Chapter 5

Welcome back to another chapter, this will take place two days later. Mostly cos of the fact that it would take forever to find Shooting Stars carers. Lets begin.

I don't own MLP or AC. I own Shooting Star.

White was all that Shooting Star could see.

"Is he going to be okay?" A voice he recognized too well.

"This is Shooting Star we're talking about. He's taking some hits before."

"Never a knife to his stomach!"

His vision became clearer and he saw two figures. One had Black hair done neatly while the other had messy blue hair, the voices made it clear the two were female.

"But are you sure it's a good idea to skip school?" The black haired figure asked.

The blue haired girl crossed her arms. "Shooting Star's our friend. We may be at different schools now but that doesn't mean we can't be there for him."

"I guess you're right."

His vision became more clearer. The blue haired girl had a pair of shades perched on top of her forehead revealing purple eyes. "I think he's waking up!"

With Twilight and Spike

Twilight was worried. "C'mon Twilight, calm down. He is probably been exploring."

She glared at the dog. "He would've told me first, it's the fact he's been missing for two days now."

The phone then rang and Rainbow Blitz answered it. "Hello?... Yes, speaking... yes she's here... hold on..."

She held it in front of Twilight. "It's the hospital calling for you."

Twilight frowned. "How do they know I'm here?"

She took the phone and placed it to her ear. "Hello?... yes, I'm Twilight Sparkle... yes, he's my boyfriend..."

Her eyes widened and she dropped the phone, grabbed her bag with Spike in it and sprinted out the door.

"Twilight wait!" Rainbow Dash yelled. "Why's she running off?"

Rainbow Blitz eyes were wide with shock with the phone t her ear. "Shooting Star's in hospital."

Twilight was running through the city, she knew where the hospital was since she looked it up but it she had to go past the school.

Spike was staring to get sick. "Twilight, please slow down!"

"No Spike! I have to get there quick!"

The ex-dragons eyes widened. "Please don't do that! I hate it just as much as your flying!"

But she wasn't listening, she only focused on her destination. For once in her life, Twilight didn't want to go to school, she wanted to get to her boyfriend. She ended up running past Flash and Sunset.

"Twilight? What's the rush?" Flash yelled.

Sunset frowned. "Looks like she's in a hurry."

But her expression turned to shock when they both saw her scaling the school to get over it. "Twilight too? I thought only Shooting Star can do that!"

Sunsets eyes narrowed. She only knew one group who can do something like that. She took off her leather jacket and handed it to Flash. "Hold this please."

"What are you-" Flash started to say but stopped when Sunset started sprinting towards the school.

She moved her way through students and shocked everyone when she started climbing as well. "Slow down Twilight Sparkle."

Applejack just stared wide eyed along with the others. "D-did you guys just see what ah just saw?"

Rarity just looked at the building. "The fact that Twilight and Sunset just climbed the school like it was nothing?"

Pinkie bounced. "Oooh, maybe it's a pony thing."

"Hey, wait up!"

Twilight looked behind her and her eyes widened when she saw Sunset onn her tail. "How the heck is she able to do that?"

Sunset too was confused. "How's a princess able to do that?"

The ex-unicorn tried to catch Twilight but she ended up losing the purple skinned human. She was now panting.

"How... is... she... doing... that?"

She straightened herself up. I best get back now, Flash is probably wondering what's going on."

With Shooting Star

"You're alive!" The blue haired girl hugged him.

"Uh, who are you people?"

"It's me, Vinyl! And there's Octavia!"

Octavia hugged Shooting Star as well, but then frowned. "You look different."

Vinyl checked him over. "Yeah, last time I saw you, your eyes were black."

Shooting Star frowned. "What are you guys doing here?"

Vinyl glared at him, jumping to a conclusion. "Oh, I see. Me and Tavi move to a different school and you pretend we're complete strangers?"

Octavia hushed her friend. "Vinyl, wait. He's way too different."

Shooting Star sighed. "I see what's going on, you think I'm the Shooting Star from this world."

The two girls looked confused. "Uhhh, what?"

Vinyl then snapped her fingers. "Oh, wait! I get it now! You mean that other world that Twilight came from."

Octavia was now more confused. "What?"

"Remember what I told you about the Fall Formal?"

"You were serious about that?"

"I'm always serious!"

"Since when?"

Shooting Star chuckled quietly as he listened to the two bicker. "Yep, that's Vinyl and Octavia alright."

"Shooting Star!"

The three occupants turned to the door to see Twilight bursting through the door. "Oh thank Celestia your okay!"

"Twilight?"

The purple skinned girl looked puzzled. "Vinyl? How did YOU get here?"

The DJ frowned. "Wait, how are YOU back?"

Octavia was now clutching her head. "This is some morning."

At the school

"SHOOTING STAR'S IN HOSPITAL?"

Rainbow Dash rubbed her ear. "Be louder Rarity, I'm still not deaf."

Rarity grabbed her and shook her violently."Is he okay? IS HE? Oh poor Twilight, I hope she's alright."

Rainbow Dash shoved Rarity away. "Calm down, I'm here barely five minutes and already-"

"Sunset!" Flash called out. "Good to see you again!"

The girl in question jumped from the roof and landed. "Woah, how did you do that?" Flash asked

She took her jacket back with a small 'thank you'. "I learned how to do it when I was in Equestria."

Pinkie Pie squealed. "Oooh, can you tell us?"

"... maybe one day."

Rarity waved her arms like crazy. "We're getting off subject here, one of our friends is in the hospital!"

Applejack sighed. "Look Rarity, there ain't nothing we can do right now, so we might as well wait for some news."

Rarity looked down. "... I guess you're right."

Sunset was in thought. "I'm just wondering who would even do that to him."

In the hospital

"So, let me get this straight." Octavia began. "You two are ponies, one is a princess and you both come from a world filled with ponies. You have Pegasi, unicorns and alicorns, the world is controlled using magic to raise the sun and moon aaand you two are here because a powerful artefact is loose?"

Shooting Star nodded. "That sounds about right."

Octavia smiled slightly. "Well, I'm gonna go home now and rock back and forth in the shower."

Vinyl sighed as she went after her friend. "Tavi, wait! It's true!"

Twilight sighed. "Vinyl took it a lot better than Octavia."

"Yeah."

She then looked at her boyfriend. "How did you get into hospital anyway?"

Shooting Stars face turned grim. "I know who the Templar is."

Twilight stood up. "Who is it?"

"The same pony who cost me my eyesight, one of the Templar masters, Killburn."

Twilight was now shaking in anger. "Why is he here?"

Shooting Star closed his eyes. "From what he told me, he's planning on getting more Templar recruits here, and with the Apple, he's gonna succeed."

He then frowned. "But he said he was gonna get rid of the other Assassin, but the only ones here are me and you."

Twilight put a finger to her chin in thought. "I wonder what he means by that?"

"Who knows."

At the school

"This is not looking good Luna."

Luna looked at her sister. "What do you mean Tia?"

The older sister placed her hands on her head. "I mean that one of our students got in an accident, or so they say. When the paramedics called me, they said it was a knife wound."`

Luna gasped. "So there is a killer on the loose?"

Celestia stood up. "We have to keep a close eye on the students, if something like this happens again, I'm calling the police."

The younger sister nodded. "Good idea."

Celestia was deep in thought. "But, why has this started happening right after those two arrived?"

Meanwhile, in an unknown location. Killburn was in front of a crowd.

"Now, you all wonder why your here, why I picked you of all people. Because you people of this world know how life works. Life needs Order and Control, not any of that freedom business which is only an invitation to chaos."

The crowd murmured in agreement. Killburn continued.

"Which is why I've decided to do something about it, now I am only one person. But with your help, we will succeed at our plans. Down with those freedom talks, so long independence. Today we will take down those weak leaders and bring in people who can actually get the job done!"

The crowd started stomping in agreement.

"This is where it will be born! Where the Order will be restored! It's time for the Templars to take a stand!"

The crowd erupted into cheers and applause. Killburn turned to his group of High Ranks. "I have a job for one of you."

One stepped forward. "I will do it sir."

Killburn grinned. "Excellent Seahawk. I trust you will not fail."

Seahawk grinned. "Not at all sir, you have my word."

"Very well, pay close attention..."

In the school, The girls were now eating lunch in the cafeteria. Sunset was in deep thought when Pinkie Pie poked her.

"Huh, what?"

Pinkie smiled. "I was saying, I never knew you had a tattoo."

Sunsets eyes went wide when she realised she took her jacket off and on her right shoulder was a symbol. "Oh, that. Yeah, there are a whole group of people who wear this symbol."

"Like Shooting Star?"

The ex-unicorn had a look of shock before recovering. "Yeah... like that. I need to go somewhere real quick."

Flash stood up. "I'll come with you, I need to pick up the questions for the upcoming test."

Sunset nodded and the duo went out.

Rainbow Dash pointed at them. "Think something's going on between those two?"

Rarity gasped. "Rainbow Dash! How could you say that, he got rejected by Twilight a couple of days ago!"

Rainbow Dash rose her hands in defence. "Hey, I'm just saying."

Meanwhile, in the hospital. (Yes, I know I'm just dragging this now, last filler, I promise.)

Shooting Star and Twilight were asking the music duo (Who now returned) how they knew Shooting Star.

Vinyl smiled. "We went to school with him, boy was he fun to be around. But eventually, we had to switch school."

Octavia nodded. "Though he did get bullied a lot."

Twilight gasped. "What do you mean?"

Vinyl sighed. "Well, since it doesn't apply to this one, our Shooting Star has black eyes, so he got bullied for having 'Demon eyes'." She continued using air quotes.

Shooting Star frowned. "Didn't he fight back?"

The duo looked at each other and burst out laughing. Shooting Star and Twilight looked really confused to why they were laughing so hard.

Vinyl wiped a tear away, still giggling. "Oh, that's good. I have to remember that one."

"What's so funny?"

Octavia managed to compose herself but still giggled. "Well, our Shooting Star may know how to defend himself, but he has only been in, I think one fight in his life. He prefers with his nose in his Xbox."

The two ex-ponies raised an eyebrow. "Xbox?"

"Oh, I see. You guys don't have that. Well, do you have any sort of games?"

Twilight nodded. "We have arcade machines."

Vinyls jaw dropped. "That's it? I thought you guys had magic, know what never mind."

"Soooo, video games?"

Octavia smiled. "Oh yes, Shooting Star is, what people call a 'Gamer Geek'." She used air quotes for this. "He plays lots of games, records them and puts them on Youtube. He's quite famous."

Twilight snapped her fingers. "I remember that thing, that's what Applebloom, Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo were on. I'll tell you later."

Shooting Star frowned. "Soooo Youtube?"

With Sunset

She was in a classroom all alone trying to gather her thoughts.

"What the hell?" Sunset thought. "First, those two come over here with these climbing skills only I thought I can do. Then Shooting Star has that same symbol on his hand like I do on my shoulder."

She clutched her head and groaned. "I'll visit him and ask him everything."

But before Sunset could leave, she was grabbed by a force.

"Ah! What the?" She tried to get out using her magic but to no avail.

"What the heck? I don't recognize this magic." Sunset tried to think of a way out.

"That's because it's not magic."

She saw a figure appear. He had blue hair and green eyes with yellow skin. "Hello Ms. Sunset."

The girl was a little scared. "H-How do you know my name?"

"We know all about you. By the way, names Seahawk."

"We?" Sunset was confused but her eyes widened when she saw the symbol on him. "N-No, t-that's not possible. I did research, you people don't exist."

Seahawk sneered. "That's because our master's not from this world. Assassin."

Sunset scoffed. "I'm not an Assassin, I was only there for eight months."

"That still makes you one, and I know you have a hidden blade."

He then stepped closer to Sunset. "I have orders to give you some news. In the shape of a knife, okay that part was my idea."

Her pupils dilated when she saw the blade. "Just like your friend."

Seahawk then stabbed her in the stomach to which she yelled in pain as blood started seeping out, the force hold on her went away and she collapsed.

Seahawk walked away as he started fading. "Now for the news, I'd take a good look at your friends in the future, you'll find one of them will be acting quite different."

Sunset tried to reach. "No... stop!"

But it was too late. Seahawk was now gone and Sunset was now all alone and losing blood. She tried getting to the door but found it was harder than usual, but then Flash came in.

"Sunset? You in here?"

He frowned when he saw her on the floor. "You okay?"

Sunset grabbed his shirt and looked at him with pleading eyes. "Flash... please... help... me..."

Her hand drooped and Flash's eyes dilated when he saw blood on his shirt as well as a puddle starting to form around the girl. "Sunset!"

The blue haired human picked her up bridal style. "Stay with me, I'm calling an ambulance."

"Please... hurry..." Sunset wheezed.

Flash sprinted out of the classroom with a slowly dying girl in his arms. Tears started to form in his eyes. "Don't you dare die on me Sunset, I won't let you."

For all you people who guessed Sunset, give yourselves a pat on the back, no scratch that. Here's a cake. But yea, reason for her joining the Assassins will be revealed next chapter but what did Seahawk mean by 'one of her friends will be acting different'? Stay tuned to find out.
