The Guide to a Mending Soul
Chapter 9: Imagination Energy & Dimensional Energy
Previous ChapterAuthor's Notes. Greetings! I had some time, so I decided to make a much-needed addition to the guide. There are two sections in this addition. The first section is an update of some of the main OCs in the story. I don't have them all, but I am working on it. This section elaborates upon their history, their current whereabouts, and, most important of all, what they look like. I've found that I actually do precious little to describe the physical traits of characters. And so, I listed here the official appearances of the main OCs. If you find any contradictions in the actual story, do not hesitate to let me know, and I will fix the issue immediately. I also added trivia and theme songs. Because I can.
The second part illustrates the true nature and science of Imagination Energy and Dimensional Energy. So far, I haven't done very much to actually describe the properties of these mysterious substances. Hopefully this section will give you some insight. However, if you still have questions, feel free to PM me.
Main Characters:
Season 1
Sunset Shadow:
History: Sunset Shadow was born into the Earth Prime dimension, the 80,000,000th iteration of Joseph Torrus. As a young age (nine years old), Joseph Torrus was taken from Earth Prime to be a Dimensional Traveler by the Paradox, so that the Paradox could watch the child fail and suffer for his own pleasure. The young Joseph Torrus went insane, and began an unstoppable rampage, which subsequently ended with the death of his girlfriend: Melissa. Broken, Joseph Torrus stumbled into the My Little Pony dimension where he was eventually mentally put back together and reformed by Fluttershy, the Element of Kindness. The two married, and had a foal: Starlight Amber.
Whereabouts: Sunset Shadow is currently in Ponyville, living in retirement with his wife Fluttershy.
Trivia: Sunset Shadow, though at peace with himself, has continuous nightmares of the Paradox and the Amethyst Special One. All of them were previous iterations of Joseph Torrus, and that fact haunts Sunset Shadow to this day.
Appearance: Pegasus. Dark purple mane, a navy blue coat, and royal purple eyes. The mark upon his flank is that of an infinity sign, with a gradient transitioning between royal purple and coal black.
Theme song: Glorious Morning by waterflame89
Flaming Star:
History: Flaming Star was born into the Earth Prime dimension, the 80,000,000th iteration of Abimael Sethson, son of Seth, son of Adam of the firstborn of Earth. During a harvest, the Paradox approached Abimael and recruited him to be the very first Dimensional Traveler. Obsessed with winning, Abimael fought his way up to not only be the first Dimensional Traveler, but also the greatest. However, his arrogance and obsessive behavior cost him, as he eventually descended into reckless behavior. This behavior lead him to his first loss 7880 years later. Feeling ruined, he sought refuge (accidentally) in the My Little Pony dimension, where Twilight, the Element of Magic, helped him understand goodness and kindness. He married Twilight years later, and then, after years of deliberation, finally agreed to have a foal together. That is how the birth of Summer Constellation came about. Unfortunately, thirteen years after the birth of Summer, the mad Dimensional Lord Pictor sought revenge upon Flaming Star and carried out his lust for revenge by shooting down the airplane that carried the young Summer during a vacation trip between the eastern beaches of the Stallion Empire and Equestria. Summer was presumed dead. Wrought with grief, Flaming Star and Twilight began to desperately search for Summer, but failed miserably. They considered moving to Manehattan to rid themselves of the painful memories that permeated Ponyville, but then, after going on an interdimensional mission for Amethyst's Council of Rerenhaw, changed their minds and decided to instead run to another dimension, leaving the My Little Pony dimension and all its pain-filled memories behind.
Whereabouts: Unknown. Flaming Star and Twilight Sparkle left the MLP dimension like thieves in the night, and neither Amethyst nor Rerenhaw has opted not to track them due to Dimensional Lord Doxia's decree to 'give them some privacy.'
Trivia: Flaming Star has an irrational fear of the opposite sex. He loves Twilight and is comfortable around her, but is nervous around any other females.
Appearance: Alicorn. Mahogany mane, sunflower yellow coat, and ocean blue eyes. The mark upon his flank is that of an ocean blue rapier skewering an ocean blue infinity sign.
Theme song: Hero by Skillet
Season 2
August Dellor (Inquisitor Blue):
History: August Dellor was born from the consummation between Samuel Dellor (a Dimensional Lord), and Princess Luna (ruler of the night). At an early age, August Dellor began to have strange visions of the Inquisitors, Amethyst's ancient Dimensional-Lord-hunters. These dreams were almost life-like, and were impervious to Princess Luna's dream-magic. After suffering from these visions for fifteen years, Doxia eventually deduced that August Dellor was the second iteration of the Inquisitor Blue, who was related to the Dellor Family in some unknown way. Doxia tasked August Dellor (and his friend Gene Grayson) with the quest to retrieve the armor of Inquisitor Blue, who had scattered his armor and weaponry before committing suicide eons ago. August retrieved the armor, but then found out that the previous Blue had never left, but had taken up refuge within his very soul and mind. Blue took over August's body, and used it to battle (and kill) the mad Dimensional Lord Pictor and to retrieve his helmet and all-powerful Heavenblade. During a battle with the mysterious Harold (found out to be yet another relative of the Dellor Family), August "defeated" Blue in a battle of the minds and retook his body. However, Blue's compromise was false. During the following year, Blue retook August's thoughts in such a natural way that August thought his change in attitude and combat skill were natural, not the product of losing all willpower to Blue once again.
Whereabouts: August is working with Inquisitor Blue's former teammates (Inquisitor Sunflower and Inquisitor Dark), and is searching the multiverse for Harold Dellor, who has sworn to destroy the Inquisition.
Trivia: Since his first encounter with Harold Dellor, August has started to have the visions of the Inquisition's bloodstained past. However, they do not affect him as much, as Blue is practically the one driving his locomotive functions.
Appearance: Human. Black hair and pale skin with midnight blue eyes. Two and a half meters tall. Covered in gray full-body armor with blue stripes trailing from his thighs to his ankles, and from his shoulder plates to his wrist and helmet. His masked helmet is simple, with a thin T-visor stretching from ear-to-ear and down to the jaw. The blue stripe upon the helmet starts from the jaw and reaches over his forehead to the base of his skull on the other side of his head.
Theme song: Radioactive by Imagine Dragons
Summer Constellation:
History: Summer Constellation was born on a July day to Flaming Star and Twilight Sparkle. She was named "Summer" on a request from Archangel Michael, who had actively associating himself with Doxia, Mattimeo, and many of the Dimensional Travelers within the My Little Pony dimension before the Heaven Multiverse closed its gates and retracted from the Earth Multiverse's mortal affairs. Despite her beautiful birth (a glorious event, celebrated throughout the land), Summer was born on the "wrong side of things." Though she was birthed from the most powerful Dimensional Traveler and the most powerful pony mage, Summer's magical and Dimensional abilities were utterly lackluster, and tests on her powers showed that what Dimensional-Traveler-abilities she had within her (which were already initially exceptionally weak) were waning slowly. In addition to that, she had been born with a defect: blindness. Her father Flaming Star tried to restore her sight, but the process was too complex (being purely organic) and too taxing. Eventually Dimensional Lord Doxia planned to work out a way to give her true sight, but the advent of this solution had been planned for her fourteenth birthday (over a month after she tragically vanished), so it came too late. Nonetheless, during her time in Ponyville, Summer proved to be one of the most caring and loving ponies in existence, truly in tune with the nature, though she did possess a rather feisty side if something went really wrong. She was beautiful in appearance and disposition, and no one doubted that she could be whatever she wanted despite her disabilities, and she loved her life regardless of its limitations. As time went on, though, Summer felt that she wanted to "see" the rest of the world, to feel out the nuances of the place she called home. She had been called a natural Argonaut many a time before. And so her father and mother pulled some political strings and sent her on a cruise with some Equestrian Bodyguards to see the east coast of the Stallion Empire. Sadly, on the way back from the adventure, the plane was shot down by the mad Dimensional Lord Pictor, and all but Summer were killed in the crash as the plane went down in the cold, bleak tundra of the Stallion Empire's Frozen North. But thanks to her waning Dimensional-Traveler-powers, Summer was able to protect herself in the crash. Sadly, that was all she could do. The collision was so great that she suffered severe brain trauma, and immediately contracted a severe case of amnesia with little to no chance to recover anything of the past. After this event, her body was recovered by Lyric Reed, who took it upon himself to care for her. The two became inseparable, closer than siblings, closer than husband and wife, and so their own adventures began, spanning everywhere from the Frozen North to the Southern Jungles.
Whereabouts: Summer is located within the depths of the southern lands of the Stallion Empire, with the pony Lyric Reed.
Trivia: Since birth, Summer has desperately wanted to learn how to dance, but is too ashamed to try. Only Lyric knows of this dilemma, and has been trying to teach her since the advent of her confession to him.
Appearance: Pegasus. Chestnut mane streaked with violet, dark yellow coat, and violet eyes. The mark upon her flank is that of a purple-colored phoenix with outstretched wings.
Theme song: Shut Up and Dance by Walk the Moon
Lyric Reed:
History: Lyric Reed was born in a small town in the Frozen North to two Equestrian criminals. His parents had both been members of the Canterlot's Royal court during the Paradox Crises, and had been members of the royal parliament during the xenophobic craze swept the planet after the Paradox died. However, during the craze, the two ponies attempted to push illegal actions into the court, but were caught. They fled to the Stallion Empire where they hid in the Frozen North. It was there that they had Lyric, but he was immediately abandoned out in the snow to die. Lyric didn't die, though, and was taken in by an elderly mare, who cared for him for five years. Even at a young age, Lyric showed an incredible propensity for the musical arts, especially the flute, and used these wondrous skills to help his caretaker beg. Unfortunately, it was not enough, and the old mare eventually starved to death on his fifth birthday. Lyric was mentally scarred, but still refused to give up on life. He continued to play his flute with the skill of a prodigy. It was still not enough. And so Lyric turned to a life of crime, using his musical skills to con the ponies in towns, allowing him to rob them of all their possessions. He hated what he did, but he did it anyway, as it was almost necessary for survival in the cold wastelands of the north. Lyric continued his thievery for eight more years, and was in fact on a journey to set up a new base of illegal operations when he stumbled upon Summer, protected in the rubble of the downed airplane by a bubble of energy. Lyric freed her and then, despite his darker side screaming against him, took the disheveled pony in, caring for her against his "better" judgement. Summer came to, and the two began to travel together. As time went on, Summer managed to convice Lyric to give into his moral side and stop his illegal operations altogether, to accept her help in working together to scavenge a living. He gave in, and the two have been living together ever since, like two peas in a pod.
Whereabouts: Wherever Summer is, Lyric is also. The two are currently hiding away, deep within the southern regions of the Stallion Empire.
Trivia: During his younger days, his elderly caretaker would allow him to snuggle up to her and suck her right forehoof. Despite her death and all the years that have passed, Lyric still does it involuntarily in his sleep to Summer, and she had not said a single word. There has really been nothing to say.
Appearance: Unicorn. Dark purple coat with an ocean-blue mane and ocean-blue eyes. The mark upon his flank is that of a treble cleft, held in suspension.
Theme song: Nara by E.S. Posthumus
Starlight Amber:
History: Starlight Amber was born to Sunset Shadow and Fluttershy. Due to the fact that Sunset Shadow had given up his Dimensional Traveler abilities during the aftermath of the Paradox's death, the Kytax saw fit to also take the reminiscent powers that echoes in the soul of the newborn Starlight as well, and so she too grew up without any Dimensional Traveler abilities. Despite this, Starlight could not be stopped by this. Though her first few years made her out to be a sweet, submissive filly, her mood suffered a drastic evolution during the former half of her pre-teen years for a reason known only to herself. Starlight became feisty, easily offended, and raucous. She would fight a pony three times her size at the drop of her hat, and that wasn't the scary part. The scary part was that she would win that fight, and the other pony would have to be taken to the Emergency Room for two broken limbs and a collapsed lung. If Starlight had a motto, it would have been "I'm not going to die." She could take on anyone with a viciousness that would cow demons. Only to her friends and family was she kind and generally acquiescent, but not even her brightest youngster-smile could hide the deadly fire in her eyes. To compliment her fighting spirit, Starlight, under the nose of her father and mother, began to train herself in weapons. Using her father's connections and abusing her relationship with Princess Twilight Sparkle, she got herself the most dangerous of weapon-tutors. She went from learning hand-to-hand combat to handheld combat, to projectile combat. And when she had mastered every gun she could, she began to learn the art of driving and flying her weapons. Jeeps, tanks, fighters, bombers. Though she hid her activities with a cleverness beyond her years, eventually her knowledge and abilities became subject to Federal interests. She was approached by a secret agent one night with an offer her fighting-hungry mind could not refuse, and that set off a chain of events that ultimately ended with her washed up, abandoned, on the shore of the remote island of Redzion, countless kilometers away from Equestrian shores. She was there for a whole year, and no one knows what happened in that dark place, for when she was found again, floating alone without aid in Equestria-controlled waters, she refused to speak of what had transpired there. All she insisted was that she had been trapped upon the island for a year, alone, without any form of contact or help. That mysterious year on Redzion changed Starlight, though. She went from blood-thirsty and fight-hungry to quiet and introverted, almost as sweet and submissive as she had been in her foalhood days. She cut all ties with the Federal agencies that had contacted her, and took up a job as the teacher of the Ponyville school. She became the most loved pony in all of Ponyville, admired and accepted far more than even the Mane 6 had been in their younger days. She has continued to win the admiration and love of her peers with the a kindness and core understanding that even Celestia does not understand, and she has left the hideous darkness of her past far, far behind her, buried in the annals of her mind life a tomb within an impenetrable pyramid.
Whereabouts: Starlight Amber can be found usually in Ponyville, either teaching a class overflowing with young foals eager to hear her voice, or in town, helping any pony with anything.
Trivia: Starlight Amber has an incredibly irrational fear of needles. She is so scared of them that she almost killed the doctor trying to administer to her in order to prevent receiving a shot.
Appearance: Pegasus. Soft brown coat with faded golden mane and moderate cyan eyes. The mark upon her flank is that of a cyan infinity sign, imprinted upon a cyan butterfly's wings.
Theme song: Fight Song by Rachel Platten
Doxia:
History: Doxia was born in an unknown location in an unknown dimension, long ago collapsed from age, never to be seen again. Doxia had once been an anthropomorphic dog, living in a land of human-like animals, running society and controlling the world. A place where humans did not exist. Another unique fact to be known was that Doxia had been good friends with Mattimeo, Meadolax, Spiderax, Rolles, Vaporix, and Vaporis long before any of them even became Dimensional Lords. Legend has it that the group had been inventors, working on a device that stretched the understanding of modern science, a device that would literally punch through the dimensions and expose the great beyond. They succeeded, but before they could publish their results to the world, they were approached by the Archangel Bottarr, who asked them for the device. In return, he said, they would be given the mantles of Dimensional Lords, guardians tasked with assisting the Special Ones in protecting the Tri-Multiverse from the hideous threat of the Maelstrom. The group agreed, on the condition that they not lose their memories like 99% of the rest of the Dimensional Lords. They all agreed, and the group was given their powers and sent off to be trained like the rest of the Dimensional Lords. Doxia, Mattimeo, Meadolax, Spiderax, and Rolles were chosen to be Dimensional Lords for the Amethyst Special One, while Vaporix and Vaporis were chosen to be Dimensional Lords for the Sapphire Special One. Amethyst and Sapphire were close allies, and so the Dimensional Lords fought side-by-side against the Maelstrom, all of them surviving to the end of the alliances and the end of the great empires. Spiderax and Rolles eventually gave up their abilities and went home. Vaporis went rogue and was killed by Mattimeo. Meadolax became a godfather and left the band for good. Vaporix went off to explore all that he could. All that is left is Doxia, Mattimeo. Doxia now spends his time watching and waiting, burying himself in the matters of the Multiverse and wondering when his time will finally come.
Whereabouts: Doxia can be found in Rerenhaw, where he mediates the Rerenhaw Council and co-rules the remnants of the dilapidated Amethyst Empire with his only remaining friend Mattimeo.
Trivia: Though Doxia is not considered totally insane, he will talk to his long dead wife Allison in the early hours of the morning, while he waits for the sun to rise. He is almost entirely alone, after all. Fortunately he has recently (finally) taken on a new companion: Derpy, a pony from the My Little Pony dimension. She is kind and sweet (and a little crazy herself), and she has been helping mend the shambles that once were the mental constructs of Doxia's glorious mind.
Appearance: Humanoid. Once an anthropomorphic dog. 3 meters tall. Covered in pearl white full-body armor with a masked helmet. The helmet is simple, with a visor shaped like an open flame. Upon his armor are ribbons of red imprinted upon the metallic plating, connecting his shoulder pads to his wrists, and his thighs to his ankles. His chest plate also has long stripes running upon the upper-half. There are stripes of red upon his helmet as well, marking the area around his visor, almost like war paint.
Theme song: The Hamster Dance
Mattimeo:
History: Like Doxia, Mattimeo came from a dimension that has long since crumbled into the void. Also like Doxia, he came from the land of animals, where society was ruled by sentient, intelligent creatures as opposed to being run by humans, who never existed in this universe. Mattimeo had been the leader of the scientist group, with Doxia being the chief engineer and right-hand-man. Together, with the help of the rest of their team, they built a dimension-tearing device that caught the attention of the Archangel Bottarr, who had been tasked by the Heaven Mutliverse to recruit a worldly army to combat the oncoming threat of the Grand Devil's Maelstrom. Later Bottarr told Mattimeo in private that he would be given the most power of any Dimensional Lord, bordering on the Kytax's and the Special Ones' abilities. But with that came a cost: He would have to shoulder the responsibilities that every other Dimensional Lord could not. He would be tasked with making the moral choices that would even cow Doxia. Mattimeo took these responsibilities on without a word. He knew he would be hated, and he knew he would suffer, but he did not complain and he did not stray from the path that lay before him. It was for the good of all. He knew it was for the good of all. Even after the Maelstrom War and even after the great empires fell into disrepair, Mattimeo continued the path only he could tread. And now he stands alone in his decisions, thinking over the threats that loom in the future with a calm eye. Evil was strong, but he was stronger. He had to be, and he still has to be.
Trivia: Though Mattimeo has claimed he has no time for love, it is no secret that there in one being in the whole wide Multiverse that he cares for more than he cares for and conditions true justice: Summer Constellation. He loves her like a father, and watches her wellbeing carefully. Though he has done his best to separate himself from the events of the My Little Pony dimension for the good of all the inhabitants, he cannot help but tweak events in her favor whenever he gets the chance. Everything from postponing a small rainstorm to subconsciously suggesting to a crazy old loner that he take a different path, a path that ultimately would lead to a disheveled Lyric trapped beneath a rock as savages capture his friend.
Appearance: Humanoid. Once an anthropomorphic cat, and 3.2 meters tall. Covered in pearl white full-body armor with a masked helmet. The helmet is simple, with a long straight visor almost stretching from ear-to-ear. His gauntlets, arms, and shoulder-plating are all cyan with pearl white stripes on the wrists and arms, and there are stripes of cyan upon his shin-guards. Additionally, there are cyan-colored triangular markings over the temples of his helmet.

Imagination Energy and Dimensional Energy
Despite their names, these substances are not actual energy. In fact, they are not truly physical substances at all. And, despite their appearances, they do not really possess the liquid-solid attributes that seem to have when conjured. No. Imagination Energy and Dimensional Energy are neither matter nor energy. Neither gas nor liquid nor solid. Neither light nor dark. These two species of ingots of reality are something entirely different. They are physical manifestations of INFORMATION. They are like code, or a special language, existing in a physical form in the Multiverse. In short, they are the programming languages of the Tri-Multiverse.
Imagination Energy
Written within the flows and streams of Imagination Energy (also known as IME) is the coding of Creation. It was with this that the Tri-Multiverse came into being. Imagination Energy acts as active input in a command line. That is why it can cut through anything in reality, bar none. When Imagination Energy strikes a piece of matter or energy with destructive intent, it is like typing into the command console of reality, commanding the very fabric of existence to: "~$ rm file_name" where the file_name is the object that was struck. In an instant the target ceases to exist, as if it had never been created in the first place. Removed from all of reality. But even then this isn't true "annihilation." The reason for this statement will be elaborated upon a little later. Either way, to remove and destroy is not the main reason for Imagination Energy, anyway. Its prime task is to create and improve. Just as one can use Imagination Energy to input destructive code into the command console of the Tri-Multiverse, it can also (more often and easily) be used to input creative code. When handling Imagination Energy, one can think up anything from a simple inorganic object, to a whole different species, to a whole new universe, and everything in between, like a portal or a black hole. It is like commanding the fabric of reality to "~$ cat file_name" where the file_name is the thing that is desired to be created. Nothing is impossible. The limit is the imagination of the user. Hence the name. However, despite IME existing in the very core of all matter and energy, it cannot be extracted and handled. Once a stream of IME has been used to create something, the code is written, the object created, and now the stream is tainted. New streams of IME can be added to either un-write (destroy the substance), alter (change the substance into something entirely new), or extend (improve or reinforce the substance) the code that was written on the tainted stream, but the stream will remain there, it cannot be destroyed properly. Even if you command an object to delete itself using IME, and though the object itself will cease to exist, the tainted stream will remain, blank as a canvas, waiting to receive a new stream of IME with new coding instructions. The only true way to find pure IME is to look for the unused streams hidden in the depths of massive stars or colossal black holes (trapped by a cocoon of used IME), or out in the expanses of the Outer Ring of the Earth Multiverse, drifting around like debris, long-forgotten testaments to the Beginning. There are also a few substances that can "hold" streams of pure IME without tainting it (like Energized Protodermis) but these are very, very, very rare.
Dimensional Energy
For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. So is the law that govern 90% of the Earth Multiverse. For every object that comes into being, there is, somewhere out there, an anti- version of said object. There is no exception, for even Imagination Energy has a complete and total opposite. The name for this opposite substance is Dimensional Energy. Dimensional Energy (DE) also is not a true substance but is, like IME, pure information. It is code, and it is in charge of coding into existence all anti-objects (that is its main purpose). It, like IME, is also fully capable of creating portals, and black holes (which exist in a flux between being coded by DE and being coded by IME). One of the main uses DE has, though, aside from coding antielectrons, is to cancel out IME. When DE comes in contact with IME, the two substances cease to exist altogether (like most matter when it comes in contact with its antimatter counterpart). As stated previously, though IME can delete created matter itself, the tainted stream that was used create the destroyed matter initially still exists, despite now being incorporeal, unused, and without form. And so the true way to annihilate something that resulted from the coding of IME is to strike it with something from the coding of DE. The two will collide and the object subject to the reaction will truly be wiped from reality. There will be nothing left over. Well, that is not entirely true. Despite the fact that the annihilation of a specific object is the result of a reaction between DE and IME, there is usually still a wisp of reality that escapes. But between a choice of un-coding something into non-existence with IME and destroying that same something with a reaction between IME and DE, the latter of the two is by far the most effective in total obliteration. But despite this great and terrible power, DE is generally not used to wipe out IME. Instead it is utilized mostly for portal-making (it is easier to make a portal from DE than IME) and for making Phantom Devices (to inhibit said portals). There are countless uses for DE, as there are countless uses for IME.
Corrupted Imagination Energy
Corrupted Imagination Energy (CIE) is not like DE (where it is an anti-force), but it is not truly IME either. It is like an application that has been infected with a malicious virus, where the code has been injected with destructive additions. CIE starts as a regular stream of IME, but then is affected by a malicious stream. This malicious stream has to be incredibly powerful. After all, no regular substance of any kind can so bodily affect the language of creation. In fact, there is only one true way that IME can be created: Madness. When a person is utilizing IME, they can taint it with dark Imagination. That is, Imagination that has been warped by the instability of mind. This instability can stem from either true insanity, or purely venomous intent. When this happens, IME becomes sporadic and unstable, still acting like regular IME, but also warping and infecting surrounding streams, malevolently affecting matter, energy, and magic. Eventually large areas can be warped by the darkened dreams of the one who initially injected the CIE as the infection spreads. IME and CIE cannot coexist, just as IME and DE cannot come in contact with each other. IME and CIE will clash, and, depending on whichever is stronger in imagination purity (the purity or malignant impurity of the Imagination and Dreams of the one who initially injected said streams), will override each other by either purification or infection. DE and CIE, however, do not actually work in contrast. They will destroy each other, but they do it slowly, like magma over rock. It will happen, but DE takes a much longer time to annihilate the CIE because of the sheer amount of unbalancing impurity that permeates the CIE. Sometimes it can even take minutes, as opposed to the instantaneous reaction between regular IME and DE
Apollumi (the Grand Khert)
As stated previously, there still will be something left over from a DE and IME reaction, despite the fact the two states of information are complete and utter opposites. There is also something left over when IME is used to un-code the previously written IME in a substance. Something is always left over. There are even remnants of a universe that remain when said universe collapses from old age and returns to the void. However, when something like this (or like the previous two examples of annihilation where there is debris left over) happens, the tainted IME and DE that survives doesn't float aimlessly for eternity, like an unwanted rag. Verily, all tainted IME and all tainted DE eventually drift together, getting isolated and pulled into a massive sinkhole of Creation where the scraps are held separate and safe, trapped within suspended animation for all of eternity. This veritable sinkhole for the lost and forgotten is called "Apollumi" by some, "the Grand Khert" by others. It is indeed real, but it has yet to be located, as no one knows how to track the lost streams of IME and DE when a dimension finally collapses and all is presumably erased.
