: I see, I sense that they're looking for her as well.
Penelope: Yeah, I can understand their empathy as well.
Elsa: Alright
As Kijani and the lions went back to Pride Rock, Sadie felt a sense inside her, which is connecting her to the boy as they ran back home.
