Here's a quick preview of what's to come in Ch 3. I would normally make this blurb a little longer, but I just finished typing one only to accidentally click out of it forcing me to start clean, so I don't want to have to go through all of that again. I'm kind of lazy like that. Anyways, enjoy!

One of the benefits of Pony kind that was often taken for granted was the warm and protective coat of fur that allowed them comfort and modesty without the need to constantly wear clothing every other second. Blueblood came to realize this truth all too well due to the fact that his entire form shook and twitched from the uncomfortable chill he felt all around it. To add insult to injury, it wasn't even his form. It looked exactly like Twilight Sparkle had described from her time spent in Equestria's parallel opposite: a tall, hairless ape that he'd place even lower than a common Earth Pony. And the growths coming from what used to be his hoofs. The "prince" shuddered in a mix of horror and disgust to himself.

"I swear, that lying insect's shell is as good as mine for this once I get back."

The memory seemed to repeat itself over and over in his head, taunting him for being so caught up in his ultimate and glorious success and not realizing his fatal mistake before it was already too late.

The literal black-hole in Equestria that sucked away the Six Elements of Harmony finally sealed itself back up like a simple thread was applied to it in an instant. Blueblood could only blankly stare at where it once was for at least ten seconds as he let his mind soak in what he thought was impossible. Chrysalis stood not too far away, seeming to also relish in her success.

"They're... gone." He finally said. "They're actually gone."

"You sound surprised." The Changeling Queen said to him in an almost gloating manner.

"I knew the Alicorn Amulet was powerful, but that it actually had the power to banish somepony from this world altogether... it shows that truly no force in all of Equestria will be able to stand against us!" The Unicorn cries out raising his front right hoof high above his head. "That old fool of an Aunt of mine will fall within the week. No, within the hour! This is the first day of a new and glorious era for Equestria's history, OUR era!"

In the midst of his self-indulgence, the Royal Pony wasn't aware of Chrysalis slowly making her way towards him as her eyes once again dawned a sickening red hue.

"Well, you're certainly right about one thing." She says to him.

The loud shriek of a spell being cast was heard as Blueblood's eyes suddenly widened while his entire body suddenly turned numb. Collapsing to the ground with a grunt, his eyes weakly peered up to find Chrysalis staring down with sick delight in her twisted eyes. "You were right when you said that a new era had begun. But it was never one that included you."

"You... you said that.. we'd overthrow Celestia together!"

"And just like the vain and pompous fool I thought you to be, you believed it. You actually put stock in the faith that helping someone who tried to invade your home less than a year ago would benefit you? If it weren't for one of those ponies that you just willingly helped banish from this world, I would have done to you what I planned to do with the rest of your pathetic family. And let's be honest, Blueblood. You never had any intention of ruling with me."

"What are you talking abo-"

"I HAVE EARS TOO, YOU IDIOT! Your eyes and your disgusting mind were all focused on the Element of Generosity. I heard you say that you'd make her your Queen when you previously pledged your loyalty to ME! Not that you even mattered to begin with, but it still takes a great level of arrogance and sheer stupidity to do what you did."

The Changeling Queen could feel the amount of fear that the sniveling Royal gave off before her. But still, he did serve a greater purpose towards helping her come this far. She supposed that some mercy wasn't out of the question. "But I'm not going to kill you."

"W..w..w.. what?"

"You heard me. You played your part and helped me secure my future as ruler of Equestria. That, and you seem to be perhaps one of the only other ponies I know that hates Celestia even more than I do, so I can't really be too harsh with you. I can also guarantee you that she will indeed meet her end soon enough. I hope that you take comfort in that."

Blueblood's pride would normally never permit him to grovel, but with his life hanging in the balance, that's just what he found himself doing.

"Oh, thank you, thank you, my Queen! You are most gracious and ki-" He found himself suddenly interrupted by the sound of electricity cracking as he saw Chrysalis' horn begin to glow.

"I said I wasn't going to kill you... I didn't say anything about letting you stay."

But for now, he sat shivering underneath a thick wool blanket on a hotel bed with no idea where to go next. At that moment, the door to the room opened as the human females named Jane and Darcy came in respectively carrying a glass mug and bowl, both of which steam emanated from.

"Here," Jane said handing him the mug. "Drink this."

Taking ahold of the glass, albeit clumsily, with his two hands, the former Equestrian peered into it to find a thick brown liquid slowly swirling around.

"And this would be...?" He asked with a mix of confusion and condescension.

"Hot chocolate." She replied.

"Oh.. so this is what it looks like."

"Wait, I'm confused." Darcy said outloud. (Darcy is clueless to the situation; plot twist of the century.)

"I mean I'm used to having mine with marshmallows, whipped cream and sprinkled with cinnamon, all low calorie, of course. I don't think I've ever seen the actual drink before until now."

The two girls immediately exchanged their own separate looks of incredible disbelief. But then again, after meeting alien Gods wearing capes and wielding magic hammers, this should seem relatively normal by comparison. "O...kay then." Jane awkwardly replied. "You said your name was Blueblood?"

"Prince Blueblood, heir to the throne of Canterlot and by right, the entire nation of Equestria."

Hearing that last word in place of Asgard served as a bit of surprise for the two of them.

"I know this guy we met about a year back named Thor," Darcy said to him. "You two might get along."

"Wait, Thor? I thought he was just a myth."

"Ok, now I'm even more confused."

Rolling his eyes in an annoyed fashion, the human former prince decided explaining his choice of words might help his own situation. "Where I come from, this Thor was a character of legend and mythology. He had amazing god-like strength, could summon storms at a moments notice and could even fly without the use of his wings."

Jane's eyes blinked with surprise upon hearing "his wings." "I'm sorry, what?"

"Oh, yes, he was also a creature known as a Pegasus Pony."

"Um, no he wasn't- isn't. He's a human- no, alien, I mean Asgardian. Ok, now I'm confused."

"Hmm, I do hope this isn't a common occurrence for you apes, otherwise, I might be in serious trouble."

Jane's face then suddenly shifted from confused and concerned to surprised and offended. "I'm sorry?"

"Oh, did I stutter or speak too fast for you to understand? I'm sorry, I'll speak slower. I. Me right here. Do ho-"

"I'm sorry as in "What the Hell is your problem?" Jane says interrupting the Prince's mock speech. "Maybe we should have just left you outside to freeze to death instead of trying to save your smug ass!"

Stranded from his home, transformed into a hideous primate creature and now they were talking back to him? Blueblood's temper at this point was one hundred and ten percent gone.

"You insolent, sharp-tonged monkey! You dare to address me in such a tone?!" He yelled whilst managing to stand up on his now longer back legs. In his newly reborn rage, the prince let the wool blanket covering him from before slip from his body, quickly causing Jane and Darcy to turn their heads away in embarrassment.

"That's right, cower before your royal superior! My form may be changed, but I am still the supreme ruler of all of Eque-" What Blueblood failed to notice during his egotistical rant was Darcy's hand quickly reaching into her jacket pocket and pulling out a small black device with several buttons and switches. Pressing one soon sent a shockwave of invisible electricity coursing through his body which shook and spasmed like it was experiencing a seizure. His unconscious form fell to the floor with a loud thud followed by a high-pitched almost "girl-like" moan.

Jane turned to face his "assailant" with a face of mixed emotions. "I thought we got rid of that after we went through customs at the airport."

"I snuck it back when they weren't looking. And a good thing too. Even with Thor's tantrums he was never a snobby nutcase... and a naked one at that."

"Yeah, going to pretend I didn't hear that. What was he talking about with "a Pegasus Pony" or "Equestria?" Wait, he also said something "getting his hooves on someone named Chrysalis." Those are all horse related terms. Then something about his form changing? Was.. he not always like this?"

"Can I date him?"

"I'm sorry, what?"

"Yeah, I know he's kind of an asshole, but so was Thor and you ended up with him. Plus, he's not all that bad looking for an alien nutjob."

"Darcy, were you even listening to me?"

"Yeah, mostly, but then he kind of distracted me."

Jane just looked at her friend/assistant at a true loss for words. "I... I.. I'm gonna try and get ahold of S.H.E.I.L.D." She says before heading towards the door. "You watch him in case he wakes up."

"Ok!" Darcy excitedly answered.

She turned back with a short sigh to face her with a look of frustration and disgust. "And cover him?"

Darcy's only response was a short disappointed moan.

In case it wasn't clear before, I'm not a fan of Darcy in the movies. She's annoying, unfunny, and pretty much USELESS when compared to other non powered characters like Dr. Erik Selvig and Jane, the latter of which I'm not overly impressed with either, but at least she's not the female human equivalent of Jar Jar Binks. Feel free to disagree, but I've already made up my mind about Darcy. Check back latter for the full chapter!
