Chapter 4

Welcome to another chapter of QftA, we will be going into more detail on who that Templar really is and get some hindsight on the ponies knowledge of this world. Let's begin.

"Alright, time to test out this body." Shooting Star said to himself.

He was now outside the school now and wanted to get a better view of his surroundings, looking over the school he saw that it was a decent size for a viewpoint. He assumes that humans can climb just as well as ponies so the ex-alicorn ran up and grabbed onto a ledge and pulled himself up.

"Wow." Shooting Star thought. "This is so much easier, these things on the end of my hooves are like hooks." He still didn't have a knowledge on this world and made a mental note to research later.

As he got to the top, he looked at his surroundings. He was amazed at how the city looked, the only buildings that were this nice were the buildings in Ponyitaly and Canterlot Castle. As he was done with his findings, he looked around to see where he could jump off. The ex-alicorn frowned when he saw nothing to break his fall.

"Looks like I'm gonna have to do this like any other pony." He thought. He climbed down from the flagpole and continued to descend, once he was at a point where he could jump without hurting himself, he heard a voice coming from below. He looked down to see Flash.

"How did you get up there?" Flash asked.

Shooting Star frowned. "I climbed."

"And how are you gonna get down?"

The Assassin smirked. "Like this."

He jumped off and landed on his feet, the impact hurt a little bit but nothing he can't handle. He looked at Flash staring in shock.

He walked past him. "C'mon, let's go."

Flash nodded and followed him back to the cafeteria. When they got there, they saw the girls talking to each other and Rarity was scratching Spikes ears.

Twilight smiled when she saw her boyfriend. "Hey Shooting Star, where did you go?"

"Just checking out my surroundings."

She giggled at that. Rainbow Dash was about to ask more when suddenly the bell rang signalling the start of classes again.

After school

"How in Equestria did you survive this Twi?" Shooting Star groaned.

Twilight just giggled. "Maybe it's because I wanna learn."

"I wanna learn too, but it's SOOO boring."

Rainbow Dash slapped them on the backs. "Well, it's over. So that means you guys can come with me now, I have already spoken to my parents about this and they are cool with it."

Shooting Star grinned. "Well, lets go."

They managed to get to Rainbow Dash's house, where they were greeted by two people. The female had yellow skin and rainbow coloured hair with purple eyes. She is wearing a black shirt and a white skirt with shorts underneath. Her name is Rainbow Blitz.

The male had cyan skin and gold eyes with blond hair. He was wearing a green shirt and black trousers. His name is Thundercloud.

"Hello, you two." Rainbow Blitz greeted. "Let me show you to your rooms."

As they were going up Shooting Star and Twilight were staring at a phone in Rainbow Blitz's hand.

"Twi, do you know what that is?" Shooting Star asked.

Twilight shook her head. "I only saw it a couple of times but could never figure out what it is."

"It's an Iphone." Rainbow Dash said.

After receiving weird looks from the two, the rainbow haired girls jaw dropped. "Seriously, what do you guys have in Equestria?"

Rainbow Blitz looked behind her. "Yes, I'm curious about that too."

"We don't have much of that stuff." Twilight answered. "Wait, how do YOU know about Equestria?"

Rainbow Blitz smiled. "Rainbow Dash told us everything, it certainly explained about the whole fiasco at the Fall Formal."

Shooting Star scratched his head. "The what?"

"Tell you later."

They then got shown to their rooms. "Now, Twilight. You'll be staying with Rainbow Dash since I don't know what you and your boyfriend will do when your alone."

Both of them blushed really hard. Rainbow Dash made a mental note to see how far in the relationship they were. Hey, she had a dirty mind. Sue her.

"Very well." Shooting Star said.

Eventually, the two got settled in and were now looking up stuff on the laptops, or rather Shooting Star was trying too.

Twilight did do research before, but that was only about the modern times of society, she had no clue about the history and the tech.

"What are you searching?" Twilight asked.

"What those balloons are."

Twilight raised an eyebrow. "Balloons?"

"Yeah, those." Shooting Star pointed at Twilights breasts o which she blushed madly.

"They're breasts Shooting Star."

Rainbow Dash was listening in on the two without them knowing. Shooting Star chuckled.

"Okay Twilight, we have had sex how many times?"

"Fifty nine." Twilight answered.

"And I know for a fact your breasts are not anywhere near there."

Twilight rolled her eyes. "New body Shooting Star."

Rainbow Dash's eyes widened. "They had sex? This is sooo juicy."

She then frowned. "Oh god, I'm starting to sound like Rarity."

Eventually, the two of them got their fair share of data and Twilight departed for bed while Shooting Star decided to go for a walk. Rainbow Dash grinned at her. "So how big is he?"

With Shooting Star

He stretched as he went to the park, but all of a sudden he was caught in a force.

"Nnnnngh, what's happening?"He grunted.

"It's been a while Assassin." A voice said from the shadows.

Shooting Star glared at the figure. He knew this person so well, they met ten years ago, in Manehatten, while on a mission. The same mission which cost Shooting Star part of his eyesight. One of the Templar masters, Killburn.

He sneered. "Oh, how you've grown."

"What are YOU doing here, snake?" Shooting Star growled.

"Oh, how I've missed that young colt who thought he could make a difference. At least his dreams would be more shattered in front of him. But you have seem to come to terms with this war."

"ANSWER ME!"

Killburn chuckled. "Alright. I have come for this world."

Shooting Star frowned. "Why? The Templars don't exist here."

"Not right now. But with the help of THIS." Gesturing to the Apple in his hand. "The Templars will be born here, and we will rule this world AND Equestria."

Shooting Star growled. "I will stop you!"

Killburn laughed loud. "What can you possibly do? You're in a whole new world, where nothing makes sense to you. Your precious Brotherhood doesn't exist here and there are only three of you."

"What are you talking about? There are only two. Me being one of them."

Killburn grinned. "I wouldn't expect you to know her, she left the Assassins after six months of training, then coming to this world."

He then let the spell go and Shooting Star collapsed. Killburn walked away. "When the time comes, you'll be the first to die. Then Princess Twilight, and finally the other Assassin."

Before he left completely, he turned around. "I'll enjoy killing you, you've been a pain in my flank since the day we met. Even though I made you lose part of your eyesight it was not enough."

"Good day Mr Star."

Killburn teleported away.

With Twilight and Rainbow Dash

Twilight frowned. "What do you mean?"

Rainbow lied on her stomach. "I mean since the two of you have had sex, I'm just curious."

Twilight blushed. "Rainbow, I am NOT having this conversation with you."

Rainbow continued in a sing-song voice. "If you don't I'll tell the others."

The ex-alicorn rolled her eyes and replied in the same voice. "If I do, you're gonna tell them anyway."

Rainbow Dash crossed her arms. "Damn, you know me so well."

Both of them giggled at that. "Well, at least tell me this."

"What is it?"

Rainbow Dash looked at her. "What is your actual reason for being here this time? And I don't want the whole 'you don't wanna know' thing cos I DO wanna know."

Twilight sighed. "Fine, I'll tell you. BUT, only stuff I'm comfortable with."

Rainbow Dash quickly got into a comfortable position.

"Okay, the truth is, we're looking for something. It is more huge than my crown."

Rainbow Dash's eyes widened. "It could mean trouble for your world, as well as mines."

Rainbow Dash rubbed her forehead. "Alright, this is a lot to take in. I'm gonna try and think about it in my sleep."

They both retired to their beds. "Goodnight, Twilight."

"Goodnight, Rainbow Dash."

Shooting Star was in the kitchen, trying to make something. A cheese sandwich to be exact, while he could have used his magic, he wanted to learn how to use these... hands.

"I was wondering who was making all that noise." A voice said behind him.

Shooting Star turned around and saw Rainbow Blitz in a robe smiling at him. "What are you doing up so late?"

Shooting Star was fumbling with a knife. "Trying to get used to these things."

Rainbow Blitz took the knife off hi. "Stop before you hurt yourself."

"I've had plenty of experience with-" A light bulb lit up in Shooting Stars head. He smirked and activated his hidden blade to cut the cheese. Rainbow Blitz dropped the knife in shock.

"W-What the heck is that?"

Shooting Star looked at her. "Oh this? Just a little handy tool."

"Wow, I've never seen anything like it."

"Oh yeah, it's from my world."

Rainbow Blitz looked it over. "Can I see it?"

Shooting Star nodded. "Sure, here."

He strapped one off and lobbed it over to the human which she caught.

"You know how to wield a blade?"

Rainbow Blitz rolled her eyes. "I'm part of the police force, I think I can handle a knife."

She then frowned when she saw she didn't know how to put it on. She looked at Shooting Star sheepishly. "Uuuh, little help here?"

"Sure." Shooting Star said as he helped Rainbow Blitz put it on.

"Alright, how does this work?"

"Flick your wrist."

She did so and her eyes widened when a blade popped out. "Woah, amazing."

Shooting Star smirked. "Yep, it is something else."

Rainbow Blitz retracted the blade. "I've never seen anything like it. How does it even work?"

"Have a seat and I'll tell you everything."

After giving the ex-alicorn his blade back, she sat down eager to listen.

"Well, I am... a warrior. I fight for the peace in Equestria."

"What's it like?" Rainbow Blitz asked.

"Well, I'm not sure if Rainbow Dash told you this but it's a world full of ponies. I'm an alicorn, a unicorn, pegasus and earth pony."

After he explained everything (Minus the Assassins of course) Rainbow Blitz made her way up to bed.

She turned and smiled at him. "This was good, we should have more of these talks."

Shooting Star grinned. "Guid idea."

He realised the cheese was still there and went back to making his sandwich.

Next morning

It was the weekend, according to Rainbow Dash.

So Shooting Star decided to take a walk today. As he was walking through the streets he marveled at the various scenery.

Although one thing he hated, okay a lot of things he hated were the noises. Not even Canterlot was this noisy and don't get him started on the smell. He felt like he was gonna choke from the fumes of those cars.

"Maybe if I go to the park." Shooting Star thought.

So that's what he did, but when he got there he was caught by the same force.

He looked to see Killburn standing there. "You miss me?"

"What do you want now?" Shooting Star growled.

"Oh nothing, just came to give you a warning."

"For what?"

Killburn grinned evily." Oh, you'll find out soon enough."

He then took out a knife. "But here's a gift in the meantime."

Shooting Star grunted in pain as Killburn drove the knife into his stomach.

"I'm disappointed Assassin, I thought you of all people would be wearing armour."

Shooting Star fell to the ground as the wound started bleeding. "Better hope someone helps you, wouldn't want her majesty to worry about you."

Killbrn teleported away leaving Shooting Star alone, he was about to pass out when he saw two figures coming towards him, but his vision was blurry so he couldn't see.

"Oh my god, Shooting Star are you okay?" One figure asked while kneeling down.

She then turned to the other figure. "Octavia, call an ambulance, quickly!"

The other figure nodded. "Right away Vinyl!"

That was all Shooting Star remembered before he blacked out.

Good stopping point then, we now know who the Templar is. The same one who cost Shooting Star part of his eyesight in Burning Through The Ranks but we still don't know who the mystery Assassin is. And now Octavia and Vinyl are here, but how do they know Shooting Star? Find out next time.
